Abstract

with inabilities keep on expanding in Indonesia; the most astounding number of individuals with incapacities is in West Java Province, from the age gathering, ages 18-60 years possess. The most experienced inabilities were leg surrenders (21.86%), mental hindrance (15.41%) and discourse (13.08%). Alluding to the consequences of an investigation from the University of Brawijaya Disability Study and Service Center, there were 1,835 individuals with handicaps in Bandung who required strengthening by government and non-legislative associations to build certainty of incapacities. Trust in the public arena assumes vital job in structure chances to incapacity SMEs, Bandung regional government itself underpins the handicap strengthening development, one of them is the making of DifablePunyaKarya (DPK) program in a joint effort with a non-legislative association called Mata Hati Indonesia. There are a few obstructions in running this program, from the consequences of perceptions in the field, the primary snag to DPK items is the network's trust in item quality, social disgrace, and not completely marked items (brand), no underwriters and not appropriate for utilization. This study examines how the branding can affect brand trust with product certification as moderating; the research approach used is quantitative with descriptive method and single cross-sectional research design. From the population of 200 consumers taken 67 samples using the Slovin formula, respondents taken were respondents who had bought DPK products and were domiciled in the city of Bandung, West Java. This study was tested using PLS (Partial Least Square Method) with the help of XLSTAT software.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 yang muncul secara tiba-tiba menuntut sivitas akademika untuk segera melakukan perubahan pembelajaran. Pembelajaran konvensional selama ini diharapkan segera diperbaiki dan diubah menjadi ranah pembelajaran dalam jaringan serba teknologi. Pembelajaran online adalah sesuatu yang tidak bisa dilakukan dengan cepat dan terburu-buru. Jaringan harus dipersiapkan secara matang agar produk pembelajaran yang dihasilkan menunjukkan kualitas pembelajaran sebagaimana mestinya. Penggunaan media Zoom Meeting memudahkan pelaksanaan secara online dimana guru dan siswa lebih mudah untuk diakses dan digunakan. Dengan penggunaan media ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa walaupun tanpa tatap muka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi media pembelajaran Toefl melalui Zoom Meeting di masa pandemi COVID-19. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMK Mahardika Batujajar. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan soal tes dan wawancara. Analisis data menggunakan analisis model interaktif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran melalui Zoom Meeting sangat membantu dalam proses pembelajaran Toefl di masa pandemi Covid-19.

Abstract

This research focuses on types and function of taboo words that used in Grand Theft Auto (GTA): San Andreas Opening and Mission 1 Game Script. The data of this research were taken from GTA: San Andreas game script. The objectives of this research are to identify the types and functions of taboo words uttered by the characters in GTA: San Andreas. The data were collected by selecting dialogues containing taboo words after watching the video and matching the game script with the video carefully. The researcher found out three types of taboo word that appeared in GTA: San Andreas. There are obscenity types, profanity types, and epithet types. Obscenity is the type with the highest number compared to other types, there are 12 data obscenity. 6 data epithets. Then, the last type is a profanity, only 3 data of profanity. Total there are 21 data that researchers found in the Grand Theft Auto (GTA): San Andreas opening and mission 1 game script.

Abstract

This research aims to explain figurative language with meaning in Sing 2. This research used qualitative descriptive research methods. The theory used in this research is the theory of figurative language by X.J., Kennedy which states that there are eight types of figurative language such as metaphor, irony, simile, personification, hyperbole, allusion, metonymy, and symbol. The identification is done by looking at the dialogue that has been transcribed and analysing the figurative language in each dialogue based on literature: An introduction to Fiction, Poetry and Drama second edition by X.J., Kennedy. The result of this research there are four types of figurative languages, such as 12 metaphors (52,4%), 8 hyperboles (34,7%), 2 ironies (8,6%), and 1 symbol (4,3%). Metaphor commonly used in Sing 2 because the dialogue must make the audience used their critical thinking. Each figurative language in Sing 2 has non-literal meaning which makes the dialogue between characters have a different impression.

Abstract

Based on the regulation the Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and the Bureaucratic Reform of the Republic of Indonesia Number 16 Year 2009 regarding Position of Teacher Functional Score and Credit Figures, teachers are required to write scientific papers as one of the requirements to apply for a functional promotion. However, this rule seems to be difficult for the teachers to be done since writing scientific papers is a big professional challenge for most school teachers. At SMK Wahidin Cirebon, West Java, Indonesia, for example, a vocational school in Cirebon, West Java, Indonesia, there was found that the teachers are still clueless and negligent in writing the article. Therefore, that situation triggered the research team (the writers) to give the workshop on how to write the scientific papers, especially writing the abstract. Furthermore, to evaluate the teachers’ writing ability, this paper was written to investigate the syntactical errors made by the teachers of Indonesian Vocational School ‘SMK Wahidin’ in writing abstract for a scientific paper. It involved 8 abstracts which were written by the teachers at SMK Wahidin. The data were collected by observation and documentation, and then analyzed using Syntactic theory proposed by Radford (2004) that was developed from the Chomsky’s theory. The research results show that the dominant syntactical errors made by the teachers are syntactical errors in using the verbs. Meanwhile, the factors that influenced the teachers’ syntactical errors are mother tongue interference and unawareness of the grammatical rules.

