Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tanggapan guru terhadap penggunaan modul bagiguru SD untuk mengembangkan skillnya dalam menggunakan bahasa Inggris di dalampengajaran, khususnya bahasa-bahasa yang bersifat instruktif dan rutin (bahasakelas). Metodepenelitian adalah Penelitian dan Pengembangan yang berdasar pada kerangka kerja;Pemvalidasian modul, Ujicoba yang di dalamnya termasuk pemberian pelatihan skill ECL sertapembimbingan penerapannya ke dalam kelas. Sampel peserta pelatihan (n=14 guru kelas)yaitu 4SD di kota Banda Aceh dan 4 sampel untuk disupervisi penerapan skill ECL. Pelatihandilaksanakan selama 3 hari. Pemvalidasian modul dilakukan oleh seorang Ahli Isi PembelajaranBahasa Inggris kepada penutur non-English. Instrumen penelitian adalah angket dan interview.Hasil angket menunjukkan bahwa: guru memiliki pengetahuan dasar dan pemahaman tentangpentingnya berinteraksi di kelas, pentingnya peran guru dalam memberikan contoh-contohbahasainggris, dan peran serta posisi bahasa Ibu dan bahasa Inggris di kelas; guru belummemahami tentang mengaplikasikan skill berbahasa yang efektif di kelas; guru mengaplikasikanbahasa kelas (ECL) yang belum efektif.Keyword: Modul ECL, Guru Sekolah Dasar, Komunikasi Bahasa Inggris.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar genetika melalui pengajaranlangsung pada mahasiswa biologi FKIP UNRI. Sampel penelitian yaitu mahasiswa semester 4 (empat)yang berjumlah 40 orang. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Instrumen penelitian berupaperangkat pembelajaran dan alat pengumpul data ( lembar test dan lembar observasi mahasiswa). Hasilpenelitian menunjukkan bahwa daya serap mahasiswa pada siklus 1 adalah 74,00 (baik), sedangkanpada siklus 2 adalah 84,38 (baik sekali). Untuk ketuntasan belajar secara klasikal adalah tidak tuntas(75,00%) pada siklus 1 dan siklus 2, tuntas (100,00%). Sedangkan aktivitas mahasiswa pada siklus 1adalah 54,66% (kurang) dan siklus 2 yaitu 62,00% (cukup). Dengan demikian penerapan modelpengajaran langsung dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar genetika pada mahasiswa biologi.

Abstract

Abstract : It has conducted study that aimed to determine students 'perception toward Iqro Learning model implementation in biology subject because students’ condition still did not show a good perception towards learning biology and teachers have never implement a model that integrates biological material with a religious boarding school. This study was conducted in MA Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru from April to May 2015 on ecosystem subject. This research was descriptive. The population of this research was all students of class X MA Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru, and the samples were students of class X2 Pekanbaru MA Darul Hikmah School Year 2014/2015 which consisted of 30 female students. Parameter that used was students’ perception with five indicators, namely attention, expectations, needs, system values, and personality type. Instruments that used was enclosed questionnaire. Data were analyzed by using a calculation based on a graduated scale. The results showed that students’ perceptions of class X2 Pekanbaru MA Darul Hikmah School Year 2014/2015 against Iqro learning model' on the subjects of Biology at attention indicators categorized good with a mean of 4.4, the expectations indicator categorized good with a mean of 4.28, the indicator needs categorized excellent with a mean of 4.85, on value system of indicators categorized excellent with a mean of 5.11 and the personality type indicator categorized very well with the average of 5.44. From the results of this study concluded that students’ perception of Class X2 MA Darul Hikmah pekanbaru t toward Iqro Learning model implementation in biology subject Academic Year 2014/2015 in excellent category once since the acquisition of the overall mean score was 4.82. Abstract

