Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of understanding the science of recitation for every Muslim. This is because the law of reading the Qur'an by paying attention to and obeying the science of recitation is fardhu ain. Exploration of the science of recitation in Al-Kahf's letter into mathematics needs to be done so that students can learn mathematics as well as learn tajwid. This exploration can be presented in statistics for junior high school students where at this age Muslim students must be able to read the Koran with tartil according to the provisions of tajwid. This study aims to explore the science of tajwid (the law of Nun Sukun and Tanwin) in the Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Kahf which will be presented through data presentation techniques with one branch of mathematics, namely statistics. The type of research used in this research is literary research (library). In this study, the approach used is a qualitative approach, namely research conducted by examining existing data sources. The data used include data related to and related to the research theme being studied. Relevant data is collected through literature study or analysis. Methodologically this research belongs to the category of exploratory research, meaning that it explores the science of recitation in Surat Al-Kahf. The result of this research is the presentation of statistical data from the exploration of tajwid, especially on the law of nun mati and tanwin. The results of this study are expected to be a reference for further research to develop teaching materials and learning media for mathematics by integrating the science of recitation in statistical material.

Abstract

The background of this research is that there are still many UMPRI students, especially students in the FKIP mathematics education study program who cannot read the Al-Qur’an properly. In reading the Qur'an there are many factors that influence it, one of which is student interest. The purpose of this study was to find out whether students who learn to read the Al-Qur’an using the Asy-Syafi'i method have better reading skills than students who do not use the Asy-Syafi'i method in terms of student interest. This research is a quasi-experimental study with a 2x3 factorial design. The population in this study were all students of the Mathematics Education Study Program, FKIP UMPRI, for the 2022-2023 academic year. The research sample was obtained by means of cluster random sampling. Data analysis techniques use non-parametric statistics because the population is not normally distributed. The results showed that the ability of students to read the Al-Qur’an using the Asy-Syafii method was better than the ability of students to read the Koran who did not use the Asy-Syafii method. However, there is no difference in the ability to read the Al-Qur’an between students who have high, medium or low interest in reading the Al-Qur’an or are equally good.

Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kebutuhan siswa terhadap media pembelajaran aplikasi Blantik (Batik Lampung Matematika) berbasis android. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu dengan  wawancara secara langsung bersama guru kelas serta penyebaran kuesioner yang terdiri dari 6 pertanyaan kepada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Bumi Rejo Kabupaten Pringsewu Lampung. Selanjutnya diperoleh hasil penelitian yaitu: 1) Kurikulum yang digunakan merupakan kurikulum K13 yang mendukung pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran; 2) Pembelajaran yang dilakukan guru sering dikaitkan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari sehingga memungkinkan untuk mengaitkan budaya dalam pembelajaran; 3) Kurangnya pengetahuan siswa terhadap budaya daerahnya mengasumsikan perlunya guru mengintegrasikan etnomatematika pada pembelajaran; 4) Kepemilikan android oleh siswa mengasumsikan untuk pemanfaatannya dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran; 5) Kecenderungan siswa untuk berlajar sambil bermain game mengasumsikan untuk membuat media pembelajaran berupa game edukasi.

Abstract

Mutu organisasi sekolah dilihat dari pencapaian kinerja yang mengacu pada kriteria standar tertentu dalam kurun waktu tertentu. Kinerja sekolah tingkat eksternal dilihat dari perolehan peringkat akreditasi. Peringkat akreditasi di SMA dan SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Pringsewu masih berada pada level B. Sekolah memerlukan strategi untuk mencapai akreditasi A. Tujuan PKM ini adalah memberikan pendampingan pemetaan kinerja sekolah berdasarkan IASP 2020 di SMA dan SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Pringsewu. Metode pelaksanaan PKM yaitu tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Tahap peren­canaan yaitu menentukan rencana kegiatan agar lebih terstruktur. tahap pelaksanaan yaitu memberikan pelatihan kepada Kepala Sekolah dan Guru SMA dan SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Pringsewu pada IASP 2020, dan memberikan pendampingan dalam pemetaan kinerja sekolah. Evaluasi bertujuan untuk mengukur keberhasilan pelaksanaan PKM dengan menggunakan angket dan refleksi yang diisi oleh kepala sekolah dan guru. Hasil kegiatan PKM ini adalah SMA dan SMK memahami IASP 2020 melalui kegiatan pendampingan serta mengetahui peringkat akreditasi sekolahnya yaitu peringkat akreditasi untuk SMA Muhammadiyah Pringsewu yaitu C dan SMK Muhammadiyah Pringsewu yaitu unggul (A).

