Abstract

Plant intercropping that interplanted with young palm oil plantation indicated that there was change on ecosystem balance which resulted diversity alteration of insect as bio indicator area. The objective of the research was to obtain information on diversity of insect related to its intercropping system interplanted with young palm oil plantation. The research was conducted from December 2015 to February 2016 at privately-owned oil palm plantation, Kualu district, Kampar regency, Riau province. Descriptive methods by range survey on corn monoculture, soybean monoculture, bera, between corn and soybean intercropping in young palm oil area were used as experimental methods. Insect sampling was conducted by using pitfall trap, sweeping net and hand collection at 16 research units. The result showed that there were ten different insect ordo consisted of 50 families in all intercropping system sampled in this study. Diversity index (H’) reached as high as 3.07 with the best average (E=0.07) that was observed in soybean monoculture. Corn - soybean intercropping posessed the highest point of insect dominance (0.34), which is mean that there was only one kind of insect dominated on the community. The utilization of soybean monoculture system interplanted in young palm oil plantation is best to be used as a reference of ecological indicator on environment utilization, due to the reason that the existence of pest is balanced by the predator.

Abstract

The problem of agricultural crops cultivation today is the productivity of land that has not been optimally, where the availability of land among the main crops should be utilized maximally by planting intercrops. This research aims to determine the cropping patterns and the best of inorganic fertilizers dosage, well as the interaction of cropping patterns with inorganic fertilizer to the growth and yield of sweet corn. The research was conduted from November 2017 until January 2018 in the village of Dundangan, district of Pangkalan Kuras, Pelalawan regency and Agronomic Laboratory of Faculty of Agriculture and Animal Science, Universitas Islam Negeri Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau. This research uses Randomized Block Design (RBD) with two factors and three replications. The first factor is cropping pattern with two levels that is cropping pattern of sweet corn monoculture and cropping pattern of sweet corn with pegagan plant. The second factor is the application of inorganic fertilizers with three levels is 0%, 50% and 100% recommended dosage. The results showed that the cropping pattern of sweet corn planted with intercropping pegagan gave the same results as good with the croping pattern of sweet corn monoculture, except on the parameter of leaf age of 6 weeks after plant which yield more leaf number on monoculture cropping pattern. Inorganic fertilizers application 50% recommended dosage (Urea 250 kg/ha + TSP 175 kg/ha + KCl 150 kg/ha) increased yield weight of corn cobs weighted per plot, corn cob weight without weight per cob and weight of corn cobs without weight per plot.There is not interaction between cropping patterns and inorganic fertilizers on the growth and yield of sweet corn crops.

Abstract

Mustard is one of the horticultural crops that have commercial value and nutritious. The research was done in September to December 2013 in Faculty of Agriculture and Animal Sciences Experimental Garden, State Islamic University of Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau. This research was carried out to study the doses of market waste bokashi, planting period and the interaction both of them to planting mustard plants in verticulture system. Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with five replications was used. Treatments involved two factors, i.e. market waste bokashi doses (0, 150, 300, 450 and 600 g per gutters) and planting period (first and second). Observations were done on six morpho-agronomic characteristics, i.e. plant height, number of leaves, leaf length, leaf width, canopy wet weight and canopy dry weight. The results showed that the giving of bokashi 300 g/gutters in the first planting period gives the best results on plant height (28,88 cm), number of leaves (8,28 strands), leaf length (16,30 cm), leaf width (12,93 cm) and canopy wet weight (37,98 g). Bokashi 600 g per gutters on the second planting period gave similar results by using bokashi 300 g per gutters in the first planting period.

Abstract

Utilization of organic material in crop farming is one of the methods to exploit the local wisdom in agricultural practice. The research was conducted from June to September 2012 in the research farm, State Islamic University of Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau. The objective of the research was to investigate the effects of organic materials and crop density ? in growth and yield on cucumber. Randomized block design with 2 factors and 4 replications was employed in this study. The first factor consists of three levels organic fertilizer treatments i.e. no fertilizer, poultry manure, and compost of oil palm empty bunch. Second factor comprises of three levels of crop density i.e. 1, 2, and 3 plants per pot).. The results showed that there was significant increase on growth and yield on cucumber with poultry manure treatment compare to that of with compost of oil palm empty bunch. Increasing crop density ? improves the number and weight of cucumber yield per pot, even though, some parameters, i.e. number of leaves, stem diameter, crop dry weight, productive number of branches, cucumber size and cucumber weight per plant were significantly decreased.

