Abstract

The coordination among institutions responsible for recording road accident data is weak. It is shown that thefatal accident data for specific locations and/or time periods are reported differently by police offices,insurance companies, and provincial office of health. The aim of this study is to eliminate the difference inthe reported fatal accident data by developing a uniformity method. The proposed method would be able tohandle parallel conversion for adjusting fatality data from the three institutions. The conversion factor willemploy the combination of average values of the parallel conversion factors. Based on the data available inthe Province of West Java, it is found that the value of parallel conversion factors between the police officeand the West Java Provincial Office of Health is 1.31 and between the police office and Jasa Raharjainsurance company is 3.93. The average value of these conversion factors with insurance claim considerationis 2.56 meaning that the real number of fatalities is 2.56 times the amount recorded by the police office.Keywords: road traffic accident, fatalities accident data, and parallel conversion factor

Abstract

Baraya Geulis Train Service is local business class passenger train with a route serving Bandung-Cicalengka. In this study, the performance of train operations are assessed, which include operating speed, timeliness, load factor, headway, and comfort on the train. The results show that, in general, the operating performance of the Baraya Geulis Train is quite well and in compliance with existing standards. Only the operating speed of this train needs to be improved so that it can meet the minimum operating speeds, which is 60 km/hour.Keywords: train operational performance, local trains, operation speed.

Abstract

The traffic congestion during rush hours in Jakarta has exceeded the limits the patient of road users. As a result, the discipline and respect of road users disappear and the number of drivers violating traffic regulation is increasing. One solution proposed in this study is to develop business in the field of mass transit in the Botabek region, tentatively named Botabek Shuttle Express. To support the operation of Botabek Shuttle Express, it is necessary to do a comprehensive study. Results from this study suggest the potential number of private vehicles willing to move to Botabek Shuttle Express is as much as 47 485 vehicles, the number of people willing to change into Botabek Shuttle Express is approximately 73 151 people, and the required number of BSE fleet with a seating capacity of 30 is 1,219 buses. Keywords: traffic congestion, rush hour, mass transport, private vehicles  Kemacetan lalulintas Jakarta pada jam sibuk sudah melampaui batas kesabaran pengguna jalan. Akibatnya disiplin dan etika berlalulintas hilang dan ketidakpatuhan pengguna jalan kepada peraturan semakin meningkat. Suatu solusi yang diusulkan pada studi ini adalah melakukan mengembangkan usaha di bidang angkutan massal di wilayah Botabek, yang sementara ini diberi nama Botabek Shuttle Express. Guna mendukung beroperasinya Botabek Shuttle Express perlu dilakukan suatu kajian yang komprehensif. Hasil kajian ini menunjukkan adanya potensi jumlah kendaraan pribadi yang pindah ke Botabek Shuttle Express sebanyak 47.485 kendaraan, jumlah orang yang pindah ke Botabek Shuttle Express sebanyak 73.151 orang, serta jumlah armada BSE yang dibutuhkan sebanyak 1.219 bus dengan kapasitas tempat duduk 30. Kata-kata kunci: kemacetan lalulintas, jam sibuk, angkutan massal, kendaraan pribadi

Abstract

Abstract            Without significant efforts to reduce the number of accidents which causes deaths, the fatal accidents in traffic road, will follow the prediction of WHO (1999) becoming “the third biggest disease” after ischaemic heart disease and unipolar major depression in 20 years period ahead until year 2020. Since the record system of road traffic accidents in Indonesia is not as same as the record system of international traffic accident, then the data of road traffic accident in Indonesia has to be converted. Based on the results of a simple study in Bandung, these review used conversion factor of 1.25 to convert data of fatal accident in Indonesia. By using this conversion factor, it is found that the number of road accident fatalities in Indonesia is 36,000 persons per year, with the rate of accident is 33 persons per 10,000 vehicles.Keywords: traffic accident, fatal accident, accident rate, data of accident, and conversion factor.

Abstract

In connection with the government's obligation to take responsibility for ensuring the safety of traffic and road transport for road users, it is necessary to conduct Surveys, Investigations, and Design of Black Spot Location (SID-BSL) to reduce traffic accident. Hence a guideline in conducting SID-BSL is needed. In this study, the author compiled a simple technique of prioritization for SID-BSL procedure and applies it to a research on National Roads in the Lampung Province. The technique of prioritization is simplified with four phase activities namely Preparation, Initial Analysis, Detail Survey, and Detail Analysis. The analysis technique is based on the ranking of Black Spot Locations using weighted accident number (WAN). Application procedure is applied on 237 events of accident on the National Roads in Lampung Province resulting five selected BSLs to be treated according to the availability of funds.

