Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan bentuk ragam patois bahasa keseharian masyarakat Dusun Wonorejo Blandit Barat Singosari; (2) mendeskripsikan proses terjadinya ragam patois bahasa keseharian masyarakat Dusun Wonorejo Blandit Barat Singosari; (3) mendeskripsikan fungsi ragam patois bahasa keseharian masyarakat Dusun Wonorejo Blandit Barat Singosari; (4) mendeskripsikan dampak ragam patois bahasa keseharian masyarakat Dusun Wonorejo Blandit Barat Singosari. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Data yang diperoleh dari masyarakat Dusun Wonorejo Blandit Barat Singosari yang berupa percakapan bahasa keseharian masyarakat Dusun Wonorejo Blandit Barat Singosari. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini adalah teknik observasi, simak, catat dan dokumentasi. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data berupa lembar observasi, tabel korpus data, teknik wawancara dan alat rekam. Hasil penelitian ini (1) bentuk ragam patois yang terdapat di Masyarakat Dusun Wonorejo Blandit Barat Singosari yaitu ditemukan 25 kosakata patois madura, 20 kosakata patois jawa dan 15 kosakata patois Indonesia; (2) proses terjadinya ragam patois di Masyarakat Dusun Wonorejo Blandit Barat Singosari di sebabkan adanya perantauan, perkawinan, masyarakat pendatang, lingkup pendidikan; (3) fungsi ragam patois di Masyarakat Dusun Wonorejo Blandit Barat Singosari memiliki fungsi kata ganti orang kedua tunggal, kata ganti kepemilikan, kata ganti sapaan, kata ganti adjectiva serapan dan kata ganti orang pertama tunggal; (4) dampak ragam patois di Masyarakat Dusun Wonorejo Blandit Barat Singosari memiliki dampak baik karena patois yang dituturkan dapat digunakan saat berkomunikasi yang lebih tua, antar sebaya, antar masyarakat pendatang dan rekan kerja dalam lingkup pendidikan atau sekolah dan antara anak dengan orang tua .

Abstract

This study examines literary recreativity in the novel De Journal by Naneng Setiasih as reflected through narrative strategies, storytelling techniques, and the reconstruction of meaning, character experiences, and social discourse. The study aims to describe the forms of literary recreativity and explain how the novel reconstructs reality through aesthetic and interpretative processes. This research employed a qualitative descriptive method with an interpretative approach. The data source was the novel De Journal, while the data were collected through close reading and note-taking techniques. The data were analyzed using narrative and hermeneutic approaches through stages of reduction, classification, interpretation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that literary recreativity in the novel is manifested through six main aspects: spatial, cultural, subjective, temporal, symbolic, and ideological recreativity. These aspects are strengthened by the use of first-person narration, internal focalization, monologues, rhetorical questions, figurative language, and reflective narration. The novel not only represents reality but also reconstructs meaning critically through issues of gender, culture, environment, spirituality, and social life. Thus, literary recreativity in De Journal demonstrates that literary works function as aesthetic, reflective, and ideological spaces that encourage readers to reinterpret social reality and human experience.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the lexical variation of Javanese in the Tengger dialect and Malangan dialect used by the community of Pandansari Village, Poncokusumo District, Malang Regency, and to analyze the social factors influencing the use of both dialects in daily communication. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, semi-structured interviews, documentation, and recordings of community speech in various social contexts. The findings reveal lexical variations consisting of lexicons with identical forms and meanings, lexicons with similar forms but the same meanings, and lexicons with different forms but equivalent meanings. These differences indicate phonological variation and lexical development influenced by social interaction within the community. The Tengger dialect tends to preserve more traditional lexical forms, while the Malangan dialect develops more dynamically in response to social change. The use of both dialects is influenced by age, education, social environment, social mobility, and patterns of community interaction. This study demonstrates that the existence of Tengger and Malangan Javanese dialects functions not only as a means of communication but also as a representation of social identity, group solidarity, and an effort to preserve the local cultural heritage of Pandansari Village.
