This study highlights three important strategies carried out by conventional MSMEs based on “Toto Kromo” values to survive and exist in the digital era. First, the communication is more persuasive, relational, and interactive with buyers. Second, the services are more solutive, active, and supportive with buyers. Third, transactions are more negotiative, accommodating, and effective with buyers.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the topics of articles published in Google Scholar and Dimensions journals with the keyword "Islamic macroeconomics" and identify the extent of the development of research on Islamic macroeconomics and its relation to various fields as well as analyze new topics that are novel so that they can be developed for further research. This research is quantitative research with bibliometric analysis. This research data is secondary data in the form of a journal database from Google Scholar and Dimensions. The research results show that the Google Scholar database based on network visualization analysis proves that there is a link between macroeconomics and Islamic macro indicators and variables in general. This finding is proven by the many Islamic macroeconomics variables found in each cluster. In the density visualization analysis, there are the terms of inflation, conventional bank, return and Islamic finance, which are topics that have been widely researched during 2014-2023. Meanwhile, in the database dimensions in the network visualization analysis shows that Islamic banking, financing, and exchange rates are closely interconnected. New contributions from this research include identifying emerging topics such as zakat, Islamic commercial banks, Islamic capital markets, Islamic stock markets, and Islamic stocks. Using the ARDL method and density visualization analysis, this study concludes that Islamic banking is the most frequently discussed topic in relation to Islamic macroeconomics.

Abstract

This paper is to examine the appropriateness of implementing halal tourism in the Dama Batang Park tourist attraction in accordance with the standardized criteria outlined in DSN MUI fatwa No. 16 of 2016. This research methodology employs qualitative techniques, utilizing field research and exploratory analysis for data processing. The study utilizes both primary and secondary data sources. Primary data sources are derived directly from observational interviews with management of the Dama Batang Park tourist attraction, while secondary sources are extracted from DSN-MUI Fatwa No. 16 of 2016, books, and publications published in the Open Journal System (OJS) concerning halal tourism. The data analysis technique applied involves a series of steps, including classification, exposing data, verifying the data obtained through the analysis of standardization values with the results of field findings, and producing conclusions from the data that has been collected and presented. The results of these findings explain that several standardization values have been written in the fatwa so that it becomes a reference in assessing whether the tourist attraction is halal or not. Then after being analyzed, in general, the Dama Batang Park tourist attraction has met the criteria as a halal tourist attraction, but several shortcomings can be resolved immediately such as the community selling merchandise that does not have a halal certificate and the use of e-money in transactions, the community still uses conventional financial institutions.

Abstract

Islamic social finance (ISF) plays an important role in achieving sustainable development goals (SDGs) through financing mechanisms based on fair, transparent, and inclusive sharia principles. This article aims to explore the contribution of ISF to the achievement of the SDGs, focusing on how Islamic financial instruments, such as zakat, waqf, sedekah, and sukuk, can help address global challenges, especially in terms of poverty alleviation, social equity, and environmental sustainability. Through a literature review and analysis of various case studies, this study shows that ISF can not only accelerate the achievement of economic goals but also significantly improve social welfare and environmental sustainability. With its foundation of social justice and welfare distribution, Islamic social finance provides an effective alternative in creating economic inclusion, redressing social inequality, and supporting environmentally friendly sustainability programs. This study also identifies challenges and opportunities in optimizing the role of ISF in the context of the SDGs. It provides policy recommendations to enhance synergy between the Islamic financial sector and the implementation of the SDGs.

Abstract

DSN-MUI Fatwa No. 108 of 2016 provides the legal framework for sharia tourism management in Indonesia, enabling tourism managers to enhance services and standards in managing tourist attractions and halal destinations. Tourism management falls under the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, ensuring tourism aligns with sharia standards. However, challenges remain in implementing the fatwa as a reference for managing tourist attractions, with some elements applied before its issuance and others yet to be realized. This study examines the alignment between DSN-MUI Fatwa No. 108 of 2016 on sharia tourism and the 2019–2024 strategic plan for halal tourism development by the ministry. Using a qualitative descriptive method, it analyzes the alignment of the fatwa’s provisions with its implementation. The findings reveal that the 2019–2024 strategic plan includes developing halal tourism destinations by providing amenities and services that meet the needs of Muslim tourists, such as water for purification, halal food, prayer facilities, tour packages, and visitor guides. The plan also emphasizes broader halal tourism development and branding destinations as halal hubs. These principles align with the DSN-MUI fatwa’s guidelines for sharia-based tourism management, particularly regarding tourist destinations. Moreover, the vision, mission, and strategies in the strategic plan demonstrate synergy and editorial consistency with the fatwa’s provisions.
