Abstract

In the modern era, teachers can use jumbled words as a medium in the learning-teaching process, especially in English. This research aims to discover the students' performance in arranging simple sentences utilizing jumbled-word cards. This research relays on quantitative descriptive research. The respondents of this research are the eight-grade students of MTs Al Kautsar Sleman in the academic year 2021/2022. The researchers select one class as the respondents, consisting of 15 (fifteen) students. The students were taught by applying a jumbled-words technique. The instrument for collecting data was a test. After collecting data, the researchers analyzed students’ performance by measuring the grammatical aspect of the test results. The test is about simple present tense and present continuous tense. This research shows that 10 (ten) students’ have 8 (eight) scores and 5 (five) students have 7 (seven) scores. Both are categorized in the "good" performance category. The mean average score for the student's performance in arranging jumbled words into simple sentences 7,6 is categorized as "good" performance. This research shows that students could understand most items in Subject + Verb. It is proven by the performance score percentage of 35% or 592 points. Meanwhile, the lowest true work in arranging the word is on the use of subject + verb + object + adjective/adverb with 32% or 552 points.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dari pengembangan media aplikasi identifikasi multiple intelligence by Howard Gardner dalam penentuan putusan karir. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dengan pendekatan deskriptif-kualitatif. Dalam penelitian ini, model evaluasi yang digunakan adalah model evaluasi CIPP (Context, Input, Process, dan Product). Model evaluasi CIPP dipilih karena aspek yang ditinjau dalam model penelitian ini dianggap lebih komprehensif dibandingkan dengan model evaluasi lainnya. Terdapat empat aspek evaluasi dalam model CIPP, yaitu evaluasi context yang meliputi latar belakang pembuatan media, evaluasi input yang meliputi sarana/ bahan/ sumber daya yang mendukung fungsi dari pengemangan media yang digunakan, evaluasi process yaitu evalusi penggunaan media, dan evaluasi product yaitu evaluasi hasil dari produk yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada evaluasi pengembangan media identitfikasi tipe kecerdasan individu by Howard Gardner dengan berbasis aplikasi android. Dengan adanya evaluasi media tersebut diharapkan pengembangan aplikasi nantinya dapat berkembang lebih baik dan memiliki kebermanfaatan yang lebih optimal.

Abstract

Students need to pay attention to good self-appearance because this can give a positive impression and other people can describe their good personality. In addition, paying attention to self-appearance can increase the level of self-confidence of students because they will feel confident, brave about what is being done and can think more creatively and will even feel more confident when speaking in public because the student already looks as desired. This research uses qualitative methods with interview instruments and documentation studies. The impact of self-appearance on student self-confidence states that self-appearance is very influential because with a maximum self-appearance according to himself and comfortable with this appearance can foster more confidence. Self-appearance can reflect one's personality because by paying attention to self-appearance others will judge ourselves more positively. Someone who pays attention to their appearance is usually very concerned about neatness, politeness, cleanliness and suitability of clothing colors. Paying attention to personal appearance can increase learning motivation and student learning outcomes

Abstract

The increase in technology users and internet networks can increase the possibility of someone experiencing cyberbullying, both as a perpetrator and victim. This study aims to look at cyberbullying behavior in Guidance and Counseling students at Yogyakarta University of Technology. This research uses a qualitative method. The results showed that the forms of cyberbullying behavior carried out by UTY counseling guidance students are flaming (anger), harassment (harassment), denigration (defamation) and outing (information leakage) and also social media used to carry out cyberbullying are Whatsapp and Instagram. Factors that influence cyberbullying include hurt feelings, peer association and the use of social media. The impact felt by victims is that they feel less confident, embarrassed and more careful in choosing the content to be uploaded on social media, and more vigilant in acting so that they are not always considered wrong by others.