Abstract

Peningkatan jumlah kendaraan yang cukup besar pada jenis mobil penumpang khususnya di Jakarta tidak sebanding dengan peningkatan kapasitas jalan yang menimbulkan masalah lalu lintas dan berdampak kepada lingkungan sekitar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi seberapa besar pengaruh alternatif peningkatan persimpangan dalam menunjang penerapan Eco – Driving menggunakan software PTV Vissim. Hasil dari PTV Vissim terhadap kondisi lalu lintas eksisting ialah tingkat pelayanan simpang eksisting berada pada tingkat pelayanan F. Solusi pada Simpang Pos Pengumben ialah alternatif 3 dengan tundaan 23,81 det/kend dan Simpang RS Medika Permata Hijau ialah alternatif 2 dengan tundaan 12,67 det/kend. Berdasarkan uji regresi didapat Y = 0,364 – 0,003X1 + 0,006X2 (X1 = panjang antrean; X2 = tundaan) yang secara simultan variabel kinerja berhubungan dengan variabel Eco – Driving. Untuk penghematan bahan bakar pada Simpang Pos Pengumben sebanyak 234,34 liter pada jam puncak total volume dan Simpang RS Medika Permata Hijau sebanyak 72,76 liter pada jam puncak total volume.

Abstract

Hotmix performance is very dependent on volumetric characteristics and Marshall characteristics, one of the parameters of which is density. Unmet density will affect other Marshall parameters which can also result in early damage to road pavement. This thesis is the result of research in the field and in the laboratory which aims to analyze the effect of temperature at the stage of exposure, and the stage of compaction as well as the number of compaction paths on the density of pavement AC-WC type IVB Asphalt Institute. Research in the field is divided into two categories that are distinguished at the temperature of the exposure to meet the specification requirements and do not meet. The results showed that there was a tendency that the temperature of the dispersion in the range of requirements had a stronger correlation to get the value of the hotmix density according to the requirements compared to the overlay temperature not in the range of requirements. The regression equation model relates the laying temperature (X1), the initial compaction temperature (X2), and the number of compaction paths (X3) to the hotmix density (Y) obtained are: Y = 82,7 + 0,021X1 + 0,033X2 + 0,409X3.

Abstract

Cikampek-Pamanukan Road is the main route of Pantura in the area ofWest Java Province. The proportion of truck traffic in the lane tend to be higher along with the high traffic of goods. The research conducted in the Cikampek-Pamanukan section aims to analyze the magnitude of the effect of overloaded truckloads on the road damage value, to analyze the magnitude of the effect of overhead truckloads on road maintenance costs, and the costs incurred due to excessive truckloads. Methods The study was conducted by conducting a road damage survey from March to December 2016, and an overload truck survey using WIM tools from January to December 2014. The results showed the effect of overload loading on vehicle damage (ESAL) in the form of exponential curve with the equation Y = 23,722e0,0264x. The influence of overload truck volume on roaddamage resulted in Cirebon Y = 7,4823066 - 0,0000048X1 + 0, 004239X2, and Jakarta Y = 172,9392 + 0,00009X1 - 0,00830X2. The effect of overloaded truckloads on road maintenance costs with over 10% MST loading, resulting in a cost of Rp. 733.180.483,72

Abstract

Keselamatan transportasi jalan merupakan salah satu prinsip dasar dalam penyelenggaraan transportasi. Penelitian ini lebih fokus untuk mengidentifikasi faktor dan kriteria terkait dengan kinerja dampak lalu lintas terhadap keselamatan transportasi jalan, serta memberikan konsep manajemen keselamatan transportasi jalan dalam sebuah kegiatan pembangunan. Menggunakan metode Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), diperoleh 3 (tiga) faktor yang harus diperhatikan dalam Manajemen Keselamatan Transportasi Jalan pembangunan kawasan, yaitu Faktor I terkait pemenuhan gambaran umum, Faktor II terkait pemenuhan analisis pemodelan transportasi, Faktor III terkait rekomendasi dan rencana implementasi penanganan lalu lintas. Hasil penentuan skala prioritas pada Faktor III adalah Manajemen bahaya dan risiko sebesar 26,45%, manajemen emergency atau kondisi darurat sebesar 24,99%, manajemen pejalan kaki sebesar 11,40%, manajemen kecepatan sebesar 9,29%, manajemen akses pintu masuk dan keluar sebesar 9,05%, manajemen kebutuhan lalu lintas sebesar 6,99%, manajemen sirkulasi eksternal dan internal sebesar 6,79%, manajemen angkutan umum sebesar 3,02%, manajemen parkir sebesar 2,01%.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between work motivation and psychological well-being (PWB) in internship students in Jabodetabek. The Kampus Merdeka program policy provides opportunities for students to develop their skills and work experience. This study aims to identify how work motivation, both intrinsic and extrinsic, affects the psychological well-being of student interns. Using a predictive correlational approach, data were collected through questionnaires measuring the dimensions of work motivation and PWB. The results showed that intrinsic motivation has a significant positive impact on psychological well-being, while excessive extrinsic motivation can have a negative impact. The research emphasizes the importance of creating a supportive work environment to motivate student interns, improve their performance, and prepare them for the transition from academia to the world of work. The researcher obtained 103 respondents from various students in Jabodetabek. universities with 25.2% male and 74.8% female gender. This research data was processed using convenience sampling techniques, using the Multidimensional Work Motivation Scale (MWMS) questionnaire and Psychological Well Being (PWB) distribution this questionnaire through social media by using google form. The analysis of the data is known through the Kolmogorov Smirnov test obtained a figure of 0.200> 0.05 for both variables, it is concluded that the residual data is normally distributed.
