Abstract

Critical thinking is an essential skill that students must have in the 21st century. The scientific approach is able to train students to think critically. This research aims to describe the implementation of E-LKPD based on a scientific approach, implementation of learning, students' critical thinking skills, and students' responses. This research is referred to as quasi-experimental research. In this research, a "one group pre test and post test design" was used. The sampling process was carried out using a purposive sample technique. A total of 69 students in classes X IPA 2 and X IPA 3 were the research samples. The data collection techniques used are implementation observation techniques, test techniques, and questionnaire techniques. Data analysis was carried out by analyzing research instruments, namely learning implementation sheets, improving students' critical thinking skills, and analyzing student responses to learning implementation. The essential indicators of thinking that are trained are interpretation, analysis, and explanation—increased student learning outcomes from pre-test to post-test with average N-Gain scores for classes X IPA 3 and X IPA 2 respectively of 0.87 and 0.85 in the high category. The implementation of learning with E-LKPD based on a scientific approach in classes X IPA 2 and the implementation of E-LKPD obtained an average percentage of 100%, which shows that student activity when participating in learning using E-LKPD is categorized as very practical for training students' critical thinking skills. Student responses respectively obtained a response percentage of 95% and 94% in the outstanding category.

Abstract

Abstract The development of inquiry-based E-LKPD was developed to fulfil the demands of education in mastering technology and 4C skills. This research has successfully developed inquiry-based E-LKPD to train students' critical thinking skills that are valid, practical, and effective. The methods used were validation sheet, response questionnaire, and test sheet. The validity of the E-LKPD was assessed by two validators, namely media expert lecturers and material expert lecturers. The practicality of E-LKPD was measured based on the observation data of the implementation of learning activities, while effectiveness is measured through data on learning outcomes of XII grade students obtained from the E-LKPD final assessment test and the achievement of critical thinking indicators.The trial phase was conducted on 20 students of class XII MIPA at SMA Ta'miriyah Surabaya. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the E-LKPD developed is very valid with a validity score from both validators of 97.33%, the practicality of E-LKPD is declared very practical with the observation score of the implementation of learning activities reaching 97.15% and student responses reaching 97.6%, the effectiveness of E-LKPD is declared very effective with the percentage of completeness of the E-LKPD final assessment reaching 100%. Thus the E-LKPD is declared feasible to be implemented in students. Keywords: E-LKPD, critical thinking, inquiry.

Abstract

Purpose – This study addressed the absence of interactive e-books to assist high school students in learning technological innovation, particularly biotechnology, while developing their ecopreneurship skills. In the era of 21st-century learning and the Merdeka Curriculum, students are expected to possess creative thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Therefore, this study aims to develop a Project-Based Learning (PjBL) e-book on technological innovation materials that are engaging, interactive, and capable of strengthening students' ecopreneurship competencies.Methodology – The research employed the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Though limited to the development and validation stages, a purposive sampling technique involved three expert validators specializing in content, pedagogy, and biology. The assessment instrument covered content accuracy, visual presentation, and language quality. The data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative methods and validity percentages.Findings – The validation results indicated that the developed e-book is highly valid for use in learning, with a score of 99.25% for presentation, 97.8% for content, and 87.37% for language. The e-book is also equipped with multimedia features such as videos, images, and active links, which enhance interactivity and accessibility, making the learning process more engaging and meaningful.Contribution – This study contributes to educational technology by introducing a project-based digital learning medium that contextually fosters students' ecopreneurship skills. The developed e-book serves as a practical model for digital learning media that integrates scientific knowledge, environmental awareness, and entrepreneurial values.

