Abstract

The objective of the research was to find out the effectiveness of M-Bio technology on themanagement of solidwaste of tanneryindustry inSukaregang Garutforsustainable agricultureand to obtain the treatmentthat givesthe best results of the  waste management of solid wasteof tanneryindustryinSukaregangGarut into organic fertilizer.The research was conductedin theLaboratory ofthe Faculty ofAgriculture, UniversityofSiliwangiTasikmalayain3 stages.Stage-1was the contact time of M-Bio inthesolid waste with a dose of15ml/L24hours: 48hours: 72 hours: 96 hoursand120 hours, and thecheck(without treatment ofM-Bio). Theparametertested was the Crcontent.Stage-2was thecontinuationof thestage-1, toobservethe decreased levels ofCr+6, i.e.withtheincreasingdoses ofM-Bio to 20ml/Lwiththe contacts timeof 10, 15, and20days. The parametersobserved werethe content ofCr, N, P, K, andpH.Stage-3 was thefurthertesttoobtainthe besttreatmenttoproduceorganic fertilizer.Thetreatmentwasthe contact times 5, 10, 15 dayswith the doseof M-Bio 8.5;17;25.5;and34ml/L;so there were12treatmentcombinations. The parameterstested wereCr+6, total Cr, N,P,K, andpH.The results showedthatthe best treatmentcombinations toreduceCr+6were thetreatmentcombinationF(contact time 10days+dose of17ml/LM-Bio) andJ(contact time 15days+doseof17ml/LM-Bio) whichgivesthe lowestCr6+6+(from 1.21 to 2.56 mg/kg), andgave aquitehighcontentof nitrogen (N) (2.35 to 2.45%), and thecontent ofPhosphorous(P) andPotassium(K)below 0.1mg/kgandbelow0.5mg/kg, andthe pHwas4.55–5.05.It was concludedthat theM-Bio was effectiveandcouldreducetheharmfulCr, so thesolidwasteof tanning industryin Sukaregangcouldbeusedasorganicfertilizerforsustainableagriculture.

Abstract

The potential of coconut in Setiawaras Village, Cibalong District, Tasikmalaya Regency is very abundant. In general, people only sell coconut directly to collectors whose selling price is relatively small. The knowledge of the people who are still simple causes the optimization of the potential of coconut not to be processed optimally. Optimizing the potential of coconut in Setiawaras Village can be an alternative way to encourage the creation of a strong economy in the community. This community service activity aims to provide training on the manufacture of virgin coconut oil (VCO). The first method used in community service is counseling and the second is training. Counseling serves as a means to introduce and explain to the public the potential of coconut that exists in the community and provide an understanding of processing coconut into virgin coconut oil (VCO) which has higher benefits from a health and economic perspective. Furthermore, training activities were carried out to provide skills to the community in processing coconut into virgin coconut oil (VCO). The method of making VCO oil is done by a fermentation system using probiotics Saccharomyces sp and Lactobacillus sp. simple so that people can understand and do it. The targets of this community service activity are farmer groups and the Family Welfare Empowerment Women (PKK) group.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan keterampilan teknik pengawetan daging dan ikan dengan implementasi ice gel pada UMKM penjual sayur keliling. Target khusus kegiatan ITGbM ini adalah peningkatan keterampilan pada UMKM penjual sayur keliling yang tidak memiliki sistem pendingin portable untuk dagangan daging dan ikan sehingga terjadi peningkatan daya saing. Metode: melakukan edukasi dan pelatihan kepada penjual sayur keliling dalam membuat ice gel sebagai pendingin buatan yang murah dan hemat energi. Rencana kegiatan yang diusulkan adalah menyediakan perlengkapan pelatihan berikut mengadakan pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan ice gel, pemberian edukasi mengenai manfaat ice gel dan cara menggunakan ice gel sebagai media pengawet daging dan ikan portable tanpa energi listrik.  Luaran dari kegiatan ini adalah draft jurnal pengabdian, poster pengabdian teknologi tepat guna bagi pedagang sayur keliling. Hasil dari kegiatan PPM dalam bentuk ITGbM  tentang teknik pendingin portable pada UMKM penjual sayur keliling sangat bermanfaat bagi mitra. Melalui teknologi ice gel dapat meningkatkan daya simpan ikan dan daging serta meningkatkan kebersihan produk yang dijual. Respon peserta sangat baik dan telah mendapat pengalaman langsung dalam memahami cara membuat ice gel  serta menerapkan langsung dalam aktivitas penjualan sayur.Kata Kunci : Ice gel, pendingin portable, penjual sayur keliling.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan bimbingan dan pengarahan kepada para petani tentang pengelolaan dan penataan manajemen usahatani terpadu sebagai tindak lanjut dari penguatan program IPTEKDA LIPI 2012. Target khusus teridentifikasinya usaha pengelolaan terpadu yang dilakukan petani, tersusunnya sistem pencatatan keuangan petani sasaran, terbentuknya pola perguliran yang diterapkan petani dan terjaminnya keberlanjutan usahatani terpadu yang dilakukan petani. Metode: pendidikan dan pelatihan kepada petani pelaku usaha pertanian terpadu. Kegiatan yang dilakukan adalah pendidikan dan pelatihan sistem pencatatan keuangan dan bimbingan pola perguliran yang dilakukan serta diskusi dan tanya jawab untuk menetapkan pola perguliran selanjutnya. Hasil dari kegiatan PPM memperlihatkan, kondisi usaha tani terpadu yang dilakukan responden berkembang dengan baik. Petani menambahkan beberapa komoditas tanaman lainnya, seperti lada, cengkih, cabe rawit dan buah naga. Populasi ternak juga telah berkembang dengan baik sehingga sebagian besar petani telah memiliki ternak domba/kambing dan telah secara rutin melakukan penjualan ternaknya. Upaya pengelolaan usaha tani ternak juga sudah memanfaatkan limbah tanaman sebagai pakan ternak domba/kambing dan limbang kandang dari ternak domba sebagai pupuk bagi tanaman. Pupuk kandang dibuat dengan menggunakan teknologi yang dianjurkan sehingga lebih cepat dapat diaplikasikan pada tanaman. Pola perguliran yang perlu diterapkan saat ini dialihkan pada peningkatan produksi dan kualitas buah kelapa untuk mendukung diversifikasi horizontal yang sedang dilakukan yaitu pembuatan VCO. Diperlukan upaya untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran para petani agar senantiasa mencatat atau membukukan dan mendokumentasikan kegiatan usahataninya sehingga dapat digunakan untuk membantu perencanaan, perorganisasian, pengarahan dan pengendalian usahatani.Kata Kunci : Usahatani terpadu, IPTEKDA, VCO

