Abstract

Recently, there are so many soft computing methods been used in time series analysis. One of these methods is fuzzy logic system. In this paper, we will try to implement fuzzy logic system to predict a non-stationary time series data. The data we use here is Mackey-Glass chaotic time series. We also use MATLAB software to predict the time series data, which have been divided into four groups of input-output pairs. These groups then will be used as the input variables of the fuzzy logic system. There are two scenarios been used in this paper, first is by using seven fuzzy sets, and second is by using fifteen fuzzy sets. The result shows that the fuzzy system with fifteen fuzzy sets give a better forecasting result than the fuzzy system with seven fuzzy sets. Abstract

Wavelet atau gelombang pendek biasa digunakan dalam analisa sinyal, analisa numeris, maupun sistem kendali. Dalam penerapannya di analisis sinyal, wavelet dapat diterapkan untuk menganalisis citra dua dimensi dengan tujuan merekonstruksi citra dalam ukuran yang lebih kecil. Berbagai perangkat lunak juga telah mendukung analisa wavelet untuk pemrosesan sinyal ini, salah satunya wavelet toolbox dari MATLAB. Pada tulisan ini, penulis mencoba untuk merekonstruksi sebuah citra dua dimensi dengan analisis wavelet menggunakan MATLAB. Index Terms—wavelet transform, citra photo, 2D, MATLAB

Abstract

Jaringan saraf tiruan merupakan salah satu metode soft computing yang banyak digunakan dan diterapkan di berbagai disiplin ilmu, termasuk analisis data runtun waktu. Tujuan utama dari analisis data runtun waktu adalah untuk memprediksi data runtun waktu yang dapat digunakan secara luas dalam berbagai data runtun waktu real, termasuk data harga saham. Banyak peneliti yang telah berkontribusi dalam analisis data runtun waktu dengan menggunakan berbagai pendekatan berbeda. Chen dan Hsu, Jilani dkk., Stevenson dan Porter, dan Hansun telah menggunakan metode fuzzy time series untuk meramalkan data mendatang, sementara beberapa peneliti lainnya menggunakan metode hibrid, seperti yang dilakukan oleh Subanar dan Suhartono, Popoola dkk, Popoola, Hansun dan Subanar. Di dalam penelitian ini, penulis mencoba untuk menerapkan metode jaringan saraf tiruan backpropagation pada salah satu indikator perubahan harga saham, yakni IHSG (Indeks Harga Saham Gabungan). Penelitian dilanjutkan dengan menghitung tingkat akurasi dan kehandalan metode yang telah diterapkan pada data IHSG. Pendekatan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi salah satu cara alternatif dalam meramalkan data IHSG sebagai salah satu indikator perubahan harga saham di Indonesia. Abstract

Nowadays, e-commerce and e-business have increasingly become a necessary component of business strategy. It’s also become a strong catalyst for economic development. We can see it through the report given by various authors [1, 2, 3]. Gamification, on the other hand, is a new term used to describe the using of game elements and game design techniques in other non-game areas/activities, such as business, education, health, politics, etc [4]. Gamification studies and improvements also take place on the e-commerce fields, as we can see on some e-commerce sites, such as ebay, foursquare, amazon gold box, and salesforce.com which has implement the gamification concept on their sites. On this paper, we will explore this new paradigm on e-media business: the usage of gamification concept on e-commerce field. Is it possible? What are the advantages? And what are the disadvantages? Abstract

One of the most popular technical indicator used in time series analysis for predicting future data is the Moving Average method. During its’ development, many variation and implementation have been made by researchers, one of them is the Weighted Exponential Moving Average (WEMA) which is introduced by Hansun.In this paper, we will try to implement the WEMA method on one of stock market change indicator in Indonesia, i.e. the Jakarta Stock Exchange (JKSE) composite index data. The research is continued by calculating the accuracy and robustness of WEMA method, using MSE and MAPE criteria. The result shows that the WEMA method can be used to predict JKSE data and it’s quite accurate. Kata kunci—time series analysis, JKSE, moving average, WEMA

Abstract

Beauty is a precious asset for everyone. Everyone wants to have a healthy face. Unfortunately, there are always those problems that pops out on its own. For example, acnes, freckles, wrinkles, dull, oily and dry skin. Therefore, nowadays, there are a lot of beauty clinics available to help those who wants to solve their beauty troubles. But, not everyone can enjoy the facilities of those beauty clinics, for example those in the suburbs. The uneven distribution of doctors and the expensive cost of treatments are some of the reasons. In this research, the system that could help the patients to find the solution of their beauty problems is built. The decision tree method is used to take decision based on the shown schematic. Abstract

Graduation Information is important for Universitas Multimedia Nusantara which engaged in education. The data of graduated students from each academic year is an important part as a source of information to make a decision for BAAK (Bureau of Academic and Student Administration). With this information, a prediction can be made for students who are still active whether they can graduate on time, fast, late or drop out with the implementation of data mining. The purpose of this study is to make a prediction of students’ graduation with C4.5 algorithm as a reference for making policies and actions of academic fields (BAAK) in reducing students who graduated late and did not pass. From the research, the category of IPS semester one to semester six, gender, origin of high school, and number of credits, can predict the graduation of students with conditions quickly pass, pass on time, pass late and drop out, using data mining with C4.5 algorithm. Category of semester six is the highly influential on the predicted outcome of graduation. With the application test result, accuracy of the graduation prediction acquired is 87.5%. Abstract

This study discusses about the features on healthy food, especially for people with chronic diseases such as patients with diabetes, obesity, hypertension, heart, liver cirrhosis, ulcers, tuberculosis, lung cancer, gout and kidney. The purpose of this research is to implement the Rete’s algorithm on healthy food recommendation application that everyone who has a less than ideal body weight and who suffers a chronic illness get food recommendations that can help the healing process. This study involves an expert, the specialist dietician who practices in hospitals. The result of this study is that users can get recommendations tailored healthy foodstuffs with his/her illness. Abstract

Delivery of goods will normally be conducted in accordance with the queuing time of booking. Sometimes, it is inefficient and results in a delay on the delivery of goods. Therefore, to make a better scheduling system, the Shortest Job First and Round Robin algorithms been implemented. From the results of experiments, Shortest Job First and Round Robin algorithms successfully applied to the scheduling delivery application. Shortest Job First algorithm is better than Round Robin scheduling in the case of delivery of goods, because the algorithm execution process which takes small time will be moved before the process which takes much time, so it needs smaller time than using Round Robin algorithm.