Abstract

Salah satu daerah penghasil batik di Pamekasan adalah kampung batik Pamekasan adalah dusun Banyumas desa Klampar kecamatan Proppo kabupaten Pamekasan. Di daerah ini terdapat  home industry kerajinan batik. Batik desa ini belum memiliki ciri khas produk batik kabupaten Pamekasan, dan produknya belum ada diversifikasi produk hanya berupa kain, selain itu  pewarna batik yang digunakan berpotensi untuk mencemari lingkungan. Tujuan PKM adalah 1) membuat desain batik bercorak khas potensi lokal Pamekasan dan membuat pewarna batik yang ramah lingkungan 2) melakukan diversifikasi produk batik sehingga produk unggulan  3) menata manajemen produksi baik pemasukan dan pengeluaran modal serta membantu pengelolaan pemasaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah   persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi yang berbasis potensi lokal dan komprehensif.  Hasil PKM menunjukkan bahwa  1) desain batik Pamekasan yang dikembangkan berisikan motif kupu kupu dan jagung, dengan warna dominan coklat, kuning, gold, merah  dan hitam. 2) pengrajin batik memberikan respon positif sebesar 84,9 % terhadap motif batik yang dikembangkan dan untuk penjual batik sebesar 88 % dan menyatakan kalau motif yang dikembangkan bisa menjadi produk unggulan kabupaten Pamekasan. 3)respon  positif (82,3%) dari  pengrajin dan penjual batik pada pelatihan keuangan , 4) masyarakat sangat antusias terhadap pembekalan pewarnaan batik dan pemberian brosur untuk pemasaran.

Abstract

Raden Soerjo Grand Forest Park is a conservation area in East Java with moderate tree diversity. This study analyzed the diversity, composition, and structure of trees in three vegetation types: open forest, closed forest, and post-fire forest. Data collection used a systematic sampling method with random start. Data in the form of tree species names and numbers of individuals were analyzed to determine the ecological index and Canonical Correspondence Analysis (CCA). A total of 25 species from 21 families were identified, with Fagaceae and Lauraceae dominating in open and closed forests, and Casuarinaceae in post-fire forest. Lithocarpus sundaicus showed the highest Importance Value Index in open and closed forests, while Casuarina junghuhniana dominated the post-fire forest. Pioneer species such as Homalanthus populneus, Ficus hispida, and C. junghuhniana were present in all vegetation types. The diversity index showed moderate diversity (1.79 and 2.09), low species richness (2.22 and 3.45), and high evenness (0.69 and 0.71) in open and closed forests. Tree distribution is dominated by the 61–80 cm diameter class in open and closed forests, and 41–60 cm in post-fire forests. CCA showed that light intensity, soil moisture, air temperature, and soil pH influence species distribution. Four species are endemic to Indonesia, with three species of conservation concern: Lithocarpus korthalsii and Canthiumera glabra (near threatened), and Saurauia bracteosa (vulnerable).

Abstract

This research aims to develop e-LKPD on plant cell structure material with the aim of training science process skills that are suitable for use in learning based on validity and practicality,. This research uses a 4-D development model (four-D Models), including defining, designing, developing, and deploying, but the dissemination needs to be carried out in this development research. The research was conducted at the Department of Biology, UNESA, and tested on 33 F1 SMAN 3 Sidoarjo students. The research instruments used were e-LKPD validation sheets, implementation observation sheets, teacher response questionnaires, student response questionnaires, pretest and posttest assessment sheets, and indicator achievement sheets. Data analysis was conducted in a quantitative descriptive manner. The validity result obtained a very valid category with an average of 3.75. The results of the practicality test are very practical in terms of the implementation score of 92.8%, teacher response score of 95.65%, and student response score of 97.73%. Based on these results, the e-LKPD is valid for students at the SMA phase F level.

Abstract

Pentingnya keterampilan berpikir kritis pada abad ke-21 dapat diperluas melalui pendekatan contextual teaching and learning yang mengintegrasikan situasi kehidupan sehari-hari dengan materi pembelajaran. Dalam upaya melatih keterampilan berpikir kritis, digunakan bahan ajar berbasis elektronik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan E-LKPD keanekaragaman hayati yang efektif dalam melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik, dengan memperhatikan aspek validitas, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Penelitian ini mengacu pada model pengembangan 4D, yang melibatkan tahap define, design, develop, namun tidak dilakukan tahap disseminate. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Jurusan Biologi, UNESA, dengan melibatkan 20 peserta didik dari kelas X-3 SMAN 16 Surabaya. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan meliputi instrumen validasi E-LKPD, observasi keterlaksanaan, angket respons guru, angket respons peserta didik, serta lembar tes. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa E-LKPD sangat valid dengan persentase 99,65%. Dalam hal kepraktisan, hasil observasi keterlaksanaan sebesar 95%, respons guru sebesar 98,61%, dan respons peserta didik sebesar 96,84%, yang menunjukkan kategori sangat baik, Selain itu, dari segi keefektifan, terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar yang signifikan, dengan rata-rata n-gain sebesar 0,72 dalam kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, E-LKPD keanekaragaman hayati dinilai layak digunakan berdasarkan aspek validitas, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan dalam melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Abstract

