Abstract

The productivity of shallot in Grobogan Regency is still low because the use of superior varieties is limited. The deployment of superior shallot seed technology that profitable is widely unknown to farmers. This research aims to analyze the adoption rate of true shallot seed (TSS) technology and the influence of internal and external factors of onion farmers on the adoption of TSS technology. The study was conducted in Klambu District, Grobogan Regency from July to August 2017 by interviewing 100 farmers who selected using multistage sampling. Data were analyzed using the descriptive method and logistic regression. The results showed that the adoption rate of TSS technology in Klambu District, Grobogan Regency was in a high category. Farmer’s age, land tenure status, cosmopolitan rate, requency of interaction with extension agent, and institutional support significantly influenced TSS technology adoption.

Abstract

ABSTRAK                 Tujuanpenelitian adalahmengetahui beberapa pola saluran pemasaran dan  marjin serta efisiensi pemasaran ayam broiler di Kabupaten Grobogan. Penelitian dilaksanakanbulan Oktober sampai bulan November 2014di Kabupaten Grobogan.Metode yang digunakanadalah survei.Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi data primerdan data sekunder. Analisis data pola saluran pemasaran dibahas secara deskriptif dan pengujian marjin pemasaran tiap pola saluran pemasaran di uji dengan independent sample t test. Hasil penelitian adalah terdapat 3 pola saluran pemasaran yaitu: pola 1, produsen - inti - pedagang besar - pedagang pasar - pedagang eceran - konsumen; pola 2, produsen - inti - pedagang besar - pedagang pasar - konsumen; dan pola 3, produsen - inti - pedagang besar - konsumen.Rata-rata marjin pemasaran adalah pola 1 (panjang) Rp 13.951 sebesar 37,57%, pola 2 (sedang) Rp 11.262 sebesar 30,33 % dan pola 3 (pendek) Rp 11.918 sebesar 33,00%.Marjin pemasaran pola (1 dan 2) dan pola (1 dan 3) terdapat perbedaan antara tiap pola, sedangkan pola (2 dan 3) tidak terdapat perbedaan antara tiap pola. Kata Kunci: Pola saluran pemasaran; marjin pemasaran; efisiensi pemasaran ABSTRACT The aims of this study is to know about various patterns of marketing channel, margin and efficiency of marketing boiler chicken at Grobogan Regency. This study was carried out in October until November 2014 at Grobogan Regency. Collected data were includes the premiere data and secondary data. Data analysis of marketing channel pattern discussed in the descriptive and marketing margin testing each test pattern in the marketing channel with independent sample t test. Study result is 3 patterns of marketing channels this is pattern 1: producer-core-wholesalers-market traders-retailer-costumers. Pattern 2: producer-core-wholesalers-market traders-costumers.Pattern 3: producer-core-wholesalers- costumers. The average marketing margin is  pattern 1 (long) Rp 13.951 amount 37,57%, pattern 2 (medium) Rp 11.262 amount 30,33 % dan pola 3 (short) Rp 11.918 amount 33,00%. Marketing margin of pattern  (1 and 2) and pattern (1 and3). There is difference between each pattern. While the pattern (2 and 3) there is no difference between each pattern. Level marketing on each pattern is a pattern of 1 (long) marketing efficiency 53,50%, pattern 2 (medium) amount 58,51% and pattern 3 (short) amount 57,43% the result of relatively efficient because the efficiency of marketing said to be efficient because more than 40% the price level of costumers.Keywords: Pattern marketing; channels; margin

