Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the work environment on employee morale at the Gowa Regional SAMSAT Office. Using a quantitative research design, the study involved a saturated sample of 43 employees, representing the entire population of staff working at the office. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using simple linear regression with SPSS version 27. The results show that the work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee morale, indicated by a regression coefficient of 0.683 with a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.608 demonstrates that 60.8% of the variation in employee morale is explained by the work environment, while the remaining 39.2% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. These findings highlight the importance of creating a conducive work environment—through improvements in workspace conditions, temperature control, and interpersonal relationships—to enhance employee morale and productivity.

Abstract

This study examines how the rapid development of the digital economy has transformed market structures in Indonesia while simultaneously creating new challenges in the form of digital monopolistic practices characterized by the concentration of data, algorithms, and network effects among large digital platforms. The study aims to analyze the relevance of digital monopoly practices to the concept of ihtikar in Islamic economics, identify the limitations of existing public policies in addressing platform dominance, and formulate the Digital Hisbah Framework as an alternative policy model. Employing a qualitative normative-descriptive approach with a library research method, the study draws data from competition law regulations, digital economy policies, and Islamic economic literature. The collected data were analyzed using content analysis and comparative policy analysis. The findings reveal that digital monopoly practices share substantial similarities with the concept of ihtikar, as both involve the concentration and control of economic resources that may restrict market access, hinder fair competition, and undermine public welfare. Furthermore, Indonesia’s current competition policy framework still faces significant limitations in addressing algorithmic manipulation, data concentration, and the increasing dependence of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) on digital platforms. Based on these findings, the study proposes the Digital Hisbah Framework, which integrates the principles of al-hisbah, market justice, transparency, equitable data governance, and MSME protection into the supervision of digital markets. This framework is expected to provide a more adaptive policy model for fostering a fair, transparent, competitive, and public welfare-oriented digital ecosystem.

Abstract

The digital transformation of zakat management has become an important policy agenda in Indonesia to improve the efficiency, transparency, and accessibility of Islamic social finance institutions. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of zakat management digitalization policies in increasing the collection of Zakat, Infaq, and Alms (ZIS) funds in Indonesia. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach using secondary data derived from zakat regulations, digital transformation blueprints, BAZNAS annual reports for the period 2021–2025, and relevant scientific literature. Data were collected through documentation and systematic literature review and analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that digitalization policies have significantly improved ZIS collection through the expansion of digital payment channels, enhancement of transparency and accountability, and integration of management information systems and big data. These innovations have increased public trust, strengthened donor loyalty, and expanded the participation of younger generations in digital philanthropy. From the perspectives of the Technology Acceptance Model, Trust Theory, and Maqasid al-Shariah, digitalization contributes to reducing transaction costs, enhancing institutional legitimacy, and accelerating the distribution of social funds for public welfare. Nevertheless, several challenges remain, including digital inequality, uneven technological capacity among zakat institutions, and cybersecurity concerns. Therefore, future policies should emphasize inclusive digital governance, digital literacy enhancement, and institutional capacity building to ensure equitable and sustainable development of zakat management. Overall, the study demonstrates that digitalization policies have become a strategic instrument for strengthening Islamic social finance and promoting social welfare in Indonesia.

Abstract

Agricultural transactions conducted before harvest remain a common practice among rural communities as a strategy to address financial needs and maintain farming activities. This study aims to analyze mukhadarah practices among mango farmers in Marayoka Village, Jeneponto Regency, from the perspective of Islamic economics and examine their relevance to sustainable agricultural development policies. This study employed a qualitative approach using a case study design. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving farmers, buyers, religious leaders, and village officials. Data analysis followed the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, consisting of data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that mukhadarah transactions are conducted through the sale of mango fruits before harvest based on estimated production and mutually agreed prices. The practice provides economic benefits by enabling farmers to obtain quick access to capital and reducing marketing risks. From the perspective of Islamic economics, mukhadarah fulfills the principles of mutual consent (an-taradhin) and contractual agreement, although it still contains potential elements of gharar due to uncertainty regarding the quantity and quality of future harvests. Furthermore, the practice contributes to sustainable agricultural development by supporting the continuity of farming activities and improving farmers' access to financial resources. Therefore, strengthening the principles of justice, transparency, and risk-sharing mechanisms is essential to ensure that mukhadarah practices provide greater welfare for farmers while supporting sustainable agricultural development
