Abstract

Implementation of the internet into the village policy in the form of building a wifi tower in Tanjung  Medan Village is a form of basic service by the village government to the community as a support for community life activities through the internet network, and supporting the performance of village government in the villageTanjung Medan.Regulation of the Minister of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Areas and Transmigration of the Republic of Indonesia Number 16 of 2018 concerning Priority for the Use of Village Funds in 2019 is described in Article 5 Paragraph 2 letter (a) of procurement, construction, development and maintenance of basic infrastructure for fulfillmentthe need for basic service activities and Presidential Regulation Number 95 of 2018 concerning Electronic-Based Government Systems.The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of the Village Entry Internet Policy in Tanjung Medan Village, Rokan IV Koto District, Rokan Hulu Regency in 2018. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. the location of this research was carried out in the village of Tanjung Medan. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The theory used in this research is the theory of implementation or policy implementation by Merile S.grindel The data analysis technique used is a qualitative method with an interactive model.The result of the research is that the implementation of internet policy into villages in the village of Tanjung Medan, Rokan IV Koto District, Rokan Hulu Regency in 2018 has not been implemented optimally. this is because the internet program into the village has not been able to be utilized by the village government of Tanjung Medan, such as the village website has not yet been made, some people have not used the village wifi appropriately, and public services are still carried out manually. it is caused by influencing interests, types of benefits. Degree of change to be achieved, Location of decision making, program implementer, resources used and the environment in implementing internet policy into villages in Tanjung Medan Village.  Keywords: Policy Implementation, Internet Entering the Village, Village Government

Abstract

This research has goal to know the effect of learning model jigsaw toward the activity of studying students and  mastery of the material. The design of this research is pretest-posttest non equivalent. The sample of class VIIIB and VIIID are selected by clusters of random sampling. The data of this research quantitative and qualitative data. Qualitative data got by average value pretest, posttest, and N-gain that analyzed statistically using uji-u and uji-t. Qualitative data is students learning activity, student response that analyzed in descriptive. The result of study showed that the student activity has already increased, that is giving opinion aspect, work in teams, present the results of the discussion, ask a question. Mastering material also get increasing with average N-gain (0,56). In addition most of students gave positive response toward use of jigsaw model. Thus, learning process by using model of Jigsaw may increasing the activities of studying and material mastery of the student.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran Jigsaw terhadap peningkatan aktivitas belajar dan penguasaan materi siswa. Desain penelitian ini pretes postes non-equivalen. Sampel penelitian adalah kelas VIIIB dan VIIID yang dipilih secara cluster random sampling.  Data penelitian ini berupa data kuantitatif dan kualitatif.  Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari rata-rata nilai pretes, postes, dan N-gain yang dianalisis secara statistik menggunakan uji-u dan uji-t. Data kualitatif berupa aktivitas belajar siswa, dan tanggapan siswa yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas siswa mengalami peningkatan, yaitu aspek mengemukakan pendapat, bekerjasama dalam kelompok, mempresentasikan hasil diskusi,mengajukan pertanyaan. Penguasaan materi juga mengalami peningkatan dengan rata-rata N-gain (0,56). Selain itu, sebagian besar siswa memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap penggunaan model Jigsaw. Dengan demikian,pembelajaran menggunakan model Jigsaw dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar dan penguasaan materi oleh siswa.Kata kunci : aktivitas belajar, model jigsaw, penguasaan materi oleh siswa, sistem pencernaan pada manusia.

Abstract

This study was conducted in March 2014, which took place in the District Mine Kampar district in Riau Province. This study aims to: Knowing the characteristics of fishing communities, Knowing the impact caused by sand mining on the existence of fishing effort, Knowing the impact caused by sand mining on the income of fishermen, Knowing what strategies do people in mehadapi this problem.This study uses survey data collection techniques using questionnaires to selected respondents where respondents of 16 people, 13 fishermen and three sand miners. Sand miners affect the number of fishermen, fishing gear and fish catches are steadily decreasing. Economic impact: reduced revenue in the field of fisheries, namely: the average income of the fisheries sector before the sand mining operation is Rp 1.73 million and after the sand Mining decrease the average income in the fisheries sector to Rp 1,100,000.Keywords: Sand Mining, Revenue Fishermen, District Tambang

