Abstract

 ABSTRACT Fish seed are the main production input for fish cultivation business. This research aimed to find out the trends in the development offish seed demand Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) having a size of 3-5 cm and to find out the factors affecting the demand of fish seed themselves (Oreochromis niloticus). The research was conducted in February until March 2019 at UPT Balai Benih Ikan (BBI) in Koto Baru Sub-District, Dharmasraya Regency, West Sumatera Province. The method used was the survey method. The population in this study were that consumers made a demand for fish seed having been provided by UPT Balai Benih Ikan (BBI). Sampling conducted was by accidental sampling. The number of respondents was 35 individu. Data collection techniques used were observation and questionnaire. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used was SPSS 20.0 with the linear multiple regression statistical analysis. The results of this study showed that the trend of the development of demand for  Tilapia fish seed (Oreochromis niloticus) having a measure 3-5 cm in 5 periods (2019-2023) was getting a decrease in demand. The demand conditions were influenced by the fish seed price factor (X1), transportation costs (X2) and fish seed size (X3). The coefficient of determination (r2) showed the effect of independent variables simultaneously at 40.2%. Consecutively the factors greatly affecting the demand were transportation costs (X2) of 0.001, seed prices (X1) of 0.002, and fish seed size (X3) of 0.003. Keywords: Fish seed, Development, Demand, and Dharmasraya.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research has been carried out in Pardomuan Nauli Village, Pematang Bandar District, Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra Province in March 2018. The location of the research was purposive, with consideration because the consideration of Simalungun Regency was one of the areas that had extensive land and extensive agriculture and large production for fisheries. The purpose of this study was to identify the types of livelihoods of the community, analyze the working time out of the fisheries, agriculture, livestock, plantations, calculate the income of the people in the fisheries, agriculture, livestock, plantations, analyze the contribution of the fisheries sector to the income of the people in Pardomuan Nauli Village.The results showed that the most dominant livelihood in Pardomuan Nauli Village, Pematang Bandar Subdistrict, Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra Province was agriculture, a side livelihood was only as a support and increase of people's standard of living, for more time between fisheries, agriculture, plantations, farmer farms Spending time in the agricultural sector because agriculture is the main income in Pardomuan Nauli Village, Pematang Bandar District, Simalungun District, North Sumatra Province, the highest income in the fisheries sector is Rp. 11,000,000 / year, the lowest income in the fisheries sector is Rp. 5,000. 000 / yr. The highest income in the agricultural sector is Rp.64,000,000 / year, the income of the people in the agricultural sector is at least Rp. 8,000,000 / year. Community income in the plantation sector is at a maximum of Rp. 13,000,000 / year, the lowest income in the plantation sector is Rp. 5,000,000 / year. Community income in the livestock sector is at a maximum of Rp.21,000,000 / year, the lowest income in the livestock sector is Rp. 8,000,000 / year.The biggest contribution influencing people's income is the agricultural sector. The fisheries sector, the plantation sector, the livestock sector are only complementary and increase the income of the community to improve the economic level of the community.Keywords: Contribution, Sector, Fisheries, Revenue.

Abstract

ABSTRACT  This research was conducted on March 5-22, 2018 at Belawan Ocean Fishing Port. The purpose of this study is to find out how much investment capital and net income, analyzing how feasibility of business if reviewed based on investment criteria from the business of squid fishing vessels 30 GT and 40 GT ships. This study also aims to see how the sensitivity of the catching of squid by means of catching bouke ami is seen from the investment criteria.  The results showed that the total investment for equipment business bouke ami ship 30 GT for IDR.1.345.470.000 and 40 GT ships amounting to IDR.1.499.880.000. As for the net income per year of 30 GT boats amounting to IDR.495.850.000 and 40 GT boats amounting to IDR.627.700.000. The investment criteria for bouke ami 30 GT vessel business is obtained NPV value IDR.1.262.015.050, BCR 1.20, IRR 67,11% (IRR> i) and For boiler business ami 40 GT got value NPV IDR.1.813.371.100, BCR 1.28, IRR 87.93% (IRR> i).Based on the calculation of sensitivity analysis within 10 years from both types of vessel size, it can be concluded that the fishing gear business of bouke ami will experience losses if there is a 10% cost increase and 10% decrease in production in the fourth scenario. Where for the NPV value of the two vessel sizes are negative, the BCR is <1, and the IRR is smaller than the highest interest rate per year, then the business is better stopped if the fishing gear business bounce experiencing the incident like this. Keywords : Capture Equipment Bouke Ami, Investment, Income, Financial Analysis,    Sensitivity Analysis.

