Abstract

Abstract: This research is aimed at describing the creative thinking process of students with rational personality type, idealist personality type, guardian personality type, and  artisan personality type in solving mathematics problems. It was a descriptive qualitative research. The subject of this research was taken by using a purposive sampling. The subject of this research were 4 of the eighth grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Jenar, Sragen Regency, consisting of 1 student with rational personality type, 1 student with idealist personality type, 1 student with guardian personality type, and 1 student with artisan personality type. The techniques of collecting the data in this research were questionnaire, written test, and interview on plane geometri subject. The techniques of validating the data were time triangulation and sufficient references. The technique of analyzing the data was Miles and Huberman concept, namely, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings of the research show that (1) the student with rational personality type has creative thinking process level 1 (less creative); (2) the student with idealist personality type has creative thinking process level 3 (creative); (3) the student with guardian personality type has creative thinking process level 3 (creative); (4) the student with artisan personality type has creative thinking process level 0 (not creative). Abstract

Abstract The research aims to assess how high the level of education of students creative thinking in problem solving mathematical problems of Real Analysis 2 in terms of learning styles visual, auditory and tactual. This research is a quantitative descriptive. The samples of the research were taken by using the stratified random sampling technique. Data were analyzed based on three indicators to assess the ability of creative thinking of learners in fluency, flexibility and innovation. Results of the study describes how high the level of creative thinking to each students learning style in solving problems of Real Analysis 2. The conclusion shows that the visual learners "very creative (level 4)",auditory learners"creative enough (level 2)",and tactual learners "creative (level 3)" in solving problems in the Real Analysis 2 STKIP MuhammadiyahPringsewu Lampung  Keywords : Creative Thinking, Problem Solving, Learning Style

Abstract

This research aims to improve the average of the students achievement in math atSMP Tri Sukses Natar Lampung Selatan in the academic year 2014-2015 byapplying STAD cooperative learning model by using brain based learningapproach in square material. This research used experimental method. Thepopulation was all of the first grade students at SMP Tri Sukses Natar LampungSelatan in the academic year 2014-2015. The samples of the research were takenby using the cluster random sampling technique. Abstract

The implementation of Community Service activities was carried out through a seminar and training on writing scientific papers for students of MTs Rhaudlotul Munawwaroh Jatirejo Pringsewu. The results of this activity include: (1) can grow students' interest in writing, (2) students are able to write reports on tourism activities in accordance with EYD and scientific writing writing guidelines (3) students become trained to think scientifically, and (4) students able to be competitive in participating in the Youth Scientific Work competition in the local / national / international arena. Keywords: writing, scientific thinking, scientific writing

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik pada materi himpunan berdasarkan tahapan pemecahan masalah menurut Teori Polya. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP N 1 Sukoharjo dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 15 peserta didik kelas VII C. Data kemampuan pemecahan masalah diperoleh melalui tes dan wawancara. Data hasil penelitian selanjutnya dianalisis kemudian dibuat persentase berdasarkan tiap tahap pemecahan masalah Polya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 73,3% peserta didik dapat memahami masalah, 68,8% peserta didik dapat merencanakan penyelesaian, 40% peserta didik dapat melaksanakan rencana penyelesaian, dan 31,1% peserta didik dapat memeriksa kembali jawaban yang telah dikerjakan.

Abstract

Every student in higher education will learn about statistics. Statistics is knowledge about data collection, data classification, presentation, processing, drawing conclusions, and making decisions based on certain problems. Because statistics are related to sample data, it is necessary the ability to interpret, understand, and make good decisions on the data. Project-Based Learning is very suitable to be applied to solve complex problems in a creative, collaborative, and independent way like in this course. This research is to analyze the effectiveness of PjBL learning in improving the understanding of statistical concepts. The research subjects were seventy students who took statistics courses at the Mathematics Education Study Program, Bengkulu University in 2021. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research instrument was a test sheet for understanding the concept of statistics, including the ability to choose statistical analysis, the ability to process data, and the ability to interpret the results. The data were analyzed using the t-paired sample test and the N-Gain score. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of Project-Based Learning is quite effective in increasing students' understanding of concepts in statistics courses at Bengkulu University, especially in the mathematics education study program. Students' understanding of concepts after the PjBL model is applied is higher than before PjBL is applied.Setiap mahasiswa di perguruan tinggi pasti akan mempelajari tentang statistika. Statistika merupakan pengetahuan mengenai pengumpulan data, klasifikasi data, penyajian, pengolahan, penarikan kesimpulan, dan pengambilan keputusan berdasarkan masalah tertentu. Dikarenakan statistik berkaitan dengan data sampel maka diperlukan kemampuan pemahaman dalam menafsirkan, memahami serta membuat keputusan yang baik terhadap data tersebut. Model Project Based Learning sangat cocok diterapkan untuk memecahkan masalah kompleks dengan cara yang kreatif, kolaboratif, dan mandiri seperti pada mata kuliah ini. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis efektifitas model pembelajaran PjBL dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep statistika. Subjek penelitian yaitu tujuh puluh mahasiswa yang mengambil mata kuliah statistika di Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Bengkulu tahun 2021. Jenis penelitian adalah quasi eksperiment dengan menggunakan rancangan one group pretest-postest design. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar tes pemahaman konsep tentang statistika, meliputi kemampuan memilih analisis statistika, kemampuan pengolahan data dan kemampuan menginterpretasikan hasilnya. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji t-paired sample dan skor N-Gain. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning cukup efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep mahasiswa pada mata kuliah statistika di Universitas Bengkulu khususnya di program studi pendidikan matematika. Pemahaman konsep mahasiswa setelah diterapkan model PjBL lebih tinggi dibandingkan sebelum diterapkan PjBL.

