Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to evaluate teachers' responses to two learning models, namely problem-based learning and scaffolding, in the context of science subjects at Junior High School Negeri Satu Atap Pematang Jering. Methodology: The methodology used was descriptive quantitative research with a population of teachers in the school. The research sample consisted of 16 teachers selected by purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Main Findings: The main finding of this study shows that most teachers (75%) in Junior High School Negeri Satu Atap Pematang Jering responded positively to the use of problem-based learning and scaffolding models in science learning. These results indicate that both learning models effectively improve the quality of teaching and students' understanding of science materials. Novelty/Originality of this study: The novelty of this research lies in its specific focus on analyzing teachers' responses to problem-based learning and scaffolding models. This research contributes to the existing literature in this field by providing a deeper understanding of how these two learning models can be applied in science learning in secondary schools. The results of this study can serve as a guideline for teachers and schools in selecting and implementing effective learning strategies to improve teacher competence and student learning outcomes in science subjects.

Abstract

Students' creative thinking abilities are needed in higher education today, especially in biochemistry courses, by applying PBL learning. This research aimed to analyze the relationship between PBL learning and students' creative thinking abilities by applying PBL learning in biochemistry learning. The method used in this study is the mixed method using a sequential explanatory model. The sample used in this study was 52 students. The methods used in collecting data are questionnaires, interviews, and tests. The data collection instruments used in this study were essay sheets and questionnaires. Data analysis used for quantitative data is descriptive statistics and correlation tests. Qualitative data is analyzed using Miles & Huberman. The results of the research, namely from the data that has been obtained through correlation trials, show that there is a relationship between the two variables. In addition, from the interview results, the PBL learning model influences students' creative thinking skills. The data is reinforced by the results of interviews that students feel that their creative thinking skills increase with PBL learning. It was concluded that PBL learning relates to students' creative thinking abilities, especially in biochemistry courses.

Abstract

Project Based Learning model was chosen as a solution found by researchers in the field regarding the low creative thinking ability of students. Project Based Learning model based on projects by observing teacher learning videos downloaded by prospective teacher students and then analyzed together with group friends. This study aims to analyze students' creative thinking skills through a project-based Project Based Learning model by designing RPS and SAP lectures, then implementing them and finally evaluating. This research is class action research, which is conducted in several cycles. Instruments in the form of student activity are observation sheets and evaluation tools in the form of multiple-choice tests to collect data on learning outcomes to see student creativity in analyzing the learning videos. The three instruments are made based on a grid derived from a conceptual framework. The result found broadly speaking, in one cycle there are four common stages, namely: the planning stage, the acting stage, the observation stage, and the reflection stage. Learning is carried out using a project-based learning model. Student activities were observed by observers and recorded (video was made). Based on the results of observations and video recordings, reflection is carried out for planning the next cycle of learning. At the end of each cycle a post-test was held to see the activity data collected by the observation method and the learning outcomes data by the test method.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to analyze the impact of student character values that have not been identified as Independent Curriculum Class IV Science Teacher's Book. Methodology: The method used is qualitative. Researchers use a document study instrument to collect the required literature, such as soft books/hard books, and others. The sample used in this study was class IV science subjects in the Independent Curriculum teacher's book. Main Findings: This study shows that in class IV, several character values are not found in students. This is because the teaching and learning process is not directed at these character values. This hurts students, affecting the learning process in class and when students are in their environment. Novelty/Originality of this study: The latest from this study is to analyze the character value of students in elementary schools in aspects of the independent curriculum.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan dan meneliti keefektifan suatu media pembelajaran kimia untuk materi sistem periodik unsur. Media yang dikembangkan adalah edmodo berbasis social network. Pada penelitian pengembangan ini digunakan model pengembangan Borg and Gall, dengan tujuan utama sebagai pengembangan produk dan pengujian keefektifan produk dalam mencapai tujuan dalam penelitian. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket dan lembar kunjungan web oleh siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan siswa sangat tertarik terhadap web yang ditunjukkan oleh beberapa indikator yaitu banyaknya jumlah siswa yang terdaftar sebagai member pada grup dan respon baik siswa yang terlihat pada setiap postingan guru. Selain itu hasil perhitungan skor angket tentang tanggapan siswa terhadap web menggunakan Rating Scale yaitu 2180, ini mengindikasikan bahwa respon siswa “setuju” tentang media. Penggunaan media edmodo berbasis social network dalam pembelajaran kimia untuk materi sistem periodik unsur adalah efektif.

Abstract

Dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran banyak komponen yang terlibat diantaranya adalah bahan ajar. Bahan ajar adalah segala bentuk bahan yang digunakan untuk membantu guru/dosen/instruktur dalam melaksanakan kegiatan belajar mengajar dikelas. Bahan yang dimaksud bisa berupa bahan tertulis maupun bahan tidak tertulis. Pengembangan bahan ajar harus dapat memecahkan masalah ataupun kesulitan dalam belajar. Salah satu bahan ajar yang akan dikembangkan adalah berbentuk bahan ajar cetak yaitu modul. Modul berbasis kontekstual, merupakan salah satu pendekatan yang sesuai untuk mengembangkan sebuah modul. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Mengembangkan modul berbasis kontekstual materi koloid untuk mata kuliah kimia dasar II dan (2) Mengetahui respon mahasiswa terhadap modul kontekstual materi koloid untuk mata kuliah kimia dasar II. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan. produk yang dikembangkan berupa modul kontekstual materi koloid untuk mata kuliah Kimia Dasar II di prodi pendidikan kimia. Penelitian pengembangan modul kontekstual materi koloid menggunakan model ADDIE. Setelah melakukan validasi oleh ahli media dan materi, telah dinyatakan layak untuk diujicobakan, produk diujicobakan ke dalam kelompok kecil. Hasil respon 10 orang mahasiswa prodi kimia adalah jumlah presentase 86,8%, dengan kriteria : sangat positif. Dari data validasi dan respon mahasiswa dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul berbasis pendekatan kontekstual mempunyai respon sangat positif dari mahasiswa.