Abstract

Al-kautsar 561 Islamic Boarding School Agriculture in carrying out the program to provide agricultural production facilities has problems in the procurement and distribution process of agricultural production facilities. The purpose of this paper is: (1) To examine the saprotan supply program and the saprotan procurement planning system in agriculture at Al-kautsar 561 Islamic Boarding School, (2) To study the saprotan procurement system in agriculture at Al-kautsar 561 Islamic Boarding School, and (3) To study the saprotan distribution system in Al-kautsar 561 Islamic Boarding School. The data collection method used is the method of active participation, observation, and active role in agricultural activities at the Al-kautsar 561 Islamic Boarding School. Using primary data and secondary data and using qualitative descriptive analysis. The process of procurement of agricultural production facilities uses a centralized system, namely by the Supply Chain Officer, the process of distributing agricultural production facilities uses a direct distribution system.

Abstract

The tourism sector in Indonesia is growing rapidly thanks to the abundant natural, social, cultural and regional potential. One educational tourist attraction that is currently developing is Arjuna Farm in Tasikmalaya City, which offers the concept of integrating the agricultural and fisheries sectors with the application of IoT (Internet of Things) technology. This research aims to analyze the application of IoT technology to support hydroponic production management at Arjuna Farm, especially in increasing the effectiveness, efficiency and quality of agricultural products. The research used a case study approach with a qualitative descriptive method, involving direct observation, in-depth interviews with the main managers (Mr. Andi and Mrs. Selvi), as well as analysis of secondary data from various literary sources. The research location was chosen by purposive sampling, located at Jalan Situ Cibereum, Tamanjaya, Tamansari, Tasikmalaya City, during November 2024. The research results show that POAC (Planning, Organizing, Actuating and Controlling) based management is implemented well, supported by IoT systems such as automatic watering, drip irrigation. This technology enables efficient and real-time production management, thereby maintaining the quality and sustainability of harvests, as well as increasing the attractiveness of Arjuna Farm as an educational tourist attraction based on modern technology.

Abstract

Research aims to look at the implementation of the bioflog system at the Al Kautsar 561 Islamic Boarding School as an effort to support sustainable agriculture. Using a qualitative approach with descriptive design, this research analyzes the implementation process, benefits and obstacles faced. The research results show that the bioflog system has succeeded in increasing the productivity of tilapia cultivation significantly. Apart from that, this system is also able to reduce the use of chemical fertilizers and improve water quality. Factors that support success include full support from Islamic boarding school administrators and active involvement of students. However, this research also identified several obstacles such as limited resources and weather fluctuations. This research concludes that the bioflog system has great potential to become a model of sustainable agriculture in Islamic boarding school environments. It is hoped that the results of this research can become a reference for other Islamic boarding schools in implementing similar systems and encourage the development of policies that support sustainable agriculture.

Abstract

Kebijakan perencanaan Pembangunan di Kabupaten Tasikmalaya diarahkan untuk mengakselerasi pencapaian Visi Pembangunan daerah. Guna mencapai Visi tersebut membutuhkan dana besar yang salah satunya berasal dari Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD). Kabupaten Tasikmalaya saat ini memiliki 6 BUMD yang kinerjanya masih harus ditingkatkan. Guna menghimpun dana pembangunan lainnya direncanakan melalui pembentukan Badan Usaha Milik Daerah (BUMD) Perkebunan. Pendirian BUMD didasarkan pada kebutuhan Daerah dan kelayakan bidang usaha BUMD yang akan dibentuk. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian dan analisis ini adalah untuk mengetahui kebutuhan daerah dalam rangka Pendirian BUMD Perkebunan di Kabupaten Tasikmalaya.Metode yang digunakan adalah survey dan mengembangkan deskriptif kualitatif. Berlokasi di wilayah Kabupaten Tasikmalaya pada 15 Agustus 2023 sampai 30 Oktober 2023. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa dengan melihat berbagai potensi besar yang dimiliki Kabupaten Tasikmalaya maka sudah selayaknya BUMD Perkebunan didirikan di Kabupaten Tasikmalaya dengan melihat variabel-variabel : a. Persepsi responden tentang pendirian BUMD Perkebunan, b.Analisis Potensi Ekonomi, c. Analisis Potensi Pasar dan Pemasaran serta Potensi Tenaga Kerja.
