Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan terhadap motivasi dan kinerja guru SDN Gugus IV di Kota Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasional dengan yang membuktikan apakah ada pangaruh variabel kepemimpinan terahadap motivasi kerja dan kinerja guru, pengaruh motivasi terhadap kinerja guru dan akan membuktikan apakah variabel motivasi dapat menjadi variabel moderasi yagn secara signifikan terhadap variabel kepemimpinan dan variabel kinerja guru. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh Guru SDN Gugus IV Pekanbaru, sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 99 guru yang terdiri dari Guru 36 guru SDN 182, 33 Guru SDN 17 dan 30 Guru SDN 191. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner yang disebarkan secara langung kepada responden yaitu guru SDN 182, 17, 191. Ada dua teknis analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu regresi sederhana dan analisis jalur dengan pendekatan Sobel Test. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan variabel kepemimpinan terhadap motivasi dan kinerja guru, motivasi berpengaruh secara signfikan terhadap kinerja guru SDN Gugus IV Pekanbaru, dan variabel motivasi dapat menjadi variabel moderasi yang signifikan dalam memoderasi variabel kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja guru.

Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemahaman mahasiswa tadris IPA mengenai konsep perkembangan janin dalam perspektif Islam dan sains. Jenis penelitian menggunakan design survey. Penelitian dilakukan di prodi tadris IPA dengan mengambil sampel secara acak sehingga didapat 30 orang mahasiswa yang telah mempelajari konsep IPA dalam perspektif Islam dan sains. Instrumen pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan angket yang sudah divalidasi terdiri dari 15 pernyataan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman mahasiswa tadris IPA tentang konsep perkembangan janin dalam perspektif Islam dan sains termasuk kategori tinggi.Abstract:This study aims to determine the understanding of Tadris IPA students about the concept of fetal development in Islamic and scientific perspectives. This type of research uses survey design. The study was conducted at the Natural Sciences Tadris Study Program by taking a random sample so that 30 students were obtained who had studied the science concept in Islamic and scientific perspectives. The research data collection instrument used a validated questionnaire consisting of 15 statements. The results of the analysis showed that Tadris IPA's students' understanding of the concept of fetal development in Islamic and scientific perspectives was high.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to explore the concepts and models of integration implemented by Islamic Science University of Malaysia (USIM). USIM was chosen as the focus of this study because of its firm commitment to the implementation of integration. For instance, the USIM vision statement makes it clear that the university has an ambition to become a “leader in the integration of naqli and aqli knowledge”. The method of data collection used in this study involved the analysis of document and interviews. Documentation was used to obtain data related to integration concepts and models applied in USIM. Then, interviews were conducted to gather information from key informant to supplement the findings from the documentation. It was found that the integration concepts and models applied at USIM consist of four categories or levels namely: al-nusus (ayatization), al-muqaranah (comparison), al-taqyim (adaptation) and at-tafaqquh (integration). These four concepts were have been implemented in detail in the learning process, as well as in research and community development.

Abstract

Forest fires are one of the most frequent environmental problems in Riau province, which often comes in large scale; thus, they cause forest degradation that damages economic, ecological and social aspects. The forest fires in Riau primarily caused by weak regulations and their enforcement and the lack of an optimum system or institutional mechanisms to address this issue. One alternative solution that is often forgotten is the role of education in forest fires prevention, particularly in the education of local wisdom. The education is required to minimize the risk of forest and land fires; hence it could be used a reference for the Riau government. This study aimed to identify and analyze local wisdom in the community to prevent forest and land fires, including the challenges, potentials, and solutions.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan studi analisis tentang pengaruh penerapan pendekatan saintifik berbantuan media komik terhadap hasil belajar IPA pada siswa SMP. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode meta-analisis. Meta-analisis  merupakan hasil analisis dari artikel-artikel dari jurnal nasional yang sudah terakreditasi pada sinta 1 hingga sinta 4 yang memiliki topik kajian berkaitan dengan pendekatan saintifik dan media komik dalam pembelajaran IPA sebanyak 15 artikel jurnal. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data didapatkan hasil bahwa penerapan pendekatan saintifik berbantuan media komik dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar, keterampilan berpikir ilmiah, meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa dan efektif meningkatkan literasi sains siswa.

