Abstract

AbstrakPendidikan dan budaya adalah sesuatu yang tidak dapat dipisahkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Etnomatematika hadir untuk menjembatani antara budaya dan pendidikan khususnya dalam pembelajaran matematika.Tanpa disadari masyarakat telah melakukan berbagai aktivitas dengan meggunakan konsep dasar matematika dan ide-ide matematis.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis eksplorasi etnomatematika budaya dan adat istiadat kabupaten Ende agar diperoleh informasi dasar dalam pengembangan ilmu etnomatematika terhadap pembelajaran matematika.  Penelitian ini merupahkan penelitian Deskriptif Kualitatif, menggunakan metode studi lapangan, wawancara dan studi dokumen. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis model Miles and Huberman. Aktivitas dalam analisis data yaitu data reduction, data display, dan conclusion drawing/verification.Berdasarkan kajian terhadap budaya Ende  di peroleh beberapa unsur  Etnomatematika di antaranya  geometri bidang, Geometri Ruang, pola bilangan dan satuan  berat.Penelitian sebenarnya masih belum mendalami, di sarankan bagi peneliti lanjutan agar di galih lebih mendalam terkait sruktur, filosofis dalam kehidupan masyarakat Kabupaten Ende. Kata kunci: Eksplorasi; etnomatematika; sumber belajar. Abstract Education and culture are something that cannot be separated in everyday life. Ethnomathematics is here to bridge between culture and education, especially in learning mathematics. Without realizing it, the community has carried out various activities using basic mathematical concepts and mathematical ideas. This study aims to study and analyze the ethnomathematical exploration of the culture and customs of Ende district in order to obtain basic information in the development of ethnomathematical science towards learning mathematics. This research is a qualitative descriptive research, using the methods of field studies, interviews and document studies. Analysis of the data used is the analysis of the Miles and Huberman model. Activities in data analysis are data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. further researchers to explore more deeply related to structure, philosophy in the life of the people of Ende Regency. Keywords:   Ethnomathematics; exploration;  learning resources.

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat peran serta dari orang tua dalam meningkatkan minat belajar anak untuk mata pelajaran matematika yang berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar matematika anak setelah masa pandemic berakhir. Penelitian yang digunakan merupakan deskriptif kualitatif, yang menjadi subjek dlaam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik/I SMP yang bertempat tinggal di wilayah RT. 003, RW. 003 Kelurahan Tetandara Kabupaten Ende dengan jumlah 17 orang yang terdiri dari 9 peserta didik dan 8 siswi dengan sekolah yang berbeda dan orang tua yang berbeda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peran yang diberikan orang tua dalam proses pembelajaran matematika berupa memberikan bimbingan dan arahan, memberikan nasihat, mengawasi proses belajar, dan memenuhi fasilitas anak sebagai peserta didik dapat menumbuhkan minat anak yang dlihat dari perasaan senang, perhatian, ketertarikan dan keterlibatan anak dalam proses pembelajaran matematika yang dilaksanakan secara online. Kata kunci: Pembelajaran matematika; peran orang tua; minat belajar. Abstract The purpose of this study was to see the role of parents in increasing children's interest in learning mathematics which affects children's mathematics learning outcomes after the pandemic period ended. The research used is descriptive qualitative, the subjects of this research are junior high school students who live in the RT area. 003, RW. 003 Tetandara Village, Ende Regency with a total of 17 people consisting of 9 students and 8 students from different schools and different parents. The results showed that the role given by parents in the mathematics learning process in the form of providing guidance and direction, providing advice, supervising the learning process, and fulfilling children's facilities as students can foster children's interest which can be seen from feelings of pleasure, attention, interest and involvement of children in the process. mathematics learning carried out online. Keywords: Learning mathematics; role of parents; interest in learning.

Abstract

Matematika sebagai bentuk budaya, sesungguhnya telah terintegrasi pada seluruh aspek kehidupan masyarakat di manapun berada. Dengan demikian matematika seseorang dipengaruhi oleh budayanya. Dalam kegiatan pembelajaran matematika di sekolah tujuan guru adalah membentuk skema baru. Oleh sebab itu dalam mengajar matematika formal, guru sebaiknya memulai dengan matematika yang tidak formal yang diterapkan oleh anak di masyarakat. setiap daerah memiliki budaya, salah satu objek kajian etnomatematika adalah alat music tradisional Wolotopo-Ende. Tujuan dari penelitian eksplorasi dengan pendekatan etnografi ini adalah untuk menggali dan mengeksplorasi konsep matematika apa saja yang terdapat pada alat music tradisional Wolotopo-Ende yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber belajar matematika serta upaya untuk mengembangkan etnomatematika sebagai basis pembelajaran matematika. Melalui eksplorasi, dokumentasi, studi literatur, dan observasi di kampung Wolotopo-Ende, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat konsep matematika bangun ruang bentuk tabung yang terdapat pada Lamba/Gendang dan bangun datar bentuk lingkaran yang terdapat pada Nggo/Gong.