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kontribusi usahatani bawang merah terhadap pendapatan rumah tangga tani dan menganalisis pengaruh faktor-faktor harga bibit, harga pupuk urea, harga pupuk Phonska, harga pupuk ZA, harga pupuk SP-36, harga pupuk KCl, harga pestisida serta upah tenaga kerja terhadap pendapatan usahatani bawang merah. Penelitian dilasanakan pada bulan Maret dan Juli 2020 di Desa Kandangrejo Kecamatan Klambu, Kabupaten Grobogan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei dengan mengambil sampel 82 petani bawang merah dari 445 jumlah populasi. Metode analisis data menggunakan uji one sample t-test untuk menguji kontribusi usahatani bawang merah dan uji regresi linear berganda yang ditransformasikan ke persamaan fungsi keuntungan Cobb-Douglas Unit Output Price (UOP) untuk menguji faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pendapatan usahatani. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata pendapatan usahatani bawang merah sebesar Rp 59.646.928,- per 0,52 ha per musim tanam. Kontribusi usahatani bawang merah 60,33% dan termasuk kontribusi tinggi (> 50%). Faktor-faktor harga bibit, harga pupuk urea, harga pupuk Phonska, harga pupuk ZA, harga pupuk SP-36, harga pupuk KCl, harga pestisida dan upah tenaga kerja secara serempak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pendapatan usahatani bawang merah. Secara parsial variabel harga bibit, harga pupuk urea, harga pupuk Phonska, harga pupuk ZA dan upah tenaga kerja berpengaruh signfikan terhadap pendapatan usahatani bawang merah, sedangkan variabel harga pupuk SP-36, harga pupuk KCl dan harga pestisida tidak berpengaruh.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Keberlanjutan bisnis agrowisata perlu dipertahankan dengan menciptakan strategi pengembangan guna mengatasi ketidakpastian jumlah pengunjung. Strategi yang disusun diharapkan dapat meningkatkan jumlah kunjungan ke Agrowisata Jollong. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah merumuskan strategi alternatif yang dapat diterapkan dalam pengembangan Agrowisata Jollong. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Desember 2019 – Januari 2020 di Agrowisata Jollong dengan metode survei. Lokasi penelitian ditentukan secara purposive dengan alasan bahwa Agrowisata Jollong menjadi salah satu objek wisata populer di Kabupaten Pati yang menawarkan konsep wisata alam dan edukasi.  Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah 20 pengunjung Agrowisata Jollong, 3 orang perwakilan dari pengelola Agrowisata Jollong, 1 orang perwakilan dari Dinas Pariwisata Kabupaten Pati, 1 orang perwakilan dari PT. Perkebunan Nusantara (PTPN) IX dan Kepala Desa Sitiluhur, dipilih secara sengaja/purposive berdasarkan pertimbangan bahwa responden sampel penelitian berpengaruh terhadap perkembangan agrowisata dan paham dengan isi kuesioner. Metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunities and Threat). Hasil analisis SWOT menunjukkan bahwa posisi Agrowisata Jollong berada pada kuadran I artinya memiliki posisi internal dan eksternal yang kuat sehingga perlu dipertahankan. Pemilihan alternatif strategi yang dapat diterapkan yaitu strategi S-O (Strength-Opportunities) dengan  menonjolkan konsep back to nature sebagai daya tarik wisatawan dan memanfaatkan dukungan pemerintah dalam membuat jalur penghubung antara lahan Kebun Jollong ke Kebun Jurang guna memudahkan akses kunjungan wisatawan ke Agrowisata Jollong. Kata kunci: agrowisata, Jollong, strategi pengembangan, SWOT ABSTRACT The sustainability of the agro-tourism business needs to be maintained by creating a development strategy to overcome the uncertainty of the number of visitors. The strategy are formulated be expected to increase the number of visits to Jollong Agrotourism. The purpose of the research to make alternative strategies that can be applied in Jollong Agro-Tourism. The study was conducted in December 2019 - January 2020 in Jollong Agro Tourism, using survey method. The location of study was determined purposively based on Jollong Agro-tourism is one of the populer tourist object in Pati Regency that provided of nature and education learning concept. The sample used in the study were 20 visitors to Jollong Agro-Tourism, 3 representatives from management of Jollong Agro Tourism, 1 representative from Pati District Tourism Office, 1 representative from PT. Perkebunan Nusantara (PTPN) IX and Head of Sitiluhur Village, were chosen purposively based on the consideration that the research sample respondents affected the development of agrotourism and understood contents of questionnaire. Analytical method used is SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunities, Threat). SWOT analysis results show that Jollong Agro Tourism position is in quadrant I which means it has a strong internal and external position so it needs to be maintained. Selection of alternative strategies that can be applied is S-O (Strength-Opportunities) strategy by highlighting concept of back to nature as a tourist attraction and utilizing government support in making connecting path between the Kebun Jollong to Kebun Jurang fields to access Jollong Agrotourism easier. Keywords: agrotourism, Jollong, SWOT, the development strategy

Abstract

The price difference was received by farmers and the price was paid by consumers indicates that the price paid by consumers is not the price received by farmers. This study aims to analyze the price fluctuation and elasticity of price transmission potato in Magelang Regency. This research have secondary data during 156 weeks on 2016 until 2018. An instrument analyze used coefficient of variation for price fluctuation and simple linier regression for elasticity of price transmission. The results of research revealed that value coefficient of variation 15,70% this mean price fluctuation potato in Magelang Regency was high, and elasticity of price transmission potato was small (ƞ = 0,950) is inelastic (E <1) which means the sensitivity of price changes at the farm level is smaller than the price change at the merchant level. Decreasing potato in production was resulted in impact of the price of potato which was uncertain from season to another season. The long marketing chain affects elasticity of price transmission. Farmers who act as price taker, only received the price that has been given by the village collectors.