Abstract: The research is aimed at 1) finding out the male and female students' personal problems; 2) finding out the male and female students' emotional problems; 3) finding out the male and female students’ learning problems; 4) finding out the male and female students' familial problems; 5) finding out the male and female students' social problems; 6) finding out the overall problems faced by male and female students; 7) finding out the most dominant category of students' problems in general. The subjects of the research are 200 11th and 12th grade students of Kuok State Islamic Senior High School. The sampling technique is the total one, therefore the entire population were taken as samples. There are no greater written subjects or groups because entire individuals in a group are involved directly, hereafter this kind of sampling technique is called total sampling (Ibnu Jahar, 1999). The research results showed that: 1) more female students experienced personal problems than male students. While, the personal problems experienced by male students were emotional ones; 2) more male students experienced emotional problems than female students, in other words female students experienced less emotional problems; 3) more male students experienced learning problems than female students, in other words female students experienced less learning problems; 4) more male students experienced social problems than female students in other words female students experienced less social problems; 5) more male students experienced familial problems than female students in other words female students experienced less familial problems; 6) in general, male and female students experienced more personal and social problems. The personal problems experienced by male and female students caused their difficult learning concentration; 7) the problems experienced by students were generally categorized moderate.Keywords: Students’ problems

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to develop students worksheet oriented guided inquiry learning model to improve students critical thinking skills on the material circulation system in senior high school class XI. Research conducted at the Campus Biology Education and MAN 1 Pekanbaru from January to June 2015. The research used in this study refers to the development of R & D research approach using ADDIE model. Subjects were Basic Competency (KD) 3.6 biological material. The research begins with an analysis of the curriculum, syllabus and students worksheets compiled by MGMP. Then the students worksheet designed in accordance with the guided inquiry learning model and developed students worksheet with the model that aims to improve students critical thinking skills. Students worksheet draft I, which has been produced subsequently validated by 5 people validator, they are two education experts, two experts of the material and 1 teacher MA. Aspects assessed validation consisted of 3 aspects namely, the design aspect, pedagogical aspect and content aspect. After validated, than this students worksheet repaired appropriate the advice and input of the validator and the resulting draft worksheets II. Further trials conducted limited by spreading the questionnaire responses of the students MAN 1 Pekanbaru on 26 students of class XI IPA. Determination of class research determined randomly. Then do the revisions back to the students worksheet appropriate the advice and input of test results is limited resulting in critical thinking students worksheet final. The Reseacrh data result were analyzed by descriptive statistics. The results showed that the development of students worksheet oriented guided inquiry learning model to improve students critical thinking skills on the material at senior high school class XI in circulation system has been successfully developed by the category of very valid and very good. Student worksheet that has been developed has the potential to improve critical thinking skills. The mean results of the validation of 7 worksheets that have been developed successively ie 3:59, 3.63, 3.66, 3.66, 3.61, 3.73 and 3.78. Whereas the average of the results of limited testing of 7 worksheets that have been developed in succession, namely 3.72, 3.81, 3.74, 3.75, 3.73, 3.80 and 3.82. Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to know the effectiveness of lime juice (Citrus aurantifolia) as a substitute for vinegar and flavor concentrates on the quality of nata de soya and develop learning modules nata de soya by administering lime juice (Citrus aurantifolia) on the matter of biotechnology high school class XII. This study consisted of two phases: the first making of Nata de Soya using the experimental method completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments and 3 replications. Parameters measured were thickness, fiber content, acidity (pH) and organoleptic test. The results obtained were analyzed by ANOVA and a further test DMRT at 5% level. The second phase is the phase of development of this learning module consists of three stages, namely Analysis, Design and Development. The results show that lime water provides significant effect on the thickness, fiber content, acidity (pH) and organoleptic test. The best treatment is the treatment concentration of lime juice 2% which resulted in the thickness of 0,93cm, crude fiber content of 1.98%, acidity (pH) of 4.42 and organoleptic texture, color, and the best level of preference. The results of the research development Learning Module on the subjects of biology biotechnology materials high school class XII is very valid.

