Abstract

This study investigated the level of readiness and any difficulties to developing a green campus at UIN WALISONGO, especially in the field of education. This mixed-method study requires data on both processes and outcomes. The information was a grade for faculty preparation in education according to UI Green Matric standard, and limitations in the faculty environment towards the green campus. The preparedness score was 3.6. level 3 means the faculty is ready but must solve various issues. Obstacle to developing a green campus include the absence of fair distribution of socialization from faculty to various levels and a lack of sustainability courses in most study programs. The faculty lacks a sustainability group that work under the dean. The faculty hopes to green the campus by maximizing the academic community.

Abstract

This study aims to 1) develop learning tools with self and peer assessment instruments based on an online discussion of socio-scientific issues 2) to determine their effect on students' argumentation skills on environmental pollution material. The development of learning tools uses the 4D development model with the implementation of research only up to 3D, namely the defining, designing, and development stages. The learning tools developed were RPP, LKPD, evaluation instruments, self-assessment instruments,and peer assessment based on Socio-scientific Issues of Environmental Pollution material. The subjects in this study were students from class X MIPA 4 SMA Negeri 5 Semarang for the 2019/2020 school year. The sampling technique used a simple random sampling technique in limited field tests and saturated sampling techniques in operational field tests. The learning tools developed have been validated by expert lecturers and have been revised so that the results are suitable for use. The results showed that the learning tools developed using the pretest and posttest had a "moderate" effect on the argumentation skills of students with a gain score of 0.5555.

Abstract

The city of Semarang is a coastal area that often experiences the phenomenon of land subsidence which causes sea level rise for decades. From several sub-districts directly adjacent to the Java Sea area, the worst impact of the disaster was experienced by North Semarang District, Bandarharjo Village. The impact of disaster greatly affected the lives of Bandarharjo residents, starting from the aspect of social, economic, and social activities. This makes the residents of Bandarharjo required to be able to survive to adapt to this phenomenon. This study aims to determine how the impact of the land subsidence phenomenon on the social and economic activities of the Bandarharjo Village community. This study uses a qualitative method, namely by analyzing all phenomena that occur in the field. The research data was taken by seeking information through observation, interviews, and document review. The people of the Bandarharjo Village must set aside their salaries to buy land to avoid tidal floods due to land subsidence in the Bandarharjo Village. This will impact the economic conditions of the Bandarharjo Village community, which has low-income jobs.

Abstract

AbstrakSumber daya alam dibutuhkan manusia untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidupnya, sehingga menjadi faktor terjadinya pencemaran lingkungan. Penerapan perilaku pro-environmental merupakan salah satu usaha untuk mengurangi pencemaran lingkungan. Sekolah berkewajiban untuk menumbuhkan kepedulian lingkungan siswa. Jenjang pendidikan yang tinggi akan menambah pengetahuan siswa dan berdampak pada perilaku. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara pengetahuan pencemaran lingkungan dengan perilaku pro-environmental berdasarkan jenjang kelas, menganalisis pengetahuan pencemaran lingkungan berdasarkan jenjang kelas, serta menganalisis perilaku pro-environmental berdasarkan jenjang kelas. Metode yang digunakan yaitu kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional. Populasi penelitian menggunakan siswa kelas X dan kelas XI MIPA. Penentuan jumlah sampel dihitung menggunakan rumus slovin dan banyak sampel tiap kelas ditentukan menggunakan proportionate stratified random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara pengetahuan pencemaran lingkungan dengan perilaku pro-environmental berdasarkan jenjang kelas, hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,991 pada kelas X dan 0,777 pada kelas XI MIPA, tidak ada beda pengetahuan pencemaran lingkungan berdasarkan jenjang kelas, hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,051, dan terdapat beda perilaku pro-environmental berdasarkan jenjang kelas, hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,01.

Abstract

Salah satu cara yang dapat dilakukan dalam menciptakan proses pembelajaran sesuai peraturan yang berlaku dengan menggunakan media ular tangga bercerita yang diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan pendidikan karakter. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah ADDIE. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, angket, dan tes soal uraian kemampun berpikir kritis. Sampel ujicoba produk skala besar produk ini diujikan secara kuasi eksperimen yakni pada kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Hasil kelayakan produk menunjukkan produk tergolong dalam kategori sangat layak digunakan. Respon siswa termasuk kategori sangat menarik. Keefektivan media pembelajaran diperoleh rata-rata kelas ekperimen 74.2 sedangkan rata-rata kelas kontrol 66.07. Ha diterima dan Ho di tolak, disimpulkan terdapat perbedaan hasil post-test kelas ekperimen dengan kelas kontrol.Uji N-gain didapatkan nilai kelas kontrol 35.32 dan nilai kelas eksperimen 43.48 yang berarti sedang, disimpulkan penggunaan media ular tangga bercerita berbasis pendidikan karakter terbukti efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas X pada materi ekosistem.
