Abstract

The existence of a tourist attraction required improving the welfare of the surrounding community. This study aims to find out how many contributions of rafting tourist attraction in society Kedewatan village, in order to contribute positively to the welfare of local communities. Therefore, this research is expected to provide benefits to related parties. This researchused of primary data and secondary data sources, while the type of data used quantitative and qualitative data. Data were collected through observation, interview and literature study. Determination of informants in this research usedpurposive sampling technique. The data analysis used is qualitative data analysis techniques and restricted by contribution concept, the concept of community participation, and the concept of community-based tourism. The results obtained are the company's contribution to Kedewatan society been running smoothly, which contributes to the Kedewatan village in the form of donations which pay each month, contributing directly to the public in the form of add job vacanciesfor local people, contributing indirectly to the local communities that helping local community businesses. To optimizie job vacanciesfor local communities,it is necessary to co-operation between companies and Kedewatan communities in recruitment labor. Abstract

This research was conducted in Munggu village, Mengwi subdistrict, Badung Regency. This research aims toidentify the obstacles experienced by Munggu village as a tourism village in Badung regency. This research used qualitative method, which prefers the descriptive data or the data in the form of sentences instead of numbers. This data was obtained through observation, interviews, literature study and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed using the concept of obstacles. The results of this study indicate that obstacles experienced by Munggu village as a tourism village in Badung regency consists of twotypes of obstacles, internal obstacles and external obstacles. Internal obstacles are related about the tourism product that is not maximized yet, limited funds and lack of village facilities completeness, managerial organization that is not optimal, and community participation is still lacking. Meanwhile, external obstacles are related about to the absence of standardization from the government for tourism villages, the role of local government is still lacking and Munggu tourism village has not been incorporated in the network of tourism villages. Abstract

The Museum of Tenth November Surabaya is the only museum that keeps a history of the struggle of the arek-arek Suroboyo in maintaining the independence of the Republic of Indonesia. To commemorate the services of the warriors, the Heroes Monument was erected. In order to support the Heroes Monument, an underground museum was built so as not to disturb the main attraction, namely the Heroes Monument itself. Nowadays, the people of Surabaya are less aware of the history of the fighters so they are less interested in visiting this museum.This study uses a qualitative method which aims to identify The Museum of Tenth November Surabaya as historical tourism. Data collection in this study were observation, in-depth interviews, and documentaries. Determination of informants is done by purposive sampling. The data analysis used is descriptive qualitative.Observation results show The Museum of Tenth November Surabaya stores 47 collections and 4 weapons of war from allied spoils. Based on the SWOT analysis, the results of this study are the Surabaya Tenth November Museum which has the potential of innovation that can be developed to attract more tourists who come to visit.Keyword: Heroes Monument, The Museum of Tenth November Surabaya, Development of Tourist Attraction, Heritage Tourism, SWOT.

Abstract

Facts indicate the potential of tourism in the Central Sumba Regency has not been able to attract tourist arrivals. The role stakeholders, especially SKPD Department of Culture and tourism (Disbudpar) Central Sumba Regency have a heavy duty to make tourism development. The method used was a case study approach (inductive) using qualitative methods. Data were analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques with presentation techniques qualitative descriptive data. The results of this research are the role Disbudpar Kab. Central Sumba in tourism development constrained human resources issues and other findings are necessary translation of roles more effectively and efficiently with attention to personal ability, social skills and intellectual abilities in the future culture. The next finding is the difficulty Disbudpar Kab. Central Sumba in the implementation of the work plan caused by many factor. It is important to consider in the future development of tourism is the attention to the internal and external coordination and the determination of the potential market rating that will facilitate the development of tourism attractions such as the establishment or featured travel products and preparation of human resources, infrastructure and other supporting facilities.

Abstract

ABSTRACT In the development of tourism destinations in Bali have a comprehensive development plan, in order to obtain the optimal benefits for the community, both in terms of economic, social and cultural. Type of data used in the form of qualitative data, primary and secondary data sources, data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and literature. Determination of informants by purposive sampling techniques and use descriptive-qualitative data analysis. Development of quality destinations in bali is done by stages include: improving the quality of human resources, engage and empower people, build a community-based tourism, quality tourism products packaging, packaging components tourism product, tourism service pack, recruit qualified travelers.

Abstract

This study entitled parking attendants interaction with tourists at Kuta Beach tourist attraction, Badung District, Bali. The background backs by parking rates that have been marked-up by unscrupulous parking attendants at a cost that does not match the price listed on the parking ticket. The purpose of this study is to determine the practice of parking by parking attendants at Kuta Beach tourist attraction and to understand the interaction between parking attendants with tourists in Kuta Beach tourist attraction. The method used in this study is a qualitative method. Qualitative methods referred in this study is an overview of the practice of parking in general and the practice of withdrawal of parking rates that have been marked up by parking attendants in Kuta Beach tourist attraction, Bali. From these results, it can be explained that the number of tourists who pay are not as it is printed on the tickets, in fact tourist pay higher rate than in the parking ticket. Based on the result from questioner, tourist are not satisfied with the parking attendant quality and the parking area condition. There is no real interaction between tourists and parking attendants, only when tourists want to have their bike/car out then the parking attendant asking for the money. Sometimes parking attendants didn’t show their gratitude at all to the tourists by saying thank you.

