Abstract

Maths is one of the least popular subjects in schools. This research aims to develop an e-learning-based method of learning mathematics through a network (computer network). The e-learning method in learning mathematics is intended to deliver a series of learning solutions that can attract learning interest, and increase knowledge and skills. This research is a qualitative study that produces descriptive data with the research subjects being 30 students of SMP Amir Hamzah Medan class IX-b and 1 mathematics teacher who teaches in the class. The instrument analysis technique uses a validity test which is carried out to determine the level of measurement accuracy of an instrument used in a study. The study results are descriptive statistical test results with the ability of the characteristics of medium, high, and low results based on self-assessment and peer assessment. The utilization of e-learning can bring a new atmosphere to the development of learning to the maximum. It can provide benefits such as shortening learning time and making study costs more economical, facilitating interaction between students and materials, students can share information. They can access learning materials at any time and repeatedly.

Abstract

The development of technology can be used to facilitate many matters. One of them is childbirth in the medical fields. Maternal mortality rate (MMR) is the number of maternal deaths during pregnancy to postpartum caused by pregnancy, childbirth or its management. There are several methods of labors that can be done. The determination of the labor is based on many factors and must be in accordance with the conditions of pregnant patient. Caesarean birth is the last alternative in labor, due to high risk factors. The objective of this research is to predicte and analyse caesarean section using C4.5 and Naïve Bayes classifier models. For experimentation the dataset is collected from UCI Machine Learning Repository and the main attributes represented in this dataset are age, delivery number, delivery time, blood of pressure, and heart problem. The accuracy using C4.5 by 80 training cases is 45% And the accuracy using Naïve Bayes is 50%.

Abstract

Community Service activities have been carried out by several service teams from the Jamiyah Mahmudiyah Langkat Islamic Religious College, at Amir Hamzah Medan Junior High School class VII. This activity applies the reciprocal teaching method of mathematics learning, which is in the form of improving the mathematics learning model by increasing students' critical abilities and learning independence. The learning outcomes of students who apply the reciprocal teaching learning model have significant differences in learning outcomes. This learning approach is proven to contribute to the improvement of critical thinking and student learning independence. In addition, there is a reciprocal relationship between learning independence and critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This analysis aims to examine the impact of shrinkflation practices on consumer perceptions of quality and loyalty to ‘Minyak Kita’ cooking oil products. Shrinkflation is a strategy of reducing product content without adjusting prices, implemented by manufacturers in response to rising production costs. This study employs a qualitative method with a literature review approach from various books and scientific journals. The analysis findings indicate that shrinkflation without clear communication can reduce consumers' perceptions of product quality and trust in the brand. This situation leads to a shift in loyalty from affective loyalty to calculative loyalty, which is more susceptible to brand switching. Additionally, lack of transparency in shrinkflation practices may violate business ethics principles and damage brand image in the long term. Therefore, companies should consider adopting honest communication approaches to maintain sustainable relationships with consumers.

Abstract

This research examines the characteristic values of Amir Hamzah Medan High School students in relation to the environment that has a negative impact on character values, which needs to be balanced with the learning process to form good moral character values. In the learning process morality needs to be formed by researchers who observe the characteristics of the surrounding environment, especially to recognise the nature of each student. This is done through observation, data analysis, and discussion. Buya Hamka's book explains that the values of moral quality today are very different from the past. Today, some young people pay little attention to moral character. Some parents ignore this because of the reduced moral quality in Islam. Therefore, some people today do not attach much importance to morality and consider their actions to be right. Based on this assumption, the researcher observed the environment and used observational information and sources such as Buya Hamka's book to interpret everything related to the characteristic values of moral education. The results of the research data show that the role of parents in educating their children about character values is very important. This means that parents need to better understand good and straight morals.
