Abstract

This study was conducted in February 2017 which located in Petapahan Village Tapung Subsdistrict Kampar District Riau Privince. This study was aimed to knowledge the changing income from fish catch before and after the introduction of sand mining and analyze the influence of factors age, education and asset ownership on changes in livelihoods fishermen. Methods used in this research is a method of survey with 50 respondents determinatied by the census. There is a decrease in revenue from fishing with average IDR 2.154.000,- per month (68 %) after activity the introduction of mining sand, namely from IDR 3.268.667,- per month to IDR 1.114.667,- per month and significant statistically Factors that effecting a change of livelihoods fishermen significantly are age of fishermen and asset ownership, but the education level not significant .Keywords: income, livelihood, sand mining, Tapung River

Abstract

This research on pecel lele business marketing tips in the tent stalls and was held on 17 June to 3 July 2015 along the East Sumatera Lirik District of Indragiri Hulu Regency Riau province. The purpose of this study was to describe the business activities pecel lele in the tent stalls and separately describe the factors that influence marketing efforts in the shop tent pecel lele. The method used in this study is a survey method.The results showed that the tent stalls pecel lele is a trading business meal is done in the afternoon until midnight and even some are open at 17:00 pm until 24.00 pm which amounted to 6 waung pecel lele, while the business is located near the dismissal of intercity public transport this province which amounted to 3 stalls open at 15:00 pm until 3:00 pm, because the location is always crowded prospective buyers. The existence of business pecel lele by employers pecel lele in the Trans Eastern Sumatra District of Lirik Indragiri Hulu influenced by some external factors: the probability that the rate of population growth, innovation cookware, policies and government's role in business development pecel lele, where location support, availability raw materials, consumer purchasing power, the development of the marketing area. Internal factors are the factors by an employer to conduct business activities tent stalls pecel lele. the results of research conducted by the tips of respondents different merchants, among them there maid, facilities, strategic location, quality of product, service / service and cleanliness.Keywords: Marketing Tips, External Factors, Internal Factors.

Abstract

The Research on the analysis of gombang was conducted in October until November2014 in Village Kuala Merbau, District Pulau Merbau, Meranti Maritime, Riau Province. Theaims of this study were to great investmens, gross income, net income and feasibillity usinggombang. The method used to this case study, respondents were selected through purposivesampling of gombang of 7,5 and 3 bags.The results of this study indicate that investmens gombang 7 bags Rp 19.352.000, 5bags Rp 16.103.000 and 3 bags Rp 9.835.000. Gross income gombang 7 bags Rp110.088.000, 5 bags Rp 84.744.000 and 3 bags Rp 42.768.000. Net Income gombang 7 bagsRp 59.928.000, 5 bags Rp 44.253.000 and 3 bags Rp 19.800.000. Feasibility of gombang for7 bags RCR 2,19 and PPC 2,94. 5 bags RCR = 2,09 and PPC = 3,32. 3 bags RCR = 1,86 andPPC = 9,49. Abstract

This study was conducted by the 25th of April until 25 May 2016 in the Market Langgam, Langgam Subsdistrict Pelalawan District Riau Province. Research aims to analyze supply, demand and the form of marketing fish smoke in Langgam Market. Methods used in research is the method survey with the number of respondents 10 people. The number of supply and demand fish smoke the as many as 400 until 500 kg per week and when not the only about 150 until 200 kg per week. Marketing fish smoke from the products are good quality with a kind of fish Criptopterus bichirchis, Mystus nemurus, Pangasius pangasius, and Thynnichthys polylepis. Price of smoke in Market Langgam relatively accessible to the advantage Rp 5.000,- until Rp 10.000,- per kilogram. Distribution fish smoke in Market Langgam short enough, namely fishermen processing to intermediary traders then to the traders are a retailer until to consumers the end.Keywords: marketing, supply, demand, fish smoke, Langgam Market

Abstract

This study was conducted in March 2014, which took place in the District Mine Kampar district in Riau Province. This study aims to: Knowing the characteristics of fishing communities, Knowing the impact caused by sand mining on the existence of fishing effort, Knowing the impact caused by sand mining on the income of fishermen, Knowing what strategies do people in mehadapi this problem.This study uses survey data collection techniques using questionnaires to selected respondents where respondents of 16 people, 13 fishermen and three sand miners. Sand miners affect the number of fishermen, fishing gear and fish catches are steadily decreasing. Economic impact: reduced revenue in the field of fisheries, namely: the average income of the fisheries sector before the sand mining operation is Rp 1.73 million and after the sand Mining decrease the average income in the fisheries sector to Rp 1,100,000.Keywords: Sand Mining, Revenue Fishermen, District Tambang

