Abstract

Porang merupakan tanaman umbi yang memiliki nilai ekonomi dan permintaan yang tinggi di pasar luar negeri. Penelitian mengkaji profitabilitas usaha porang yang dijalankan oleh CV Porang Center Indo Sedan, Rembang selama 3 periode. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis besarnya biaya produksi, penerimaan dan profitabilitas usaha porang CV Porang Center Indo Sedan, Rembang. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode studi kasus. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis kuantitatif. Analisis kuantitatif yang digunakan berupa analisis biaya produksi, penerimaan, profitabilitas dan rasio profitabilitas GPM, NPM, ROI dan ROE. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh hasil bahwa jumlah biaya produksi dan penerimaan dari tahun 2019-2021 mengalami kenaikan dengan nilai secara berturut–turut yaitu Rp17.387.484.000,00; Rp18.072.796.000,00 dan Rp18.290.157.600,00 untuk biaya produksi serta Rp22.136.400.000,00; Rp23.234.640.000,00 dan Rp23.454.288.000,00 untuk penerimaan. Hasil analisis profitabilitas menunjukkan usaha porang yang dijalankan dalam keadaan menguntungkan. Hasil analisis rasio profitabilitas yang dihasilkan secara umum menunjukkan perusahaan dalam kondisi baik. Perkembangan nilai ROI dan ROE dari tahun 2019–2021 terus menurun menandakan semakin menurunnya efisiensi perusahaan dalam menjalankan kegiatan operasionalnya.Kata kunci: biaya produksi, penerimaan, profitabilitas, porang

Abstract

ENGLISHChicken meat has a significant role to fulfill community nutrition needs, especially animal protein. The study aimed to describe the charactheristic of consumers and the decision making process of purchasing broiler chicken meat and to analyze the influencing factors on consumer decisions in chicken meat broiler purchase at Puri Traditional Market, Pati District. The factors were analyzed in this study are cultural, social, personal, price, quality and location. Data collection was carried out in March-April 2021, located in Pasar Puri, Pati District. The number of sample was 100 people whom were chosen through accidental sampling method. The data were collected through observation, questionnaires and interviews. Then they were analyzed using multiple linear regressions. The results of the study were (1) Majority samples were women aged 17-25 years old; (2) Most of them have finished high school or bachelor degree and worked as enterprisers. The monthly expense for broiler chicken meat ranged Rp100.000,00 to Rp500.000,00; (2) simultaneously, cultural, social, personal, price, product quality, and location factors had significant effects on consumer decisions in broiler chicken meat purchases; (3) meanwhile the factors partially influenced the consumer behaviours were social factors, price, product quality, and location. INDONESIADaging ayam berperan penting dalam pemenuhan gizi masyarakat, khususnya protein hewani. Konsumsi daging ayam yang relatif masih rendah dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menggambarkan karakteristik konsumen dan proses pengambilan keputusan pembelian daging ayam broiler dan menganalisis pengaruh faktor budaya, sosial, pribadi, harga, kualitas, dan lokasi terhadap keputusan konsumen saat membeli daging ayam broiler di Pasar Tradisional Puri, Kecamatan Pati, Kabupaten Pati. Pengambilan data dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret-April 2021. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 100 orang yang dipilih dengan metode aksidental. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, penyebaran kuesioner, dan wawancara. Data yang diperoleh selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan uji regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) Responden penelitian didominasi oleh perempuan yang berusia 17-25 tahun. Tingkat pendidikan sebagian besar responden adalah SMA dan S1 dengan pekerjaan wiraswasta. Sebagian besar responden mengeluarkan biaya Rp100.000,00 hingga Rp500.000,00 untuk membeli daging ayam setiap bulannya; (2) Secara simultan faktor budaya, sosial, pribadi, harga, kualitas produk dan lokasi berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap keputusan konsumen dalam pembelian daging ayam broiler ; (3) sementara itu, secara parsial faktor yang berpengaruh adalah faktor sosial, harga, kualitas produk, dan lokasi.

Abstract

The existence of different characteristics in each generation encourage producers to stay updated on consumer preferences. This study aimed to analyze the characteristics and preferences of Generation Z consumers for UHT Ultra Milk Flavor. The research was conducted in August – November 2022 using a case study. The sampling method was a purposive sampling of 150 respondents, aged 18-22 years who had consumed Ultra Milk Flavor and purchased at least once in the last week, with pocket money. Data was collected online using Google Forms and then analyzed by descriptive analysis and conjoint analysis. The results showed that Generation Z consumers were dominated by women and the majority of students aged 20 years, with income levels ranging from >IDR 500.000 to IDR 1.000.000, and aware of drinking milk. The type of milk consumed the most is UHT milk with a frequency of purchase of once a week at a minimarket, and is familiar with the use of social media. Overall, the preference for UHT Ultra Milk Flavor is chocolate with 250 ml packaging, price of ≤IDR 5.000 with the most prioritized taste attribute. These findings suggest that milk producers can maintain, improve, and innovate flavors.

