Abstract

The research was implemented on February 2016, in Kuala Merbau Village Merbau Island Districts Kepulauan Meranti Regency Riau Province. The purpose of the research are to identify the types of activities of fisherman household members, to analyze the contribution of fisherman household. Members to help increase household income and to know the reason of fisherman household members to work. The methods was used by survey method and the determination of respondents with census. The results of this research indicate that activities performed by fisherman household members in Kuala Merbau Village on the fisheries sector and non fisheries. The contribution of fisherman household members are relatively high contribution of the husband 74,5%, the wife contribution 11,2% is low and contribution of childrens 14,3% is low. The reasons of fisherman’s wife to participate in work up namely are to increase revenue, to finding children's education and use full the time for advantage. The reasons of children to work are to help the household economy and meet their own needs.Keywords : Contribution, Fisherman Household Members, Income.

Abstract

PERMEN-KP No.2 Tahun 2015 Policy has caused the pros and cons in the society. This study aims to determine how big the impact of these policies on the economy of Fishers as well as the right solution to minimize negative impacts. The research was conducted in February 2016 by 14 Fishermen as respondents in the village of Raja Bejamu, Sinaboi District Riau Province. This study use field survey by interviewing fishermen and their responses before and after the policy. Data shows 21% of fishermen pro and 79% cons with the policy as well as 3 of the 14 fishers claim there is a decrease in their income as a result of the implementation of this rule. The grants to switch catching tool and the grace period is considered to be one of the appropriate solutions to minimize the negative impact. From the results of this study concluded that this policy does not impact to the economy significantly,but there are some obstacles such as the high cost of switching the catching tool and the societies that have been so dependent on the use of cantrang.So it takes a proper solution that the policy should not be a clash between the interests of the government and fishermen.Keywords : Economic Impact, PERMEN-KP No.2 Tahun 2015, Responses of Fishers, Solutions

Abstract

The research about business analysis enlargement of Mudcrab (Scylla Serrata) was conducted on February, 2016 in Kepenghuluan Panipahan Laut, Sub-District of Pasir Limau Kapas, District of Rokan Hilir, Riau Province. This study aims to (1) determine the input-output business enlargement of Mudcrab (Scylla Serrata), (2) analyzed the business enlargement of crab pond of Mudcrab (Scylla Serrata). The method used is a survey method that includes observation, interviews and documentation.Based on the results of research (1) stocking density in each pond with an area of 3x2-4x2 m as much as 200-300 crab / pond / crop with total production of 99,5-297,5 kg / pond / crop, (2) the average production costs incurred in enlargement business of Mudcrab (Scylla Serrata) with an area of 3x2-4x2 m of Rp 4.554.000, - / harvest up to Rp 15.714.000, - / harvest with total receipts received by Rp 9.950 million, - / harvest up to Rp 29.75 million, - / harvest and great benefits received Rp 5.396 million,-/ harvest up to Rp 14.036 million, - / harvest and (3) enlargement business of crab pond of Mudcrab (Scylla Serrata) in Kepenghuluan Panipahan Laut feasible with RCR value> 1, the FRR values> 6.02% and the value of PPC is between 1,46 to 1,54 per period or ± 8 months. Abstract

This study research conducted in April 2016 in District Batang Tuaka Indragiri Hilir. This study aims to determine: 1) the effect of household income toward fishermen wife fertility in District Batang Tuaka Indragiri Hilir, 2) the influence of husband and wife education toward the fishermen wife fertility in District Batang Tuaka Indragiri Hilir, 3) the influence of working time toward the fishermen wife fertility in District Batang Tuaka Indragiri Hilir, 4) the effect of the first marriage age of fertility wife fishermen in District Batang Tuaka Indragiri Hilir, 5) the effect of contraceptives using toward the fishermen wife fertility in District Batang Tuaka Indragiri Hilir. The method used in this reseacrh was survey method, with 76 respondents. Consisting of two villages namely Sungai Luar were 42 couples and 34 married couples Sungai Piring. Based on the research results of this study concluded that: Family income variable (X1) significantly affects the fisherman's wife Fertility in District Batang Tuaka Indragiri Hilir, Respondents' education level variable (X3) significantly affects the fisherman's wife Fertility in District Batang Tuaka Indragiri Hilir, Variable working time hours (X4) significantly affects the fisherman's wife Fertility in District Batang Tuaka Indragiri Hilir, The variable age at first marriage (X5) did not significantly influence the Fisherman's wife Fertility in District Batang Tuaka Indragiri Hilir, Variable duration of use of contraceptives (X6) significantly affects the fisherman's wife Fertility in District Batang Tuaka Indragiri Hilir Keyword : Factors, Fertility, Firsheman Wife, Batang Tuaka

Abstract

ABSTRACT            This research was coducted in September 2016 in the Kuala Terusan Village Pangkalan Kerinci sub district of  Pelalawan districtof the Riau provincial The purpose of this study is to : know the description of the changes in the management of lake dropes offshore Kuala Terusan village the Pangkalan Kerinci regency Pelalawan district of Riau Province. The methode used in this research is case study methode with qualitative approach. The determination of informan using snowball sampling technique and data collection in the form of primary and secondary data.            The result of the research shows the picture change of the management Tanjung Putus lake of Kuala Terusan villagethe Pangkalan Kerinci sub district the Pelalawan district of the Riau Province, the cause of the change in the management of the drooping lagoon consist of several factors, namely the increasing of population, the lack of supervision from the community and Ninik Mamak, the technological of development and the economic need.While the efforts that heve been done in maintaining the management of fishery resources of Tanjung Putus lake consist of regulation and sanctions, as well as conducting lake autions once a year.Keyword : Management, Fishery Resources, Conservation, sanctions