Abstract

This study is intended to result in instruction that will help pupils improve their mathematics understanding skills. The similarity of strategies in both the scientific and reciprocal teaching approaches makes it difficult to choose which approach is better. This investigation aims to investigate and explain (1) Improving pupils' mathematical understanding through comparison of scientific approaches and Reciprocal Teaching based on PAM; (2) The impact of the interaction between learning approaches with pupils' PAM on enriching pupils' mathematics understanding ability. It is a quasi-experimental research project that uses two experimental classes. The results of this study are (1) Pupils who learn through the scientific approach and pupils who learn through reciprocal teaching strategies based on PAM pupils have different mathematical thinking abilities, with the average value of improvement in the scientific approach class being more significant than the reciprocal teaching approach class; (2) Learning and pupils' PAM have no interaction effect. It means that learning in both experimental classes applies to all pupils overall in improving pupils' mathematical understanding ability. Based on the results of this study, this study implies that teachers can employ learning using a scientific approach as one of the learning options for pupils to increase their mathematical understanding abilities.

Abstract

AbstrakKarakter matematika bersifat hirarkis yaitu adanya keterkaitan antar satu konsep dengan konsep lainnya, sehingga akan sangat fatal jika mengalami miskonsepsi seperti keliru membuat sebuah generalisasi pada materi Logika Matematika dalam mata kuliah Matematika Dasar, sehingga jika terjadi miskonsepsi terus-menerus dapat menimbulkan kegagalan pemahaman konsep pada mata kuliah selanjutnya seperti Kalkulus dan Matematika Diskrit. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi miskonsepsi pada peserta mata kuliah Matematika Dasar di Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Bengkulu pada tahun akademik 2021/2022 saat pembelajaran materi Logika Matematika. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pemberian tes diagnostik berbentuk essay, dan tingkat keyakinan dalam menjawab dengan menggunakan Certainty Response Index. Instrumen tes berupa tes diagnostik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar tes. Analisis data dilakukan terhadap uraian jawaban serta tingkat keyakinan dalam memberikan jawaban. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran Logika Matematika memberikan dampak miskonsepsi pada peserta mata kuliah Matematika Dasar berkisar 4 - 43% dengan identifikasi miskonsepsi tertinggi terjadi pada pokok bahasan tentang penyimpulan suatu pernyataan dan uji validitas argumen menggunakan hukum premis. Tingkat  miskonsepsi terendah terjadi pada uji argumen menggunakan tabel kebenaran. Rata-rata persentase tingkat miskonsepsi mahasiswa sebesar 21%. AbstractIt will be disastrous if there is a failure to comprehend the concepts or experience a misperception because mathematics has a hierarchical nature, so there is a relationship between one notion and another. One of the common errors making students in Mathematical Logic courses for Basic Mathematics is concluding or making erroneous generalizations. The University of Bengkulu's study program in mathematics education requires the completion of this course. Continuous misconceptions may make it difficult to understand the concept in later studies, including calculus and discrete mathematics.During the 2021–2022 academic year, participants in the Basic Mathematics course at Bengkulu University's Mathematics Education Study Program had misconceptions about the information they were learning about mathematical logic. A diagnostic test in the form of an essay is administered, and the Certainty Response Index is used to gauge the respondent's level of confidence. Test equipment in the form of a diagnostic test was the tool employed in this study. To collect data, test sheets that were distributed to students during the final semester exams were used. On the description of the answers and the degree of confidence in providing answers, data analysis was done. The findings indicated that learning mathematical logic had an impact on participants in the Basic Mathematics course in terms of misconceptions ranging from 4 to 43%, with the highest identification of misconceptions occurring on the topics of concluding a statement and determining the veracity of arguments using premise law. The argument test employing the truth table has the lowest level of misinterpretation. There were 21% average misconceptions among students.

