Abstract

This research was conducted to explore the history of Sheikh Sya'ban in the 8th century AD. The account that will be revealed is how he brought Islam into the midst of the Banggai ethnicity and implemented Islamic education for this ethnicity. Apart from that, this research also aims to contribute to subsequent researchers to create a more in-depth study of Sheikh Sya'ban so that this history can be exposed to light and give birth to new knowledge in the world of education, especially Islamic education. For the problems studied, the researcher used a case study research type with a qualitative approach. From the results of this study, it was found that the implementation of Sheikh Sha'ban's Islamic education for the Banggai ethnic group was: (1) Teaching the basics of Islamic teachings, (2) Guiding them to become preachers, (3) Guiding them to become religious leaders. Meanwhile, the implications of Sheikh Sha'ban's Islamic education can be seen as follows: (1) Creating a predominantly Muslim community, (2) Creating a culture that is acculturated with Islamic religious teachings, (3) Creating a solid Islamic ukhuwah in the Banggai ethnicity.

Abstract

Pendidikan agama Islam secara konseptual adalah ruh bagi semua pendidikan yang bertujuan untuk manusia sebagai khalifah di bumi yang telah di amanahkan, untuk mengatur dan memberikan kesejahtreraan sesama manusia. Pendekatan sosiologis pada Pendidikan Islam tidak berdiri sendiri tetapi terintegrasi dengan sistem sosial di masyarakat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dan jenis penelitian digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah library research dengan analisis data menggunakan kajian isi (content analysis). Hasil dari penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa lewat pendekatan sosiologis agama akan bisa dipahami dengan mudah, sebab agama itu sendiri diturunkan untuk kepentingan sosial. Pendekatan sosiologi memiliki peranan yang sangat penting dalam usaha untuk memahami dan menggali makna-makna yang sesungguhnya dikehendaki oleh al-Qur’an. Selain disebabkan oleh Islam sebagai agama yang lebih mengutamakan hal-hal yang berbau sosial daripada individual yang terbukti dengan banyaknya ayat al-Qur’an dan Hadis yang berkenaan dengan selain itu.  Pendidikan agama Islam mempunyai posisi penting dalam pembentukan dan melahirkan masyarakat madani, yakni memahamkan Islam secara mendalam dan menyeluruh supaya peserta didik mendapatkan pengetahuan ajaran Islam serta mampu mengamalkan dalam kehidupannya.

Abstract

Moral siswa di SMK Muhammadiyah 6 Donomulyo diketahui mengalami kemerosotan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pengenalan kurikulum ISMUBA untuk membantu siswa mengembangkan kepribadian yang mandiri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji bagaimana pembelajaran ISMUBA di SMK Muhammadiyah 6 Donomulyo Malang berkontribusi terhadap pengembangan karakteristik otonom. Sementara menggunakan metodologi penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, peneliti mengungkapkan berbagai keadaan lapangan terkait dengan penerapan kurikulum ISMUBA di SMK Muhammadiyah 6 Donomulyo. Kepala sekolah, perancang kurikulum, makalah kurikulum ISMUBA, materi kurikulum SMK Muhammadiyah 6 Donomulyo, dan dokumen yang berkaitan dengan kurikulum sekolah merupakan sumber data primer dan sekunder. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian, dapat dikatakan bahwa siswa SMK Muhammadiyah 6 Donomulyo telah terpapar kurikulum ISMUBA dengan cara yang berjalan sesuai rencana dan menjadi rutinitas, sehingga secara bertahap muncul kepribadian mandiri pada siswa. Terbukti dalam pelaksanaannya terdapat beberapa kekurangan, antara lain karena tidak semua guru terlibat aktif dalam pengembangan program ISMUBA.

Abstract

This research aims to understand the holistic curriculum and analyze the development and implementation of a holistic curriculum in Islamic education at MIN 1 Berau. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study research type and data collection techniques using observation and interviews. The research results obtained are First, a holistic curriculum is a comprehensive curriculum that seeks to balance all aspects of life to foster awareness of the relationship with the environment and God, which is the ultimate goal of life. Second, the purpose of Islamic education is to prepare students to carry out the mission given by Allah, namely as caliphs and servants of Allah, so there must be an effort to balance material and spiritual life, individual and social, knowledge and morals, which is by holistic education for balancing all the potential that exists in life. Third, implementing the Holistic Curriculum at MIN 1 Berau has not been carried out comprehensively because education only develops knowledge and has yet to develop the realm of skills and student attitudes.

