Abstract

Pendahuluan: Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh tiga jenis limbah sawit terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman kakao pada pembibitan, pemberian pupuk NPK dengan dosis yang berbeda bertujuan untuk mengetahui dosis yang tepat pada tanaman kakao lalu melihat interaksi kedua perlakuan pada fase pembibitan tanaman kakao. Metode Penelitian: Penelitian dilakukan di Kecamatan Tunggurono Binjai Timur Sumatera Utara pada bulan Desember 2021 sampai Maret 2022. Rancangan penelitian adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial dengan faktor pertama Limbah Kelapa Sawit L0 ( Subsoil ), L1 ( Subsoil + DDS ), L2 ( Subsoil + TKKS), L3 ( Subsoil + FIBER ). Faktor kedua pemberian pupuk NPK N0 ( Tanpa pupuk ), N1 ( 4 g/tanaman ), N2 ( 6 g/tanaman ), N3 ( 8 g/tanaman ). Hasil Penelitian: Pada penelitian dengan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan limbah sawit berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman pada umur 12 MST, jumlah daun umur 8 MST, luas daun umur 6, 8 MST, dan berpengaruh sangat nyata pada jumlah daun umur 6, 10,12 MST, luas daun umur 4 MST, diameter batang umur 12 MST, bobot segar tanaman umur 12 MST, dan bobot segar akar umur 12 MST. pemberian pupuk NPK berpengaruh nyata pada tinggi tanaman umur 12 MST, jumlah daun umur 4 MST. Dan interaksinya berpengaruh nyata pada panjang akar umur 12 MST.

Abstract

Introduction: Tomato plants (Solanum lycopersicum) are vegetable in vitamins A, B, C. In the cultivation of tomato plants, it is necessary to maximize the growth and production of tomato plants, the application of NPK which can add nutrients to plants. Then, cocoa husk compost which provides nutrients, improves soil structure. Methods: This research was carried out in November 2022 - February 2023 at Jln. Yos Sudarso Dusun III Kec. Binjai, Kab. Langkat. North Sumatra. The study used a 2-factor factorial randomized block design (RAKF), the first factor was NPK 16-16-16, N0 (10 g/plant), N1 (20 g/plant), N2 (20 g/plant), N3 (30 g/plant). the second factor was the modification of the planting medium for cocoa shell compost, M0 (Top soil), M1 (Top soil + Cocoa Hull Compost 1:½), M2 (Top soil + Cocoa Hull Compost 1:1), M3 (Top soil + Cocoa Hull Compost 1:1½). Parameters observed were plant height, soil water content, fruit weight planted, and total harvest weight. Results: The results showed that the npk 16-16-16 treatment had a significant effect on plant height growth, fruit planting weight, total harvest weight, the best treatment was N3. modification of the planting medium of cocoa shell compost had a significant effect on fruit weight per plant, soil water content, total harvest weight, the best treatment was M3. The interaction of NPK 16-16-16 and modification of the planting medium of cocoa shell compost had no significant effect on all parameters, the best treatment was N2M1. Abstract

Introduction: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the growth and production of okra plants on the application od KCl and planting media mixed with cocoa husk compost. Materials and Methods: This 'research' was carried out in October 2022-February 2023 on Jln Yos Sudarso hamlet 3, Suka Makmur village, Binjai district. This study used a factorial randomized block design (RBD) with 2 treatment factors. The first factor is the planting medium mixed with cocoa shell compost with the symbol (T) which consists of 3 treatment levels, namely: T0= Top soil, T1= Top soil + Cocoa husk compost (1: ½), T2= Top soil+Cocoa husk compost (1:1). The second factor was giving KCl fertilizer with the symbol (K) which consisted of 4 treatment levels, namely: K0= 0 gram/plant, K1= 5 gram/plant, K2= 10 gram/plant, K3= 15 gram/plant. Results: The results showed that the treatment of cocoa shell compost had a significant effect on stem diameter at 4 MST and flowering age, and had a very significant effect on plant height at 6 MST, 8 MST and 10 MST, number of leaves at 4 MST, 6 MST, 8 MST and 10 MST. MST, stem diameter at 6 MST, 8 MST and 10 MST, number of fruit planted, fruit weight planted, number of fruit per plot and fruit weight per plot. The application of KCl fertilizer had no significant effect on all parameters. Interaction of the two had a significant effect on the number of leaves aged 4 WAP.