Abstract

This study intends to determine the legal protection of copyright as licenses for broadcast copyrighted world cup works. Specifically, this study investigates the legal protection criteria for licenses registered with the Directorate General for Intellectual Property Rights. In addition, it attempts to examine instances of court decisions relating to copyright licensing issues. This study employs normative research and literature in accordance with a statutory methodology. As described in Article 83, paragraph 1, of the Copyright Law No. 28 of 2014, copyright certainty is established if the copyright has been registered with the Directorate General for Intellectual Property Rights. In order for the license agreement to have legal repercussions for third parties, it must be registered, but in practice it cannot be executed because there are no penalties for third parties that break the license. Similarly, in the instance of copyright infringement, the Judicial Review decision No. 43 PK/Pdt.Sus-HKI/2017 is one of them. FIFA recognized PT Inter Sports Marketing as the exclusive licensee for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, as the company had registered. Due to violations by a Semarang hotel, the verdict did not reflect the losses sustained. It seemed as though the registration had been in vain since it lacked sufficient legal clarity.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to provide an in-depth analysis of the electoral dispute resolution mechanisms in Indonesia and Hungary. Indonesia, the world's largest democracy, holds general elections every five years based on Law Number 7 of 2017, aiming to influence the public through non-coercive means such as rhetoric and public relations, despite the controversial use of agitation and propaganda. Various obstacles and disputes often arise, requiring effective resolution mechanisms involving multiple institutions like the Election Supervisory Board, the Supreme Court, the Honorary Council of Election Organizers, and the Constitutional Court. Hungary, a European Union member with a parliamentary system, employs a mixed electoral system combining proportional representation and single-member districts, with the National Election Committee managing complaints and objections, supported by the Election Court and the Constitutional Court. Using a normative approach with statutory, historical, and comparative legal methods, this study reveals that Indonesia's multi-tiered dispute resolution mechanism ensures comprehensive coverage but faces challenges in legal certainty and efficiency, while Hungary's centralized system offers a more efficient process but faces issues of transparency and accountability. The findings suggest that Indonesia could benefit from streamlining its approach, while Hungary might focus on enhancing the transparency of its system, providing valuable insights for refining electoral dispute resolution processes in both countries to ensure democratic integrity. Abstrak             Penulisan artikel ini bertujuan untuk memberikan analisis mendalam tentang mekanisme penyelesaian sengketa pemilu di Indonesia dan Hongaria. Indonesia, demokrasi terbesar di dunia, mengadakan pemilihan umum setiap lima tahun sekali berdasarkan Undang-Undang Nomor 7 Tahun 2017, yang bertujuan untuk mempengaruhi publik melalui cara-cara non-koersif seperti retorika dan hubungan masyarakat, meskipun penggunaan agitasi dan propaganda kontroversial. Berbagai hambatan dan sengketa sering muncul, yang memerlukan mekanisme penyelesaian yang efektif yang melibatkan berbagai institusi seperti Badan Pengawas Pemilu, Mahkamah Agung, Dewan Kehormatan Penyelenggara Pemilu, dan Mahkamah Konstitusi. Hongaria, anggota Uni Eropa dengan sistem parlementer, menggunakan sistem pemilu campuran yang menggabungkan perwakilan proporsional dan distrik anggota tunggal, dengan Komite Pemilihan Nasional mengelola keluhan dan keberatan, didukung oleh Pengadilan Pemilihan dan Mahkamah Konstitusi. Menggunakan pendekatan normatif dengan metode hukum statutori, historis, dan komparatif, studi ini mengungkapkan bahwa mekanisme penyelesaian sengketa bertingkat di Indonesia memastikan cakupan yang komprehensif tetapi menghadapi tantangan dalam kepastian hukum dan efisiensi, sementara sistem terpusat Hongaria menawarkan proses yang lebih efisien tetapi menghadapi masalah transparansi dan akuntabilitas. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa Indonesia dapat mengambil manfaat dari penyederhanaan pendekatannya, sementara Hongaria mungkin perlu fokus pada peningkatan transparansi sistemnya, memberikan wawasan berharga untuk menyempurnakan proses penyelesaian sengketa pemilu di kedua negara guna memastikan integritas demokratis.
