Abstract

This study investigates the levels of satisfaction and self-efficacy among student-teachers enrolled in the Arabic Teacher Professional Education Program, focusing on the impact of SPACE and Zoom-based online learning environments within the context of the 5.0 era. Understanding how these changes affect teacher preparation is crucial as educational paradigms shift towards more technologically integrated methods. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, data were collected from 82 student-teachers at LPTK Islamic University in Jakarta, Indonesia, through surveys and interviews. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, while qualitative data underwent thematic analysis. The findings indicate high levels of satisfaction and self-efficacy among participants, with Zoom-based learning showing a slightly higher preference over SPACE-based learning. Factors contributing to these outcomes include the flexibility, accessibility, and interactive nature of the online platforms. However, students were found to be less familiar with Learning Management Systems (LMS), which impacted their motivation to develop advanced productive skills in speaking and writing. The study underscores the importance of leveraging advanced technological tools to enhance teacher training programs and recommends comprehensive training and tutorials for student teachers. Additionally, it suggests that educators assign productive tasks, particularly in speaking and writing scientific articles in Arabic, to optimize online learning experiences in the era of Education 5.0. These insights are invaluable for policymakers, educators, and institutions that foster effective and adaptive teacher education models.

Devotion is carried out by guiding early childhood to write Arabic, recognize numbers, recognize body parts and procedures for worship. The guidance method used for early childhood is the Offline method. Offline is a method of implementing work programs that are carried out offline where program implementers visit the location or object where a work program will be implemented. Abstract

This study examines the role of school principals' leadership in shaping teachers' character in Islamic schools (madrasahs) in Jambi City, Indonesia. Using an interpretive phenomenological approach, the research explores the lived experiences of both principals and teachers in five madrasah institutions in Seberang, Jambi City. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and participant observations conducted over eight months. The findings reveal four key dimensions of principal leadership that significantly influence the shaping of teachers' character: (1) value-based leadership modeling, (2) development of institutional culture, (3) facilitation of reflective professional development, and (4) integration of spiritual-professional domains. This study contributes to the understanding of educational leadership in a religiously-oriented context, showing how school principals play a vital role as agents in developing teachers' character, which in turn impacts overall educational quality. The research addresses a significant gap in the literature by examining the influence of leadership on the formation of teachers' character in the specific cultural and religious context of Indonesian Islamic schools.

Abstract

Background: Uterine myomas, or fibroids, are one of the most common benign tumors that occur in women of reproductive age, with a reasonably high prevalence worldwide. However, rarely, potentially malignant uterine myomas can cause a variety of health problems, including excessive menstruation, pelvic pain, fertility disorders, and pregnancy complications. Objective: This study aims to analyze the relationship between menarche age and parity with the incidence of uterine myoma. Methods: Types and design of research the plan used in this exploration is quantitative exploration with a case control approach. The sample consisted of 138 respondents, 102 of whom were mothers who experienced uterine myoma and 36 mothers who did not experience the adverse effects of uterine myoma. Results: The test results measured using the chi-square test were obtained with p-value menarche age = 0.004 and parity p-value = 0.000, meaning that there was a very large relationship between menarche age and parity with the incidence of uterine myomas. Conclusion: It can be concluded that the earlier the age of menarche increases the risk of uterine myoma later in life. In contrast, slower menarche may be associated with a reduced risk of myomas. Other factors such as genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors also influence the incidence of uterine myomas, but menarche age is one of the significant hormonal indicators of risk

Abstract

Anemia prevalence among adolescent girls is significantly higher compared to boys, primarily due to menstruation and increased iron requirements during growth. This condition negatively affects immunity, concentration, academic performance, physical fitness, and productivity, and poses long-term health risks, particularly during future pregnancies. In Bone Regency, adolescent anemia rates remain high despite the government’s iron supplementation program. This community service program aimed to implement research findings on using dates (Phoenix dactylifera) to increase hemoglobin levels and address anemia among adolescent girls. The activity involved health education on anemia prevention and the daily provision of 100 grams of dates (7–8 pieces) for seven consecutive days during menstruation. The program was conducted through observation, counseling sessions, and hemoglobin monitoring before and after the intervention. The rationale for using dates is based on their high iron and nutrient content, which supports hemoglobin synthesis naturally. The targeted participants were adolescent girls from the community surrounding Lapatau Stadium, Bone Regency. Expected outcomes included increased knowledge regarding anemia prevention, improvement in hemoglobin levels, and the promotion of alternative nutritional interventions for anemia management. Monitoring and evaluation were conducted by measuring hemoglobin levels post-intervention to assess effectiveness. The program also aims to disseminate results through a SINTA 5-indexed journal publication, providing evidence-based recommendations for integrating date consumption into adolescent nutrition programs. This initiative highlights the potential of locally acceptable, culturally relevant food-based strategies to complement existing public health interventions in reducing anemia prevalence among teenage girls.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the efforts of language managers in teaching Arabic speaking skills to female students and the factors that cause female students to have difficulty speaking Arabic. The type of research used in this study is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects were female students of the Khadijah Dormitory at the Al-Azkiya Modern Islamic Boarding School in Indragiri Hilir, Riau, Indonesia. The data collection instruments in this study used observation, interviews, and documentation. The data sources obtained in this study were the head of the Islamic Senior High School, Arabic teachers, language managers, and female students. The study's results: the process of mastering Arabic language skills for female students was carried out using the muhadatsah method. Factors that influence the difficulties of female students in speaking Arabic consist of internal and external factors. Internal factors: Students lack confidence in speaking Arabic, lack vocabulary, and are accustomed to using their respective regional languages. Efforts made by language administrators to improve the mastery of the Arabic language include various efforts such as: giving punishment to students who do not speak, providing jackets per room to supervise students, bringing dictionaries or kutaib wherever they are, playing Arabic songs or audio in the Islamic boarding school environment, holding Arabic language programs, and improving student discipline.

Abstract

This article aimed to compare students' Arabic language learning outcomes of speaking skills due to the use of Audio-Lingual and direct methods. The author compared the results of the two methods to see their impacts on students’ Arabic speaking skills at Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Iman Ulu Gedong. This referred to comparative quantitative research with the type of experimental research (Post-Test-Only Control). The results of this research showed that: 1). Students' Arabic speaking skills using the Audio-Lingual method obtained the highest score of 95 and the lowest score of 53 with an average of 73.79. 2). Students’ Arabic speaking skills using the Direct method obtained the highest score of 66 and the lowest score of 28 with an average of 47.71. Thus, students’ Arabic speaking skills taught using the Audio-lingual method were higher than those taught using the direct method. 3). Based on the results of hypothesis testing using the paired sample t-test, there was a significant difference in learning outcomes of students' Arabic speaking skills as getting taught by using Audio-lingual and the Direct methods.
