Abstract

This research is aimed to: 1) find out the objective condition of supporting elements of Character Building Training Program in Faculty of Engineering, Muhammadiyah University of West Sumatra at the antecedent phase, 2) look over the efectivity of the program implementation at the transaction phase, and 3) identify the character of students as the outcome of CBT Program. This formative evaluation research applies qualitative research particulary countenance stake. The data are collected by observation, questionnaire, interview, and documentation. The data are analyzed by domain analysis technique, tacsonomy, and componential technique, based on evaluation phase and applied together with data collecting. This research points out that antecedents phase is on the high category and transaction and outcomes phase are on moderat category.Keywords: Countenance Stake Model, CBT, FT UM Sumbar

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan dalam  perbaikan dan penertiban administrasi legalitas pada salah satu Amal Usaha Muhammadiyah (AUM) Tingkat Sekolah Lanjutan Tingkat Atas (SLTA) di Lingkungan Amal Usaha Muhammadiyah Sumatera Barat. Nomor Induk Berusaha (NIB) sebagai kebijakan baru dari pemerintah nyata membawa kemudahan bagi setiap investor maupun Pelaku Usaha. Perbaikan dan penertiban administrasi yang dimaksud dalam hal ini adalah terkait dengan pengurusan ijin pendirian AUM yang selaras dengan status badan hukum AUM yaitu Nomor Induk Berusaha (NIB) dan penyeragaman Nomor Induk Wajib Pajak (NPWP). Pasalnya, kini pengusaha tak lagi membutuhkan beragam surat izin hanya untuk mendirikan satu jenis usaha, karena NIB telah memiliki kedudukan sebagai pengganti surat-surat tersebut. Diharapkan dengan pendampingan tersebut status hukum Amal Usaha Muhammadiyah menjadi lebih jelas dan manajemen pengelolaan administrasi dan keuangan semakin dapat dipertanggungjawabkan. Metode pendampingan yang dilaksanakan adalah (1) Diskusi Terfokus, (2) Presentasi, (3) Pendampingan Input Data, dan (4) Monitoring dan Evaluasi. Pendampingan pengurusan SK pengesahan pendirian AUM untuk SLTA dilingkungan Amal Usaha Muhammadiyah Sumatera Barat dilaksanakan pada tanggal 30 November 2019, bertempat di Ruang Seminar Universitas Muhamamdiyah Sumaetara Barat Kampus Padang. Target peserta pendampingan sebanyak 40 AUM, yaitu terdiri dari MAM 16 Sekolah, SMUM 12 Sekolah, SMKM 5 Sekolah, Pondok Pesantren 6 Sekolah, dan Mualimin 1 Sekolah . Berdasarkan capaian kegiatan pada tahap 1, yaitu pengisian dan penguploadan permohonan surat keputusan pengesahan pendirian AUM, maka untuk kegiatan pendampingan selanjutnya difokuskan pada pengurusan Nomor Induk Berusaha (NIB)  Kata Kunci : Pendampingan, NIM, AUM, Sumatera Barat, Muhammadiyah

Abstract

Sistem Informasi Pengolahan Data Mahasiswa Universitas Muhammdiyah Sumatera Barat,Sistem pengolahan data adalah suatu kesatuan yang saling berhubungan atau terintegrasi untuk membentuk suatu sistem antara data, perangkat keras, perangkat lunak, prosedur pengolahan, dan tenaga pelaksana.Pembuatan sistem ini menggunakan metode blackbox testing karena pengujian yang dilakukan hanya mengamati hasil eksekusi melalui data uji dan memeriksa fungsional dari perangkat lunak. Jadi dianalogikan seperti kita melihat suatu kotak hitam, kita hanya bisa melihat penampilan luarnya saja, tanpa tau ada apa dibalik bungkus hitamnya. Sama seperti pengujian black box, mengevaluasi hanya dari tampilan luarnya (interfacenya), fungsionalitasnya.tanpa mengetahui apa sesungguhnya yang terjadi dalam proses detilnya (hanya mengetahui input dan output).Hasil pembuatan sistem ini menghasilkan sebuah sistem yang mampu mencegah terjadinya duplikasi data serta dapat menampilkan data yang terkait pada setiap individu,dalam pembuatan sistem ini menggunakan framework Admin Lte 2, bahasa pemrograman PHP dan DBMS XAMPP, serta untuk pemogramannya menggunakan aplikasi visual studio code. Pembuatan website ini bertujuan untuk menggantikan system yang semula menggunakan google form, digantikan dengan website pengolahan data yang dapat menampilkan data yang terkait degan setiap individuKata Kunci: Sistem Informasi, Mahasiswa, bahasa pemograman