Abstract

This study aims at identifying the radicalism potential in senior high school students or equivalent levels including secondary schools and vocational schools in Riau Province. This study uses a survey design involving 230 students selected through random sampling consisting of 65 senior high school students, 100 vocational high school students, and 65 Islamic senior high school students. The collected data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The findings showed the radicalism potential of 20% in secondary school students, of 30.5% in vocational school students, and of 19.8% in Islamic secondary school students. Around 23.4% of the students were identified to have radicalism potential such as having fundamentalist behavior. The percentage obtained in this study is hoped to encourage the teaching of religious tolerance, universal morality, and formal education. Another implication for the people who are related to the education of youth is that they should pay more attention more to difficult social issues, especially those that are relevant to the use of social media.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi potensi radikalisme pada siswa SMA/MA di Provinsi Riau. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan potensi radikalisme pada siswa SMA 20%, siswa SMK 30,5%, dan siswa MAN Islam 19,8%. Sekitar 23,4% siswa diidentifikasi memiliki potensi radikalisme seperti berperilaku fundamentalis. Persentase yang didapat dalam penelitian ini kurang sehingga diharapkan dapat dilaksanakan pengajaran tentang pentingnya toleransi beragama, akhlak, dan pendidikan formal. Abstract

This article is based on the limited number of reading materials and instructions in using a laboratory facility, so the development of media and learning resources is important to be updated using the encyclopedia and videos as the learning resources in the form of QRCode. Therefore, this article aimed to develop media and learning resources by using a QRCode to improve digital literacy. This article used the Plomp model consisting of problem identification and analysis phase, development and prototyping phase, and assessment phase. The data were collected by distributing an online questionnaire and analyzed by using the descriptive-quantitative method. Based on this development study QR Code-based student worksheets fulfilled the practicality of 83.40% in the ‘practical’ category and the effectiveness seen from the score of the students’ literacy skills of 78.89% in the “Good/ Effective” category. The implication of this study is producing a product with a novelty and can be a reference for conducting effective and efficient learning.

Abstract

One of the activities of professional development for teachers is Scientific Publication. Nonetheless, many teachers have a problem with writing scientific work. Therefore, this community service was done to improve the teachers’ scientific publication through the writing process of a scientific article for journal publication. The type of community service in this research is Participatory Action Research (PAR). The activity of this community service was to provide training/assistance for improving the scientific publication. It was conducted in the form of providing training in article writing for the journal to the teachers in Islamic schools in Teluk Kuantan, especially MAN 1 Teluk Kuantan and it involved 25 teachers. The result of this community service was that the teachers as the training participants had a minimum initial understanding of journal articles and the use in improving learning quality in a class. The average indicator as a whole was only 23.725 and it was categorized as infrequent. All indicators that were questioned were in the ‘infrequent’ category. Meanwhile, based on gender-based motivation, it was found that both genders of the training participant had a motivation that was categorized as ‘frequent’ in participating in the training. However, there was a difference in the aspect for the indicator of being confident to be able to participate well and the readiness of sufficient basic knowledge. The implication of this community service is the importance of this activity and the like for the people to change the mindset and the understanding of the teachers as the training participants to be better.

Abstract

Some MI teachers do not understand about the expanding universe in Islamic and scientific perspectives. So the authors are interested in raising the analysis of this problem. The aim of the study was to find out the understanding of teachers and prospective MI teachers in the field of science studies about the expanding universe in Islamic and scientific perspectives. The type of this research is survey research. Which research phase used is quantitative descriptive. Analysis of the data is to calcify data, test hypotheses, analyze findings and make conclusions. Based on the results of the questionnaire it was found that the teacher's understanding of the universe expanded in Islamic perspective and science were in the category of understanding.
