Abstract

Difficulties in solving a mathematical problem are still experienced by many students. This difficulty will be analyzed by researcher in Junior High School students at the Islamic Boarding School in solving the problem description of the subject matter of flat side geometry. This research was conducted in class IX students of Al-Ittihad Plus Junior High School Cianjur in the even semester of the 2019/2020 school year. This type of research used in this study is a case study. The research instrument used was a written test. The subjects of this study uses stratified random sampling. Six research subjects were chosen consisting of two subjects with high, moderate and low mathematical abilities in terms of the results of tests given to 36 prospective subjects. In this case study students were given a test by the researcher, then after being given the test the researcher conducted an open interview to the students to produce data. This test is a measuring tool in analyzing student difficulties regarding the subject matter of flat side geometry cube, cuboid, prysm and pyramid. An open interview was conducted to find out more deeply about the difficulties experienced by students. It was cocluded that the results of this case study were students with high, moderate and low levels of mathematical ability had difficulty in: (1) determining the mathematical model in solving the problems presented correctly, (2) determining the concepts and strategies in solving prolems and (3) understanding mathematical problems.

Abstract

The low understanding of students about relations and functions online learning, therefor need to improve of teaching to students, with implementing online learning with scientific approach assisted by e-learning. The problem formulated is how to implement online learning using scientific approach assisted by e-learning the concept relations and functions for students of MtsN 1 Cimahi City? The aim is to find the implementation of online learning using scientific approach assisted by e-learning the concept relations and functions for students of MtsN 1 Cimahi City. This research was conducted on students class VIII-A MTsN 1 Cimahi City in even semester with 32 students. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The instrument is 5 essay questions. The procedure is initial test, test 1 and 2. The source is the results of student answers and student observation sheets. The scientific approach uses 5 indicators namely observing, asking, reasoning, trying, and communicating. The processing technique is to find the average value of students using Microsoft Excel. The average score of students continued from pretest to test 2, from 39,00,65.00 and 76.23. So be concluded that scientific approach using observing, asking, reasoning, trying, and communicating can improve student’s understanding of the concepts relations and functions.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative descriptive wich aims to find out the differences in the results in solving the material opportunity questions based on gender. The population in this research is all students of class IX in one private junior high school in Cimahi with a sample of 4 female students and 6 male students. The instrument used consists of four written test questions in the form of descriptions on the opportunity material. The data analysis in this study is to calculate the score of the answers, add up the results of each question, calculate the average questions, and interpret the results of the students’ difficulties based on the assessment scale. The results showed that gender differences have an effect on solving math problems. Female students are more dominant in answering and solving math problem clearly than male students.