Abstract

The amount of tourist traffic on a Travel Attractions can cause problems regarding waste generated by tourist activity and garbage that comes from the leaves of trees that are in the area. management should have the right strategy in terms of waste management that cleanliness is maintained well. This paper aims to determine how the waste management system in the Monkey Forest. In the discussion of the data used are met through technical documentation, literature review, observation, and in-depth interviews. Data were grouped and then analyzed descriptively described. The results of the data that has been analyzed shows that waste management is done by the Monkey Forest is a way to separate between organic and non-organic. For organic waste will be disposed of to land within the forest disekitaran Monkey Forest which also will be useful as a natural organic fertilizer. As for the non-organic waste bins Monkey Forest provides a special non-organic as much as 22 pieces are placed at some point every day trash from the trash will be collected in a trash can that was in the parking lot and after will be transported by janitor The village of Padang Tegal to be brought to Temesi.

Abstract

Tirta Empul Temple is one of the templesin balithat become a tourist attraction and crowded by tourists either domestic tourists or foreign tourists. The tourist attraction of Tirta Empul is unique because besides being a place of worship for Hindus as well as a holy bath. Besides that, Tirta Empul Temple also has its own unique history and architecture. Tirta Empul Tourist Attraction is managed by the Manukaya VillageCommunityand from the Gianyar Regency Government. This study aims to find out how the participation of Manukaya Village community in managing Tirta Empul Tourism Attraction. Then to find out the response of the Manukaya Village community to the Management of Tirta Empul Tourism Attraction. In this study data was collected by conducting direct observations to the field and conducting interviews with the community. The sample was determined using purposive sampling technique to determine the sample. And the data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques The results of this study indicate that the participation of the community of Manukaya Village towards the management of the attraction of Tirta Empul can be seen from the involvement of the local community directly managing the Tourist Attraction, through their obligation to work there alternately. All heads of families and youths in the Manukaya Traditional Village will have their turn to serve in the attraction of Tirta Empul, starting from those who are nurturing and those who do not have obligations in the traditional village or called Balu Angkep. The Aduk Manukaya Village Community Let all participate in the management of Tirta Empul's tourist attraction, both from planning, organizing, mobilizing people, and supervising. Overall the response as attitude of the Manukaya Village community to the management of Tirta Empul Tourism Attraction is look positive without complain. Although there are two groups included in this area, but participated groups directly in the management is Desa Adat Manukaya. Group desa adat Malat accepted with comfortable this situation. Abstract

The research titled is "relationship between tourism investors and lokal communities in Desa Pakraman Laplapan Petulu Village (Case Study Social Conflict)", purpose to understand the relationship undertaken by tourism investors with lokal communities that happened in the Ubud tourist destination. Data were collected through observation, interview and literature study. Infoman taken by purposive, which determine the informan with a certain considerations that are considered able to provide data to the maximum in accordance with the criteria of the research objectives. The collected data were analyzed descriptively qualitative. An important concept in the study include the concept of Typology Relations Styling in 3 Zone which consists of the outer zone, the middle zone and center zone. The results of this study indicate that, Desa Pakraman Laplapan as a region lies in the outer zone. Relationships that lived between tourism investors and lokal communities in Desa Pakraman Laplapan patterned conflictual. This pattern is shown by the regulation provided by the lokal community to tourism investors who are less rational. As for the view of the conflict is a way to snatch for limited resources. And one of them is the economic resource owned by the investor. Styling tourism investor relations with the lokal community in Desa Pakraman Laplapan has been sticking to the surface of the endless conflict. Abstract

The village is located in the district peninjoan Tembuku Bangli regency. Peninjoan village has an area of ??1,350 hectares and has four village boundary that is north of the yangapi village, south Undisan village, Bangbang villages east and west Yangapi. The total number of villages included in the part of the six districts, namely Tembuku village including the village Jahem. Subdistrict Tembuku which has an area of ??4982 hectares with a population of 2007 to 2011 amounted to 34.040 inhabitants. Peninjoan village administratively divided in 13 hamlets.Peninjoan village ecotourism has the potential to be developed into a tourist attraction nature. Type of data and data sources used are qualitative, quantitative, primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, questionnaires, documentary studies, literature study and data analysis techniques using qualitative descriptive analysis and SWOT analysis. Potential of the village peninjoan form unspoiled natural potential that can be developed into a tourist attraction. Natural potentials, which later will be made into eco-tourism agro-based activities in which these activities will be created an attraction that will be an attraction for tourists. The attraction in the form of tracking tours, cycling tour, and travel mute (silent tourism). To be able develop this potential requires the construction of facilities and infrastructure to support such activities.