Abstract: Sweet fruits Kuok is a name which is pinned by community of citrus 9lemon) that was developed in Kampar ,Riau . A study to determine the effect of 2,4-D and TDZ(thidiazhuron) on the growth of fruit Kuok explanations (citur nobilis Lour) as learning module was designed by high school which is conducted in May and June 2016 in labolatory of agriculture UIR. This study used an experimental method with a completely andom design (CRD) with two factors, the first factor (D) is 2,4-D and the second (T) is TDZ consisting of 25 treatments, each treatment was repeated three time until three are 75 experimental units . These results indicate the effect of 2,4-D and TDZ significantlyaffect the growth of jeruk Kuok explanation.The percentage of time that the fastest growing explanations D4T2 100%,D4T2 treatment plant height 3.0 cm, number of leaves D4T2 5.3 bh treatment,the number of root treatment D4T2 7.0 bh. Abstract

Abstract:The aim of this study was to determine the ability of the Student Profile Study Program FKIP Riau University Biology Education in Developing Learning Tool on Course PPL II 2013/2014. Research conducted at the University Campus Biology Education FKIP Riau in February 2015 to April 2015. This research is descriptive population in this research is the students of Biology Education FKIP Riau University. While the sample in this study are students who take courses Second Field Experience Program (PPL II) Academic Year 2013/2014 which amounted to 43 people. The research data derived from primary data obtained directly through the instrument in the form of sheets of assessment of learning tools and secondary data obtained from the document recapitulation of the value of the course PPL II Academic Year 2013/2014. Based on the research ability of students PPL II in preparing the study on subjects PPL II Academic Year 2013/2014 can be seen that the RPP showed excellent category criteria with the percentage of 95.17%, LKS demonstrate sufficient criteria categories by percentage of 62.33%, the Draft Evaluation criteria showed excellent category with the percentage of 87.78%, so that the students' ability to construct a learning tool in the course PPL II Academic Year 2013/2014 classified as excellent with the percentage of 81.7%.Key words: profiles , capabilities , biology departement students of the faculty of teacher’s training and education prepare learning device , subjects PPL I

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research was to determine the effectiveness of added chitosan on preservation of salted common snakehead (Ophiocephalus striatus) as student worksheet design on science learning in Junior High School. This research was conducted on March until May 2016. The research used using completely randomized design (CRD) non factorial, which consists of 4 treatments and 3 replicates. The parameters observed were water content, protein content, fat content, and hedonic quality test: appearance, aroma, flavor and texture. The result showed that added chitosan was significant effect on water content, protein content and fat content of salted common snakehead. The best treatment was chitosan concentration of 2% where decrease the water content 16.496%, 1.850% fat content and also increase the protein content 43.105%. While on the hedonic duality test showed the appearance of salted common snakehead most preferred panelist in the treatment is 1%, the aroma and flavor is 2%, also the texture is 3%. The result of this research was used as student worksheet design on science learning in Junior High School.Key words: Chitosan, Salted Common Snakehead, Student Worksheet Design

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research was to determine the sudy of fermentation’s length of black sticky tape alcohol content in March to May 2015, for development of Student Worksheet of biology at the concept of conventional biotechnology class XII in Senior High School. The research was conducted with 2 phases of field research and the development of learning worksheets. Experimental research was conducted by using non factorial completely randomized design consisting of 5 treatments and 3 replicates in order to obtain 15 experimental design. If there isa real test of it will proceed further test DMRT. The observed parameters include alcohol content, temperature, pH and organoleptic texture, smell, color and flavor. The result showed that the fermentation timesignificantly influence the alcohol content of black sticky tape. 120 hours fermentation time was the best fermentation time, which can reach the highest alcohol content with an average of 0,23%. The temperature generated of the black sticky tape ranges between 30,5oC-33,6 oC. pH generated of the black sticky tape ranges between 4,64-3,54. Whereas for organoleptic texture, smell, color and flavor of black sticky tape panelists preferred is the treatment of fermentation 72 hours.