Abstract

This research describes students' difficulties in learning mathematics, the research was conducted at SMPN 1 CIHAMPELAS class IX with the material  build  room  side  flat  assisted by google classroom. The approach  in this research  uses a  qualitative  approach. The instrument used is a description test which amounts to 7 questions with different difficulty levels collected through google classroom. Google Classroom is a learning application released by Google. The ease of access via computers and mobile phones is very beneficial for teachers and students in schools. The goal is to describe blended learning, google classroom as an alternative in learning, and blended learning through google classroom. difficulty in calculating the surface area of a cube, as many as 33.34% of students have difficulty in calculating the surface area of a prism, as many as 33.60% of students have difficulty in calculating the surface area of a pyramid, as many as 11.12% of students have difficulty in calculating the volume of a cuboid, 20.75% of students still have difficulty in calculating the volume of a prism, and as many as 57.78% of students had difficulty solving problems involving the diagonal of the space, the diagonal of the plane, and the diagonal of the plane.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students opinions on the line and angle material using a Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach with the help of geogebra applications. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects of this study were 4 students of class VII in Batujajar. The instrument used is the scale of students' opinions on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning with the help of the geogebra application. The student opinion scale consists of 10 statements containing 5 positive statements and 5 negative statements, the student opinion scale is used to determine the responses of respondents to Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning assisted by geogebra applications. The analysis of this study shows a positive response, namely almost all students think that students become more enthusiastic and learning becomes more fun, and almost all students also think that they have no difficulty in learning Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) or in using geogebra on line material and angle.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenerapan e-learning merupakan salah satu inovasi teknologi pembelajaran yang mengintegrasikan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi dengan konten pelajaran. Meskipun e-learning bisa digunakan secara mandiri oleh siswa, namun eksistensi guru menjadi sangat berarti sebagai orang dewasa yang berfungsi memberi dukungan dan mendampingi siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, model pembelajaran yang menggabungkan (blending) metode face to face learning dengan e-learning secara integratif dan sistematis akan membuat proses pembelajaran menjadi lebih bermakna. Kejadian virus Corona yang mewabah di Indonesia membuat situasi belajar diarahkan ke online learning.  Akan tetapi faktanya penggunaan teknologi masih sangat minim ditemukan di sekolah. Hal yang sama juga ditemukan di sekolah Mitra. MA Cahaya Harapan merupakan sekolah mitra untuk tempat workshop pengabdian ini, dimana kebanyakan guru belum dengan maksimal memanfaatkan penggunaan ICT ini pada proses pembelajaran di kelas. Tahap-tahapn pengabdian ini meliputi tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi dan pendampingan. Tujuan workshop  pendampingan dan pelatihan ini adalah meningkatkan kemampuan guru-guru  dalam pembelajaran blended learning berbasis LMS Moodle  di era post Covid-19. Peserta dalam PKM ini terdiri dari  25 orang dan dilaksanakan selama tiga hari dan dilanjutkan pendampingan selama dua pekan berturut-turut. Berdasarkan hasil angket kepuasaan sebesar 28% peningkatan kemampuan peserta dari sebelum pelatihan. Seluruh peserta terlihat sangat antusias dalam mengikuti program pelatihan. Hal ini bisa dilihat dari kehadiran seluruh peserta mulai dari awal kegiatan sampai akhir kegiatan. Peserta mampu membuat dan mendesain pembelajaran blended learning berbasis LMS Moodle.Kata Kunci : Blended Learning, LMS Moodle, Post Covid 19  ABSTRACTThe application of e-learning is one of the learning technology innovations that integrate information and communication technology with lesson content. Although e-learning can be used independently by students, the existence of teachers is very meaningful as adults who function to support and assist students in the learning process. Therefore, a learning model that combines (blending) the face to face learning method with e-learning in an integrative and systematic manner will make the learning process more meaningful. The outbreak of the Corona virus in Indonesia has directed the learning situation to online learning. However, the fact is that the use of technology is still very minimal in schools. The same thing was found in the Mitra school. MA Cahaya Harapan is a partner school for this PKM workshop, where most teachers have not maximally utilized the use of ICT in the learning process in the classroom. The stages of this workshop include the stages of preparation, implementation, evaluation and mentoring. The purpose of this mentoring and training workshop is to improve the abilities of teachers in Moodle LMS-based blended learning in the post-Covid-19 era. Participants in this PKM consisted of 25 people and was held for three days and continued with mentoring for two consecutive weeks. Based on the results of the satisfaction questionnaire, there was a 28% increase of the participants ability after joining the training. All participants seemed very enthusiastic in participating the training program. This can be seen from the attendance of all participants from the start of the activity to the end of the activity. Abstract