Abstract

Introduction: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of intercropping system of kcl fertilizer on the growth and production of sweet corn plants. Research Method: This research was conducted in Pasar VIII Namo Terasi Village, Sei Bingai District, from October 2022 - January 2023. The study used a Factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 2 treatment factors. The first factor KCl consisted of treatment levels, namely K0 = 0 g/plant, K1 = 10 g/plant, K2 = 15 g/plant. The second factor was intercropping with three treatment levels of peanut spacing, namely T1 = 20 x 15 cm, T2 = 20 x 20 cm, T3 = 20 x 25 cm. Parameters observed were Plant Height (cm), Plant Cob Weight (gr). Cob Weight Per Plot (kg), and Number of Fruits Per Plot (fruit). Results: The results showed that the kcl treatment had no significant effect on all parameters. The best treatment for kcl was K1 (10 grams), the best treatment for the intercropping system was T2 (20x20), and the best treatment for the interaction between the two treatments was K1T2. Abstract

Pendahuluan: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui respon pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman kacang panjang (Vigna clydrical L) terhadap pemberian pupuk poc kulit pisang kepok dan pupuk KCl. Metode Penelitian : Penelitian ini laksanakan Di Desa Pasar VIII Namo Terasi Kecamatan SEI BINGAI, Pada bulan Oktober 2022- Januari 2023. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman kacang panjang terhadap pemberian POC Kulit Pisang Kepok dan Pupuk KCl. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial dengan 2 faktor perlakuan. Faktor pertama Pengaruh Pupuk POC kulit pisang kepok simbol (P) tanam campuran yang terdiri dari 3 taraf perlakuan yaitu : P0 = tanpa pupuk POC, P1 = POC 50 ml, P2 =POC 100 ml. Faktor kedua pemerian pupuk KCl dengan simbol (K) yang terdiri dari 3 taraf perlakuan yaitu : K0 = 0 gram/polybag, K1 = 3 gram/polybag, K2 = 6 gram/polybag. Parameter yang diamati dalam penelitian ini adalah tinggi tanaman (cm), umur berbunga (hari), jumlah buah perplot (buah), berat buah perplot (g). Hasil Penelitian: Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perlakuan POC kulit pisang kepok berpengaruh nyata pada tinggi tanaman pada umur 2MST, 4MST, 6MST, dan berpengaruh sangat nyata pada berat buah perplot pada panen ke 3. Pemberian pupuk KCl berpengaruh nyata pada tinggi tanaman pada umur 2MST, 4MST, 6MST, dan pada panen ke 3. Interaksi keduanya berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman pada umur 2MST, 4MST, 6MST. Berat buah pertanaman terbaik di peroleh pada perlakuan P2K2=413,50.

Abstract

Purple eggplant (Solanum melongena L.) is a vegetable widely grown in Indonesia. This research to determine the effect of applying NPK 16-16-16 combined with pineapple peel POC on the growth and yield eggplant plants. The research was conducted in a community garden in Medan Helvetia District, North Sumatra. The research used two treatment factors with a Factorial Randomized Group Design (RAK). factor1 is the dose of NPK 16-16-16 which consists four levels: N0 (control), N1 (10 grams/plant), N2 (20 grams/plant), and N3 (30 grams/plant). Factor2 POC of pineapple skin consists four levels: P1 (50 ml POC + 950 ml water = 1 L/Plot), P2 (100 ml POC + 900 ml water = 1 L/Plot), P3 (150 ml POC + 850 ml water = 1 L/Plot), and P4 (200 ml POC + 800 ml water = 1 L/Plot). Parameters a plant height (cm), number branches, age harvest (days), fruit weight plant (gr), number of fruit plant, and fruit weight plot. The research results NPK 16-16-16 fertilizer had a impact on plant height, number of branches, age at harvest, fruit weight per plant, number of fruit per plant, and fruit weight per plot. The best dose was 20 g/plant (N2) . Pineapple peel POC application also affected plant height at 5 WAP, number of branches, fruit weight per plant, number of fruit per plant, and fruit weight per plot. The best results are using combination of 20 g/plant NPK 16-16-16 (N2) and 150 ml pineapple skin POC application + 850 ml water.

