Abstract

Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a chronic and recurrent skin inflammation, accompanied by itching, occurs in certain predilection sites and is based on the presence of an inherited inherited hypersensitivity. This dermatitis is the most common form of dermatitis in infants and children. Other names are atopic eczema, dermatitis eczema, Besnier's prurigo and neurodermatitis. Dermatitis can occur for years, even for life, often recurring and interfering with daily activities due to intense itching. Knowing the effect of giving extra virgin olive oil on wound healing (degree of inflammation) in atopic dermatitis patients, the type of research used was pre-experimental because it revealed a cause-and-effect relationship involving only one group of subjects. so there's no control. strict on variables. The type of research design chosen was The One Group Pratest Posttest, which is an experimental design that was carried out in one group without a comparison group. This model has used a pre-test (pratest) then after being given treatment, a measurement (posttest) is carried out again to determine the consequences of the treatment, so that it can be seen the magnitude of the effect of the experiment. The results of the study can be interpreted that before being given olive oil most (75%) of the respondents had a severe degree of dermatitis and after being given olive oil half (50%) of the respondents had a mild degree of dermatitis, and half (50%) of the respondents had a moderate degree of dermatitis. It can be seen that the Z value is -4.916 with a significance of p = 0.000, so H0 is rejected so that H1 is accepted, which means that there is a difference in the degree of dermatitis before and after being given olive oil. Virgine Olive Oil Can Be Used As A Non-pharmacological Therapy In Overcoming The Degrees Of Atopic Dermatitis Both In Public Health Centers And Networks And In Hospitals

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of teachers in developing the creativity of fifth grade students through art activities in elementary schools. Teachers act as educators, tutors, mentors, motivators and evaluators who create creative and innovative learning. Fine arts education is oriented towards developing creative thinking abilities, creative skills and art appreciation. Supporting factors in the form of infrastructure, school culture, the role of teachers, and extracurricular activities can increase student creativity. However, there are obstacles such as limited facilities, teacher competence, family support, and curriculum time. Solutions include collaboration with the arts community, teacher training, parent education, and integration of the arts in other subjects.

Abstract

Stunting is caused by multi-dimensional factors and not only caused by malnutrition which is experienced by pregnant women and children under five. The most decisive intervention to reduce the prevalence of stunting can be started in the first 1,000 days of life (HPK) of children under five. Lamongan is one of 5 regencies in East Java which has a high stunting rate of 27.5%. Community service activities are carried out to help reduce stunting rates in Lamongan, especially Cangkring Village, this activity is carried out in line with the Lamongan government program, namely providing counseling to parents who have toddlers, as well as parents who will have children. The number of participants who took part in this activity was 28 people. This activity began with counseling on the stunting response by paying attention to toddler nutrition and pregnant women's nutrition followed by demonstrations of making stunting-free food made from catfish which is easily available in Lamongan. Community Service activities carried out at the Cangkring Village Hall resulted in increased public knowledge about stunting and nutritious food as seen from the results of the questionnaires before and after counseling. Increasing public knowledge about stunting and how to prevent stunting in children is expected to be able to minimize the potential for stunting in children in Indonesia, especially in Cangkring Village, Bluluk District, Lamongan.

Abstract

Washing Hands with Soap (CTPS) is a form of Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) to prevent and control diarrhea and typhoid infections, especially in children. The incidence of diarrhea and typhoid infections in children is still high. Hand hygiene is one factor in preventing the transmission of diarrhea and typhoid infections through food handled with dirty hands. The healthy behavior of washing hands with soap, which is one of the Clean and Healthy Living Behaviors (PHBS), has now become a global concern, this is because the problem of lack of practice of hand washing behavior does not only occur in developing countries, but also in other countries. Therefore, hand washing training is needed for posyandu cadres as an intermediary for achieving PHBS through washing hands with soap.

Abstract

Stunting is a persistent public health problem in Indonesia, particularly in rural communities, and is influenced by caregiving practices and dietary patterns. This study aimed to analyze the association between parenting practices, supplementary feeding (PMT), and the incidence of stunting among children aged 6–59 months in Gedungboyountung Village. A cross-sectional analytic design was conducted from June to August 2025 with 60 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Parenting and feeding practices were assessed using structured questionnaires, while stunting was determined based on height-for-age z-scores. Data were analyzed using the Chi-square test. The findings showed that 8.3% (5 children) were stunted. A significant association was observed between parenting practices and stunting (p = 0.028), indicating that children raised with poor parenting were more likely to be stunted. Supplementary feeding was also significantly associated with stunting (p = 0.014), with inappropriate or low-quality feeding practices increasing the risk of growth faltering. These results suggest that stunting in rural areas is strongly linked to behavioral and caregiving factors, especially the adequacy of food provision and the quality of parenting.  Strengthening community-based health education programs to improve parenting skills and ensure appropriate supplementary feeding may serve as effective strategies to reduce stunting prevalence. Further studies with larger sample sizes and longitudinal approaches are recommended to confirm these findings and to explore additional determinants such as socioeconomic conditions, maternal education, and sanitation.