ABSTRACTThis community service activity aims to improve the abilities and skills of Mathematics MGMP teachers in Pangandaran in using digital-based learning media, namely Android-based I-Spring powerpoint. The service partner in this activity is the mathematics teacher MGMP in Pangandaran. In the implementation of activities, the method used is training. Android-based I-Spring powerpoint learning media training with 21 MGMP SD teachers participating in the activity. The activity implementation stage includes the preparation stage, the activity implementation stage, evaluation and reflection. The results of the service activities showed that the percentage of achievement of mastery and learning skills of TPACK based on powerpoint I-Spring before training was 27.5% and there was an increase of 59% after the activity took place to 86.5%. Participants understand I-Spring powerpoint-based TPACK learning and are able to use I-Spring on Android with good and very good categories. In addition, all participants gave a positive response to the implementation of community service activitiesKeywords: Powerpoint I-Spring, Media Interaktif, DaringABSTRAKKegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dan keterampilan para guru MGMP Matematika di pangandaran dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis digital yaotu powerpoint I-Spring berbasis Android. Mitra pengabdian dalam kegiatan ini yaitu MGMP guru matematika di pangandaran. Dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan, metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan. Pelatihan media pembelajaran powerpoint I-Spring berbasis Android dengan jumlah peserta kegiatan sebanyak 21 guru MGMP SD. Tahap pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi, tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan kegiatan, evaluasi dan refleksi. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa persentase ketercapaian penguasaan dan keterampilan pembelajaran TPACK berbasis powerpoint I-Spring sebelum pelatihan adalah sebesar 27,5% dan terjadi peningkatan sebesar 59% setelah kegiatan berlangsung menjadi 86,5%. Peserta memahami pembelajaran TPACK berbasis powerpoint I-Spring dan mampu menggunakan I-Spring dalam Android dengan kategori baik dan sangat baik. Selain itu seluruh peserta memberikan respon positif terhadap pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat.Kata Kunci: I-Spring Powerpoint, Interactive Media, Online

Abstract

Professional teachers are one of the determining factors in the success of teaching and learning in the classroom. Designing quality learning tools is the readiness of the teacher to teach. Teacher professionalism is an absolute requirement for the realization of the objectives of national education. Efforts to develop teacher competency should be carried out comprehensively and continuously Improving the quality, capacity, pedagogical-professional competence and fostering the teaching profession (in this case teachers), especially in MTs Cahaya Harapan Cisarua can be done through Lesson study activities. Lesson study is a model of teacher professional development through teaching and learning (learning assessment) collaboratively with a continuous and cycle system based on the principles of collegiality and mutual learning to build learning communities. The basic concept of implementing Lesson Study includes three activities namely; plan-do-see, namely: (1) Planning (planning). (2) Implementation (action) or learning and observation. (3) Reflections on the planning and implementation of the learning. The response of the participants was enthusiastic about this lesson study training.

Abstract

the purpose of this service is to equip CCI IT elementary school teachers to be able to design learning in the classroom using instructional media. The learning media used are realistic mathematical worksheets based on geogebra softwares. LKS is one of the learning tools that must be compiled by the teacher as teaching material that supports the quality of learning. Worksheets that are equipped with visualization of images and students construct their own mathematical concepts through geogebra softwares make abstract concepts more concrete. There is also the purpose of this dedication is to provide training and mentoring to elementary teachers of IT CCI to create ICT-based worksheets and teaching materials assisted by geogebra softwere. This training is a presentation of material related to the demonstration of the use of geogebra softwares for 3D space building concepts and their applications. The next activity is assistance to training participants by dividing up several groups to facilitate further training. Based on the results of the questionnaire satisfaction of 26% increase in the ability of participants from before the training. All participants seemed very enthusiastic in participating in the training program. This can be seen from the presence of all participants starting from the beginning of the activity until the end of the activity. Participants are able to create learning media that construct student’s ability  to understand 3D concept

Abstract

Mathematics is a human activity carried out in daily life both consciously and unconsciously such as measurement (geometry) or arithmetic calculations, but in its implementation there are still many who find it difficult to understand mathematics. The availability of instructional media is one of the factors that is less optimal in class learning. The activity of this community partnership program aims to introduce Information and Communication Technology(ICT) in learning and provide training to design teaching materials using ICT. The methods of implementing community partnership activities are training, the formation of a training team for trainers (TFT) and ICT-based teaching materials. The results of the implementation of these community partnership activities are the activities of the community partnership program by conducting training by transferring knowledge and technology to create learning designs for mathematical realistic worksheets based on ICT to get positive responses from SDIT teachers in one of West Bandung regencies. ICT training for mathematics teachers must be developed so that they are more skilled in using ICT in the learning of mathematics in class and are skilled at making ICT-based learning designs and to make use of them in the revolutionary 4.0 era.
