Abstract

Commuting graph is a graph that has a set of points X and two different vertices to be connected directly if each commutative in G. Let G non abelian group and Z(G) is a center of G. Noncommuting graph is a graph which the the vertex is a set of G\Z(G) and two vertices x and y are adjacent if and only if xy≠yx. The vertex colouring of G is giving k colour at the vertex, two vertices that are adjacent not given the same colour. Edge colouring of G is two edges that have common vertex are coloured with different colour. The smallest number k so that a graph can be coloured by assigning k colours to the vertex and edge called chromatic number. In this article, it is available the general formula of chromatic number of commuting and noncommuting graph of dihedral group

Abstract

This research aims to describe a discourse of female circumcision in Pager village, Purwosari district, Pasuruan. There are two discourses that are described in this research; discourse of fiqh text that consists of books written by Moslem scholar of Syafi'iyah and discourse of social context in the village. This research found that no all fiqh books, which are spread over in society explain about female circumcision. The explanation is only found in advanced fiqih books that seldom be touched by civil society. In fiqh books expressed that majority of Moslem scholar see that female circumcision is religious obligatory either for men and woman. For a while other minority Moslem scholar see that it is obliged to men and recommended to woman. There is a significant difference between the fiqih text and the social context in Pager in explaining the meaning of female circumcision practice. There are three factors that cause the difference; the social and cultural change in the society, the change of thought system in the society, and the lack of knowledge regarding the fiqih text that explains female circumcision.

Abstract

Wali Songo is a clerical preacher who is not only an Islamic prophet but also a carrier of Sufism in Java. This paper reviews sufism in Wali Songo era and the meeting point between sufism and Javanese mysticism. Seen from their teachings, they are adherents of the flow of Sunni Sufism that many adopt the teachings of Imam Al-Ghazali. In developing their teachings they established an educational institution called pesantren, an educational institution which at the same time provides a dormitory as a residence for the santri. In spreading Islam they are easily accepted by the Javanese community. This cannot be separated from the teachings they developed, the teachings of Sufism which have similarities with the mystical teachings held by the people of Java. The meeting point between Sufism and Javanese mysticism is the main factor in the success of Wali Songo’s mission in Java. It results in Javanese Islam, a combination between Islamic teaching and Javanese culture.

Abstract

The brain tumor distribution model with immune cell response is in the form of a non-linear system of ordinary differential equations with five equations. Each equation describes how immune cells in the brain, namely macrophages ( ), CD8+ T cells ( ), TGF-  cytokines ( ) and IFN-  ( ) cytokines interact with tumor cells, namely glioma cells ( ). From the calculation of the equilibrium point, the tumor cell-free conditions (DFE) and the endemic conditions (END) were obtained, in which tumor cells in long-term conditions were always present in the patient's brain. By using certain parameter values, it can be illustrated that the END condition is locally asymptotically stable while the DFE condition is locally unstable. This indicates that brain tumor cells, namely glioma cells ( ) will increase to their maximum value of 882650 cells and remain at that number from day 1000 onwards.

Abstract

Cancer is a disease characterized by abnormal cell mechanisms. The development of alternative cancer treatments is still needed. One of them is the music therapy. The music therapy uses sound vibrations to improve healing. Al-Quran, the Holy book of muslims, recites with measured recitation produces beautiful tones. Reading and recitating of Al-Quran is an important form of worship for which a Muslim can expect reward and benefit in the Hereafter. Al-Fatihah is one of surahs in Al-Qur'an that is often read by Muslims and used as a prayer for healing. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of cytotoxic activity and cell cycle modulation on Hela cells with exposure of murattal Al-Quran and cisplatin combination. Audio exposure murattal Al-Fatihah and its combination with cisplatin to HeLa cells were tested using the MTT method assay. Induction of apoptosis and modulation of cell cycle evaluated by flow cytometry method. Treatment used 30 minutes Audio Murattal (AM), Cisplatin 10 µg/mL (Cis), and the combination of AM + Cis caused a decrease in the viability of HeLa cells respectively 80.14%, 69.86%, and 64.32%. The results of flow cytometry explained that in treatment of AM there was inhibition in the G2-M phase and induction of apoptosis in the M5 phase. Whereas in treatment AM + Cis inhibition occurs in the S, G2-M phase, and induction of apoptosis in the M5 phase. Audio Murattal Al-Quran presents cytotoxic effects on HeLa cells and to provide a synergistic impact on cisplatin so that disclosure therapy murattal can be recommended for supporting therapy in the treatment of cancer (supportive therapy). Keywords: Al-Quran, Audio murottal, HeLa Cells, Cell Viability, Flow cytometry

Abstract

Background: Millions of people die from malaria every year in tropical areas, making it a severe public health concern. Plasmodium, a genus of protozoa with several species, is the main cause of the disease. Humans contract malaria when bitten by female Anopheles sp. mosquitoes. Malaria is one of the world's deadliest diseases. The WHO's 2020 World Malaria Report indicates that there were 229 million cases of malaria globally in 2019, with 409,000 fatalities resulting from the disease. In nine Southeast Asian countries, malaria is endemic. After India, Indonesia is the second most endemic region. Transcription factors such as the HIF-1α protein are produced by hypoxic cells. Patients with malaria have a blockage of the cytoaderenal pathway. Hypoxia occurs due to vascular disorders that prevent oxygen flow to the kidney tissue. Antimalarial drugs are developed in response to the lethal consequences of hypoxia.  Methods: BALB/c mice aged sixteen weeks were infected with the Plasmodium berghei ANKA strain. For six days, the neem leaf 96% ethanol extract was administered orally at doses of 8 mg, 12 mg, and 16 mg. As comparisons, negative, positive, and healthy controls were also included. The kidneys were isolated, and the mice were surgically removed on the seventh day. HIF-2α expression in kidney tissue, which was measured immunohistochemically using Abcam's anti-HIF-2α (H1α67) ChIP Grade antibody, was a characteristic of kidney hypoxia. One-way ANOVA, post-hoc LSD, and Pearson correlation tests were used to assess the hypotheses. Results: Treatment with neem leaf extract significantly decreased oxygen levels (p<0.000).  The correlation test showed a very strong relationship between neem leaf extract and HIF-2α expression in the kidney (r=16.057). Conclusion: Twelve milligrams of neem leaf extract can reduce the risk of renal hypoxia. Keywords: Neem leaves, malaria, degree of parasitemia, hypoxia, Azadirachta indica

Abstract

Penelitian ini menerapkan Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (F-AHP) dan Multi Objective Optimization on the Basis of Ratio Analysis (MOORA) untuk menentukan prioritas kebutuhan tenaga kesehatan pada 20 negara di wilayah Eropa dan Asia Tengah. Enam kriteria digunakan, yaitu jumlah dokter, perawat, bidan, dokter gigi, tenaga farmasi, dan luas daratan. Data diperoleh dari World Health Organization (WHO) dan Worldometer.