Abstract

Media pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru SD N 2 Pringsewu dalam proses pembelajaran kurang mengintegrasikan nilai karakter. Selain itu juga kurang memanfaatkan kemajuan teknologi. Untuk itu tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk mengenalkan dan mendampingi Guru-guru SD N 2 Pringsewu dalam membuat media pembelajaran berbasis karakter yang mendukung implementasi kurikulum merdeka. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dengan tiga tahapan yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap evaluasi. Survey lokasi, mendata peserta pelaksaan workshop dan mempersiapkan panduan tutorial membuat media pembelajaran berbasis karakter dilakukan pada tahap persiapan. Selanjutnya tahap pelaksanaan meliputi memberikan informasi dalam bentuk penyuluhan, memberikan pelatihan/workshop dan memberikan pendampingan kepada guru untuk mempraktekan secara langsung dalam membuat game edukasi. Tahap evaluasi yaitu mengamati guru pada saat mempraktekan media pembelajaran lalu menganalisis hasil pengamatan dan menarik kesimpulan. Adapun hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah (1) pengetahuan mitra dalam melakukan integrasi nilai karakter kedalam media pembelajaran meningkat; (2) pengetahua dan  keterampilan guru-guru di SD N 2 Pringsewu dalam membuat media pembelajaran yang berbasis karakter dan memanfaatkan kemajuan teknologi juga meningkat

Abstract

The obligation to read the Qur'an in accordance with the rules of the Tajwid science makes the knowledge of Tajwid very important to be studied by every Muslim, not except by the students who are Muslims. On the other hand, learning Tajwid science for students at school can be integrated with other subjects, including mathematics. Therefore, this study aims to demonstrate the effectiveness of the e-statistical module integrated in the science of tajwid in the Al-Kahfi letter reviewed from the interest of reading the Quran of Muhammadiyah high school students of Pringsewu district. The type of research used is a quasi-experiment with a 2x3 factorial design. The population in this study is the entire high school student Muhammadiyah of the Pringsewu district with the technique of sampling using random sample clusters. Research data is collected through the lifting and testing methods, while data analysis techniques use two-way analysis. The results of this study show that the use of e-statistical modules integrated tajwid science in Al-Kahfi letters is effectively used in learning both for students who have an interest in reading Al-Qur'an high, medium, or low.Highlights: Integrated Learning: Combining Tajwid with statistics enhances both religious and mathematical education. Effective E-Module: The digital module significantly improves students' learning outcomes in statistics. Abstract

In accordance with the main problem, namely a decline in assessment results on literacy, numeracy and character indicators of SD Muhammadiyah Waringinsari from 2022 to 2023. So it is necessary to carry out PKM activities with the aim of improving the ability of teachers in partner schools in creating digital media in the form of digital comics in an effort to improve literacy and numeracy as well as in an effort to instill character through the storyline in digital comics. SD Muhammadiyah Waringinsari already has technological support from both the government and the Muhammadiyah Association. Teachers also have personal technological facilities such as laptops and cellphones that are used in digital learning. Some of the points produced and achieved in this PKM include; teachers can produce digital comics well, and the level of understanding of partners at the beginning and end of the activity regarding the material presented during the workshop was measured using a pretest and posttest, the results increased. The next activity is in the form of mentoring and scaffolding in the creation of digital mathematics comic media for teachers of grades 3, 4, 5, and 6. Through this activity, it is hoped that teachers will be able to design digital mathematics comic media for use in learning activities so that students' literacy and numeracy increase and can instill character through the storyline in the digital comic.

