Abstract

This study aims to analyze the linguistic intelligence of students learning Arabic in Islamic universities in Indonesia. The study used a quantitative approach with descriptive research methods, and data were collected through a questionnaire distributed to 264 UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang and 125 students UIN Antasari Banjarmasin students using random sampling techniques. The findings reveal that at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, 34% of the students demonstrated dominant linguistic intelligence, 48% exhibited standard linguistic intelligence, and 18% showed low linguistic intelligence. Similarly, at UIN Antasari Banjarmasin, 34% of the students displayed dominant linguistic intelligence, 53% demonstrated standard linguistic intelligence, and 13% exhibited low linguistic intelligence. These results highlight the importance of addressing variations in linguistic intelligence levels among students in Arabic language education. The practical implications suggest that educators at Islamic universities should design teaching and learning strategies that accommodate these differences, fostering the development of student's interests and talents through appropriate learning systems and methodologies. Future researchers are encouraged to explore linguistic intelligence using qualitative approaches to gain deeper insights into students' learning experiences

Abstract

Background: The integration of Islam and science is the process of unification of various branches of science that exist with an assumption that all components of science come from God, which can be implemented in the learning curriculum in all faculties, including the faculty of medicine and health Sciences in the doctor's education study program. To achieve the vision of realising an integrative doctorate education study program in combining science and Islam of international repute, the integration is implemented in several fields of Education and teaching, including writing the final student project (thesis). Objective : to know the concept of integration of Islam and medicine and its implementation in writing student thesis at the faculty of medicine in ptkin environment. Method: This study uses a qualitative descriptive model to describe the concept of Islamic integration and prayer and its implementation in student thesis in the Medical Education Study Program of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences by sampling ten student thesis in 2020. The results of the study are: 1) The concept used in the integration of Islam and medicine in the final project of students is a model of integration of Islamic Science, which makes the Qur'an and Hadith the foundation of the development of medical science. 2) The concept of integration of Islam and Medicine set out in the thesis writing manual has not been implemented optimally because there are differences in the writing of integration concepts in their final project. Conclusion: The implementation of Islamic Integration and Medicine has not been conceptualized optimally in preparing the final student project (thesis) at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. Keywords: Medicine, Integration, Islam

Abstract

The current of globalization is fast entering the community, especially among teenagers. The influence of globalization on young people is so strong. This influence has demoralized and moral decadence experienced by students in Indonesia. Until now, the Indonesian nation is still faced with a number of problems, especially issues related to morals. To produce a superior generation, it is not unusual for a teacher to educate and instill morality that begins in the souls of students, this can be done by developing character education in the educational environment, namely by integrating character values in learning, including reading learning Arab. Integration of character education in Arabic reading learning is outlined in learning strategies, such as broken text and peer teaching learning strategies, in which the strategies are active, innovative, and fun. While the character values developed in Arabic reading learning are religious, honest, tolerance, independence, democratic, curiosity, communicative/friendly, social care, responsibility, discipline, caring for the environment and respecting achievement.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the level of linguistic verbal intelligence of students who are studying Arabic, because it involves the ability to understand, use, and manipulate language effectively, both orally and in writing. This research uses a mixed method approach to describe students' linguistic verbal intelligence. Data was collected through the IST (Intelligence Structure Test) compiled by Rudolf Amthauer in 1953 in Frankfurt, Germany because the components in the structure are arranged hierarchically, where the dominant field will influence other fields, the dominant ability in the intelligence structure will determine and influence other abilities. It consists of parts that are interconnected in meaning (structure). Their linguistic verbal dominant questionnaire, which was distributed to 520 students at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang using random sampling techniques. The results of the research show that the level of linguistic verbal intelligence of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang students has a value of 103.92 in the sufficient category, where 0.38% of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang students have linguistic verbal intelligence in very superior category, 43,27% have linguistic verbal intelligence in the high category, and 39,42% have linguistic verbal intelligence in the sufficient category. This shows that students' readiness to absorb Arabic language material is closely related to their linguistic verbal intelligence. Meanwhile, the results of research on the most dominant linguistic verbal dominant possessed by students are that 83.65 of students are able to use imaginative reasoning when writing or speaking, 83.19 of students are able to describe an object or event well, 78.15 of students try to tell good stories about many things, 76.88%of students read a text first and store it in memory before writing and speaking, and 76.27 of students like to talk with humor. Verbal linguistic intelligence contributes to Arabic language learning through verbal attraction, concept formation, and logical thinking, which helps students analyze the meaning of sentences, construct arguments, and solve language problems, such as understanding Arabic statements.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the level of student Intelligence Quotient in the Nahwu learning process at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach that measures students' Intelligence Quotient level regarding their mastery of Nahwu material. The data in this research are the results of tests on students' Intelligence Quotient in Nahwu learning. The data sources are students from the Arabic Language Education Study Program and students from the Humanities Study Program. Data collection techniques are questionnaires. The results of this research indicate that the intelligence quotient level of students in the Nahwu learning process at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim is satisfactory, with an average of 75.31. This suggests that students can effectively absorb Nahwu material and develop according to their optimal potential. The percentages are as follows: 7% have superior intelligence, 13% have high intelligence (standard), 53% have average intelligence (normal), 17% have low intelligence (standard), and 10% have below-average intelligence. Thus, the intelligence possessed by the majority of students is relatively standard and tends to be able to follow the Nahwu learning process.