Abstract

This community service activity (PKM) was carried out to provide class XII students at SMAN 1, Jamblang, Cirebon Regency with an understanding and knowledge of the TOEFL. This is because many of the students do not know what TOEFL is, what is the importance of TOEFL, what are the forms of TOEFL, and what are the strategies for answering TOEFL questions. The methods used in this training are lectures, discussions, and exercises. The results of the activity showed that students in class XII at SMAN 1 Jamblang Cirebon Regency gained additional insight and knowledge about the TOEFL

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi di Era Modern saat ini memiliki dampak yang sangat besar bagi suatu perusahaan dalam menjalankan bisnisnya.pasar yang akan semakin terbuka luas, tetapi persaingan akan semakin kentar antar sama lain dan akan sulit untuk diprediksi. Di Era Modern saat ini teknologi khususnya internet sudah menjadi kebutuhan bagi umat manusia saat ini bagi setiap kalangan masyarakat menggunakan terbukti dengan Tingginya penggunaan internet di saja Pada tahun 2021 penggunaan banyaknya pemakai internet di Indonesia berjumlah 202,6 juta. Penelitian ini memiliki sebesar 149 responden yang diambil dari konsumen yang sedang berlangganan MNC Play Bandung khususnya untuk Kota Bandung TImur. Jenis penelitian yang akan digunakan penulis dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian asosiatif yaitu untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dua variabel atau lebih.Sebuah Kualitas Pelayanan adalah tingkat kelebihan diharapkan atas pengendalian tingkat keunggulan tersebut memenuhi keinginan konsumen Dan juga mengatasi variabel di peneliti ini digunakannya uji validasi, uji linear berganda, uji F, UJi T dan Uji koefisien determinasi Berdasarkan dari hasil dari analisis Linear berganda dalam penelitian ini penulis untuk judul “ Pengaruh Kepuasaan Konsumen atas Kualitas Pelayanan terhadap Loyalitas Konsumen MNC Play Bandung” variabel Kepuasaan Konsumen (X1) & kepuasaan konsumen ( X2) terhadap loyalitas konsumen (Y) memiliki nilai persamaan Y= 1,155 + 0,423X1 + 0,415 X2. Dan Hasil Pengujian Hipotesis Uji F memiliki hasil Fhitung 41,087 > Ftabel 3,94, Maka dapat disimpulkan Kepuasaan Konsumen (X1) dan Kualitas Pelayanan (X20 itu berpengaruh terhadap Loyalitas konsumen (Y) untuk sebuah untuk perusahaan MNC Play Bandung

Abstract

This community service activity aims to train class XII students of SMAN 11 Garut on the benefits of the Duolingo application, which can be used as a tool for teaching and learning English. The method used in this activity is in the form of training and mentoring. The training and assistance provided in this activity use the Duolingo smartphone application. This service activity provides much pedagogical knowledge to class XII students and English teachers at SMAN 11 Garut so that they can learn or teach English in a fun way using the Duolingo application. Class XII students at SMAN 11 Garut said that the Duolingo application as an educational application is very useful when used in teaching and learning English in class

Abstract

The evolving techniques of online-based learning place a demand on learning English via technology media. An alternative for learning English is through Duolingo media. The purpose of this study is to learn how to use Duolingo media to help students learn English more effectively. A qualitative methodology and action research in the classroom design were employed in this study. This research was conducted at SMAN 11 Garut, involving 50 students. Data was obtained from the results of observations, interviews, and tests. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in students' ability to learn English by using Duolingo media.

Abstract

Many applications and algorithms that were previously impossible to perform on a notebook, computer, or mobile phone may now be readily implemented thanks to growing sophisticated technology and increasingly powerful processing capabilities on computers. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is one technology that is gaining popularity for a variety of applications. To increase hearing impaired knowledge of English, an effective learning technique is required. One method is to apply artificial intelligence to a technology-based learning medium, such as Kahoot. The purpose of this study is to examine the efficiency of teachers in using English learning media based on Artificial Intelligence Kahoot at SDLB B Budi Nurani in Sukabumi City. This research employs a qualitative approach. Several teachers and students participated in this study. Data was collected through interviews, observation, and documentation and was processed descriptively and interpretively. The findings indicated that using Kahoot as a medium for learning English increased students' motivation and grasp of the English subject matter.
