Permasalahan yang sering dihadapi untuk membuktikan kebenaran rumus suatu deret adalah jika yang disajikan rumus suatu deret yang bukan deret aritmatika dan bukan deret geometri. Salah satu pembuktian yang paling sering dipakai adalah pembuktian dengan induksi matematika. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menentukan rumus jumlah n suku pertama dari: (1) deret aritmatika, deret arirmatika bertingkat dengan landasan deret aritmatika; (2) deret geometri; (3) deret aritmatika bertingkat dengan landasan deret geometri; dan (4) deret yang bukan deret aritmatika dan bukan deret geometri yang diketahui rumus suku ke-nnya, dengan menggunakan metode beda hingga dan teorema Newton. Rumus jumlah n suku pertama yang diperoleh dari hasil penelitian kemudian dibuktikan kebenarannya dengan menggunakan induksi matematika.

Ideally, in investigation of divorce case of husband and wife attend in assembly.With attendance of the spouses, judge will be more easy to strive the peace mentioned above. Ironically, in practice is sometimes wife or husband in capacities as requested / sued have never attended or if to give the authority at a advocate, the side requested / sued have never attended to conference. Pursuant to section 125 HIR to express that if sued absents to face the assembly and do not order others ones as its proxy, hence the accusation will be granted with decision the outside attending of sued ( verstek decision). From result of research obtained by conclusion that is; First, which cause to be requested / to be sued never absents at divorce case raised by applicant / plaintiff so that resulting the verstek decision in Religion Justice of Pamekasan, for example: because shame, so that the session will take place quickly, because sued / requested is shy and or fear to deal with trial, and there is still some of village headman and or modin still have a notion, society in a countryside must inform if they will divorce. Judge of Religion Justice of Pamekasan assess the evidence appliances raised by applicant / plaintiff in divorce case decided by verstek guiding at HIR and also regulation of other constitutions. In the verdict of divorce case, judge council of Religion Justice of Pamekasan only relates at evidence appliance raised by plaintiff / applicant.

The research about characterization of the amylase enzyme from germination glutinous corn seed (Zea mays ceratina L.) was done. The aims of this research is to know the effect of germination time to the activity of the amylase enzyme and characteristics of the amylase enzyme from germination glutinous corn seed (Zea mays ceratina L.). The research was conducted through four phases that is germination stage, extraction, isolation, and characterization. The research device used was Completelly Randomized Design (CRD) and to be continued by BNJ test critical level 5%. Result showed that the germination time that produces the highest activity was 36 hours and the activity of enzyme was 0.0557 sec-1. Isolation of the amylase enzyme purified by salting out method used technical (NH4)2SO4 at concentration 55% with activity of 0.0394 sec-1. The optimum pH was 9, and the activity of enzyme was 0.0207 sec-1. Maximum substrate concentration with the activity 0.0476 sec-1 give at 12.5% (w/v), while the optimum temperature for activity 0.0229 sec-1 was 70 oC. From examination manner analysis for all of free variables results very real effect on the amylase enzyme activity, while the BNJ test critical level of 5% showed a real difference with the other treatments of every variable.

Van der Pol Equation and Duffing Equation are the second order differential equation which are read as x '' µ ( x 2 1 ) x ' + x = 0 and x ' ' kx' - x + x3 = F cos( w t ) . The aim of this paper is to study about the limit cycle of both equations. The discussion will be focused on the existence and the stability of the limit cycle and also the difference between the limit cycle of van der Pol equation and the Duffing equation. The results are limit cycle exist in van der Pol equation and Duffing equation. The form of limit cycle of the van der Pol equatuon is depended to the µ values and the the form of limit cycle of the Duffing equation is depended to the k, F, and w values. The difference of both equations is that van der Pol equation is globally stable while the Duffing equation is locally stable. Duffing equation may be having more than one limit cycle while van der Pol equation can only has single limit cycle.

Portfolio is amount of investment. It determines proportion of fund that should be allocated in each investment in order to increase a certain profit with a certain risk. This research has aim to achieve an optimal result of portfolio case. Examaning this case is use quadratic programming, and then finishing with Wolfe method.

Problems that are often faced to prove the truth of a formula if the presented series is a series that is not the formula of arithmetic and geometric series. One proof among the most commonly proofs used is the proof by mathematical induction. This study was conducted to determine the sum of the first n terms formula of: (1) arithmetic series, storied arithmetic series with the basis of arithmetic series, (2) geometric series, (3) storied arithmetic series with the basis of geometric series, and (4) series which are not arithmetic and geometric series that the formula of the n terms is given, by using the finite difference method and Newton's theorem. The formula of the sum of the first n terms obtained from the results of this study and then it is verified by using mathematical induction. Population genetics is a branch of biology which studies about the gene composition from population and the change of the gene composition is effect from some factors. One of them is lethal gene factor. The change of gene composition will influence the genotype probabilities in the population. In this paper discussed about determining the genotype for the probability of the n-th offspring genotypes in dihybrid mating by observing linkage between the two loci. The mating occurred randomly and without concern ethics in mating. This research was done by making mathematics model to determine allele pair, using difference equation, then from this model will be determined genotypes probability. The result show that the mating happened normally had the same genotype probability of each generation, meanwhile in abnormal mating, the genotype probability whose had lethal gene would decrease and the genotype probability whose did not have lethal gene would increase in each generation.Keywords : Difference equation, dihybrid mating, lethal gene, population genetics, probability

The liquid lead corrosion is often described as a damage of the metal surface due to the high solubility of atoms of the metal that flowing into the liquid metal medium through the diffusion process. This research was conducted to examine the performance of FeNi alloys in liquid lead at various compositions, especially the metal structure conditions due to interactions between metal atoms at high temperatures. To see the performance of this FeNi alloy steel, the parameter that you want to know is the diffusion coefficient of its constituent elements. The potential used is the Lennard-Jones potential. This research uses the LAMMPS molecular dynamics simulation software. From the simulation works can be concluded that the lowest diffusion coefficient of Fe in liquid lead which produces the strongest structure is at the composition (concentration) 65% Fe and 35% Ni with related diffusion coefficient of 5.8582 x 10-12 m2/s, where at this value the corrosion of FeNi in Liquid lead can already be reduced till 77.32%.Keywords: Liquid lead corrosion, Molecular dynamics, FeNi Alloy, Composition, LAMMPS.
