Abstract

The community service Program by students and accompanied by Abulyatama lecturers in the post-covid-19 edition is specifically designed as a solution to the implementation of community service programs. This activity was born from the premise that students are prospective scholars as successors of development who can also work to solve development problems that exist in society. This Program was conducted on the cot Cut Gampong in Kuta Baro district with an area of 228.00 Ha, a population of 803 people. While the plan of activities as follows general field (i) Bersilaturrahmi and socialize with the community about the socialization of utilization of stale rice into organic fertilizer. The benefits of the utilization program of stale rice into liquid organic fertilizer is to provide counseling and assistance to the community about its use as organic fertilizer and overcome waste management from households, namely stale rice that can be used for plant fertilizer and can reduce the cost of rural communities in managing their farming.

Abstract

Usaha budidaya lebah madu Trigona sp. merupakan usaha pengembangan dan penjualan produk hasil dari lebah. Usaha tersebut dilakukan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan produk madu yang terus meningkat. Besarnya permintaan terhadap kemampuan industri perlebahan dalam meningkatkan produksi madu, sehingga untuk mengatasi kondisi tersebut maka pengembangan usaha madu perlu dilakukan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui untuk mengetahui besar Analisis Keuntungan usaha ternak lebah madu Trigona sp di Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan metode survei. Teknik sampling menggunakan cara observasi (metode sensus) dengan jumlah sampel 12 pengusaha lebah madu. Model Analisis data yang digunakan adalah Gross Margin (GM), Gross Ratio (GR), Operational Ratio (OR), Raturn On Invested Captical (ROIC) dan Net Farm Income (NFI). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Net Farm Income (NFI) atau pendapatan bersih usaha lebah madu trigona sp di Kabupaten Aceh Besar sebesar Rp. 4,061,369.04. Usaha lebah madu trigona sp layak untuk diusahakan, yang ditunjukkan oleh nilai Raturn On Invested Captical (ROIC) usaha lebah madu trigona sp di Kabupaten Aceh Besar sebesar 7.99. Operational Ratio (OR) usaha lebah madu trigona sp pada di Kabupaten Aceh Besar sebesar 0.11 dan Gross Ratio (GR) usaha lebah madu trigona sp pada di Kabupaten Aceh Besar sebesar 0.04. yang berarti usaha lebah madu trigona sp di daerah penelitian mampu menghasilkan keuntungan

Abstract

Brassica oleracea atau sayuran berasal dari Takengon mengandung banyak vitamin, karbohidrat, protein serta mineral. Umur simpan sayuran ini terbatas. Hal ini disebabkan karna kandungan kadar air yang tinggi mengakibatkan mudah rusak juga tidak tahan lama. B. oleracea sering diawetkan atau di fermentasi sebagai makanan sauerkraut di Negara Jerman. Namun di Indonesia belum banyak di produksi. Makanan ini memiliki sifat inderawi yang sangat khas menyerupai kimchi dari aroma dan cita rasanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi produk kubis asam dari B. oleracea atau kimchi asal Aceh dengan penambahan merica terhadap variasi konsentrasi persentase garam selama fermentasi. Pengujian sifat fisika-kimia dilakukan di Laboratorium. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analysis of variance (ANOVA) signifikan 5% dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Faktor yang diuji adalah penambahan 1% merica pada konsentrasi garam K 2,25%, MG1 2,5%, MG2 7,5% dan MG3 12,5%. Hasil penelitian menyatakan perlakuan rekomendasi yaitu pada K 2,5% dan MG 2,25%. Rataan K 2,25% dengan sifat fisika-kimia susut bobot 20,75% dalam pH 3,56, TPT 7,75%, kandungan vitamin C 7,41 mg, kandungan kadar air 90,9%, serta asam laktat terkecil adalah 0,0096%. Namun rata-rata MG1 2,5% dengan sifat fisika-kimia susut bobot 20,05% dalam pH 3,69 TPT 7,55%, kandungan vitamin C 13,15 mg, kadar air 92,1%, serta asam laktat yang lebih kecil yaitu 0,0095%. Pemberian merica dalam konsentrasi garam yang berbeda terhadap kimchi asal Aceh berpengaruh nyata pada sifat fisika dan kimia. Berdasarkan hasil uji kesukaan dengan penambahan merica pada variasi garam terhadap panelis tidak terlatih diperoleh pada perlakuan K 2,25% dan MG1 2,5%.Kata kunci : Kimchi, B. oleracea, kubis, garam, sifat fisika-kimia.ABSTRACTBrassica oleracea or vegetables from Takengon were contain a lots of vitamins, carbohydrates, protein and minerals. This study aims to identify vegetable cabbage products from B. oleracea or kimchi from Aceh with the addition of pepper at various percentages of salt concentration during fermentation. Furthermore, testing of physico-chemical properties was carried out in the laboratory. The research method used was analysis of variance (ANOVA) with a completely randomized design (CRD) with a significance of 5%. The factor tested was the addition of 1% pepper to a salt concentration of 2.25% K, 2.5% MG1, 7.5% MG2 and 12.5% MG3. The results of the study stated that the recommended treatment was 2.5% K and 2.25% MG. Average K 2.25% with physico-chemical properties weight loss 20.75% at pH 3.56, TPT 7.75%, vitamin C content 7.41 mg, water content 90.9%, and the smallest lactic acid 0.0096%. However, the average MG1 was 2.5% with physical and chemical properties, 20.05% weight loss at pH 3.69, TPT 7.55%, 13.15 mg vitamin C content, 92.1% moisture content, and lactic acid is smaller, namely 0.0095%. The adding the pepper with different salt concentrations to kimchi from Aceh had a significant effect on the physical and chemical properties. Abstract