Abstract

Kegiatan berlabuh jangkar para awak harus tetap dalam kondisi siap siaga. Agar tidak terjadi lagi kecelakaan seperti jangkar larat tersebut dan juga untuk mengetahui apa saja penyebab dari jangkar larat saat berlabuh Pada tanggal 18 November 2022 saat KM. Kendhaga Nusantara 04 sedang berlabuh jangkar di anchorage area Makassar, kapal mengalami jangkar larat yang mengakibatkan kapal hampir kandas menabrak break water. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya jangkar larat pada KM. Kendhaga Nusantara 04 sehingga kegiatan berlabuh jangkar dapat dilaksanakan dengan baik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Proses dan prespektif subyek lebih ditonjolkan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penilitian menunjukan bahwa faktor yang menyebabkan jangkar larat di KM. Kendhaga Nusantara 04 adalah kurangnya kesadaran crew terhadap pentingnya proses berlabuh jangkar, pemilihan tempat berlabuh yang kurang tepat dan juga pelaksanaan proses berlabuh jangkar yang kurang tepat sesuai prosedur, kurangnya pengecekan serta perawatan terhadap peralatan berlabuh seperti jangkar, rantai jangkar, dan juga windlass.

Abstract

 Proses olah gerak memasuki suatu alur pelayaran sempit atau sungai dibutuhkan suatu keahlian khusus dan perhatian lebih di banding berlayar di alur bebas. Dalam aturan COLREG’S memberikan aturan khusus yang tercantum dalam aturan 9 mengenai alur pelayaran sempit. Dalam memasuki alur pelayaran sempit kapal selalu mendapatkan resiko bahaya tubrukan dan kandas. Rumusan masalah di penelitian adalah bagaimana kegiatan olah gerak kapal dan faktor apa saja yang menyebabkan terhambatnya di alur pelayaran sempit. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan mendeskripsikan secara terperinci tentang olah gerak kapal dalam memasuki alur pelayaran sempit di alur pelabuhan Belawan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa harus mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang harus di perhatikan ketika ingin melakukan olah gerak di alur pelayaran sempit seperti, pasang surut air laut, lebar dalam alur dari lumpur, arus , dan gelombang. Upaya yang dilakukan dalam olah gerak di alur pelayaran sempit yaitu mengamati dan mempertimbangkan dalamnya alur pelayaran.

Abstract

Applied physics is often perceived as difficult by maritime cadets due to low motivation, limited conceptual readiness, and restricted access to non-print learning materials. This study investigates the effect of a scientific-approach Applied Physics textbook on the cognitive learning outcomes of Nautical Technology students at Politeknik Pelayaran Sumatera Barat. Using a quasi-experimental nonequivalent control group design, 24 second-semester cadets were divided into an experimental group using the scientific-based textbook and a control group using conventional materials. Both groups completed pretests and posttests, and the data were analyzed using the Mann–Whitney U test with a significance level of α = 0.05. The experimental group obtained a higher mean posttest score (82.50) than the control group (80.62), and the difference was statistically significant (p < 0.05). These results demonstrate that integrating scientific inquiry steps into printed instructional materials enhances students’ conceptual understanding and supports more effective learning. The unique feature of the study is related to the fact that using a research based chemical printed textbook, addressing vocational maritime education, had not previously been investigated. Implications As reported by the results, the investigation provided a contribution to maritime physics teaching materials, they can be useful as scientific-based printed resources for enhancing and improving learning outcomes in an accessible way and context-based specificity.

Abstract

The causes of disorders in children with special needs (ABK) come from various factors, including genetics, complications during pregnancy and childbirth, and exposure to poor environments, all of which require serious attention for prevention and early intervention. Significant gaps are found in inclusive education, where access to facilities, special educators, and financial support for ABK families is still very limited, especially in remote areas. The social stigma attached to ABK is a major obstacle to the acceptance and development of their potential, so a public awareness campaign is needed to create a more inclusive environment. Although legal protection has been regulated in Law Number 8 of 2016, its implementation has not been evenly distributed, and legal advocacy for ABK and their families is still lacking. Therefore, synergy is needed between families, communities, and the government to overcome these challenges, so that ABK rights can be optimally fulfilled and they can develop into empowered individuals.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors causing the failure of the Electronic Chart Display and Information System (ECDIS) during navigation on the Full ECDIS vessel MV. Tembaga Sea, and to formulate effective mitigation strategies to minimize the risk of navigational disturbances. As the primary navigation system on a Full ECDIS vessel, ECDIS plays a crucial role in ensuring maritime safety; therefore, system failure may significantly impact ship operations. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection was conducted through direct observation during the sea practice period (PRALA), in-depth interviews with the Chief Officer, Second Officer, and Third Officer, and documentation studies. Mitigation efforts include improving regular and scheduled maintenance, optimizing system and storage management, conducting training and familiarization on handling ECDIS failures, and strengthening supervision and evaluation by the company