Abstract

The growth of milk consumption in Indonesia amounted to 5.09% is still higher compared with production with 3,17%. The low production is caused by not optimal in milk production with an average of 8,82 litres/head/day, in addition there are fluctuations in production. These fluctuations mark the presence of production risk, make a new issue for the dairy cows development. The production risk becomes important to be studied in order to improve the productivity and development of dairy cattle business. The purpose of this study is to analyze the level of risk and the risk agents as well as a mitigation strategy to handle it. This research was conducted in the month of March 2020 in the Getasan District because it is one of the dairy centers in the Semarang Regency. The determination of the location of the Dairy Cattle Farmers Association (DCFA) is determined purposively taken the Rias DCFA in the Kopeng Village with consideration to have a suitable location for the cultivation of dairy cows and is the group with the number of cattle is highest in the Kopeng Village. The determination of the sample using the census method by the respondents as many as 34 people. The primary data obtained through interviews farmers based on questionnaires and direct observation. The secondary data obtained through the study note that there is at the Rias DCFA and relevant literature. Data analysis using quantitative calculation value of the Coefficient of Variation (KV) and House of Risk (HOR) method. The results showed that the level of production risk as very high and experienced the extreme fluctuations with the KV value of 22.39%. Based on the HOR phase 1 there are 9 risk agent the main cause of the risk events that become priority to be addressed. The results of the HOR phase 2 achieved 3 mitigation strategy priority to be applied to handle 9 of these risk agents.

Abstract

The agricultural sector is a sector that has a very strategic role in economic development in Indonesia. Nevertheless, the agricultural sector is still faced with several problems such as the unenforceability of farmers' welfare, lack of access to capital and marketing problems of crops. Kehadrian farmer groups and Sharia Micro Finance Institutions (LKMS) have not been able to optimize the potential of the agricultural sector. The purpose of this research is to analyze the institutional structure and network of local farmers and to analyze the institutional of local farmer groups. This research uses qualitative approach and collects data through indepth interview, focus group discussion (FGD) and obervation which involves participation of local agricultural sector actors by using qualitative analysis approach of case study with Analytical Network Process (ANP) analysis method. The results show that not all farmers in Central Java Province are incorporated in farmer groups and implement sharia financing system. Sharia financing system implemented by farmer groups through BMT and Savings and Loans Cooperative (KSP) has a positive impact on the development of farmers' farming in Central Java Keywords: inst itutional, farmer group, syariah financial inst itution, ANP.

Abstract

Sektor pertanian merupakan sektor yang berperan sangat strategis dalam pembangunan ekonomi di Indonesia. Namun demikian, sektor pertanian masih dihadapkan dengan beberapa permasalahan seperti tidak terjaminnya kesejahteraan petani, kurangnya akses untuk memperoleh permodalan danmasalah pemasaran hasil panen. Kehadiran kelompok tani dan Lembaga Keuangan Mikro Syariah (LKMS) belum mampu mengoptimalkan potensi dari sektor pertanian. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menganalisis stuktur dan jaringan kelembagaan pada pelaku usaha tani setempat serta menganalisis kelembagaan kelompok tani setempat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan menghimpun data melalui indepth interview, focus group discussion (FGD) dan observasi yangmelibatkan partisipasi dari pelaku sektor pertanian setempat dengan menggunakan pendekatan analisis kualitatif studi kasus dengan metode analisis Analytical Network Process (ANP). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak seluruh petani di Provinsi Jawa Tengah tergabung dalam kelompok tani dan menerapkan sistem pembiayaan syariah. Sistem pembiayaan syariah yang diterapkan oleh kelompok tani melalui BMT maupun Koperasi Simpan Pinjam (KSP) memberikan dampak positif terhadap perkembangan usaha pertanian kelompok tani di Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the utilization of delayed logging credit, analyze the R/C ratio, farmer income and net income for farmers who receive and do not receive credit support for fattening beef cattle. The study was conducted in December 2018 - January 2019 in Polosiri Village, Bawen District and Kawengen Village, East Ungaran District, Semarang Regency. Research method is sencus with 31 respondents who received credit support and 37 respondents did not receive credit support. Data were analysed by credit utilization analyze for liverstock and non livestock businesses, R/C ratio, farmer income and net income. Test of different uses of credit received by farmers for liverstock and non for liverstock was carried out using a Paired Sample t-Test and different test R/C ratio, net income and farmers income are carried out using the Independent Sample t-Test. The results showed that the utilization of credit for livestock businesses (52.52%) and non livestock (47.48%), R/C ratio of farmer credit support (1.16) and not credit support (1.13), farmers income of credit support (IDR 585,698/tail of cattle/month) and not credit support (IDR 460,898/tail of cattle/month) there was no significant difference. Net income of farmer credit support (IDR 544,798/tail of cattle/month) and not credit support (IDR 341,727/tail of cattle/month) there are significant differences.

Abstract

Community service activities through science and technology for society program in the Mranak Village, Wonosalam Subdistrict, Demak District directed to empower the community to generate additional income for the family through the application of technology processing fruit and business development. The method used was training and production practices that were preceded by Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to plan for business groups and marketing strategies. Program participants were members of the PKK Mranak Village and women farmers group Mutiara Tani (Gapoktan). Results of empowerment through training and practice showed positive response of the participants. Pioneering to business groups performed through the marketing of products in environmental assessment activities in some places in the Semarang City. Product jam and pie based on organoleptic test can be accepted by the market. Application of marketing strategy and better organization of production that will be initiated the establishment of joint venture group. This empowerment program in the long term is expected to be a thriving business with the capacity and better quality.
