Abstract

The Energy Efficient Car Competition (KMHE) is an annual competition organized by the national achievement center (puspernas), Bangka Belitung University regularly participates in the KMHE competition starting from 2015 to 2022, but UBB's KMHE car has not been able to compete to win the category of prototype gasoline, car KMHE has many shortcomings, especially fuel consumption which is still relatively high, namely 130 km / liter, one method of saving fuel consumption is by adjusting the length of time the injector opens (fuel correction). This study aims to determine the effect of the fuel correction value with a variation of 0 , -11, -23, and -27 on fuel consumption. The Electronic Control Unit (ECU) used is a programmable type ECU, the test is carried out at various engine speeds (RPM 1000, 2000, 3000, 4000 and 5000) with a 5 minute test time. The results showed that the most efficient data on fuel consumption was at fuel correction -27 at 1000 RPM, namely 4 ml and the highest fuel consumption was at correction 0 at 5000 rpm, which was 67 ml.

Abstract

This research is about designing an organic waste-shredder machine. The aims are to calculate the production capacity and efficiency of the machine. Machine dimensions are: length, width, and height are 1035 mm, 320 mm, and 955 mm respectively. There are three types of blades; chopping blades, fixed blades, and pulling blades. There are four blades for the chopper, with dimensions of 240 mm in length, 50 mm in width, and 50 mm in thickness. The distance of the shredder blade to the fixed blade is 2 mm. The angle of the shredder blade is 20 degrees. The internal combustion engine with a power of 7 PK is used to drive the shaft. The criterion for successful enumeration was the maximum size of 4 cm. The machine capable of chopping using twigs of ketapang is 103.29 kg/hour and the coconut midrib is 282.96 kg/hour. Machine production efficiency using twigs of ketapang is 88.83% and coconut midrib is 76.4%.

Abstract

There are two types of waste, organic and inorganic waste. Organic waste can be used as compost with great potential to be developed, the high amount of wasted organic waste is not reused, which causes the waste to accumulate and will eventually be burned. This research is about designing an organic waste chopping machine. The engine specifications include a 6.5 HP gasoline engine, pulley and belt transmission, and overall engine measurements of 1918 mm in length, 639 mm in width, and 1046 mm in height. The dimensions of the blade are 160 mm long, 60 mm wide and 10 mm thick.The blade's cutting angle has a 30 degree slope. The chopping blade shaft rotates between 1694 and 1741 rpm. This study adjusts the input hopper's slope angle at 50 degree, 60 degree, and 70 degree depending on the machine's production capacity and productivity. There are machines that can produce 180 kg per hour to 449 kg per hour.The highest capacity occurs at the variation of the 50 degree input hopper slope reaching 449.55 kg/hour. The lowest capacity at the variation of the slope angle of 70 degree is 183.16 kg/hour. Machine production efficiency ranges from 89% to 93%.

Abstract

Kulur Ilir is a village located in Lubuk Besar District, Central Bangka Regency, where the majority of the population, 63%, work as rubber, palm oil and pepper farmers. The large number of agriculture that develops in Kulur Ilir Village is also a very interesting potential for developing new innovations, namely making alternative energy briquettes using agricultural waste because most of the organic waste produced has not been utilized. Briquettes were developed to be one of the solutions to reduce the problem of community dependence on firewood, LPG gas and kerosene whose availability is getting thinner and cannot be renewed. The existence of the Universitas Bangka Belitung KKN-Tematik in Kulur Ilir Village regarding briquettes as alternative energy is expected to provide benefits to the community such as: the Kulur Ilir Village community can produce briquettes with raw materials in the village continuously both to meet personal needs and to be marketed, improve the economic level of the community through the briquette business, the community is no longer dependent on LPG gas and firewood whose availability is uncertain because they can use alternative energy, namely briquettes. as well as fostering an entrepreneurial spirit for anyone who wants to be an entrepreneur. As well as fostering an entrepreneurial spirit for anyone involved.