Abstract

The natural biocontroller such as bokashi and fermented plant extract (FPE) from some plants are the alternatives to substitute fertilizer and pesticide. This biocontroller is really needed in application of sustainable agricultural system. On the other hand, it can produce nutritious food.This research was done in Bokashi Experimental Garden-EM and Biochemist Laboratory FMIPA UNRI Pekanbaru. The method used in this research was randomized complete design, with 7 treatments of giving bokashi and FPE (bokashi + fermented Annona muricataL. extract, bokashi + fermented Andropogon nardus L. extract, bokashi + fermented Ageratum conyzoidesL. extract, bokashi + fermented Ricinus communis. extract, bokashi + fermented of mixing (Annona muricata., Andropogon nardus., Ageratum conyzoides. and Ricinus communis. extract), bokashi without FPE and without giving bokashi or FPE. Each treatment was replicated for three times and every plot consists of 32 plants. The analysis of data was continued with DNMRT 5 %.The results shows that the giving of bokashi and fermented Annona muricata. extract has better influences compared other treatments. It can improve the height of plant, the leaves content, wet weight of plant and increase the vitamin C content. It is also able to minimize the attacks of the phatogen on Brassica alboglabra’s leaves.

Abstract

The research was conducted in the Faculty of Agriculture and Animal Science State University of Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau. This research aimed to determine best ameliorant which can increase the chemical content of peat soil such as pH, N, P, K and decrease C, C/N. The research used random sampling method, there are: without ameliorant, chicken manure fertilizer, compost of oil palm empty fruits bunches, rice husk ash, and bunch ash. The results showed that give rice husk ash and dolomite can increase some nutrient content of peat. Based on result of the research rice husk ash can increase P  from lowest to highest criteria. Giving dolomite increase best pH value, from sour to neutral.

Abstract

Tujuan PKM ini adalah untuk memberdayakan masyarakat supaya dapat membudidayakan tanaman pegagan, juga mengolah tanaman pegagan tersebut sehingga menjadi produk pangan. PKM dilaksanakan di Desa Tanjung Bungo, Kecamatan Kampar Timur, Kabupaten Kampar. Jumlah peserta yang hadir pada saat kegiatan pengabdian berjumlah 15 orang, hal ini dikarenakan turun hujan, sehingga sebagian anggota Kelompok Tani Padusi tidak dapat hadir. Meskipun jumlah yang hadir tidak banyak, namun antusias peserta pelatihan cukup tinggi, hal ini dapat dilihat dari keseriusan peserta dalam mengikuti prosesi pelatihan dari awal sampai akhir. setelah diberikan pelatihan dan dilakukan post test, seluruh anggota peatihan menjadi tahu dengan tanaman pegagan, cara budidaya dan pengolahannya menjadi aneka produk pangan seperti jus pegagan madu, urap pegagan dan keripik pegagan. Abstract

