Abstract

Student Centered Learning-based learning model which was conducted online in the midst of the Covid 19 pandemic in Indonesian language learning at SMP Muhammdiyah 01 Medan, namely in class VII junior high school students. This study uses a 4D development model (define, design, develop, and disseminate). The subjects of this study were students of SMP Muhammadiyah 01 Medan class VII-A using a small class scale totaling 25 students. Obtaining data through documentation techniques, questionnaires, observation and tests. The data analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative data analysis. The feasibility of learning media refers to the results of media assessments by the developed learning media experts. The results of this study indicate that the powtoon learning media using a student centered learning-based learning model has met the appropriate and valid criteria for use in Indonesian online learning in the midst of the Covid 19 pandemic where in this case learning activities, teacher and student interactions get a percentage of student learning completeness. The test given was 85%. Based on the results of the analysis of student learning outcomes tests, it can be concluded that student learning outcomes tests developed using Powtoon media with a student centered learning based learning model obtained complete criteria.

Abstract

Students are required to carry out learning, work, and creative activities at home in this era of the covid-19 pandemic because the virus is deemed unsafe even though there is a vaccine that has just been launched, so of course students feel bored because they are at home. To eliminate boredom, students do many things such as playing social media, looking for entertainment on television, cooking, sleeping, reading books, studying, and watching movies from various media such as youtube, television, VCD, etc. This research is associated with writing short stories. The purpose of this study was to determine the habit of watching films for the fourth semester students of the Indonesian Language Education Study Program FKIP UMSU for the 2020-2021 academic year, to determine the ability to write short stories for the fourth semester students of the Indonesian Language Education Study Program FKIP UMSU for the 2020-2021 academic year, to find out writing short stories through the habit of watching movies. The method used is descriptive method. The test for the habit of watching movies used an objective test (multiple choice). The number of tests is 10 items and each item consists of four alternative answers. If correct, the score gets 1 (for the correct answer choice) and a score of 0 (for the wrong answer choice). The test for the ability to write short stories uses an essay test.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the application of audiovisual learning media to the ability to write fairy tales by fifth semester students of the Indonesian Language Education study program at FKIP UMSU for the 2019-2020 academic year. The sample in this study was set randomly so that the chosen class V A morning as the experimental class and class V B morning as the control class. The sample consisted of 46 students consisting of 30 people in the experimental class and 16 people in the control class. The research location is in the Indonesian Language Education Study Program FKIP UMSU on Jalan Mukhtar Basri No. 3 Medan. The results in this study are that there is a significant influence of audiovisual learning media on the ability to write fairy tales by fifth semester students of the Indonesian Language Study Program FKIP UMSU in the academic year 2019-2020. The method used in this study is an experimental method, while the instrument used is an essay test in the form of writing a fairy tale.

Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) the validity of the development of the cooperative learning model type team games tournament (TGT) based on snake and ladder game media which is carried out online on Indonesian Literature material for students of the Indonesian Language Education study program, FKIP UMSU ?, and (2) the effectiveness of model development. Cooperative learning type team games tournament (TGT) based on snake and ladder game media which was carried out online on Indonesian Literature material for students of the Indonesian Language Education study program, FKIP UMSU. This research is a type of development research with a 4D model, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out through observation, questionnaires, and tests. The research trial was carried out in Semester IV of the Indonesian Language Education Study Program. The results of the study proved that student learning outcomes reached 100% after being given the application of the team games tournament (TGT) learning model based on the snake and ladder game media. The results of the validity test by the validator show that the use of snake and ladder game media is valid and effective in online learning.