Abstract

Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat desa Kulur Ilir adalah kurang tersedianya sumber air yang memenuhi baku mutu air minum terutama derajat keasaman air (pH) yang rendah yaitu berkisar antara 3,9– 5,6. Tujuan dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah masyarakat diharapkan dapat membuat dan menggunakan alat penyaringan air sederhana skala rumah tangga untuk memperoleh sumber air yang memenuhi baku mutu air minum sesuai Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan Republik Indonesia Nomor 492/MENKES/PER/IV/2010 Tentang Persyaratan Kualitas Air Minum. Metode yang digunakan adalah membuat penyaringan sederhana menggunakan bahan-bahan yang tersedia di desa Kulur Ilir, antara lain : serbuk arang, batu kerikil, pasir pantai, ijuk/sabut kelapa, limbah cangkang siput gonggong yang terdapat di pesisir pantai desa Kulur Ilir. Cangkang siput gonggong dapat meningkatkan pH air karena mengandung kalsium karbonat yang tinggi. Selain itu menggunakan wadah penampungan air sumur dari drum 520 liter. Program ini membuat masyarakat desa Kulur Ilir memperoleh pengetahuan tentang pentingnya mengkonsumsi air minum yang baik untuk kesehatan. Selain itu, masyarakat mengetahui cara pembuatan alat penyaringansederhana. Berdasarkan hasil pengukuran pH air (7-8) dan fisik air (tidak berwarna, tidak berasa dan berbau) sesudah dilakukan penyaringan maka penyaringan sederhana berbasis cangkang siput gonggong dapat meningkatkan kualitas air minum masyarakat yang bersumber dari air sumur. Peninjauan (survey) kembali ke masyarakat diperoleh bahwa masyarakat mengaplikasikan kegiatan yang telah dilakukan.

Abstract

Gerakan Indonesia Melayani merupakan salah satu implementasi dari Gerakan Revolusi Mental sebagaimana Instruksi Presiden (Inpres) Nomor 12 Tahun 2016. Tujuan Inpres ini untuk memperbaiki dan membangun karakter bangsa dengan mengacu pada nilai-nilai integritas, etos kerja dan gotong royong untuk membangun budaya bangsa yang bermartabat, modern, maju, makmur dan sejahtera berdasarkan Pancasila.Gerakan Indonesia Melayani ini difokuskan kepada peningkatan kapasitas sumber daya manusia aparatur sipil negara(ASN), peningkatan penegakan disiplin aparatur pemerintah dan penegak hukum,penyempurnaan standar pelayanan dan sistem pelayanan yang inovatif (egovernment). Tiga hal yang menjadi target dari Gerakan Indonesia Melayani, yaitu bagaimana meningkatkan kualitas manusianya, bagaimana memperbaiki sistem dan aturannya, serta bagaimana meningkatkan sarana dan prasarana pelayanan publiknya. Gerakan Indonesia Melayani ini dilaksanakan oleh mahasiswa didampingi dosen pembimbing lapangan melalui Kerja Nyata Revolusi Mental (KKN-RM). Subtema yang dilaksanakan dari gerakan Indonesia melayani yaitu “ sistem pengaduan masyarakat” di desa Batu Beriga Kabupaten Bangka Tengah. Targetnya adalah tercapainya sistem pelayanan terbaik dari pemerintah desa, dengan segala informasi yang yang menyangkut tata kelola pelayanannya. Oleh karena itu kelompok KKN-RM desa Batu Beriga melakukan kegiatan sosialisasi tentang pentingnya untuk mengetahui prosedur layanan pengaduan masyarakat dan mempermudah masyarakat dalam memberi saran dan informasi penting kepada pemerintah desa sehingga informasi tersebut cepat ditanggapi oleh pemerintah desa

Abstract

Desa Terentang III ditetapkan menjadi sebuah desa pada tanggal 10 September 1947 dan masuk ke daerah otonom Kecamatan Koba Kabupaten Bangka. Tahun 2003 terjadi pemekaran Kabupaten Bangka, sehingga desa ini masuk dalam wilayah Kecamatan Koba Kabupaten Bangka Tengah. Masyarakat desa Terentang III masih dominan menggantungkan mata pencaharian mereka di sektor pertanian, perkebunan, pertambangan dan nelayan.potensi desa salah satunya di sektor pariwisata yaitu pantai Terentang III. Pantai tersebut sudah dikembangkan oleh pemerintah daerah setempat, dimana di area pantai tersebut sudah terdapat ruang terbuka hijau (RTH), taman yang hijau, mushola, toilet, arena panjat tebing, gazebo, jalan setapak yang telah dicor sebagai track jogging, lahan parkir yang luas. Oleh karena itu, melalui pengabdian tahun 2019, Tim pengabdian berinisiatif mengoptimalisasikan potensi sumber daya alam yang tersedia di Desa Terentang III.

