Abstract

Technological advances have brought major changes in various aspects of life, including the world of education. One form of use of technology in education is the development of interactive learning media such as educational games. This research aims to develop an Android-based educational game that raises the theme of environmental cleanliness and is intended for 5th grade students of SD Inpres Kalu, East Sumba. The background of this research is based on the low understanding of students on the importance of maintaining environmental cleanliness, which is caused by conventional learning methods that are less interesting and less interactive. The educational game developed will contain materials such as types of waste, how to sort and dispose of waste, and dirty environmental impacts. The research method used is research and development (R&D) with a waterfall model that includes the stages of needs analysis, design, implementation, verification, and maintenance. Supporting data were obtained through interviews, observations, and literature studies. The results of the trial showed an increase in students' understanding of environmental hygiene materials, which was evidenced by an increase in the average score from 78.0 in the pre-test to 87.2 in the post-test, with a difference of 9.2 points or an increase of 11.79%. Testing using the Black Box Testing method showed that all in-game features performed as intended, while the System Usability Scale (SUS) test results obtained an average score of 83.5, which is in the excellent category.

Abstract

Abstract

The impact of internet cut off or disrupted at SD Inpres Papindung, the teachers will have difficulty finding teaching materials and may have to return to traditional methods that are less effective. Updating Dapodik data will also be disrupted, which could affect school administration and evaluation. The unavailability of an internet connection does occur due to technical reasons or due to intentional elements, one of which is the use of Yersinia software. Yersinia is a piece of software that is commonly used to attack available networks by sending fake MAC addresses continuously so that the IP address on the DHCP server runs out, so that the client does not get an IP address which causes the client unable to access the internet. This attack are called DHCP Starvation Attack. This can be prevented using Bridge Filtering method. Bridge Filtering can filter only recognized MAC addresses to transmit data or can request an IP address from the DHCP server, while MAC addresses that are not recognized or foreign devices will not be allowed to request from that port or will not receive an IP address from the DHCP server. The aim of implementing Bridge Filtering is to measure the creativity of the Bridge Filtering method in preventing DHCP Starvation Attack attacks so that clients who want to connect to the network can access the internet and improve network quality at SD Inpres Papindung. The results show that the Bridge Filtering method effective in preventing DHCP Starvation Attacks and improves network quality at SD Inpres Papindung which is shown by an increase of throughput, before implementation it was 794.66 Kbps and after implementation it was 1283.70 Kbps, there was a decrease of delay from 6.89 ms before implementation to 4.06 ms after implementation. There was also a decrease in jitter before implementation 10.56 ms and after implementation 6.05 ms, but caused an increase in packet loss which was 0.30% before implementation and after implementation increased to 0.79%. Of the four variables, all of them remain at the same level except for the throughput variable, where there is a change from the fair category to the good category, so that it has an impact on the quality of the internet network at SD Inpres Papindung after implementing Bridge Filtering which is stated to be better than before implementing Bridge Filtering on the internet network at SD Inpres Papindung.

Abstract

Abstract

Financial information systems are information systems designed to provide users with information about cash flows throughout an organization. The procedures carried out in this system are a series of written documents or actions involving many people in a department to ensure consistent treatment. The Sumba Christian Church (GKS) Wainggai Congregation currently does not have information technology that can help to summarize church finances, so that errors often occur from the congregation when examining the treasurer. Because the calculation or addition of church finances every month is often wrong, so each income and expense must be recalculated from the beginning of the month. From certain problems, using information technology can help alleviate complaints or problems that often occur. Therefore, it is necessary to create an information system at the GKS Wainggai Congregation to help manage church finances so that errors do not occur again. This study uses the prototype method. The results of testing using the blackbox method show that this system can run according to its function without any errors. Meanwhile, from the results of the SUS test that has been carried out from the level of user satisfaction with the church's financial recording information system, the assessment given to 1o respondents resulted in a score of 78%. With acceptability ranges "Acceptable" and "High" ranges. The scale of grades is in the category of class "C". and on the "Good" Adjective ratings model. These results show that the financial recording information system can be accepted by its users.