Abstract

“Pendahuluan: Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk melihat pertumbuhan dan produksi bawang merah terhadap mikoriza dan campuran berbagai limbah sawit. Metode Penelitian: Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Tunggurono, Kecamatan Binjai Timur, Sumatera Utara, Pada bulan Juni sampai dengan September 2022. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Rancangan Acak Kelompok Faktorial (RAKF) dengan 2 faktor, dimana faktor pertama yaitu mikoriza, S0: Kontrol, S1 : 50 gram mikoriza, S2 : 100 gram mikoriza. Faktor kedua yaitu limbah sawit, T0 : Kontrol, T1 : Top Soil + Tkks, T2 : Top Soil + Serat, T3 : Top Soil + Sludge. Parameter yang diamati, tinggi tanaman, jumlah anakan, jumlah umbi per rumpun, bobot basah per rumpun, bobot basah per plot, volume akar. batang (mm), umur berbunga (hari), jumlah buah pertanaman (buah), bobot buah pertanaman (g), jumlah buah perplot (buah), bobot buah perplot (g)”. Hasil Penelitian: Hasil penelitian perlakuan mikoriza berpengaruh nyata terhadap bobot basah per plot dengan perlakua S1 terbaik. Perlakuan limbah sawit berpengaruh terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman, jumlah anakan, bobot basah per rumpun, volume akar dan berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap bobot basah per plot, perlakuan terbaik yaitu T3 (31,02). Interaksi perlakuan mikoriza dan limbah sawit berpengaruh nyata terhadap bobot basah per plot dan perlakuan terbaik pada kombinasi (37,50)

Abstract

Utilization of land for other uses in Sigumpar District needs to be supported by information regarding land suitability. Therefore, an evaluation of the characteristics of the level of land suitability in the area was carried out, to analyze improvement efforts aimed at increasing productivity, as well as to create a map of actual land suitability and potential land suitability for durian plants in the district. The method used is the survey method. Land units are based on soil maps, slope maps, altitude maps, land cover maps, consisting of 6 land units and 18 points. The analysis method is the comparing (matching) method. The results of the research show that the level of land suitability for durian plants (Durio zibethinus Murr.) The actual land conditions suitable for durian cultivation in Sigumpar District are 1,856.22 ha. (2) Potential land conditions suitable for durian cultivation in Sigumpar District are 1,726.22 ha. Where limiting factors that cannot be remedied are temperature and soil texture, while limiting factors such as nutrient retention, nutrient availability, water availability and erosion hazards can be remedied in the form of: (1). Liming and fertilization adjusted to the results of soil tests on the land. Abstract

Peternakan Kambing Domba Arjuna di Desa Deli Tua, Sumatera Utara merupakan salah satu usaha yang dikembangkan masyarakat untuk untuk penyediaan kambing dan Domba sebagai pemenuhan permintaan kebutuhan  acara qurban, Akikah dan lain-lain di wilayah Sumatera Utara khususnya.  Limbah yang dihasilkan dari usaha ini adalah kotoran (inthil) yang mempunyai aroma yang tajam sehingga menimbulkan polusi udara.  Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan menambah wawasan peternak untuk mengelolah limbah dari kotoran ternaknya khususnya kambing menjadi produk yang dapat bermanfaat bagi kegiatan pertanian dan mengurangi polusi udara.  Pengelolaan inthil menjadi pupuk organik melalui proses pengomposan akan sangat membantu mengurangi bau yang tidak sedap dari limbah ternak kambing tersebut dan sekaligus menjadi produk yang dapat menambah pendapat petani.  Proses pembuatan pupuk organik inthil melalui proses fermentasi yang berguna mengurai unsur-unsur yang ada dalam inthil menjadi tersedia bagi tanaman.  Metode yang akan dilakukan dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini berupa metode pendampingan (mentoring) dan metode partisipatory rural approach (PRA). Hasil kegiatan ini memberikan pemahaman dan kemampuan peternak dalam mengelola limbah ternak kambing dengan cara  pengomposan inthil sehingga anggota kelompok tani dapat menerapkannya. Abstract

This research was conducted in Medan Marelan District, Medan City, North Sumatra. This research began in April 2024 until July 2024. The aim of this research was to determine the effect of administering several concentrations and methods of application of Paklobutrazol on the growth and production of beet plants. This research used a factorial randomized block design (RAK) consisting of two treatment factors, with the first factor being Paklobutrazol with the symbol (P) consisting of 3 treatment levels, namely: P0 = control, P1 = Paklobutrazol 0.5 grams/plant, P2 = Paclobutrazol 1 gram/plant. The second factor is the application method with the symbol (A) which consists of 2 levels, namely A1 = pour 100 ml of water/plant, A2 = sow. The parameters observed in this research were plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), wet weight per plant (gr), tuber weight per plant (gr), and sugar content per plant (%). The results of the research showed that Paklobutrazol treatment had a very significant effect on plant height at 6 WAP and 7 WAP, wet weight per plant, tuber weight per plant. The application treatment had a very significant effect only on the tuber weight parameter per plant. The interaction of the two treatments had a very significant effect on plant height at 5 WAP, 6 WAP and 7 WAP, number of leaves at 5 WAP, 6 WAP and 7 WAP, fresh weight of plants, weight of tubers per plant, and sugar content per plant. The best treatment combination was in treatment P1A1 (Paklobutrazol 0.5 grams per plant) and (application method with cocor).
