Abstract

VAT is a tax component that contributes the most to total tax revenue, this study analyzed the relationship of consumption to VAT receipts, but there are other free control variables such as; the money supply, population, and industrial sector revenues. This study refers to previous research that has been carried out by Harju, Kosonen, and Skans (2018) , entitled about “Firm types, pricesetting strategies, and consumption-tax incidence”. This study uses a Time Series Model, that is : is a forecast of future values based on past values of a variable and past mistakes. Time series models are usually use for forecasting. The research method used is quantitative descriptive, by using the Eviews test tool. Because at the beginning of testing this research experienced problems on the classical assumption test, then to overcome the problem of classical assumption test, the test continues using estimation method Newey-West HAC regression model (heteroscedasticity and autocorrelation consistent) standard error or more often called Newey-West HAC. The results of the study show that consumption as the main independent variable has a significant effect, and the control variable that has influence is the money supply and the industrial sector. the increasing amount of consumption each year can stimulate VAT revenues and economic growth in Indonesia. JEL Classification: H20, H25, H26 Keywords: Consumption, Industrial sector Money Supply, VAT

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

The island of Sumatra and Java Island has excellent attractions and potential in the tourism sector that can improve the regional economy. This great potential needs to be developed to become a developed and developing tourism sector. This study was conducted with the aim of comparing the potential and attractiveness of the tourism sector on the island of Sumatra and Java Island, as well as the development of the tourism sector of Sumatra Island and Java Island. The analytical techniques used in this study are different tests, and sustainability analysis techniques using Micmac software. The results of this study are 1) in the different tests, there are differences in assessments by the people of Sumatra Island and Java Island, including community participation, the condition of tourist attractions, and road conditions; 2) this study classifies several variables that have been broken down from five variable clusters into four topologies, a) determinant variables that have a strong influence, namely infrastructure, and tourist attraction conditions, b) relay variables, namely the type of tourism, c) autonomous variables, namely natural conditions, surrounding conditions, and lodging places, d) dependent variables, namely road conditions, government participation,  community participation, ecology, places to eat, and means

Abstract

Indonesia is an agricultural country, which means that the agricultural sector plays an important role in supporting the national economy. The agricultural sector has a very significant contribution to achieving the goals of the two Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) programs, namely no hunger, achieving food security, improving nutrition and encouraging sustainable agricultural cultivation. Food crops are included in the main products of the agricultural sector in Indonesia. One of the food crops that has an important role as a supporter of food security is the rice commodity. In this study, Indonesia became the object of research using data for 2020 from 34 provinces in Indonesia. In examining the condition of rice availability from 34 provinces in Indonesia, this study used the Multi Criteria Decision Making "PROMETHEE" method with eight criteria or variables namely rice production, rice consumption, population, paddy field area, agricultural technology, GRDP per capita, inflation, and market size. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that of the 34 provinces that have been ranked through outranking, there are 14 provinces that have positive Phi values, and 20 provinces that have negative Phi values. The provinces with the best rice availability were South Sulawesi, Central Kalimantan and East Java, while the provinces with the lowest rice availability were Gorontalo, Papua and DKI Jakarta.

Abstract

The Liberalization of the PUAB Interest Rate is a reference used by banks and applied by the central bank for transactions in the Indonesian money market. The interbank Rate itself can be influenced by several variables, including inflation, the BI Rate and the exchange Rate. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of inflation, BI Rate and exchange rate on changes in interbank rates. The data used in this study is quarterly data from 2009-2019. The method used is the OLS method with multiple linear analysis models. The results of multiple regression analysis show that (1) there is a significant effect between inflation on the PUAB Interest Rate (2) there is no significant effect between the BI Rate on the PUAB Interest Rate (3) there is a significant effect between the exchange rate on the PUAB Interest Rate.