Abstract

Proses penyesuaian diri sangat penting, khusunya bagi mahasiswa rantau yang baru mengenal lingkungan baru. Ketidakmampuan dalam menyesuaian diri dengan baik dilingkungan baru berpengaruh pada motivasi belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penyesuaian diri terhadap motivasi belajar pada mahasiswa rantau di Universitas Teknologi Yogyakarta. Metode penelitian ini yaitu metode kuantitatif dengan populasi seluruh mahasiswa rantau di Universitas Teknologi Yogyakarta dengan sampel sebanyak 126 mahasiswa rantau, dengan teknik Stratified Random Sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu skala penyesuaian diri dan skala motivasi belajar. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan uji regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perolehan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 dan t hitung > t tabel (13,218 > 1,979). Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini yaitu terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penyesuaian diri terhadap motivasi belajar pada mahasiswa rantau di Universita Teknologi Yogyakarta. Abstract

Broken home is defined as a family that is fractured, not harmonious and does not work like a harmonious and peaceful family. The condition of a broken home family encourages children to have resilience skills in living life. Students who are in a disharmonious family environment will have an impact on themselves, one of which is a lack of motivation to learn. This study aims to determine the relationship between the resilience abilities of broken home students and their learning motivation at MAN 2 Yogyakarta. This study uses a quantitative approach with correlational methods. Data analysis technique using pearson product moment correlation. The population in this study were all broken home students in class X and XI MAN 2 Yogyakarta, consisting of 31 students. The research results obtained p = 0.003<0.05, so H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. The correlation coefficient of 0.521 is positive in the range 0.40-0.599 in the medium category. The results obtained indicate that there is a significant relationship between resilience abilities and the learning motivation.

Abstract

Student delinquency is a form of juvenile delinquency committed in the student category and occurs in the school environment. Where student delinquency occurs due to a violation of the rules set at achool. This study aims to determine how the role of the Guidance and Counseling teacher in overcoming student delinquency that occurs in SMA Negeri 1 Maja. The research method used is qualitative method. The primary source of this research is the Guidance and Counseling Teacher while the secondary source is student affairs and the student concerned. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The research instrument used is an interview guide.based on the result of the study, it is found that there are forms of student delinquency in SMA Negeri 1 Maja in the form of being late for school, skipping school or alfa or without information, making fake letters not from parents, jumping fences, and smoking. It can be concluded that the student delinquency, namely by reminding related to the point system that is enforces and what the consequences are and coubleing services are carried out to help students overcome obstacles in themselves.

Abstract

Broken home families can have a negative impact on students' interest in learning, so it is important for schools and parents to shape students' interest in learning. The purpose of this study is to provide an overview, identify the factors, and evaluate the efforts of counseling guidance teachers in increasing the learning interest of students from broken home families, with the hope of making a significant contribution to understanding the impact of broken home families on students' learning interests and offering practical recommendations. This study uses a qualitative approach, with observation, interviews and documentation as data collection techniques. The results of the study show that students with broken home backgrounds have varying learning interests as a result of individual psychological and emotional factors. Through the results of this study, it is hoped that Counseling Guidance teachers can provide emotional support, help students manage stress and internal conflicts, and provide strategies to increase learning motivation.

Abstract

Marriage is an agreement made by two people, a man and a woman. In this case the agreement between a man and a woman with the aim of forming a happy and eternal family must be based on the Almighty Godhead, as a religious principle in Pancasila. As well known, marriage is a physical and spiritual bond between a man and a woman who generally come from different environments, especially from their original family environment, then bind themselves to achieve a goal, namely an eternal and happy family. This research was conducted to determine the factors and impacts of young marriage. The method used is qualitative descriptive case study. Marrying at a young age has a negative impact on the family that is formed due to a lack of careful planning. It can cause problems or disputes that will occur in a household, where this young marriage has a big impact on harmony in the household. In reality, harmony is not an easy thing for every married couple to do, because married life is sometimes complicated and complex and requires carrying out responsibilities as a married couple.

Abstract

The development of technology in the current era is very related to human life. The development of technology, one of which is the development of the internet, has resulted in one of the problems, namely the use of social media for negative things, for example the klitih phenomenon in Yogyakarta. This research aims to: 1) find out why social media has an impact on the existence of klitih, 2) how social media on the rise of juvenile delinquency klitih, 3) find out what social media is used in the existence of klitih and 4) find out what efforts can prevent klitih action. This research uses a qualitative approach with the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. From this research, it was found that social media has an impact on the way of thinking and point of view of klitih juvenile delinquents. And social media is also used as a means of communicating with other perpetrators. Efforts that can be made to deal with this klitih problem are with parental communication patterns, school policies, living environment and policies from the authorities.