Abstract

Farmers, producers, and other parties involved in the agricultural production chain of vegetable commodities place a high value on knowing consumer preferences when making decisions on developing and manufacturing agricultural food products. This study aims to investigate consumer behavior and identify information on consumer preferences for both fresh and processed (frozen) potatoes. The study was conducted in Semarang City, using a survey method. Purposive sampling method was employed to recruit 100 respondents, aged above 21 years, residents of Semarang City, and had consumed at least fresh and/or frozen potatoes in the last month. A questionnaire using Google Forms was employed to gather data online. It was distributed via social media platforms. The data collected was analyzed by descriptive and conjoint analysis. The results showed that the most frequent consumption was once a week with regular types of fresh potatoes being consumed; the respondents' spending on potato consumption was ≤ IDR 25,000/ month, and they consumed ≤2 kg of potatoes per week. Potato consumer preferences showed that the fresh potato attributes most liked by consumers are large tuber size, smooth skin, and ≤5 lateral buds, with the number of lateral bud attributes being the most prioritized. The most preferred attributes for frozen potatoes are a straight form, priced at IDR 39,000 to 58,000, batter-coated flavor, 801-1000 gr size packaging, and branded, with the shape attribute being the most prioritized. These findings suggest that farm producers can develop innovative potato varieties with fewer lateral buds and shapes for frozen potatoes.

Abstract

The study aimed to 1). analyze the GRDP trends of the agricultural sector in Central Java Province, 2). analyze the contribution of each agricultural subsector to the formation of the agricultural sector GRDP in Central Java Province 3). analyze each district/city's contribution to the formation of the agricultural sector GRDP in Central Java Province. The research was carried out in February-March 2022 in Central Java Province. Secondary data method were used in the research. The data were obtained from Central Bureau of Statistics. Time series data on agricultural sector GRDP in Central Java Province during 2011-2020 were being used in the study. The least quadratic method were used to analyze the GRDP trends, completed with a line graph prediction of the trends. The agricultural subsector contribution analysis was conducted by calculating the contribution between the total GRDP of the agricultural subsector and the total GRDP of the agricultural sector of Central Java during Years 2011-2020. The analysis of the contribution of the district/city agricultural sector was conducted by calculating the contribution between the total GRDP of each district/city and the total GRDP of the agricultural sector of Central Java during 2011-2020. The results of the study show that the graph formed by the trend increases. The results of the agricultural subsector's contribution analysis showed that the largest contribution contributed by the food crop subsector with 34.59%, while the smallest contributed by agricultural and hunting service activities with 1.94%. The results of the contribution analysis showed that the largest contribution contributed by Brebes County with 9.02%, while the smallest contributed by Magelang City with 0.09%. In conclusion, the GRDP of the agricultural sector in Central Java Province has been on the rise and is forecast to continue to increase.

Abstract

The success measurement of a financial institution can be seen from the number of its members necessity are being met and its financial performance. One of the problems that makes it difficult for cooperatives to develop is financial management. The research aimed to 1). To find out the role of the Gardu Tani Multi-stakeholder Cooperative in helping farmers to access their farming needs, 2). Compare the financial performance of the Gardu Tani Multi-stakeholder Cooperative before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research was conducted in January – February 2022 at the Gardu Tani Multi-stakeholder Cooperative. The survey method is research carried out using questionnaires as a research tool taken from samples in a population. The data used is primary data obtained from interviews with respondents and secondary data obtained from books, journals and previous reports. Data were analysed using financial ratio analysis. Independent sample t test was conducted to test the hypothesis of the second research goals. The results are based first object showed that the role of the Gardu Tani Multi-stakeholder Cooperative in helping farmers are as followed: as a provider of production inputs; provider of agricultural equipment; provider of agricultural information, financing farming business, marketer, and promotion agent as well as money saving activities. Financial performance based on liquidity and solvency ratios were found in good criteria. Meanwhile, rentability ratios were found in poor criteria. The results of the independent sample t test on the current ratio, solvability ratios and rentability ratios showed there are no differences in financial performance before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. Furthermore, the result of the Mann-Whitney test on the quick ratio also found there are no differences in financial performance before and during the Covid-19 pandemic

