Abstract

One of the important aspects in the company is company performance. In company performance, there are aspects of financial performance that are important to measure in order to get a picture of the company’s financial condition. This study aims to examine the effect of firm size, growth opportunity, and asset structure on financial performance with capital structure as an intervening variable. This research is a quantitative research. The samples of this study are property and real estate companies listed on the IDX for the 2015-2019 period. The data collection method uses the documentation method from secondary data in the form of an annual report that has been published on the IDX. The data analysis method used is multiple regression method and single test. Firm size, growth opportunity, asset structure and capital structure have a 74. 51% influence on the performance of property and real estate companies. This study shows that firm size, asset structure and capital structure have a negative effect on firm performance, while growth opportunity has no effect on financial performance. The capital structure has not been able to mediate the effect of independent variables on financial performance.

Abstract

Decreasing number of small-scale retail competitiveness problems (non-organized) in Semarang City which exacerbating their marginalization in the competitive retail business, is a complex issue that must be addressed. The objectives of this research is to be achieved, namely to identify consumers’ purchasing behavior in a large-scale retail (organized) and small scale (non-organized). In order to achieve the goal, after all the data were collected through interviews and questionnaires, then it is conducted with descriptive qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis (Kruskal-Walli Test). The test results conducted on consumer attitudes regarding the ten attributes that are attached to a retail store that includes the name of the store, the popularity of the store, complete facilities such as shops, security stores, convenience stores, store cleanliness, product pricing, information from media advertising, information from family / friends, as well as quality service shop in four areas of Semarang City. Meanwhile, there are only two that have a uniform response from consumers, the popularity of the store and information from media ads created by the retail stores. These results can be interpreted that the popularity of the retail store and information from media advertising on retail stores in the mind of consumers to determine their behavior in the choice of retail stores where they shop.Keywords: Consumer behavior, Competitive Advantage, Retail

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional dan kepemimipinan transaksional pada perilaku kerja inovatif dengan motivasi intrinsik sebagai variabel mediasi pada dosen Universitas Negeri Semarang. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 120 responden dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan proportionate random sampling. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Metode analisis data menggunakan uji statistik deskriptif dengan alat analisis yaitu SmartPLS 3.0. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu kepemimpinan transformasional memiliki pengaruh signifikan pada perilaku kerja inovatif dan tidak signifikan pada motivasi intrinsik, sedangkan kepemimpinan transaksional tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan pada perilaku kerja inovatif namun signifikan pada motivasi intrinsik. Namun, ketika dimediasi oleh motivasi intrinsik, kepemimpinan transformasional tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan pada perilaku kerja inovatif sedangkan kepemimpinan transaksional berpengaruh signifikan pada perilaku kerja inovatif. Saran dari penelitian ini diharapkan responden dapat lebih antusias terhadap reward atau imbalan sekecil apapun yang diberikan oleh pimpinan unit kerja, agar dosen dapat bekerja dengan lebih inovatif yang akan membantu meningkatkan kinerja inovasi Universitas Negeri Semarang. Selain itu, pimpinan unit kerja Universitas Negeri Semarang diharapkan lebih tegas dalam menyikapi dosen yang memiliki kinerja rendah atau di bawah standar.

Abstract

This study purpose to the determine the influence of Current Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, Earning Per Share, and Return On Assets to the Dividend Policy (Dividend Payout Ratio) for companies included Daftar Efek Syariah period 2008-2010 simultaneously and partial. The population in this study all companies included Daftar Efek Syariah period 2008-2010 amount to 286 companies. The sample selection procedure used was a purposive sampling so that it produced 44 companies. Secondary data was collected by the documentation technique were obtained from the fundamental annual report 2011. The analysis technique used was multiple linear regression analysis using the tools of SPSS. The research found that four variables of kind of CR, DER, EPS and ROA simultaneously influence to DPR for companies included Daftar Efek Syariah period 2008-2010. The three variables of kind of CR, EPS, and ROA partially influence positive significant to DPR, while variable DER influence negative but insignificant to DPR for companies included Daftar Efek Syariah period 2008-2010.

Abstract

Theoritically, a company based on the principles of Islamic law (profit and loss sharing/PLS) is believed to be able to minimize agency problems and agency cost than the conventional companies,either in the aspect of the business philosophy, contract design, and control. However, the implementation of PLS is still facing a lot of obstacles, Hence, it is not surprising that models of PLS is not predominantly used by Islamic financial institutions, both in Indonesia and abroad. The cclassic argument on  why the model is not dominant because it is considered more risky. In order to contribute to the agency problems in the Islamic perspective, this paper, firstly, will explain and explore the arguments which show advantages of Islamic concept on company in reducing agency problems and agency cost. Secondly, this paper will reveal the obstacles and problems faced in the implementation of such concept. Thirdly, this paper will offer an alternative solution framework to address various issues and constraints faced by them. Solutions offered here includes understanding aspects of the Islamic business draft, micro and macro benefits, human resources, regulatory and performance measurement indicators of  Islamic financial institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the work environment, culture, and motivation on the work performance of Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) academic staff. This study used work culture (X1), work environment (X2), and work motivation (X3) as independent variables; and their correlation to the academic staff’s work performance as dependent variables (Y). A total of 138 respondents were involved and chosen using a random sampling technique from 691 academic staff working as lecturers and educational supporting staff. The data was collected using self-assessment questionnaires, and then collected data were tabulated, reduced to avoid bias, and labeled for independent analysis. The analysis process was run using descriptive and quantitative approaches. The results showed that work culture significantly affects academic staff’s working performance. Because positive work culture influences the work environment that triggers high performance; however, this study found that motivation has no significance toward work performance. This research found that work achievement and their perspective against reward or additional income (remuneration) mostly influence motivation. Further study needs more variables, including work satisfaction, leadership, personal background, and other variables that may contribute to working performance, are recommended for the next study