Aplikasi pupuk organik cair (POC) dapat meminimalisir penggunaan pupuk anorganik dan meningkatkan hasil buah terung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dosis, interval waktu pemberian, serta interaksi dosis dan interval waktu pemberian POC kulit pisang kepok yang terbaik pengaruhnya terhadap hasil tanaman terung. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama lima bulan di lahan percobaan dengan menggunakan polibag dan di Laboratorium Agronomi Fakultas Pertanian dan Peternakan UIN Suska, Pekanbaru-Riau. Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dua faktor dengan enam ulangan digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Faktor pertama adalah dosis POC kulit pisang kepok (0, 250, 500, 750 ml/tanaman) dan faktor kedua adalah interval waktu pemberian POC kulit pisang kepok (tiga, enam dan sembilan hari sekali), sehingga berjumlah 72 unit percobaan. Hasil terbaik dalam meningkatkan jumlah daun dan diameter batang tanaman terung diperoleh dari perlakuan dosis POC kulit pisang kepok 500 ml/tanaman. Umur panen terung lebih cepat dengan perlakuan pemberian POC kulit pisang kepok enam hari sekali. Hasil terbaik dalam meningkatkan bobot buah terung per tanaman dan jumlah buah terung per tanaman diperoleh dari adanya interaksi pemberian POC kulit pisang kepok dosis 500 ml/tanaman dan interval waktu enam hari sekali. Disarankan menggunakan POC kulit pisang kepok dosis 500 ml/tanaman dan interval waktu pemberian enam hari sekali dalam budidaya terung secara organik. The application of liquid organic fertilizer (POC) can minimize the use of inorganic fertilizers and increase eggplant yield. This study aims to determine the dose, time interval, and the interaction between dose and time interval for POC kepok banana peel, which has the best effect on eggplant yield. This research was carried out for five months in an experimental field using polybags and at the Agronomy Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture and Animal Science, UIN Suska, Pekanbaru-Riau. A two-factor, completely randomized design (CRD) with six replications was used in this study. The first factor was the dose of POC kepok banana peel (0, 250, 500, 750 ml/plant), and the second factor was the time interval for giving POC kepok banana peel (every three, six and nine days) so that there were 72 experimental units. The best results in increasing the number of leaves and stem diameter of eggplant plants were obtained from the POC treatment of banana peel kepok 500 ml/plant. Eggplant harvest age is faster with the treatment of giving POC kepok banana peels every six days. The best results in increasing eggplant fruit weight per plant and the number of eggplant fruit per plant were obtained from the interaction of POC kepok banana peels with a dose of 500 ml/plant and every six days. It is recommended to use POC kepok banana peels at a dose of 500 ml/plant and a time interval of six days in organic eggplant cultivation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on company performance and the role of the happiness index as a mediating variable. The happiness index has become a measure of well-being. Happiness is something abstract and qualitative but is starting to be used as a measuring tool. This research was conducted on energy sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2019 to 2023, using a purposive sampling method involving 24 companies. Data was obtained from the company's financial statements, the World Happiness Report publication, and the Indonesian Statistics. Quantitative data analysis was carried out using the SmartPLS program. The results showed that CSR has no significant effect on company performance or the happiness index, while the happiness index has a significant effect on company performance. However, the happiness index does not mediate the relationship between CSR and corporate performance.

Abstract

Akuntan adalah salah satu profesi yang diramalkan oleh para ahli akan tergantikan perannya oleh teknologi pada masa yang akan datang. Hal ini tentu saja menjadi tantangan bagi kampus-kampus yang membuka program studi akuntansi dan mahasiswa-mahasiswa akuntansi. Walaupun kondisi tersebut merupakan sebuah ramalan, tetapi ramalan tersebut dihasilkan setelah para ahli melakukan penelitian-penelitian. Faktanya, telah ada beberapa profesi yang mulai berkurang permintaannya, misalnya tenaga supporting dalam industri perbankan. Kondisi inilah yang menyebabkan ramalan-ramalan tersebut bukan isapan jempol semata. Tentu saja tantangan tersebut harus dijawab dengan persiapan-persiapan yang matang, sehingga ketika ramalan itu mulai terwujud, kampus-kampus, mahasiswa-mahasiwa dan lulusan-lulusan program studi akuntansi telah siap menghadapi kondisi tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur sejauh mana mahasiswa program akuntansi mengetahui tantangan tersebut. Dengan mengetahui sejauh mana mengetahui tantangan tersebut, maka kampus-kampus yang membuka program studi akuntansi, khususnya program studi akuntansi di lingkungan Universitas Lancang Kuning mulai merancang dan merencanakan langkah-langkah untuk mengantisipasi tantangan tersebut. Misalnya dengan membuka mata kuliah yang berkaitan dengan Accounting Artificial Intelligence. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kesiapan teknologi ternyata tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap pengetahuan teknologi Artificial Intelligence dalam bidang akuntansi.