Abstract

This study aimed to utilize the fish bone waste from different types of fish, Pangasius sp., Clarias sp., Paraplotosus sp. as a high calcium of bone flour and determine the quality characteristics of fish bone flour which was produced. The method used was a non-factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD), with different types of fish bones as treatments which consisting of 3 levels: Pangasius sp. bone (Tp), Clarias sp. bone (Tl), and Paraplotosus sp. bone (Ts) with 3 replications and 9 units of experimental units. The parameters tested were organoleptic, proximate analysis, calcium, phosphorus and whiteness degrees. The results showed that the Pangasius sp. bone flour (Tp) was the best treatment with characteristics of brilliant appearance, the distinctive aroma of fish was still felt, smooth and dry texture, as well as whiteness degrees that the best treatment in walking catfish bone flour with value 81.30%, referred to whiteness degrees of flour, it is below the range of 80-90%. Meanwhile the best proximate value was obtained in Paraplotosus sp. bone treatment (Ts) with moisture, ash, fat, protein, carbohydrate, calcium and phosphorus content was 5.71%, 54.60%, 2.57%, 25.21%, 10.83%, 38.4%, and 33.9%.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the type of work carried out by fishermen wife’s, calculate the amount of income earned by fishermen and contribution fishermen wife’s and analyze several factor influence wife’s contribution the increase income of fishermen family. This research was conducted in September 2018. The method used in this research were a survey method. Respondents taken in this study is 36 people, namely fishermen and fishermen wife’s that work. The results of this Penelitianresearch indicate the work carried out by fishermen wife’s such as rickety stalls, sewing, trade, rice stalls, morning absorption stalls, The mean of income the fishermen’s is IDR 1.568.106,-, the mean of income the fishermen wife’s is IDR 797.222,-, the mean of income the fishermen family is IDR 2.577.829,- and the contribution of fishermen’s wife is 32%. The results of the analysis are 94,6%. Factors that singnificantly influence the wifw’s contribution in increasing the income off the fishermen’s family are wife’s income, aducation, number of family dependents, work time bulk and spending.

Abstract

Research about BRI bank crediting mechanisms conventional Pekanbaru branch office on fisheries in Pekanbaru is held on June 2015 in Pekanbaru city Riau province. This research has a goal to know the factors that influence the fluency provision of credit in fisheries sector and identify problems that occur on credit fisheries. The method used in this research is field research that the resercher collect the data to the field directly. Based on the result of research is found the result of BRI bank crediting mechanisms conventional Pekanbaru branch office started from administration, briefing and business survey, consideration and realitation. The factor that influences credit granting fisheries is credit history some prospective customers previosly and the problems that is found is collateral.Key words: Trachinotus Blochii, Development, Production

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research is about effectiveness regulation minister of maritime affairs and fisheries at Bungus Ocean Fishing Port has been done in April 2018. The purpose of this research is to find out implementation of the effectiveness of Permen-KP No 71 of the year 2016 in PPS Bungus and knowing the problems that arise regarding the effectiviness of Permen-KP No 71 of the year 2016.The research method used is the method of the survey with the approach of a qualitative, that is conducting observations directly to the field.The determination of respondents technique be used Purposive Sampling with a total of 18 respondents.The research showed that Permen-KP no 71 of the year 2016 on the chart it’s still not effective due to lack of socialization to fishermen regarding the use of the fishing who environmentaly friendly. The application of the Permen-KP No 71 of the year 2016 in PPS Bungus there are pros and cons in the community. The problem in dealing with the application of Permen KP No 71 of the year 2016 againts the use of lights, the nets and the arrest on a chart also have an impact with the advent of fear of a fisherman when fishing, the reduced by fishermen, the number of fishermen who are unemployed, and the difficulty of fishermen to move to the arrest. Keywords: Effectiveness, MoMA&F Regulation, The arrest of the chart

ABSTRAKThis studyaims to determinethe increase inhousehold incomeoffishermanthroughfisherman's wife participation to support husband earn a living,sowifecould contribute tohouseholdandreduce economic responsibilities. Thisresearchused survey method is the method through purposive samplingas manyas20fisherman’s wives.The result shows that the fisherman's wife has a significant role insupporting the household economy. Wife's role in support household economicmake wife doing a double role in the household. Fisherman's wife contributethrough such kind of job: rubber tappers, processing of fishery products,fishmonger, daily traders and seamstress. The wife’s contribution was work asrubber tappers, so the conclution was that alternative activities can be developedthrough UMKM (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises).Keywords : Fisherman wife, houshold income, contribution.

 ABSTRACT This Research  was conducted in Mei 2017 in the Beach Cermin, Perbaungan Sub-District, Serdang Bedagai District, North Sumatera Province. The method used in this research is survey method. The purpose of this research is to knowing the tourism activies to the coastal community economy and to know the impact of tourism activities to the coastal community social. Based on the results of research that has been conducted on the existing activities in Beach Cermin is the presence of toilet guards. Abstract

This study was conducted in January 2016 in the village of Lubuk Puding in the District of Buru Karimun Riau Islands Province. The objective of this study was to determine the characteristics of fishing grantees, to determine changes in fishing livelihoods after receiving the grant, and to determine the relationship characteristic of changes, livelihoods and grants program. The method used in this study was survey of 160 grantees fishermen population, in which this study taken as much as 15% of the 160 populations or 24 peoples.Based on the research result, the characteristics of grant recipient are productive fishermenage, low education and the number of family member of fishermen. The livelihood of fishermen grant recipients changed from the preparatory stage to the growth stage, while in food consumption and employment on a fixed income and sanitation and hygiene unchanged. Characteristics with real changes in the livelihoods of fishermen are age which have relationship with income and with the job opportunities, the number of family member has relationship with food consumption and grant, and food consumption have relationships with the grant.Keywords: Change, Livelihoods, Fisherman.