Prima 3 certificate is a labeling of fruit and vegetable agricultural products in ensuring food safety with the aim of providing quality assurance and food safety. Aceh Province has used Prima 3 Certification which is given to companies or farmers who cultivate Horticultural crops that are free of pesticide residues. The purpose of the study was to determine the response of horticultural farmers to prime 3 certification in Aceh province. The data analysis model used is Likert scale analysis and Spearman rank correlation analysis. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the response of farmers to the benefits of prime 3 certification in Aceh Province is 66%, which means that they are in the agreed category because in terms of relative benefits they get high income, in terms of the level of conformity of the product composition standards in accordance with technical requirements, from the level of complexity of administrative requirements is very easy to fulfill, registration is easy to implement, in terms of easy application, the quality of the product is better, the product is safer from chemicals, and safe for consumption, so in terms of innovation it is easy to observe. Spearman rank correlation results age, education, experience have a high relationship with farmer response, while land area has a low relationship

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi performan dan produksi karkas itik lokal yang diberi ransum mengandung limbah ikan leubim (Canthidermis maculata). Materi penelitian yang digunakan adalah 100 ekor itik lokal jantan umur 1 hari yang dipelihara hingga umur 16 minggu. Metode penelitian dilakukan secara eksperimental menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri 5 perlakuan ransum dan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan ransum yang digunakan adalah : R0 (ransum kontrol /tanpa limbah ikan leubim), R1 (ransum mengandung 10% tepung kulit ikan leubim), R2 (ransum mengandung 10% tepung kepala ikan leubim), R3 (ransum mengandung 10% tepung tulang ikan leubim), dan R4 (ransum mengandung 10% kombinasi limbah ikan leubim/tepung kulit, kepala dan tulang). Variabel yang diamati yaitu: konsumsi ransum, bobot badan akhir, konversi ransum, mortalitas, bobot karkas dan persentase karkas. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) dan dilanjutkan dengan uji jarak berganda Duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian ransum yang mengandung tepung limbah ikan leubim sebanyak 10% dalam formulasi ransum memberi pengaruh yang signifikan (p0,05) terhadap konsumsi ransum, bobot badan akhir, nilai konversi ransum, bobot karkas dan persentase karkas itik lokal jantan umur 16 minggu, namun tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap mortalitas. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah penggunaan kombinasi limbah ikan leubim (tepung kulit, kepala dan tulang) sebanyak 10% dalam formulasi ransum dapat meningkatkan bobot badan akhir, bobot karkas dan persentase karkas, serta dapat menurunkan konversi ransum itik lokal jantan umur 16 minggu.(Performance and carcass production of local ducks by ration containing of leubiem fish waste (Canthidermis maculata))ABSTRACT. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the use of leubim fish (Canthidermis maculata) waste in ration formulations on the performance and carcass production of local ducks. The research material used was 100 male local ducks 1-16 weeks old. The research method was conducted experimentally using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 5 treatments and 4 replications. The treatment ration used was as follows: R0 (control ration/without leubim fish waste), R1 (ration containing 10% leubim fish skin), R2 (ration containing 10% leubim fish head), R3 (ration containing 10% leubim fish bone), and R4 (ration contains 10% combination of leubim fish waste/skin, head, and bones). The observed variables were: feed consumption, final body weight, feed conversion, mortality, carcass weight, and carcass percentage. Data were analyzed with Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). The results showed that the use of leubim fish waste in ration 10% had a significant effect (p0.05) on ration consumption, final body weight, conversion ratio, carcass weight, and carcass percentage of male local ducks, but did not significantly affect mortality. The study concluded that the use of 10% leubim fish waste combination in ration formulation could increase the final body weight, carcass weight, carcass percentage and decrease feed conversion of the male local ducks age 16 weeks.