Abstract

This study aims to see the pattern of collaboration in digital waste houses, and how the process of community empowerment through plastic waste management in the Digital Waste House, Tarok Dipo Village. In addition, the purpose of this research is also to see what are the social and economic impacts on the community of the existence of the Digital Waste House. The results of this study are that the process of community empowerment through plastic waste management activities at the Digital Waste House is running quite well. Plastic waste management activities at the Digital Waste House have provided many benefits for the community and its members, including the benefits felt by the community in addition to social benefits as well as economic benefits. This activity also provides knowledge and knowledge for the community about how to process plastic waste properly.Keywords: Empowerment ; Plastic Waste Recycling ; Digital Waste House.

Abstract

The current learning situation can be done by applying distance learning (PJJ). Technology is the key to sustainability in its implementation. Utilization of information technology in education, among others, can help during the learning process. Today, educators must keep abreast of the rapid development of technology and be able to use it more effectively to generate interesting teaching ideas. Learning media plays a very important role because it can help students in learning, especially in computer applications, or Aplikom for short. One of the learning media that can be used in utilizing technological developments is using an Android smartphone. With this, students can study independently anywhere and anytime. The purpose of this research is the development of android-based e-modules and to produce valid, practical and effective learning media in the Computer Applications course at the Muhammadiyah University of West Sumatra. The research method is the Research and Development (R&D) method using a 4D model. The 4D development procedure is Definition, Design, Development and Dissemination. Techniques in analyzing the data used are validity, practicality and effectiveness. The results obtained by the research are that the e-module that has been produced is valid with a media aspect value of 88% and a material aspect value of 93%. The e-module that has been produced is practically in accordance with the results of the lecturers' responses with a value of 97.3% and the results of student responses with a value of 88.3%. The resulting android-based e-module is effectively used with the postetst value of students' classical completeness which is 91% and the gain score value is 0.57 with a medium category. The conclusion is that the android-based e-modules produced are valid, practical and effective and useful in distance learning to help students learn independently.

Abstract

Perkembangan dunia teknologi pada saat ini sangatlah pesat dan mencakup berbagai bidang dalam aplikasinya untuk menciptakan inovasi yang dapat memberikan kemudahaan dalam pekerjaan manusia. Salah satu bidang yang dapat di aplikasikan yaitu bidang energi baru dan terbarukan Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS). Sistem pembangkit listrik tersebut memanfaatkan cahaya matahari dengan bantuan panel surya yang di pasang pada satu tempat dengan posisi yang tetap namun posisi dari matahari akan berubah seiring berjalannya waktu sehingga panel surya hanya akan menerima sinar matahari pada waktu tertentu saja sehingga energi yang di hasilkan pembangkit listrik kurang maksimal. Dengan pemanfaatan teknologi mikrokontroller Arduino Uno, sensor cahaya, motor servo, LCD 2x16 dan sensor tegangan penulis menciptakan sistem prototipe yang dapat mengatur posisi panel surya secara otomatis mengikuti arah cahaya matahari yang memiliki intensitas yang tinggi. Alat bekerja dengan cara membandingkan nilai dari 2 buah sensor cahaya yang dipasang pada panel surya kemudian apabila terjadi perbedaan nilai mutlak pengukuran sensor maka motor servo akan mengatur posisi panel surya pada intensitas cahaya yang tinggi dan akan berhenti berputar saat posisi cahaya sudah maksimal kemudian nilai hasil pengukuran intensitas cahaya dan tegangan keluaran dari panel surya akan di tampilkan pada LCD 2x16. Sistem prototipe ini akan membuat posisi panel surya maksimal dalam penerimaan cahaya matahari sehingga energi yang di hasilkan oleh panel surya akan maksimal.Kata kunci : panel surya, mikrokontroller, sistem pengikut sinar matahari