Abstract

The integration of cultural heritage into mathematics learning remains underexplored, particularly in the context of Indonesian traditional arts. Existing mathematics curricula often overlook the potential of local cultural artifacts to contextualize abstract mathematical concepts. This study addresses this gap by investigating the mathematical structures embedded within Batik Lampung motifs, highlighting their novelty in representing numerical patterns through culturally significant designs. The primary aim of this research is to explore and analyze mathematical pattern concepts—specifically odd and even arithmetic sequences, square numbers, rectangular numbers, and constant sequences—within the Siger, Gajah, Pucuk Rebung, Sembagi, and Kapal motifs of Batik Lampung, while also uncovering their underlying philosophical meanings. Employing a qualitative ethnographic approach, the study collected data through visual documentation, direct observation, semi-structured interviews, and literature review. The findings reveal the presence of arithmetic sequences, square and rectangular number patterns, and constant sequences, each reflecting cultural values such as sustainable growth, balance, perfection, and continuity. These results underscore the potential of Batik Lampung as a meaningful and contextual medium for mathematics instruction. This study contributes to the development of culturally responsive teaching strategies aimed at enhancing students' mathematical understanding and motivation through the incorporation of local cultural heritage.

Abstract

Kampus Mengajar 2 merupakan program dari Kementrian Pendidikan Kebudayaan Riset dan Teknologi yang memberikan kesempatan kepada Dosen dan mahasiswa seluruh Indonesia untuk menyukseskan implementasi program AKSI untuk sekolah. Program AKSI ini berupa modul formatif asesmen yang dapat digunakan untuk mengetahui kemampuan siswa pada topik-topik esensial di pelajaran bahasa, matematika, dan IPA untuk Siswa SD. Metode pelakasanaan kegiatan PKM ini terbagi menjadi tiga tahap, yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan tahap evaluasi. Selama kegiatan Pengabidan Kepada Masyarakat, peserta didik yang sudah dapat menggunakan perangkat komputer dengan mudah memahami dan melakukan kegiatan ini, sedangkan untuk peserta didik yang baru pertama kali menggunakan komputer masih terlihat bingung dan gugup ketika menggunakan mouse dan keyboard. Peserta didik sangat antusias dan mengikuti kegiatan ini dengan baik, peserta didik juga bersemangat dan kondusit pada saat kegiatan. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa kegaitan PKM yang dibantu oleh program Mahasiswa yang mengikuti Kampus Mengajar ini telah memberikan pengalaman langsung kepada mahasiswa untuk terlibat langsung dalam proses pembelajaran sesungguhnya di sekolah

Abstract

Traditional textiles, such as Javanese Batik in Indonesia, are not only cultural artifacts but also repositories of mathematical knowledge. While previous studies have explored the geometric transformations embedded in Batik motives, little attention has been paid to their numerical patterns and educational potential beyond geometry. Addressing this gap, the present study investigates the mathematical structures—particularly numerical patterns—and ethical values inherent in Javanese Batik motives. The novelty of this research lies in uncovering the integration of cultural heritage and mathematics through ethnomathematical analysis, which remains underexplored in existing literature. Utilizing an ethnographic approach, including literature review, documentation, and field observations, the study identifies recurring numerical patterns and embedded cultural philosophies within Batik designs. These findings reveal that Javanese Batik offers meaningful contexts not only for teaching mathematical concepts but also for fostering character education through values such as discipline, patience, and harmony. The results suggest that these motives can be transformed into culturally responsive teaching materials, particularly e-modules for learning numerical patterns. This study contributes to the broader field of mathematics education by demonstrating how local cultural artifacts can support cognitive and affective learning goals, thus offering a novel pathway for integrating mathematics with cultural and moral education.