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to measure, analyze and compare the income of pukat payang fisherman profit sharing based on these fisheries in Korong Pasir Baru Sungai Limau SubdistrictRegency Padang Pariaman by law No.1964 about 16 years for the results of the fishery. Determination of the respondent based on the purposive sampling technique with the respondent elected to as many as 15 people i.e. 5 fishermen owner, 5 fishermen helmsman and 5 people fisherman the crew.Research carried out using method survey with interview techniques. The Research showed that these pukat payang fishermen's income, at each different position.This can be seen from the median – median income of fishermen pukat payang profit sharing based on these local fishermen on the owner IDR.15.257.050, fisherman helmsman IDR.3.181.400 and the fisherman the crew of IDR.1.590.700while the median – median income of fishermen trawl these based on law No.1964 about 16 years for the results of the fishery owner fishers on the IDR 17.107.470fishermen helmsman IDR2.952.960 and the fisherman the crew of IDR.1.476.480.Keywords : Pukat Payang, Profit sharing, Income

Abstract

The Patembo Bridge is the longest bridge in North Sumatra, which is 860 meters long and and 6 meters wide, the bridge was built in 1995 and the completion was completed in 2008. Research method is survey method that is by direct observation and structured interview, with qualitative data analysis that is t- Paired test.Patembo Bridge development caused changes to the social and economic of coastal communities, especially the former pompong drivers, the coast in general bridge construction has a positive impact but for the former driver of pompong bridge has a negative impact. The construction of the bridge has a positive impact on the general public because with the bridges the traffic access becomes smooth and reducing the expenses, especially the cost of crossing the river, so it is very helpful to the community, inversely with the former people of the pompong driver. The bridge construction has a negative impact because after the bridge construction they have to switch livelihood which resulted in lower revenue. In essence, bridge development causes social change for pompong driver’s society that is negative change, such as attitude change, habits and behavior change, education, and economic change that is change of livelihood, decreasing income change.Keywords: Patembo Bridge Building, Social Change, Economic Change, Former Pompong Driver Community.

Abstract

ABSTRACT                This study aims to analyze the amount of investment in drift gill net fishing business, analyze the income and profits of drift gill net fishing business, and analyze the feasibility of drift gill net fishing business. This research is conducted by using survey method and interview technique. The number of respondents in this study were 12. Based on the results of the research, the total investment for drift gill net fishing business with a fishing fleet measuring 5 GT IS IDR. 190.583.738 and gross income adalah IDR. 6.623.333 in one fishing trip, and the profit of drift gill net fishermen is IDR. 2.387.738 in one trip. Based on the calculation of the Revenue Cost of Ratio (RCR) investment criteria, a value of 1,59 means that RCR> 1 and the business of drift gill net fishing equipment are profitable and feasible to continue. While the Financial Rate of Return (FRR) of drift gill net fishing business is 90,6% and is greater than the current bank deposit interest rate, which is 6.5%, which means it is better to invest in the business at this time. The Payback Period of Capital (PPC) value is 70 which means that the investment in this business can be returned for 70 fishing trips                Keywords: Fisherman, fish gear, business feasibility analysis

Abstract

This research was pointed to identify tourism’s condition, to study of strategy development and to find the alternative strategy development bahari tourism in Pesona Beach, Kecamatan Rupata Utara, Kabupaten Bengkalis, Provinsi Riau. The method of this research is study of case. The result showed that Pesona Beach have a tourism potention with long white sand in the beach, extending along ±17 km from Teluk Rhu to Tanjung Punak. Beside that, it has history destination as Puteri Sembilan and Puteri Tujuh Grave and estates from 100 years ago. The people of rupat utara have tradition “Mandi Safar”. Local Government as part of stakeholder built some infrastructure for supporting income from Development of Bahari Area in Pesona Beach such as Homestay, harbour,offices of local UPTD and connection between desa to kecamatan which is being built. From the result of the urgency analysis (SWOT analysis), showed the priority of development strategy; first step is getting the 2.4 point to do development of culture and bahari tourism (ecotourism); second step is getting 2.12 point to accelerate development of land access infrasctructure between kecamatan; and the third step is getting 1.97 point to prosper the local especially for who stay there.

Abstract

The research on the wage analysis of chart floating fisherman the mooring atPelabuhan Perikanan Samudera (PPS) Bungus West Sumatera Province, was conducted onJanuary 2015. This research purpose is to know how big is the ship owner wage and2JOM : Vol. 27 JUNI 2015fisherman workers of wage of KM. Putri Tunggal 02 and KM. Putri Tunggal 03, the wagepattern of this fisherman and the suitability of wage in the place with the act of the systemfor fisheries no. 16 1964. The method used in research was case study with respondentswere selected through non-probability sampling with accidental technic.The result of this research showed that the wage of the ship owner based wage for21 GT ship was 50% (Rp. 24.181.917) and for fisherman workers 50%, fishing master was18,18% (Rp. 5.216.636), chef abd mecanic was 13,64% (Rp. 3.912.477) and fishermancrew was 9,09% (Rp. 2.608.318). For fisherman owner of 30 GT ship was 50% (Rp.28.339.777) and for fisherman workers 50%, fishing master was 13,34% (Rp. 4.516.600),chef and mecanic was 10% (Rp. 3.387.450) and fisherman crew was 6,7% (Rp.2.258.300). The wage pattern in the place is familys system/habit.