Abstract

 In the management of data recording marriage events at the KUA (the Office of Religious Affairs) is still manual and has not utilized information technology to the fullest. The process of inputting, managing and storing data on recording marriage events only utilizes Microsoft Office applications and there is even some data that is written manually so that the process of presenting reports for recording marriage events is still relatively slow and inefficient, there are often errors and loss of data which results in the KUA having to search for data again. To overcome this problem, an application design is carried out that can speed up the process of recording marriage events at the KUA. Design and Implementation was using Visual Studio 2012 and MySQL as a database processing place. The application designed to support the process of recording marriage events more effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan industri terhadap sistem otomatis yang efisien, akurat, dan aman untuk menggantikan proses manual, serta memanfaatkan kemudahan teknologi seperti Arduino dalam sistem robotik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah merancang dan membangun prototype lengan robot 6-axis dengan sistem pick and place yang dikendalikan oleh mikrokontroler Arduino Mega menggunakan metode inverse kinematic untuk memindahkan objek secara otomatis dan akurat. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen rekayasa dengan tahap perancangan, pembuatan, dan pengujian sistem. Gerakan robot dikendalikan untuk mencapai posisi target secara tepat. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan sistem berfungsi stabil dengan akurasi tinggi. Tegangan pada Arduino Mega tercatat sebesar 4,929 VDC saat aktif, masih dalam toleransi ±5% dari 5 V. Sensor infrared berfungsi baik dengan respon logika digital stabil. Motor servo menerima suplai rata-rata 10,30 VDC, dengan tegangan terendah 10,14 V pada servo 5 saat proses peletakan objek. Ini menunjukkan beban lebih berat pada gripper. Secara keseluruhan, sistem dapat menjalankan tugas pick and place dengan baik meskipun masih memiliki keterbatasan ruang gerak karena bentuk prototipe. Keberhasilan ini menunjukkan potensi implementasi sistem robotik berbasis Arduino dalam otomasi industri.Kata Kunci: sistem otomatis, rekayasa, inverse kinematic, otomasi industri

Abstract

Purpose – The rapid advancement of digital technology has encouraged higher education institutions to integrate innovative learning media to enhance the quality of the teaching and learning process. However, learning activities in Operating Systems courses are still predominantly conducted using conventional methods, causing students to experience difficulties in understanding abstract concepts such as process management, memory management, CPU scheduling, and file systems. This study aims to develop Android-Based Smart Learning media for the Operating Systems course and to determine the feasibility level of the developed media as an interactive learning tool.Method – This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The developed product was validated by subject-matter experts and media experts before being implemented with students of the Informatics and Computer Engineering Education Program who were enrolled in the Operating Systems course. Data were collected through validation sheets and student response questionnaires using a five-point Likert scale and were analyzed using descriptive quantitative methods.Results – The findings indicate that the Android-Based Smart Learning media was successfully developed by integrating learning materials, instructional videos, interactive quizzes, and automated feedback features into a single Android application. The material expert validation yielded a score of 89.00%, while the media expert validation achieved a score of 90.00%, both categorized as highly feasible. Furthermore, student responses obtained an average percentage of 90.27%, classified as very good. Therefore, the developed media was considered suitable for supporting the learning process in the Operating Systems course.Research Implications – This study was limited to a single study program and Android devices; therefore, the generalizability of the findings remains limited.Originality – This research integrates the concepts of mobile learning and smart learning into a single interactive learning medium specifically designed to support Operating Systems education in higher education institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the field trip method on the critical thinking skills of undergraduate students in the Tourism Study Program at Universitas Negeri Padang. The research employed a descriptive quantitative approach using simple linear regression analysis. The sample was selected purposively from students who had participated in field trip-based learning activities. The linearity test produced a significance value of 0.385 ( 0.05), indicating a linear relationship between the field trip variable (X) and critical thinking skills (Y). The regression analysis showed that the model was statistically significant, with an F-value of 103.989 and a significance level of 0.000 ( 0.05), meaning the regression model is suitable for predicting the dependent variable. The t-test resulted in a t-value of 3.825 with a significance level of 0.000, indicating that the field trip variable has a significant effect on students’ critical thinking. The regression coefficient was 0.815 with a significance level of 0.000, which means that an increase of 1 unit in the field trip variable will result in a 0.815-unit increase in critical thinking skills. These findings confirm that the field trip method has a positive and significant influence and is an effective learning strategy for enhancing the critical thinking abilities of tourism students.Keywords: Learning Methode, Fielf Trip, Critical Thinking Skills