Abstract

Students of Riverkids Special School Malang have their own uniqueness in studying. They have different learning styles from other regular school students. The learning style of Autistic children is dominantly by memorizing information as it is (rote learner), and autistic students can even understand faster when they are provided with pictures to help them understand the information (visual learner). This study aims to investigate what media the autistic students used to learn how to read Quran at Riverkids Autism Special Schools Malang so they could recite Quran fluently. The study was conducted using three kinds of instruments: interviews, observation, and learning supporting documents. The researcher applied qualitative approach with the type of field research. Triangulation technique was used for data validation testing, which was using RPP (Lesson Plan) for observation, and then triangulation was used to obtain data from the interviews through the main questions asked to the headmaster, subject teachers, and students. The results of the study indicated that Quran learning at Riverkids Autism Special Schools Malang applied visual-based media. The Quran learning process included four stages: first, determining the materials and objectives based on independent curriculum; second, teaching aids adjustment; third, conditioning the class; forth, implementation of learning process.

Abstract

Dalam      Islam, keluarga mempunyai peran yang sangat penting dalam kehidupan manusia, baik dilihat dari pandangan individu maupun menurut pandangan masyarakat. Menurut pandangan individu, keluarga merupakan simbol bagi ciri-ciri yang mulia seperti keimanan yang teguh kepada Allah , pengorbanan, kesediaan berkorban untuk kepentingan kelompok, cinta pada kebaikan, kesetiaan dan lain-lain dari nilai mulia yang dengannya keluarga dapat menolong individu untuk menanamkannya kepada dirinya. Menurut pandangan masyarakat, keluarga merupakan institusi sosial yang terpenting dan merupakan unit sosial yang utama. Melalui individu-individu dalam masyarakat dipersiapkan nilai-nilai kebudayaan, kebiasaan dan tradisinya, dipelihara kelanjutannya, dan melalui keluarga juga kebudayaan dipindahkan dari satu generasi ke generasi selanjutnya.

Abstract

The problem that usually occurs in the learning process is the appearance of boredom dan laziness because the learning model used by the teacher seems monotonous. Teachers can overcome problems related to learning conditions through the use of learning media. This study aims to describe the development procedure and determine the feasibility of Articulate Storyline media in learning Tarikh Islam in Modern Islamic Boarding School Darussalam Gontor 2 Campus For Girls. This study uses a research and development approach with the Borg & Gall model. Data collection techniques with observation, interviews, documentation, and validation. Interviews were conducted with the responsible teacher of Class 1 Intensive. Observations were made in the learning process of the Class 1 Intensive. Documentation in photographs taken as concrete evidence of the learning process. Validation activities are carried out in three steps: preliminary field testing, main field testing, and operational field testing. Preliminary field testing involved a materials expert and a media expert. Main field testing involved ten students of Class 1 Intensive. Operational field testing involved 21 students of Class 1 Intensive. The data analysis techniques used are qualitative descriptive analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis. The result of this study indicates that the media development procedure has been carried out in a detailed and systematic way regarding the ten steps of the Borg & Gall model. The result also shows that the product of Articulate Storyline media development is very feasible when used in the learning process.

Abstract

This research explores the historicity of Muhammadiyah, exploring the ideas of its founding, its historical context, and its impact on Indonesian society. Through a systematic literature review and thematic analysis, this research reveals the basic ideas articulated by Ahmad Dahlan, the founder of Muhammadiyah, by highlighting the theological principles of tajdid and ijtihad. The historical context section examines the emergence of this movement in the socio-political landscape of the early 20th century in Indonesia, emphasizing the impact of Dutch colonial rule and its relationship with global Islamic reformist movements. This research then assesses Muhammadiyah's impact on Indonesian society, including education, social welfare initiatives, and its broader influence in shaping modern Indonesian Islam. Thematic analysis of scientific works shows Muhammadiyah's role in providing holistic education, encouraging intellectual independence, and overcoming social challenges through social welfare programs. The influence of this movement in shaping progressive interpretations of Islam in cultural and societal discourse is also explored. The synthesis of findings underscores the interconnected nature of Muhammadiyah's basic ideas, historical context, and social impact. This movement emerged as a transformative force, dynamically responding to local and global challenges while remaining rooted in its basic principles. This research contributes to scholarly understanding of Islamic reform movements and provides insight into the complex interactions between theological ideals and societal transformation.

Abstract

This research explores strategies to enhance the coherence between curriculum and instruction in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) by employing Robins Fogarty's theory of curriculum integration. Utilizing a qualitative approach with integrating a theoretical study as a research design. Specifically, the study highlights the utility of Fogarty’s tripartite integration model as a critical lens for developing a unified IRE curriculum. This model aims to synchronize disparate content areas, fostering a more integrated and holistic student understanding. For the data sources, the research examined the various theories linked with Forgaty’s theory, and the data analysis was qualitative, in which the research tried to explain and integrate the theory into IRE policy. The findings from the study emphasized the imperative for further applied research to develop integrated lesson plans, explore teachers’ experiences and professional development needs, and assess comprehensive learning outcomes. The research advocates for a collaborative approach between curriculum theorists and educators to refine and advance IRE policies. Such collaborative efforts ensure that IRE promotes intellectual advancement and contributes to students’ spiritual and personal growth, ultimately enriching their educational experience.
