Abstract

The aim of this research was 1) to determine the effect of giving a combination of tofu pulp and indigofera leaves to the growth of super native chicken, 2) to determine the concentration of a combination of tofu pulp and indigofera leaves which is good for the growth of super native chicken, 3) to determine the utilization of learning outcomes as a learning resource in the form of a poster. This type of research is experimental research with a completely randomized design (CRD). This study used a total sample of 24 stater phase chicken (aged 20 days after hatching). This study used 4 treatments, namely the combination of tofu dregs feed and indigofera leaves with a concentration of 17% indigofera leaves mixed 83% tofu dregs, 35% concentration of indigofera leaves mixed 65% tofu dregs, and 70% concentration of indigofera leaves mixed 30% tofu dregs, and a control treatment with centrate feed. Each treatment was given 6x repetitions. The parameters observed in this study were weight, and diameter of super native chicken. Data were analyzed using a one-way Non-parametric Test called the Kruskal Wallis Test. Based on the results of the study, there was a significant influence on the feeding of tofu pulp and indigofera leaves to the growth of super native chicken. The results of the study are based on the analysis of the Kruskal Wallis test x2hit> x2daf. Further tests showed the best concentration of tofu pulp and indigofera leaves for super native chicken growth was a concentration of 17% indigofera leaves + 83% tofu pulp. Based on the analysis of the validation of learning resources, this study deserves to be used as a source of learning biology in the form of posters for the growth and development of class XII.Kata kunci: super java chicken, Indigofera, alternative feed, poster learning resources

Abstract

α-terpineol is a compound of the class of  terpenoid  alcohols  derived  from natural  materials, α-terpineol can be synthesized from  α-pinene  from  turpentin content of extracts derived  from  the sap of  pine  trees  (Pinus merkusii). α-terpineol has been reported as a natural compound that has potential as anticancer agent. Objectives of research:  In general, to assess the activity of α- terpineol  compounds  against  HeLa  cells  and  the   possible  mechanism,  whereas  specifically  assessing  cytotoxic  activity. Methods: This was a quasi-experimental study using post-test only with non-equivalent control group design.  This study was conducted on HeLa cells by administering α-terpineol. Observations  cytotoxic   activity assay was performed using MTT assay method. Results: α -terpineol was cytotoxic against HeLa cells with IC50 of 12,46 μg/mL, therefore this compound was a potential anticancer   Kata kunci :  α-terpineol, sitotoksik, HeLa, kanker leher rahim

Abstract

Abstract: Butterflies are insects that have a very important role in the ecosystem is as a helper in the pollination in plants. In addition butterfly can also be used as a bio-indicator to changes in environmental quality since butterflies are very sensitive to changes in the ecosystem. The existence of butterflies are under threat at this time step and extinction, this is due to the many forests are converted into other land. Diminishing forests and lands turned into settlement and agriculture. Butterfly existence will depend habitat. Butterfly habitat with the amount of food available is quite the diversity of butterflies is high. The aim of research to determine the diversity of butterflies in Batanghari River Plate in Metro City, the research method used is survey method with purporsive sampling. Butterfly collection done by sweeping follows the line transect technique is applied randomly along the 1000 m. After completion of the identification process we then held classification process. Species diversity index (H) is calculated using the Shannon-Wiener formula. Results of the study found as many as 23 species of butterflies of 5 familia, with the most dominant species is Eurema alitha as much as 136. The diversity of butterflies in the Batanghari River Plate in City Metro categorized bit or lower because it has the value H1 <1.

Abstract

This study aims to 1) to see the effect of natural phytohormones in onions and coconut water on the growth of sugarcane, 2) To see the effect of giving natural phytohormones to sugarcane plants which produce the best growth, 3) To see the results of research on the growth of sugarcane can be used biology learning resources. This type of research is an experimental study using a completely randomized design (CRD). This study consisted of 4 treatments, namely, the first treatment was giving sand and red soil, the second treatment was giving manure and 15% concentration of onion solution phytohormones, the third treatment was giving manure and phytohormones with 25% concentration of coconut water solution, the fourth treatment was Pembrian. Manure and phytohormone combined with 15% concentration of onion solution + phytohormone with 25% concentration of coconut water solution. The parameters observed in this study were height in units (cm), number of leaves (counting manually), stem diameter in units (cm). To determine the effect of phytohormone solutions on shallots and coconut water, data analysis was carried out using the one-way ANOVA test. and further tests to find out the most optimum treatment for the growth of sugarcane using the BNJ test. Based on the research, there was a significant effect of giving natural phytohormones on the growth of sugarcane, with the best treatment, namely the third treatment of giving manure and phytohormones of coconut water solution. The results of this research can be used as a source of learning biology in the form of videos with material on the growth and development of class XII. Kata kunci: larutan bawang merah (allium cepa L), air  kelapa (cocos nucifera L), fitohormon, tanamantebu.