Pembelajaran merupakan serangkaian proses belajar mengajar yang mengacu pada serangkaian komponen yang saling berhubungan untuk mencapai tujuan. Salah satu komponen utama adalah guru. Setiap guru memiliki karakter dan latar belakang ilmu yang berbeda-beda, pengetahuan dan ketrampilan yang berbeda akan mempengaruhi kompetensi yang dimiliki. Pembelajaran IPA/Biologi yang dapat mengkonstruksi pengetahuan yang sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa, diperlukan kerja keras dan kompetensi seorang guru untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran terutama pada materi IPA Botani. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengayaan materi IPA Botani untuk menunjang kompetensi para guru IPA khususnya di SMP Al Falah Surabaya. Kegiatan ini meliputi tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Tahap persiapan dilakukan identifikasi kebutuhan guru IPA dan identifikasi berbagai materi sulit pada materi IPA Botani. kemudian menyusun instrumen bahan ajar materi pengayaan (hand out dan power point), serta evaluasi materi IPA Botani berupa lembar tes (pretest dan post test) dan angket respon guru tentang pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan untuk mengukur Tingkat kompetensi professional guru. Tahap Pelaksanaan adalah pelatihan pengayaan materi IPA Botani terhadap para guru, dan tahap Evaluasi adalah melihat tingkat kemampuan para guru terhadap materi IPA Botani yang sudah diberikan di pelatihan. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa, guru dapat lebih memahami materi IPA Botani yang teridentifikasi sulit, dengan meningkatnya nilai tes sebesar 1,6%, Guru memiliki kemampuan untuk mencari konsep yang sulit pada materi IPA Botani, serta respon yang baik pada pelaksanaan pelatihan pengayaan materi IPA Botani.

Abstract

Rendahnya literasi sains siswa Indonesia menurut hasil PISA menunjukkan perlunya media ajar yang inovatif, sesuai Kurikulum Merdeka, dan sesuai tuntutan abad 21. Salah satunya dapat dicapai melalui pengembangan E-LKPD berbasis Project Based Learning (PjBL). Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan E-LKPD berbasis PjBL yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Materi yang dikembangkan dalam E-LKPD ini berfokus pada Bioteknologi Konvensional, yang meliputi konsep proses fermentasi dan penerapan bioteknologi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), di mana tahap implementasi dilakukan dengan melibatkan 35 peserta didik kelas X SMAN 1 Lamongan. Hasil pengembangannya tercipta keunggulan E-LKPD dengan empat fitur utama, yaitu Explorer Genius, Solusi Pintar, Grafik Insight, dan Sains Saksi yang membantu siswa lebih interaktif, analitis, serta reflektif. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa E-LKPD berada pada kategori sangat valid (100%). Kepraktisan ditunjukkan dengan keterlaksanaan sebesar 99,42% dan respons peserta didik 99,06% (kategori sangat praktis). Keefektifan E-LKPD tercermin dari peningkatan literasi sains dengan nilai N-Gain sebesar 72,49% (kategori tinggi). Capaian indikator literasi sains meliputi kemampuan menjelaskan fenomena ilmiah (94,28%), mengidentifikasi isu ilmiah (95,42%), dan menginterpretasikan data ilmiah (94,57%). Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah E-LKPD berbasis PjBL layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran inovatif untuk meningkatkan literasi sains peserta didik secara efektif dan kontekstual.
