Abstract

Diarrhea is a disease that occurs due to changes in the frequency of bowel movements and can cause death. In 2018, 115.889 cases of diarrhea were found in Bali Province. Information on the relationship between locations indicates the spatial effect in the model. Model estimation was done by using spatial regression analysis. This study aims to determine what factors influence diarrhea cases in Bali Province. The results show that the number of diarrhea cases in a district is influenced by the surrounding districts. This is reinforced in the Moran’s I test which shows spatial dependence. In the analysis of the Spatial Error Model (SEM), it was obtained that the value of was 57,69% and the variables that significantly affected diarrhea cases in Bali Province were population density and sanitation facilities

Abstract

This study purposed to know the effect of art and socio-culture on the public perception of tattoos. The data used in this study is the primary data collected using a questionnaires distributed to 200 people with 100 non-tattooed people and 100 tattooed people. This study used covariance-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS software, and used three latent variables such as art, socio-culture and tattoo perception. The results of this study show art and socio-culture have a significant effect on tattoo perception.

Abstract

On August 2018, an earthquake occurred in North Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara which can be felt from a neighbor region such as West Lombok, Karangasem, and many others. The earthquake caused many casualties and material made many people feel sympathy for the victims of the earthquake. Therefore, many aids and donations came to the affected areas. However, the arrival of aids didn't result in similar perception among victims. The aim of this research is to analyze aid effectiveness of earthquake disaster victims in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. In addition, the expectation, realization, and response time of aids will be considered. This research implemented by using partial least square-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). This research uses six-first order latent variable, three-second order and one-third order latent variable were built by hierarchical construct model. Data were collected by using questionnaires with 5 likert scale on December 2018 that were distributed directly to 180 victims of earthquake disaster with purposive sampling method. The results show the expectation, realization, and response time regarding the aids for the victims was significant in affecting aid effectiveness and aids of earthquake disaster victims was effective.

Abstract

At this time, almost everyone once to consume instant noodles. The high interest of public on the instant noodles should be balanced with enough knowledge about the noodles and its nutritional content, either on it’s instant noodles which have similar nutrient content and nutrient content that become identifier of each this group of noodles. The method can be used to obtain information on several brands of instant noodles that have similar nutrient content and nutrient content type that become identifier of each group of instant noodles is biplot analysis. Biplot analysis can show mie and nutrient content types simultaneously in a two-dimension plot. So that from a plot shows noodles and nutritional content types simultaneously, so that obtain information about the instant noodle that have similar nutrient content and nutrient content types into identifier of each group of instant noodles. This study was used 33 brands of instant noodles as observed objects with the type of nutrient content were observed there were nine. This study aims to find out some instant noodles that have similar nutrient content and nutrient content type that become identifier of each group of instant noodles. From the biplot analysis, obtained six groups of instant noodles with different identifier variables.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to be able to determine some factors that affected customer satisfaction on the quality of the services provided by LPD Sidakarya. Samples of this study were 150 respondents. The respondents were customers of LPD Sidakarya who have been registered since at least a year ago. There were two variables in this study; i.e. perception and expectation variables in which each of the variable had 30 indicators that affected the satisfaction of the customer on service quality. In addition, this study also determined five factors that affected customer satisfaction on the service quality. The method used was confirmatory factor analysis. It was found on the results of this study that the formed factor of these 30 indicators that affected the satisfaction of the customer on service quality indeed five main factors consisted of tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy. The most dominant factor obtained was reliability.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the dynamic model equation of autoregressive distributed lag by using koyck method, to find out the effect of log US dollar exchange rate and log inflation on log stock price in 20142018, and to forecast value of log stock price on January 2019August 2019. The data used in 20142018. The data was transformed into logarithm format. Time series plot of log US dollar exchange rate, log inflation, and log stock price suggest that the fluctuation in the data, for instance, both upward and downward trends, during the period. We obtained that the Koyck transformation could changed the lag distribution model into autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) dynamic model. Furthermore, the log of US dollar exchange rate and log inflation have negative effect on log stock price in particular period. We measured forecasting accuracy using mean absolute prediction error (MAPE) and concluded that ARDL forecasting using Koyck model shows a significant increase in stock price.

Abstract

This research aim to knowing the variables classification that distinguish graduated time student between proper time with not proper time on FMIPA Udayana Universities with use CHAID Method. This research conducted at FMIPA Udayana Universities, with research sample about 751 persons student graduated FMIPA Udayana Universities period February 2008 until August 2011. CHAID method produce 7 segment there are: student graduated from Biology department and Chemistry women gender; from Biology and Chemistry man gender; from Mathematic department and Physic with IPK?3,00; from Mathematic department and Physic with IPK>3,00 and thesis period?6 months; from Mathematic department and Physic with IPK>3,00 and period thesis>6 months; from Pharmacy as well as student graduated from Computer science department.

Abstract

Isotonic beverages is a drink that has a composition and the same osmotic pressure of body fluids. One of isotonic fluid and electrolyte replacement for the missing body. The main properties caused by consuming isotonic drinks, among others, to restore power after the move which can be exhausting. Denpasar City community largely has activities/jobs that drain a lot of energy. This condition is asufficient condition for both the isotonic beverage market and have many opportunities to promote its products to the city of Denpasar. Therefore, in this study wanted to know the competition some isotonic drinks brands with a range of variables examined in this case represented the city of Denpasar with Multidimensional Scaling Analysis and using Biplot Analysis of the perceptual mapping.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine factors that influence consumer’s decisions to choose a brand of mobile phone and to determine the dominant factor influencing consumer’s decision in choosing brand of mobile phone. The method used is factor analysis. Factor analysis is one part of the analysis of several variables that are used to reduce the data, which is a process to summarize a number of independent variables associated with the factors named mapped or grouped into a new variable. The results showed that there are seven factors that influence consumers to choose the brand of mobile phone: the quality factor, brand, features, product durability, shape or model, price, and warranty. While among the seven factors, the quality factor is a dominant factors that affect consumers to choose brand of mobile phone.

Abstract

Statistical analysis which aims to analyze a linear relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable is known as regression analysis. To estimate parameters in a regression analysis method commonly used is the Ordinary Least Square (OLS). But the assumption is often violated in the OLS, the assumption of normality due to one outlier. As a result of the presence of outliers is parameter estimators produced by the OLS will be biased. Bootstrap Residual is a bootstrap method that is applied to the residual resampling process. The results showed that the residual bootstrap method is only able to overcome the bias on the number of outliers 5% with 99% confidence intervals. The resulting parameters estimators approach the residual bootstrap values ??OLS initial allegations were also able to show that the bootstrap is an accurate prediction tool.