Abstract

This Research had done on April 2017 in Bagan Asahan Pekan village Tanjung Balai Subdistrict Asahan Regency South Sumatera Province. The method of this research is survey method. This research aims to observed change of social economics livelihood’s fishermen after descent of mollusks production in Bagan Asahan Pekan Village. Collecting data had done with observation technique, quisioner and interview technique and anlysis data is descriptif analysis and test t-paired.The result of this research point out that descent of mollusks production have influential to change of social such as change of means of livelihood, education and relation or interaction with family and the other. Abstract

 ABSTRACT This Research  was conducted in Mei 2017 in the Beach Cermin, Perbaungan Sub-District, Serdang Bedagai District, North Sumatera Province. The method used in this research is survey method. The purpose of this research is to knowing the tourism activies to the coastal community economy and to know the impact of tourism activities to the coastal community social. Based on the results of research that has been conducted on the existing activities in Beach Cermin is the presence of toilet guards. For the activities in the economy is the coastal community mirrors provide leasing of facilities on the beach, such as game rental, swimming tire rental, and tent rental for a place to relax, and for activities in the existing social Beach Mirror is the appearance of art every Saturday.Keywords: impact, tourism, Serdang Bedagai district

Abstract

 ABSTRACT The research of the profit sharing system of squid fishing using fishing gear stick held dip net landed at the Ocean Fishing Port Belawan North Sumatera Provinceheld on 5 March to 22 March 2018. This study was aimed to: 1) know the employment assignment based on the position, 2) describe the system for the catch between the fisherman owner and the fisherman, and 3) the income ratio between the fisherman owner and the worker fisherman using the system for the local result Law No.16 of 1964. The method used is survey method with the determination of respondents done by stratified random sampling.            The results of this study indicate that the division of tasks against the effort labor of fishing stick held dip net has been in accordance with their respective positions and profit sharing system applied in this fishing business is a system of local revenue sharing with the percentage of profit sharing 60% for the owner and 40% for fishermen laborers. Owner's income is 30 GT (IDR.60,030,000), fisherman's labor (IDR.40.020.000), and for the 40 GT fisherman owner (IDR.143.120.000), fisherman's labor (IDR.57.248.000). While using the profit-sharing system according to the Act, the income of fishermen laborers rose with the highest percentage increase of 107%. Such a far-reaching income comparison proves that the profit sharing using Law No.16 of 1964 is better than the local revenue share.Keywords:System, Profit Sharing, Revenue, Fishermen, Stick Held Dip Net

Abstract

                                           Abstract               Research on production and marketing of goldfish seed (Cyprinus carpio) in East Pasaman Regency West Sumatera Province has been done in February 2018 in East Pasaman District West Sumatera Province. The purpose of this research was to know the production of goldfish seed by size and marketing of goldfish seeds. The data collection for seed cultivators and seed traders done on a Random Sampling.               Production of goldfish seeds in this area for size 2 - 3 cm in size with the amount of 240.3888.410, followed by 3 - 5 cm with the amount of 33.678.288, and 5 - 8 cm with the amount of 129.482.820 every year. Production of all seeds by 2017 were 303.100.514 goldfish seeds. This seed is produced from Rao District and South Rao District. For sized seeds 2-3 cm and 3-5 cm 90% marketed in East Pasaman area. While the seeds are sized 5-8 cm  48,84% marketed in long hydroelectric reservoirs, 27,90% on the Maninjau and 23,25% on the Rantau Berangin. Based on increasing production data, growing demand and agribusiness systems that continue to grow it can be said the marketing prospects of goldfish seeds in East Pasaman is very good. Keywords : Production, Marketing, Carp Fish Seeds, East Pasaman Regency

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study attempts to evaluate the objectives of the fishermen wife empowerment program and household income of fish chip crackers in Bukit Batu Village, Bengkalis Regency, Riau Province. The result of the research shows that the implementation of fishermen wife empowerment program is good, it can be seen from the condition of fish cracker processing business which has changed after the establishment of program by Marine Fisheries Department, among others: 1) the existence of business capacity improvement, 2) the improvement of business quality, 3) and the institutional strengthening that occurs in fish cracker processing business.In addition, the fishermen fishermen empowerment program also affects the income of fishermen households who participate in the empowerment of fishermen fish cracker empowerment program, on household income shown in 2017 household income outside fishing fish cracker business processing amounting to IDR. 135.600.000. and fish cracker business income revenues increased revenue amounted to IDR.59.510.400. resulting in the addition of household income of fishermen amounting to IDR.195.110.400. in 2017.And the contribution of fishermen's wife's income was 44% of the income received by fishermen's households processing fish crackers in Bukit Batu Village, Bengkalis Regency in 2017 Keyword: empowerment, fishermen’s wife, processing, income
