Abstract

This research is motivated by the learning motivation of students of the Economic Education Study Program FKIP Palangka Raya University during the COVID-19 pandemic. In compiling lecture assignments, each student has their learning methods and techniques, especially to achieve success in learning achievement. The purpose of this study is to determine the motivation and learning achievement of students of Economics Education FKIP Palangka Raya University during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study uses a qualitative approach, with a descriptive method. The results of research conducted at the Economic Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Palangka Raya University are about the motivation and learning achievement of Economic Education students, which indicated by the results of interviews that researchers have conducted, namely with the results of the research, most of the students of the Economics Education Study Program have high intrinsic and extrinsic motivation in achieving learning achievement. So, students have a strong willingness in carrying out learning activities. This can be seen from the average Economic Education students who got high Indeks Prestasi Semester or Grade Point Average (GPA) score from last semester, wherein the even semester of 2020/2021 lectures had used the online or online method.

Abstract

Abstract

The world of education is currently experiencing significant changes, especially these changes in the field of information technology. This has an impact on the shifting of the learning process that is applied to the world of education which was originally manual in nature but is now slowly developing towards digital. The aim of national education is to improve the quality of quality human resources. Utilization of ICT is needed to carry out interactive and innovative teaching and learning activities. The problem faced by SDN-1 Sabaru Palangka Raya City is that teachers are expected to be able to adapt to existing technological developments in the current digital era by continuing to update their competencies so that they can keep abreast of current technological developments in the industrial era 4.0 towards Towards an Era of Society 5.0. But there are still many teachers who have not utilized ICT media in teaching. Solutions to overcome the problems faced by partners are (1) Carry out mentoring activities in order to increase knowledge and skills in making digital learning media utilizing technology with visual displays and images that attract students' interest in taking lessons and helping teachers to support teaching and learning activities. (2) Carry out training and practice for teachers on the management of ICT-based learning, and developing the use of ICT and being able to design practical and innovative ICT-Based Teaching Materials.

Abstract

In the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, new technologies emerged that resulted in extraordinary changes in all fields, including education. Technology continues to change, becoming faster or cheaper, this requires the world of education to construct creativity, critical thinking, mastery of technology, and digital literacy skills. In fact, currently we need the best teachers who understand class dynamics and utilize technology to educate students. Technology will make teachers more confident and easier in teaching their students so that they are able to turn classrooms into creative, innovative and fun learning spaces. This study aims to determine the creativity of economics teachers in implementing learning models in the digital era/revolution 4.0 at SMA Negeri 2 Palangka Raya. The research method used seen from the type of research is qualitative research emphasizing meaning, reasoning, definition of a particular situation related to the problem of creativity of economics subject teachers in applying learning models, data collection process using observation, interviews, documentation using descriptive analysis techniques, so see the truth. Teacher creativity in applying learning models using Blended learning and Cloud learning models and learning planning using Learning Implementation Plans (RPP) that are oriented towards learning that can form creative and innovative generations. The implementation of learning in schools is also supported by learning infrastructure that is sufficient to help become the basis for learning for the success of understanding in students, so that teachers can become facilitators who will guide students in the learning process. The use of technology by economics teachers at SMA Negeri 2 Palangka Raya as a tool in implementing learning is to use google classroom, google meet, whatsapp, zoom, PPT, self-made videos or from the internet according to learning objectives. In planning indicators, teachers require routine annual teaching and learning activities/Technical Guidance (Bimtek) which are held through school programs or the city government. In the implementation indicators, the importance of mastery of infrastructure goods in the modern era, in this growing era, we are required to always be active so that teachers are not left behind and learning reaches effective and efficient goals. Evaluation indicators for teachers are expected to always be active in introducing students' characters, increasing references to modern learning modules so that students can plan optimally and be more interesting in the future.

Abstract

The implementation of the discovery learning model is that students are able to construct their own knowledge that they must master through 6 (six) stages of learning discovery, namely: (i) stimulation; (ii) problem statements; (iii) data collection;(iv) data processing; (v) verification; (vi) generalization. In its application, students need a study guide to be able to carry out discovery learning activities independently to obtain new knowledge, this research aims to produce a Student Worksheet (LKS) as a learning guide in learning salt hydrolysis with a discovery learning model in class XI high school students. The development of LKS was carried out by adapting the 4-D development model (define, design, d evelop, disseminate) from Thiagarajan. The resulting LKS products are assessed for feasibility using professional judgement by involving chemists, pedagogists, and learning media experts. The revised LKS product based on expert input is then tested for readability by potential users. Furthermore, LKS is implemented on a limited basis in chemistry learning in schools to determine its effectiveness in guiding discovery learning activities and improving students' understanding of the concept of salt hydrolysis. The limited implementation trial was carried out using a pre-experimental design of the One-Shot Case Study model involving 69 high school students in Palangka Raya city. The results showed that the LKS developed was suitable for use with a feasibility value of 92.45%. The effectiveness of LKS in guiding students to carry out discovery learning activities is in the very good category with an average of 97.75% and LKS is effective in improving students' mastery of the concept of salt hydrolysis by obtaining an average N-Gain score of 0.89.