Abstract

Sebagian besar pembelajaran kimia harus melalui percobaan baik langsung di laboratorium maupun secara virtual. Kendala penyelenggaraan percobaan secara langsung, yaitu: tidak tersedia peralatan dan bahan kimia yang memadai, tidak adanya laboratorium, tidak adanya asisten laboratorium, percobaan dianggap sebagai sesuatu yang membahayakan sehingga dalam pelaksanaannya dibutuhkan persiapan dan pengalaman di laboratorium. Mengatasi kendala tersebut percobaan dapat dilakukan dengan lab virtual yang dikembangakan Macromedia Flash 8. Tujuan pengembangan lab virtual materi asam basa ini adalah untuk digunakan pada pembelajaran Kimia Dasar II di prodi Pendidikan Kimia. Lab virtual dikembangan dengan menggunakan model ADDIE dengan tahapan Analisis, Desain, Development, Implementasi, dan Evaluasi. Hasil validasi ahli materi diperoleh 85.33% (sangat baik), ahli media: 90.67% (sangat baik). Berdasarkan data tersebut, diketahui bahwa laboratorium virtual beserta buku panduan penggunaannya layak (sangat baik) untuk diimplementasikan. Implementasi dilakukan uji coba produk dan diperoleh hasil 78.4% (baik/menarik) dari kelompok kecil dan tanggapan dosen sebesar 90.67% (sangat baik). Simpulan dari pengembangan yang telah dilakukan lab virtual yang dikembangkan layar digunakan untuk pembelajaran materi asam basa mata kuliah Kimia Dasar II

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrumen penilaian afektif pada pembelajaran kimia dengan materi reaksi eksoterm dan endoterm sehingga memudahkan dosen untuk mengukur ranah afektif mahasiswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (development research) dengan sasaran yang dituju yaitu pengembangan instrumen penilaian dimana ranah yang difokuskan adalah ranah afektif mahasiswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi ahli materi dan desain terhadap perangkat instrument penilaian, lembar observasi penilaian afektif dan angket penilaian diri mahasiswa dan angket repon dosen sebagai praktikalitas. Setelah perangkat penilaian afektif dibuat maka perangkat tersebut divalidasi oleh ahli. Dari hasil analisis yang dilakukan terhadap penilaian afektif ranah sikap, minat, dan konsep diri diperoleh penilaian selama satu kali pertemuan bahwa mahasiswa termasuk kategori amat baik sebanyak 2,7 %, , kriteria baik sebanyak 55,55%, kriteria cukup baik sebanyak 33,33% dan kriteria kurang baik sebanyak 8,3%. Sedangkan untuk kategori tidak baik tidak ditemukan dalam proses penilaian (0%). Dan untuk angket respon dosen diperoleh jawaban dengan persentase skor 80%, sehingga menurut teori respon dosen terhadap produk termasuk dalam kategori kuat atau positif. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalaf instrumen penilaian afektif yang dikembangkan oleh penulis dapat digunakan untuk mengukur ranah afektif mahasiswa pada materi reaksi eksoterm dan endoterm

Abstract

Penyajian materi pembelajaran dengan pendekatan kontekstual berbasis kearifan lokal akan membantu siswa untuk memahami materi pembelajaran dimana pengetahuan akan diperoleh melalui pengalaman danlingkungan sekitarnya. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, dalam penelitian ini akan dikembangkan e-modul kontekstual berbasis kearifan lokalmateri pembelajaran koloid untuk siswa SMA.Penelitian ini termasuk kedalam penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan 4D.Instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar penilaian ahli isi dan ahli mediaserta penilaian guru kimia yang bertugas di kabupaten Muaro Bungo untuk mengetahui kelayakan e-modul, lembar observasi kelompok kecil dan besar digunakan untuk mengetahui tingkat kepraktisan serta lembar tes untuk mengetahui efisiensi e-modul. Populasi penelitian yaitu siswa SMA kelas XI di kabupaten Muaro Bungo. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa e-modul yang dikembangkan layak secara teoritis untuk digunakan berdasarkan penilaian ahli isi, ahli media dan penilaian guru serta praktis dan efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa SMA berdasarkan uji coba kelompok kecil dan besar.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: The aim of this research activity is to find out about the description of the customary syara', syara' based on Kitabullah, find out about the description of skills-based innovation, and find out the results of the value analysis of the customary syara', syara' based on Kitabullah for skills-based innovation at Al-Hidayah Methodology: The type of research used is quantitative research. This study uses data in the form of numbers as a tool to analyze the information to be known. The population used is teachers at the Al-Hidayah Foundation with a sample of 21 teachers. The instruments used are questionnaires and interviews, and the data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical testing. Main Findings: The results of the study obtained in the teacher response questionnaire showed that teachers who chose strongly agree had a percentage of 23.8%, in the agree category 66.6%, in the neutral category 9.5%, and 0% in the disagree and strongly disagree categories. The results of the study in the teacher perception questionnaire showed that the percentage was 14.2% in the strongly agree category, in the agree category 61.9%, then the neutral category 23.8%, then 0% in the disagree and strongly disagree categories. Novelty/Originality of this study: Customary values ​​based on Islamic law and the book of Allah can be applied in learning, such as in the curriculum and non-academic activities, namely cultural extracurricular activities such as dance and tradiitional music. The use of these customary values ​​is not only beneficial for students, but also for schools that implement them because they can advance the school environment.