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze factors that influence the production of spring onions in Sidomukti Village, Bandungan District, Semarang Regency. Research was conducted in January 2022 – February 2022 in Sidomukti Village, Bandungan District, Semarang Regency. The research method was a survey method. Sample was determined by simple random sampling method with the number of respondents as many as 52 onion farmers. The method of data collection was carried out by structured interviews using a questionnaire. Data were analysed using descriptive analysis method and then followed by multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the average yield produced by farmers in Sidomukti Village was 767 kg/planting season with an average land area of ​​3446 m2. Factors of land area, seeds, fertilizers, and labor simultaneously affect production. Variations in the value of the variables of land area, seeds, fertilizer, and labor were able to explain the variation in the production value of 65,3%, the remaining 34,7% was explained by variables outside the model. The production factors of land area and seeds partially have a significant effect on the production of leek farming, while the production factors of fertilizers and labor partially have no significant effect on the production of leeks in the research area

Abstract

Farming activities are a source of farmers' income and are expected to be profitable or provide maximum profits to implement business sustainability. The aim research was to analyze the profitability and factors that influence the income of rice farming in Selogiri. The study was conducted from January – March 2022. The research location was in Selogiri District, Wonogiri Regency, which was chosen purposively because it has the highest rice area in Wonogiri Regency. Survey methods were used in the research, with 96 farmers selected as respondents. The types of data used were primary and secondary. Preliminary data were taken from interviews with farmers in Selogiri District consisting of production costs, investment, and respondent data. Secondary data were of BPS data, journals, and literacy taken from the internet, including the research location's general condition, population data, maps, and bank deposit interest rates. Data were analyzed by analyzing profitability and multiple linear regression analysis. They showed that farming is profitable, with a profitability value of 77.86% and a BRI bank interest rate of 2.3%. Prices of seeds, fertilizers, pesticide labor wages, irrigation prices, and land rents simultaneously affect income. In contrast, fertilizer prices, labor wages, and irrigation prices partially affect income.

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hubungan paritas, lingkar dada dan umur kebuntingan dengan produksi susu. Penelitian telah dilaksanakan tanggal 28 Desember 2015-30 Maret 2016 di Balai Besar Pembibitan Ternak Unggul dan Hijauan Pakan Ternak Baturraden, Banyumas Jawa Tengah. Materi yang digunakan adalah 34 ekor sapi Friesian Holstein dalam masa laktasi bunting. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode observasional dengan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi dan uji korelasi dengan bantuan program SPSS versi 16. Variabel independen terdiri dari paritas, lingkar dada dan umur kebuntingan serta variabel dependen terdiri dari produksi susu rata- rata harian dan satu masa laktasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ukuran lingkar dada rata-rata dari paritas I sampai V berturut turut adalah 180 7,8 cm, 199 9,7 cm, 201 9,4 cm, 207 11,7 cm dan 200 4,2 cm. Produksi susu rata - rata satu masa laktasi 4025,2 + 1395,6 kg (13,2 4,6 kg/hari). Paritas, lingkar dada dan umur kebuntingan tidak memiliki hubungan yang nyata dengan produksi susu (p 0,05). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa produksi susu tidak memiliki hubungan dengan paritas, lingkar dada dan umur kebuntingan.(The relationship between parity, chest circumference and gestational age with milk yield of Friesian Holstein in BBPTU-HPT Baturraden)ABSTRACT. This study investigated the relationship between milk yield and parity, chest circumference, gestation age in lactating pregnant dairy cow. Research was conducted in December 28, 2015-March 30, 2016 at the Balai Besar Pembibitan Ternak Unggul dan Hijauan Pakan Ternak Baturraden, Banyumas, Central Java. Recording data from 34 pregnant dairy cows were used in this study. The observational method with purposive sampling technique was used. The data were analyzed using regression analysis and correlation with SPSS version 16. The independent variables were parity, chest circumference and gestation age, whereas the dependent variable was milk yield. The result showed that the chest circumference of the cow were 180 7,8 cm, 199 9,7 cm, 201 9,4 cm, 207 11,7 cm and 200 4,2 cm for the 1st to 5th parity, respectively. Total milk yield for 305 days of lactation period was 4025,2 1395,6 kg (13,2 4,6 kg/d). There were no significant correlations between parity, chest circumference and gestational age with milk yield (p0.05). It is suggested that milk yield is not strongly related to parity, chest circumference and gestational age.