Abstract

Program pengabdian ini adalah tentang pemanfaatan mesin tetas telur yang diaplikasikan di Desa Bencah Kabupaten Bangka Selatan untuk membantu masyarakat meningkatkan perekonomian mereka. Pengabdian dilakukan dengan beberapa tahapan, tahap pertama adalah observasi dan wawancara permasalahan mitra, tahap kedua penentuan fokus dan solusi permasalahan, tahap ketiga penerapan pengabdian dan tahap terakhir adalah pendampingan kegiatan. Berdasarkan observasi awal bahwa pada masa pandemi ini beberapa masyarakat Desa bencah sulit mendapatkan pekerjaan. Berdasarkan wawancara dan survey awal juga, beberapa dari masyarakat menginginkan beternak ayam untuk mengatasi kondisi sulit ini, namun mereka kesulitan menetaskan telur karena kondisi cuaca yang tidak menentu sehingga tingkat keberhasilan penetasn relatif sangat rendah. Pengabdian yang dilakukan adalah dengan memberikan bantuan dua unit mesin tetas telur kepada dua kelompok mitra di desa Bencah sekaligus penyuluhan bagaimana sistem penggunaan mesin. Agar mendapatkan hasil yang maksimal, selain pemanfaatan mesin tetas telur, kegiatan yang dilakukan adalah memberikan pendampingan kepada masyarakat bagaimana cara pembiakan ayam.

Abstract

SLB YPAC Pangkal Pinang is one of the schools that provides educational services for children with special needs. This community service departs from the visit of the University of Bangka Belitung to YPAC Pangkal Pinang, In the meeting, there were several things that were of concern as an effort to create collaboration in the development of education for children with special needs. To the Collaboration of UBB and YPAC, at this time we from Mechanical Engineering will focus on children with disabilities, currently our partners from the Foundation for the Education of Disabled Children complain about the absence of tools for children with disabilities, the results of our interview with the chairman of YPAC Pangkal Pinang that children with disabilities will be better if given a tool for them to practice walking, so that they can immediately feel the sensation of walking like humans in general even though it uses aids. Currently we have succeeded in making a walker for children with disabilities and can be utilized by YPAC Pangkal Pinang. The tool can function as it should and we make the tool more flexible to be used by several children of different ages.

Abstract

Breeding ducks has several advantages, including: 1) the stages of raising ducks are easier; growth period; 2) duck growth is much faster, need 40 days to harvest; 3) marketing of meat and egg crops is easier; and 4) you can sell other parts to ducks, duck feathers for crafts and their droppings can be used as catfish feed. For laying ducks, their eggs can be harvested when they are 5 to 7 months old. Breeding ducks promises big enough profits that one of the livestock groups "Taret Jaya" has been raising broiler ducks since 2022. The community service partner is the Taret Jaya livestock group, located in Air Anyir village, Merawang sub-district, Bangka Regency. Based on the results of the survey to partner locations, there were several partner problems, including: manual counting of ingredients, limited knowledge of duck feed mixture ingredients, limited knowledge in making duck feed (fermentation process), and the mixing process in making feed was still manual. Currently, partners chop the feed ingredients using machetes and stir the feed ingredients using a hoe. The ingredients that have been stirred are then directly given to the ducks without going through a fermentation process. Through community service at this department level, the service team provides a solution that is offered in the form of a duck feed mixer machine. Mixing time with 50-60 kg of mixed material using a machine is 6 times faster than manually, namely around 5 minutes, compared to manual which takes 30 minutes. The service team has handed over to service partners, among other things: one unit of feed mixing machine, DOD duck seeds, feed making materials, and other supporting equipment for raising livestock. With this machine, partners can increase their livestock productivity.
