Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan sebuat studi kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengekplorasi karakteristik anak dengan kecenderungan hiperaktif, strategi, dan kendala yang dihadapi guru dalam membantu anak-anak tersebut. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa anak dengan kecenderungan hiperaktif memiliki karakteristik sulit berkonsentrasi dan duduk diam, mudah bosan dan teralihkan perhatiannya, dan memiliki kecenderungan mengganggu anak lain. Beberapa strategi yang dapat dilakukan untuk membantu anak-anak tersebut adalah penataan tempat duduk yang sesuai, teguran yang proporsional, kontrak belajar, dan pengawasan perilaku secara terus menerus. Kendala yang dihadapi guru dalam menerapkan strategi-strategi tersebut adalah keterbatasan kompetensi guru dalam membantu anak dengan kecenderungan hiperaktif, keterbatasan pilihan media pembelajaran, dan tidak tersedianya guru pendamping. Hasil ini menunjukkan pentingnya kompetensi guru dalam membantu anak dengan kecenderungan hiperaktif atau anak berkebutuhan khusus secara umum, kompetensi guru dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran, dan ketersediaan guru pendamping.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah masih belum optimalnya perilaku prososial anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Islam Baitussalam dan TKQ Al-Abror. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana perilaku prososial anak usia dini, upaya guru dalam mengembangkan perilaku prososial anak usia dini, dan efektivitas permainan tradisional Tong Mali Maliatong dalam upaya menstimulus perilaku prososial anak usia 5-6 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan: 1) kondisi perilaku prososial anak melalui permainan tradisional Tong Mali Maliatong mengalami perkembangan yang optimal, 2) upaya guru dalam menstimulus perilaku prososial melalui permainan Tong Mali Maliatong dengan memberikan, reward dan pujian,juga games kepada anak agar anak termotivasi dalam mengembangkan perilaku prososial, 3) faktor pendukung keberhasilan peran guru dan orang tua dalam memberikan bimbingan pada saat di rumah atau pun di sekolah, 4) Kesesuaian antara pencapaian perilaku prososial anak usia 5-6 tahun dengan standar yang berlaku setelah diberikan stimulus melalui permainan tradisional di TK Islam Baitussalam dan TKQ Al-Abror sudah berjalan baik dan optimal.

Abstract

Tulisan ini merupakan hasil dari kegiatan seminar mengenai peningkatan pemahaman guru PAUD tentang kebencanaan melalui pembelajaran sains. Dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya pengetahuan kebencanaan para guru PAUD dan terkait dengan penyampaian materi terkait kebencanaan pada siswa di sekolah. Tujuan diadakan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan para guru PAUD melalui pemberian informasi mengenai kebencanaan, yang disampaikan dalam bentuk pembelajaran sains untuk anak usia dini. Seminar ini merupakan bagian dari kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat yang diselenggarakan oleh Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini bekerja sama dengan Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (LPPM) Universitas Islam Nusantara Bandung. Dari hasil kuesioner pada akhir kegiatan, nampak bahwa pengetahuan kebencanaan para guru mengalami peningkatan, Diharapkan kegiatan ini nantinya akan memberikan kontribusi pada program mitigasi bencana di sekolah khususnya dan masyarakat tanggap bencana umumnya.

Abstract

Children are a budding nation that will continue the ideals of the Indonesian nation, so the education of children in the family is important, in order to create quality for future generations. Parenting in the home can affect the development and growth of children, so the family to be the beginning of character education for children. Housing Complex Environmental Transport Department of Military Region (Hubdam) III Regional Military Command (KODAM) Siliwangi potentially give birth to children of noble character and intelligent. But so far there are still many children who fail to thrive well, especially in the social aspects of emotional. This is the impact of the lack of family-based education. Therefore parenting program aims to improve the quality of family communication at home, is also able to provide knowledge for all members of the Union of Soldiers Wife Kartika Chandra Kirana (PERSIT) in HUBDAM III / Siliwangi to further improve the education of the best character of the house.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemahaman orang tua siswa taman kanak-kanak tentang gizi seimbang, Metode penelitian dilakukan dengan metode survey menggunakan angket . Teknik pengambilan sampling dengan metode purposive sampling, yaitu orang tua yang menyekolahkan anaknya di taman kanak-kanak kelompok A (4-5 tahun). Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa pada umumnya orang tua siswa memiliki pemahaman yang merata mengenai gizi seimbang. Pengetahuan gizi seimbang yang dimiliki orang tua menguraikan sikap orang tua terhadap perilaku mengkonsumsi gizi seimbang yang belum sepenuhnya diwujudkan, kemudian norma subjektif setuju maupun tidak setuju yang diyakini oleh orang tua terkait dengan perilaku tersebut , dan persepsi orang tua terhadap kontrol yang dimiliki mereka terkait dengan perilaku mengonsumsi gizi seimbang dipengaruhi oleh factor kebiasaan makan, pengetahuan gizi yang belum seimbang dengan aplikasinya dan pemilihan makan yang disesuaikan dengan kondisi material dan immaterial dari setiap orang tua siswa tersebut.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menelaah penelitian-penelitian sebelumnya mengenai integrasi pengenalan budaya Sunda dalam pembelajaran di tingkat anak usia dini. Adapun literatur-literatur yang dimasukkan dalam penelitian ini adalah literatur berbentuk artikel yang dipublikasikan antara rentang waktu 2019-2022. Pencarian dalam database Google Scholar  memunculkan sejumlah 787 literatur, dan hanya 9 artikel jurnal yang dipilih untuk dimasukkan dalam penelitian ini. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, elemen-elemen dari budaya Sunda yang sudah dikenalkan dalam pembelajaran di kalangan anak usia dini, di antaranya, adalah bahasa Sunda, alat transportasi tradisional, alat bertani tradisional, tarian dan permainan tradisional, serta seni tradisional. Pengenalan budaya Sunda tersebut diintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran yang bertujuan meningkatkan keterampilan anak dalam aspek-aspek perkembangan tertentu, yaitu bahasa, fisik motorik, kognitif, dan sosial emosional. Mempertimbangkan karakter pendidikan anak usia dini yang holistik integratif, pengenalan budaya Sunda memiliki potensi untuk diintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran yang menargetkan peningkatan beberapa aspek perkembangan anak secara simultan.