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi tingkat kepadatan kandang yang berbeda terhadap performan dan persentase karkas. Materi penelitian yang digunakan adalah ayam ras petelur jantan strain Isa Brown dari PT Charoen Pokphand Jaya Farm, Medan, sebanyak 208 ekor berumur 1 hari (DOC). Penelitian dilakukan secara eksperimental menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), terdiri atas 4 perlakuan tingkat kepadatan kandang dan masing-masing perlakuan diulang sebanyak 4 kali. Perlakuannya antara lain adalah K1: 10 ekor/m2, K2: 12 ekor/m2, K3: 14 ekor/m2, K4: 16 ekor/m2. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan analysis of variance dan jika memberikan hasil yang nyata dilanjutkan dengan Uji Duncan. Variabel yang diamati meliputi: konsumsi ransum, pertambahan bobot badan, bobot badan akhir, konversi ransum, mortalitas, bobot karkas dan persentase karkas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepadatan kandang yang berbeda 10, 12 14, dan 16 ekor/m2 tidak memberi pengaruh yang nyata terhadap konsumsi ransum ayam ras petelur jantan umur 6 minggu. Demikian juga halnya terhadap pertambahan bobot badan, bobot badan akhir, konversi ransum, bobot karkas. Pemeliharaan ayam ras petelur jantan pada kepadatan kandang yang berbeda tidak mengalami mortalitas (0%) selama 6 minggu penelitian. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah kepadatan kandang yang berbeda 10, 12, 14 dan 16 ekor/m2 tidak mempengaruhi performan, dan persentase karkas ayam ras petelur jantan umur 6 minggu. Pemeliharaan ayam ras petelur jantan masih dapat dilakukan pada kepadatan kandang 16 ekor/m2 tanpa mempengaruhi performan dan persentase karkas.(Performance and carcass percentage of male chicken layers with different density)ABSTRACT. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the performance and carcass percentage of male layer chickens in different density of cage. U 208 male layer DOC, strain Isa Brown produced by PT. Charoen Pokphand Jaya Farm, Medan. The study was designed into Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 4 replications; K1: 10 birds/m2, K2: 12 birds/m2, K3: 14 birds/m2 and K4: 16 birds/m2.Data was analyzed by Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), a significant difference, would be analyzed with the Duncan Multiple Range Test. Measured variables were, body weight, feed consumption, feed conversion, mortality, and carcass percentage. The results indicated that different density of cage has no significant effect on final body weight, body weight gain, feed intake, feed conversion and carcass percentage of male layer chickens. Density of cage did not influence to mortality rate of male . In conclusion, density of cage of 10, 12, 14, and 16 birds/m2 did not affect performance and carcass percentage of male chicken layers.

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Penggunaan wafer ransum komplit mengandung limbah kopi pada itik peking dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui berat akhir dan persentase karkas. Materi penelitian yang digunakan adalah itik peking umur 1 hari (DOD) sebanyak 96 ekor dibagi dalam 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Ransum yang digunakan satu bulan pertama adalah ransum komersil, dan satu bulan terakhir wafer ransum komplit mengandung limbah kopi. Ransum perlakuan yang diberikan adalah: P0 = Wafer ransum komplit 0% limbah kopi (kontrol), P1 = Wafer ransum komplit 2,5% limbah kopi, P2 = Wafer ransum komplit 5% limbah kopi, dan P3 = Wafer ransum komplit 7,5% limbah kopi. Parameter yang diamati: bobot hidup, bobot karkas, bobot potongan karkas, persentase karkas, dan persentase potongan karkas. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap. Data dianalisis dengan analysis of variance dan dilanjutkan dengan Uji Duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan limbah kulit kopi sebagai bahan penyusun ransum itik peking dalam bentuk wafer ransum komplit berpengaruh nyata terhadap bobot akhir. Penggunaan limbah kulit kopi 2,5% dalam ransum secara signifikan (P0.05) meningkatkan bobot karkas dan potongan karkas. Dapat disimpulkan penggunaan limbah kulit kopi sebanyak 2,5% sebagai bahan penyusun wafer ransum komplit tidak memberi pengaruh negatif terhadap bobot badan akhir, persentase karkas dan potongan karkas itik peking.(Carcass percentage of peking duck feed wafer complete ration containing of coffee waste)ABSTRACT. This research was conducted to study the effectiveness of wafer complete ration containing coffee waste on the final body weight and carcass percentage. The study used 96 DOD Peking duck. Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments and 3 replications. Rations used during the first month was a commercial ration, and then subsequently wafer complete ration of coffee waste given as treatments; P0 = wafer complete ration contained 0% of coffee waste (control), P1 = wafer complete ration 2,5% of coffee waste, P2 = wafer complete ration 5% of coffee waste, and P3 = Wafer complete ration 7,5% of coffee waste. The observed variables were: final body weight, carcass weight, carcass percentage, carcass component weight, and carcass component percentage. Collected data was analyzed by ANOVA and followed by Duncan Multiple Range Test if there was a significant different between treatments. The results showed wafer complete ration containing coffee waste was significantly (P 0.05) effect on final body weight. Feed containing 2,5 % of coffee waste significantly (P0.05) effect on carcass weight and carcass percentage. It is concluded that no negatif effect of wafer complete ration containing 2,5 % coffee waste on final body weight and carcass percentage of peking duck.
