Abstract

The growth of advanced society gave birth to independent community groups. Therefore, social change needs to be anticipated so that people are not dictated by change and are able to act affirmatively. Madrasah as an Islamic educational institution is very important for Indonesia's future to contribute in building civil society. The purpose of this study is to comprehensively assimilate the madrasah strategy as an Islamic educational institution in building civil society. This is a qualitative research with a qualitative-naturalistic approach by collecting data from literature research as well as field research, the data obtained are then followed by stages, namely description, data reduction, data selection, data analysis, discussion, and conclusions. The results of the study showed the strategies of madrasah as Islamic Education institutions to build civil society, namely (1) Madrasah lays the most rational basis for taking internal and external steps by instilling moral law, unity in diversity, community-based social system, with the aim of improving the positive image of madrasah in the community. (2) The systemic role of madrasah realizes civil society with some program: first, organizing a school’s community service program (SKN) in the established target villages with the aim of appreciating the knowledge taught in madrasah to the community. second, the development of religious social skills, students will acquire life skills by carrying out various activities that have the spirit of Islam in the community: educating students to play an active role in society, introducing madrasah to the outside world in order to build a society that is democratic, religious, tolerance, independent and tough to face internal and global challenges towards civil society.

Abstract

Humanitarian values ​​education is a learning approach that focuses on strengthening students' character through simple, meaningful habits, such as praying together, sitting quietly, telling stories, and singing. These habits are not only routine but also a means of forming attitudes and behaviors rooted in humanitarian values. Through these activities, students are trained to cultivate spiritual, emotional, and social awareness that will shape individuals with character. At Sekolah Insan Teladan, humanitarian values ​​education is implemented by emphasizing five main principles that form the basis of education: truth, virtue, peace, compassion, and freedom from violence. The principle of truth encourages students to be honest and consistent in all their actions. Virtue fosters caring and kindness towards others, while peace emphasizes the importance of living in harmony and avoiding conflict. Compassion trains students to have empathy, understand others' feelings, and foster a spirit of mutual assistance. Meanwhile, the principle of freedom from violence teaches respect for differences and the importance of resolving problems peacefully. The results of this study indicate that humanitarian values ​​education can bring about positive changes in students, both in their mindsets, attitudes, and daily behavior. A good education ultimately contributes significantly to shaping the nation's next generation with morals, ethics, and culture. One of the essential goals of education is to foster mental change for the better. Therefore, character education based on humanitarian values ​​is a fundamental necessity in the educational world to produce a generation that is intelligent, moral, and compassionate. Abstrak Pendidikan nilai-nilai kemanusiaan merupakan pendekatan pembelajaran yang berfokus pada penguatan karakter peserta didik melalui kebiasaan-kebiasaan sederhana yang penuh makna, seperti berdoa bersama, duduk tenang, bercerita, dan menyanyi. Kebiasaan ini tidak hanya menjadi rutinitas, tetapi juga sarana pembentukan sikap dan perilaku yang berakar pada nilai kemanusiaan. Melalui aktivitas tersebut, siswa dilatih untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran spiritual, emosional, dan sosial yang akan membentuk pribadi berkarakter. Di Sekolah Insan Teladan, pendidikan nilai-nilai kemanusiaan dijalankan dengan menekankan lima prinsip utama yang menjadi dasar pendidikan, yaitu kebenaran, kebajikan, kedamaian, belas kasihan, dan bebas dari kekerasan. Prinsip kebenaran mendorong siswa untuk bersikap jujur dan konsisten dalam setiap tindakan. Kebajikan menumbuhkan sikap peduli dan berbuat baik kepada sesama, sedangkan kedamaian menekankan pentingnya hidup rukun serta menghindari konflik. Belas kasihan melatih siswa untuk memiliki empati, memahami perasaan orang lain, dan menumbuhkan sikap tolong-menolong. Sementara itu, prinsip bebas dari kekerasan mengajarkan penghargaan terhadap perbedaan serta pentingnya menyelesaikan masalah dengan cara damai. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan nilai-nilai kemanusiaan mampu membawa perubahan positif dalam diri peserta didik, baik dalam pola pikir, sikap, maupun perilaku sehari-hari. Pendidikan yang baik pada akhirnya memberikan kontribusi besar dalam membentuk generasi penerus bangsa yang bermoral, berakhlak, dan berbudaya. Salah satu tujuan penting pendidikan adalah mendorong perubahan mental ke arah yang lebih baik. Oleh karena itu, pendidikan karakter berbasis nilai-nilai kemanusiaan merupakan kebutuhan mendasar dalam dunia pendidikan untuk mencetak generasi yang cerdas, berakhlak, dan saling mencintai.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of online da'wah and community-based religious activities on increasing religious knowledge in the digital era, with the research subjects involving 34 community members. The research instrument used was a questionnaire with 5 indicators for each research variable. Hypothesis testing was conducted through multiple linear regression tests. The results of statistical analysis showed a t-test value of 1.861 with a significance value (Sig.) of 0.073 for the effect of online da'wah on increasing religious knowledge in the digital era. In addition, the F value of 23.312 with a Sig. 0.000 shows that together, online da'wah and community-based religious activities have a significant influence on increasing religious knowledge in the digital era. Thus, it can be concluded that the combination of online da'wah and community-based religious activities has a significant impact on increasing religious knowledge in the digital era in the research community.
