Abstract

The independence of children in maintaining dental health, of course, requires knowledge and experience that they get directly through the five senses in their daily activities. This study aims to improve maintenance of dental health in children aged 5-6 years. This study uses a development model with R&D method with the research subjects being students. The types and sources of research data are primary data and quantitative descriptive questionnaires. The research results were validated by validators, namely media experts and material experts. The result of research on the development of smart dental box media can be categorized as “very feasible” with an overall percentage of material experts 91%, media experts 90%, professional educator 92% and product trial results 95%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that smart dental box media is effective and feasible to help maintain dental health for children aged 5-6 years at As-Shofa Kinderganten, Tembilahan Hulu Disctrict.

Abstract

Treasure hunting games affect the gross motor skills of children aged 5-6 years.This study aims to determine the effect of treasure hunting games on gross motor skills of children aged 5-6 years at Bunda Karya Kindergarten, Bengkalis Regency. The type of research used is experimental research with quantitative methods. The sample used was 25 people. The research used in this research is experimental research that influences the independent variables on the dependent variable. The research method used was pre-experiment with the Pretest-Posttest Only Control Group Design. The sampling technique used in this research is saturated sample. Data collection techniques used through objective tests. This research hypothesis is that there is an influence of treasure hunting games on gross motor skills of children aged 5-6 years at Bunda Karya Kindergarten, Bengkalis Regency. The effect given by treasure hunting games on the gross motor skills of children aged 5-6 years at Bunda Karya Kindergarten, Bengkalis Regency is 66.32%.

Abstract

Permainan foosball berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan motorik halus anak usia 5-6 tahun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Permainan Foosball Terhadap Kemampuan Motorik Halus Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun Di TK IT Insan Teladan Pekanbaru. Jenis  penelitian  yang  digunakan  adalah  penelitian  eksperimen dengan metode kuantitatif. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 12 orang. Penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah penelitian eksperimen yang mempengaruhi variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pre-eksperimen dengan rancangan desain Prettest-Posttest Only Control Group Design. Adapun teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu sampel jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi. Penelitian ini hipotesis yang diajukan adalah terdapat pengaruh permainan foosball terhadap kemampuan motorik halus anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK TK IT Insan Teladan Pekanbaru. Pengaruh yang diberikan dengan permainan foosball  terhadap kemampuan motorik halus anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK TK IT Insan Teladan Pekanbaru adalah sebesar 67,76%

Abstract

This study aims to develop Malay Rentak Gymnastics to improve gross motor skills of children aged 5-6 years. The type of research used is research and development (Research and Development). The steps taken are potential and problems, data/information collection, design, design validation, design revision, and product trials. Data collection techniques with observation, distributing questionnaires, and documentation. The instrument used was a questionnaire to validate Malay Rentak Gymnastics from media experts, material experts, gymnastics experts and educators. The data analysis technique used is a quantitative descriptive analysis technique. In the study, it was obtained that the validation of media experts was 90.44% "very feasible", the validation of material experts was 91.30% "very feasible", the validation of gymnastics experts was 90.00%, and teacher validation results obtained a percentage of 90.59% "very feasible". The results of the pretest assessment obtained a percentage result of 40.00% and the results of the posttest assessment showed an increase in obtaining a percentage result of 77.50%. From the results of the study it was concluded that Rentak Melayu Gymnastics is suitable for use as a gymnastic activity in improving gross motor skills of children aged 5-6 years in Barunawati II Kindergarten, Dumai City.

Abstract

Emotional intelligence is a child’s ability to recognize, process, and control emotions so that children are able to respond positivelyto any condition that stimulates the emergence of emotions such as self-awareness, silf-regulation, motivation, recognizing other people’s emotions or empathy, and social skills. The purpose of this study was to determine emotiona intelligence in children aged 5-6 years at Al-Jami’atul Washliyah kindergarden Sungai Majo, Kubu Babussalam Dictrict, Rokan Hilir Regency. The type of research used is quantitativ descriptiv recearch. The data analysis technique used in this study is using statistical data. The results showed that emotiona intelligence in children aged 5-6 years at Al-Jami’atul Washliyah kindergarden Sungai Majo, Kubu Babussalam Dictrict, Rokan Hilir Regency was included in the good category, with a parcentage of 76,88%. This means that self-awareness, silf-regulation, motivation, recognizing other people’s emotions or empathy, and social skills in children are well developed.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how to analyze the ethnoparenting of the Sakai tribe in the digital era by parents to instill local wisdom values ​​of the Sakai culture in Bekalar Village, Kandis District, Siak Regency. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects of this study were 5 parents. The sampling technique used in this study is snowball sampling. Data collection techniques used are through observation, interviews, documentation and triangulation. The results showed that parents applied 5 aspects of parenting based on the book of local wisdom values ​​of Sakai Riau culture, including 1) Human relations with God 2) Human relations with nature 3) Human relations with time 4) Relations with fellow human beings 5) Relationships man with work. Of these 5 aspects, parents have applied them well to their children and 1 other aspect has been implemented quite well. Parents instill the values ​​of the local wisdom of the Sakai culture in their children by advising, giving examples and positive habits. Keywords: Ethnoparenting, Sakai Tribe, Parents

Abstract

This paper discusses the activities that are related to parenting, which is interrelated with a culture in order to be described through the point of view based on the indigenous people. The research uses a qualitative approach with ethnographic methods. Data were collected through an interview process and subsequently were analyzed by using the Nvivo 12.2 Software coding technique. The Malay ethnoparenting based on Tunjuk Ajar Melayu through the "Twenty-Five Principles" of parents in Bukit Payung village indicates a significant influence on children in socializing with people around them and the environment where they live. Parenting that was applied by people of different ethnicities has differences between families. Nevertheless, similarities that were found in the research were the values contained within and became the main values in the parenting process. The research result reveals that Riau Malay ethnoparenting, which was applied in the transmigration area of Bukit Payung village, specifically prioritized religious values as one of the main foundations, tolerance for differences, humility towards others, integrity and courage, and providing space for the social environment in forming a cultural identity for children.

Abstract

The ability to recognize geometric shapes in TK Negeri Pembina 3 Pekanbaru is still not as expected, therefore a treatment is needed to improve children's ability to recognize geometric shapes using gamification-based e-books. The purpose of this study was to determine and prove the effect of gamification-based e-books on the ability to recognize geometric shapes in children aged 5-6 years at TK Negeri Pembina 3 Pekanbaru. The type of research used is a quantitative experiment with a one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were children in class B4 of TK Negeri Pembina 3 Pekanbaru aged 5-6 years totaling 20 people. The sample of this study was 20 people. The sampling technique used in this study was saturated sampling. The data collection technique used by researchers is primary data through observation sheets. Data analysis using t-test. The results showed that there was an increase in the ability to recognize geometric shapes seen from the average acquisition score before and after treatment. The results of data analysis obtained t count 27.264 greater than t table 2.093 from this study can be concluded that gamification-based e-books affect the ability to recognize geometric shapes in children aged 5-6 years at State Kindergarten Pembina 3 Pekanbaru.