Abstract

This experimental research investigated the effect of performance anticipation on students recognition in the context of online learning. Data were collected through online presentation via Zoom and analyzed with between-participants posttest-only control group design. The data collected comprised 69 students aged 17 to 20 years with mean and SD of 18.09 years and 0.59, respectively. The confederate, experimental, and control groups conducted the presentation in the first, second, and zero order. The results showed a significant difference between the control and experimental groups in recognition scores (p = .011), which decreased performance anticipation of student’s recognition ability in online learning contexts. The findings can be utilized by educators to design learning scenarios needed to optimize students understanding of presentation materials and lectures. Furthermore, presentations should be scheduled at the beginning of the class and limited to one per session.

Abstract

This study examines the phenomenon of eating disorders, specifically anorexia, and bulimia, from an Islamic legal perspective with two main objectives: first, to identify awareness, familiarity, and experience of eating disorders among Muslims; second, to obtain an interpretation of Islamic law on eating disorders; The research method is qualitative with case study approach, involving six key informants consisting of one patient of anorexia nervosa, one patient of bulimia nervosa, and four patients of binge eating. The results show that awareness of eating disorders among Muslims is still limited, with many individuals and families not fully understanding the medical and psychological nature of these conditions. From an Islamic legal perspective, eating disorders are understood as conditions that require serious attention, in accordance with the principle of maqāṣid syarī’ah which emphasizes the importance of maintaining physical and mental health. However, there is still a lack of specific Islamic legal guidance related to eating disorders. The role of family and religious leaders is very important in providing support but still needs to be improved to reduce stigma and facilitate treatment. In conclusion, eating disorders require a holistic approach, combining professional help, family support, and a faith-based approach to improve the well-being of patients. This study opens up opportunities for further studies involving cross-disciplinary perspectives and focusing on the development of Islamic guidelines related to eating disorders.

Abstract

Behaviorism, psychoanalysis, and humanism are three distinct theoretical paradigms in psychology. Each paradigm provides valuable insights and has important implications for psychological research and practice. Understanding the philosophical differences between the three is essential to apply them appropriately both in research and practice. This study aims to examine the ontological and epistemological foundations of the three paradigms, as well as their opportunities and limitations in psychological research and practice. The methodology used is a literature review. The results of this study describe the ontological assumptions of behaviorism, which is based on materialism and environmental determinism; psychoanalysis, which is rooted in transcendental idealism and psychic determinism; and humanism, which emphasizes free will and subjective experience. In terms of epistemology, this study explains that behaviorism adopts an empiricist approach (logical positivism), humanism uses phenomenology, and psychoanalysis uses hermeneutics or epistemological modesty. The differences in the three paradigms' philosophical foundations have implications for each paradigm's opportunities and limitations in psychological research and practice.

Abstract

Preparedness of all components of the school community, including teachers, is essential to build a school's resilience to disasters. This study aims to: (1) examine the geological disaster preparedness level of Early Childhood Education (ECE) teachers in Cisompet District, Garut Regency, and (2) investigate the effectiveness of education on geological disaster preparedness for ECE teachers. This descriptive quantitative study involved 86 ECE teachers recruited using convenient sampling. Data collection was carried out using a pre-test and post-test questionnaire. The results revealed that the teachers' geological disaster preparedness index was 68.94 (ready), which comprised parameters of knowledge and attitudes, emergency response plans, disaster warning systems, and resource mobilization. A geological disaster preparedness education program was conducted for ECE teachers, covering types of geological disasters, potential disasters in Cisompet District, and the establishment of disaster-safe schools. Based on the increase in the percentage of correct answers between the pre-test and post-test, the geological disaster preparedness education for ECE teachers was deemed relatively effective. However, the study found that there is no disaster warning system in either schools or community areas, despite the high disaster risk index. Follow-up activities, particularly through hands-on practice such as disaster evacuation simulations, formulating school disaster contingency plans, and developing learning innovations with disaster content for young children, are still needed.