Abstract

The objective of this research are (1) to find out the potentials of Golewa community local wisdom which related to education , and (2) To describe the meaning of Golewa local wisdom which related to education. The procedures have done in this research, (1) analysing the local wisdom potentials by using Miles and Huberman technique. The potentials of Ngada community local wisdom found such as Paruwitu, Trima, Adho/Wela Koti, and Kosubue. That local wisdom able to use in teaching and learning process based on topic of learning. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of learning media on student learning outcomes in mathematics education study programs. The method chosen in this study was a survey with a quantitative approach, and 40 students were randomly selected for the spatial geometry subject in the mathematics education program of the University of Flores. The Likert scale is used in the data collection technique instrument. Quantitative analysis was used with descriptive statistics, and involved Bivariate Correlation (Pearson), Classical Assumption Test, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that the learning media (X1) was seen as having a positive effect on learning outcomes (Y), this can be seen through the correlation analysis for R recruitment for X1 to Y of 0.529 and the significance value between X1 to Y two asterisks (**) so that there are positive influence with a significance level of 1%. In other words, the more or better the learning media, the student learning outcomes will increase and the better.

Abstract

This study purpose to determine the effect of the application of cooperative learning type STAD on student mathematics learning outcomes. This type of research used an experiment with Perdiktor variable: X is the result of the students' pre-test. Response Variable: Y is the change that occurs between the pretest and posttest values. The sample consisted of 20 students of class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Ende Selatan. Based on the analysis of covariance, it shows that F (count =) 32.95 is greater than F (table =) 4.38 with dk numerator = 1 and dk denominator = 19 which gives a significant value, indicating that the STAD Type Cooperative Learning Using question card media can improving student learning outcome results for Two-Variable Linear Equation System Material in Class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Ende Selatan for academic Year 2019/2020.

Abstract

This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Ende in the 2018/2019 school year. The purpose of this study was to describe: the ability to think in solving geometry problems in class VIII students using Bloom's taxonomy in the cognitive domain, the ability to think in solving geometric problems in class VIII students using Bloom's taxonomy in the affective domain, the ability to think in solving geometric problems in class VIII students using Bloom's taxonomy. psychomotor realm. This type of research is a descriptive study using qualitative methods. Data collection techniques using written tests, interviews, observation, and documentation. The subjects in this study were six students who were selected based on 3 groups of ability, namely high, medium, and low. The selection of research subjects was based on written test results. The results showed that based on Bloom's taxonomy, the thinking abilities of class VIII A students of SMP Negeri 2 Ende in solving geometry problems were as follows: in the higher thinking group the ability to think was at the level of analysis. Students in the medium ability group are at the application level and students in the low ability group are at the knowledge level.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) mistakes have been made by the XI IPS grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Ende in solving matrix questions. (2) the factors that cause the XI IPS grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Ende in solving the matrix problem. (3) the efforts to solve students' errors in solving matrix questions in class XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Ende. This study used a qualitative research approach using triangulation of sources and triangulation of techniques. The research subjects were 15 students of class XI IPS 3. The consideration of subject taking is based on the results of the error analysis according to the Newmann procedure. Methods of data collection using diagnostic tests, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research are: (1) the types of student errors are errors in understanding the concept of matrix count operations, process errors in solving matrix problems, and errors in concluding. 2) the factors that cause student errors are, students, choose the wrong formula, are not careful in solving matrix calculation operation problems, students are afraid to ask the teacher, and students' assumptions that mathematics is complicated, causing errors in determining the final answer. 3) while the efforts made were learning using rainbow matrix media which proved to be effective in learning matrix count operations.

Abstract

The goal to be achieved in this research is to see the participation of parents in improving children's learning outcomes in mathematics after the pandemic period ends. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore the ethnomathematical concepts contained in the woven form of the Ende tribe. This type of research is exploratory research using an ethnographic approach. The subjects in this study were woven gedek and khidhe craftsmen, mothers who used to make plaits in Rewa Rangga Village, Ende Regency. The instruments in this research are field study interviews and documents. Data analysis used is a triangulation technique. The results showed that there were geometric shapes in woven shapes and motifs. Geometric shapes that are explored are building spaces: beams; flat shapes: circles, regular hexagons, rectangles, and rhombus.
