Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis aspek gender dari peran guru Bimbingan Konseling dalam pelaksanaan konseling online bagi siswa sekolah menengah dimasa pandemic. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Data primer dikumpulkan dengan wawancara semi terstruktur pada tiga guru BK perempuan dan tiga guru BK laki-laki, yang memiliki latar pendidikan, umur, dan masa bertugas yang sama, namun bertugas di sekolah menengah atas yang berbeda. Data hasil wawancara dianalisis secara tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Guru BK (perempuan dan laki-laki) melakukan konseling online selama masa pandemic menggunakan aplikasi synchronous (seperti zoom, google meet, whatsapp chat, video call, dan telephone) dan asynchronous (seperti email, e learning). Masalah belajar  paling banyak dibicarakan siswa dalam konseling online pada guru BK perempuan dan laki-laki. Siswa perempuan lebih banyak menjadi klien dalam konseling online dibandingkan siswa laki-laki, dan mereka tidak membedakan jenis kelamin guru BK. Guru BK perempuan lebih cepat merespon siswa dalam konseling online via chat dibandingkan guru BK laki-laki, ini menunjukkan empati, guru BK perempuan lebih tinggi dibanding guru BK laki-laki.

Abstract

The present study was carried out to analyze the digital literacy for pre-service natural science teachers through a workshop on optimizing the use of Microsoft office software. This study explored an experimental method with the one-group pretest-posttest design. The current research adopted 25 students as the pre-service natural science teachers in the Natural Sciences Study Program of the Tarbiyah and Teaching Faculty of the Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau State Islamic University. The data were collected through providing instruments of multiple-choice tests on the pretest and posttest, questionnaire, and interview to measure the improvement of digital literacy. To analyze the data, a technique to calculate the mean score of the normalized gain (N-gain) was performed. The findings disclosed that the mean score of N-gain digital literacy for pre-service natural science teachers was 0.70 with the high category. Based on results obtained in this line of research, it is therefore concluded that there was an improvement in the digital literacy for pre-service natural science teachers with high category through the workshop on optimizing the use of Microsoft Office software.

Abstract

Di abad 21 ini guru harus mengembangkan literasi digital, terutama dalam menciptakan media pembelajaran. Pelatihan membuat media pembelajaran menggunakan Canva diadakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dan literasi digital guru di SDN 9 Nagrikaler, Purwakarta. Kegiatan ini berjalan dalam 3 fase yakni pra pelatihan, pelatihan dan pasca pelatihan. Tahap pra pelatihan yakni tahap persiapan, seperti penyusunan acara, mengurus perizinan, mempersiapkan materi dan kuesioner. Tahap Pelaksanaan atau inti kegiatan pelatihan, dimulai dengan pemberian kuesioner pra pelatihan, pematerian, serta pelatihan dan pembimbingan pembuatan media pembelajaran digital menggunakan Canva. Terakhir tahap pasca pelatihan atau evaluasi yakni pemberian kuesioner pasca pelatihan, penugasan/pembuatan proyek oleh peserta, serta pengaplikasian media pembelajaan tersebut dalam pembelajaran. Hasil pelatihan ini menunjukkan bahwa 85% guru memberikan persepsi positif serta tertarik untuk menggunakan Canva untuk membuat media pembelajaran digital dan 85% guru berpendapat bahwa Canva mudah digunakan dan meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik. Berdasarkan pelaksanaan pelatihan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan Canva ini dapat meningkatkan kemampuan literasi digital guru serta dapat menambah keberagaman media pembelajaran untuk memotivasi belajar peserta didik. Pelatihan canva ini memiliki dampak terhadap pembelajaran diantaranya guru dapat mengetahui cara pembuatan media pembelajaran yang lebih kreatif, pembelajaran menjadi lebih berkreasi dan tidak monoton, terdapat perubahan dari pembelajaran yang hanya biasa saja menjadi lebih baik dan menyenangkan.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the process of making ethnofood lomang and the scientific elements contained in this traditional food culture. The research used is descriptive qualitative research with a case study method or approach. Data collection techniques using observation and interview methods. The results of the study show local wisdom to know the process of making lomang. The process of making lomang through several stages. Among them are the selection of tolang bamboo and banana shoots, and the washing of tolang bamboo and pulut rice. Furthermore, before the roasting process, the lamang to be burned must be given coconut milk and first tied the top of the excess banana leaf at the base of the bamboo. Keywords : Local Wisdom, Ethnoscience, Ethnofood for Making Lomang, Science Learning

Abstract

STEAM-based learning (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) is a learning approach that combines these five fields of science in one learning activity. This approach aims to develop students’ critical thinking, creative and problem-solving skills. The current study seeks to analyze teacher responses in implementing STEAM-based learning media to improve the quality of learning in Riau Malay Culture subjects. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to elementary school teachers who teach Riau Malay Culture subjects in Pekanbaru City, Riau. The research results show that teachers have a positive response to the implementation of STEAM-based learning media. Teachers assess that STEAM-based learning media can improve the quality of learning in Riau Malay Culture subjects. This is because STEAM-based learning media can make learning more interesting, interactive and meaningful for students. However, it should be noted that teachers are necessary to possess a deep understanding of the STEAM approach in order to pursue effective implementation. Therefore, there needs to be support from the school in providing the facilities and infrastructure needed to implement STEAM-based learning media.

Abstract

Teaching materials can assist teachers in achieving learning objectives. However, teaching materials integrated with Quranic verses in science learning are still limited. This research aims to produce products in the form of electronic teaching materials (e-modules) based on STREAM (Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) on the topic of magnetism. The existence of STREAM-based and attractively presented e-module products is expected to support students' self-learning. Through the research and development (R&D) method, reseachers adopt the Borg and Gall R&D method, which is limited to the fifth step, namely the initial main product revision. The results showed 85% valid in terms of teaching materials, 95% valid in terms of preparation of teaching materials, 86% valid in terms of integration of science in the Quran and 95% declared practical. Thus, it can be concluded that the e-module-based STREAM is valid and practical to implement during science learning on the topic of magnetism. The integration of Qur’an verses in e-modules helps connect science with religious values and expects to provide contextual learning experiences for junior high school students. This e-module-based STREAM for junior high school science e-module on the topic of magnetism presents an innovative approach in STREAM-based learning and improves the quality and efficiency of the teaching-learning process. The integration of the latest technology is expected to facilitate interactive, collaborative and effective learning experiences, thus improving significant learning outcomes.
