Abstract

Inflation is an economic condition that countries around the world cannot avoid. Including from developing countries to developed countries. Many economists discuss the problem of inflation in their economic thinking. One of the famous Islamic economists with his theory of inflation is Al-Maqrizi, namely Taqiyuddin Abu Al-Abbas Ahmad bin Ali bin Abdul Qadir Al-Husaini. This figure said that the cause of inflation was natural inflation, namely inflation that had an impact on natural influences such as natural disasters. Thus, natural disasters are outbreaks of the Covid-19 virus and economic transactions are blocked in all sectors, even the economy. This is not going as smoothly as usual Conditions that have an impact on increasing the prices of many other goods and services. This resulted in food shortages, various diseases and death among the people. Human error inflation, namely inflation caused by human error, in this article only focuses on post-pandemic inflation. This causes economic paralysis in various countries around the world and inflation, which can even turn into deflation. But this time the focus is on the post-Covid-19 pandemic, especially in Indonesia.

Abstract

Survival based on the values of “Toto Kromo” is a strategy that is not least performed by Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to survive and exist in the digital era. However, this strategy has not been comprehensively discussed in previous studies. This study also focuses on the question “How is the survival strategy based on the values of “Toto Kromo” applied by conventional SMEs to survive amid the massive online-based buying and selling activities in the digital era?” In order to answer this question, this study uses a descriptive qualitative approach in exploring communication, service, and economic transaction strategies carried out by conventional MSMEs in the digital era. This study highlights three important strategies carried out by conventional MSMEs based on “Toto Kromo” values to survive and exist in the digital era. First, the communication is more persuasive, relational, and interactive with buyers. Second, the services are more solutive, active, and supportive with buyers. Third, transactions are more negotiative, accommodating, and effective with buyers.

Abstract

This article aims to illustrate the power of Ramadan as a social space where the Muslim community can reproduce piety. Data were obtained through interviews, documentation, and surveys. The findings of this study highlight two important aspects that characteristically mark Ramadan as a social space. First, Ramadan has become a social arena for Muslims where piety and generosity suddenly emerge as identities continually contested by Muslims. Second, the sudden social patterns of piety and generosity observed among Muslims during Ramadan are shaped by the intersection of religion and local traditions such as padusan and balimau, nyadran and ziarah kubro, along with perlon unggahan and magengan. Therefore, with these findings, we assert that Ramadan not only functions as a social arena but also becomes a third space where society blends religion and tradition, simultaneously strengthening their identity and social status throughout the month of Ramadan

Abstract

The rapid growth of e-commerce has changed the modern retail sector dramatically over the past few decades. The recent evolution of the physical retail market, driven by a shift in consumer shopping behavior to online shopping, has caused more and more traditional stores to close. This research aims to determine the transformation and resilience of traditional markets amidst the existence of E-commerce. This type of research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with analytical techniques in the form of content analysis. The research results show that in facing the challenges of this transformation, traditional markets need to adapt by entering the digital realm. Despite being faced with obstacles such as lack of digital literacy, limited resources, and infrastructure constraints, efforts to overcome these obstacles reflect the resilience of traditional markets in facing change. The resilience of traditional markets is reflected in their ability to adapt to new technology, collaborate between business players and government, increase digital literacy, innovate to maintain competitiveness, manage privacy and data security risks, and develop resources through an inclusive financial approach. The government's role is very important in encouraging transformation and facilitating the resilience of traditional markets through support policies, training programs and infrastructure facilitation. In this way, traditional markets can continue to develop, remain an integral element in the economic ecosystem, while maintaining and preserving their cultural and social identity.