Abstract

Dalam proses belajar mengajar, model pembelajaran merupakan salah satu aspek yang sangat penting dalam mentrasfer pengetahuan dari guru kepada siswa. Setidaknya terdapat 6 (enam) karakteristik yang dimiliki oleh pembelajaran kooperatif. Keenam karakteristik Pertama, Tujuan Kelompok, yaitu: jenis-jenis penghargaan yang diberikan kepada setiap kelompok berdasarkan kriteria yang telah ditentukan. Kedua, Tanggung Jawab Individual, yaitu: setiap anggota kelompok memiliki tanggung jawab yang sama dalam menyelesaikan tugas  yang diberikan. Ketiga, Kesempatan Sukses Bersama, yaitu: kesamaan hak yang dimiliki oleh setiap anggota kelompok terhadap penghargaan yang diperoleh kelompok. Keempat, Kompetisi Tim, yaitu: kegiatan-kegiatan yang dikerjakan oleh setiap kelompok untuk menyelesaikan tugas yang diberikan. Kelima, Spesialisasi Tugas, yaitu: mendelegasian atau pembagian tugas yang diberikan kepada setiap anggota dalam menyelesaikan tugas kelompok. Keenam, Adaptasi terhadap Kebutuhan Kelompok, yaitu: suatu cara yang dilakukan oleh setiap anggota kelompok untuk mempercepat penyelesaian tugas yang diberikan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif, adalah metode penelitian yang berlandaskan pada filsafat postpositivisme, digunakan untuk meneliti pada kondisi obyek yang alamiah (naturalistik). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di MI Darun Najah Kwangsan Sedati dengan subyek penelitian sebanyak 30 siswa yang diambil dengan random sampling. Dari data yang diperoleh, setelah dilakukan analisis didapatkan untuk pengelolaan kelas dinilai cukup baik karena nilai rata-rata keterampilan guru dalam pengelolaan kelas yang didapat adalah 2,77, untuk aktifitas guru perilaku yang dominan adalah mendorong dan melatih keterampilan siswa. Dan nilai rata-rata aktivitas siswa dalam kelompok belajar adalah 2,78. Dan dari 30 siswa yang menjadi subyek penelitian ini hanya 3 orang siswa yang memberikan respon negatif terhadap pembelajaran. Dengan kata lain hampir 100% dari seluruh siswa telah memberikan respon yang positif terhadap pelaksanaan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT. Sedangkan dari 30 siswa pada subyek penelitian ini tidak satupun siswa yang mendapatkan nilai di bawah 60 poin. Dengan kata lain 100% dan dinyatakan telah tuntas belajarnya. Kesimpulannya adalah jika model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe teams games tournament diterapkan pada pembelajaran mata Pelajaran Al qur’an hadist, maka efektifitas pembelajarannya akan meningkat.

Abstract

AbstrakPengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan kemampuan kepemimpinan konservasi untuk Perangkat Pemerintahan Desa Branjang. Perangkat desa menjadi aset sumber daya yang diandalkan oleh Desa Branjang dalam membangun Desa Wisata yang ramah lingkungan. Kinerja perangkat desa menjadi nyawa bagi berjalannya roda kerja Desa Branjang. Ketidaktercapaian kinerja perangkat desa memiliki dampak yang mempengaruhi cita-cita Desa Branjang sebagai desa wisata. Keterlibatan perangkat desa ini penting dalam mendukung ketercapaian tersebut. Mitra dalam pengabdian ini yaitu Desa Branjang yang berlokasi di Kabupaten Semarang. Berdasarkan permasalahan menjalankan pekerjaan, perangkat desa kurang aktif dalam keterlibatan pekerjaan bersama-sama dengan masyarakat yang dipimpinnya. Kegiatan yang telah dilakukan yaitu pelatihan simulasi, group coaching clinic, dan personal communication. Dari kegiatan tersebut membuahkan hasil yang dapat dirasakan oleh masyarakat yaitu, perangkat desa menjadi lebih aktif untuk terjun ke bawah mendampingi masyarakat dalam menjalankan program-program kerja desa dengan pendekatan yang lebih persuasive dan lebih komunikatif sehingga warga merasa terbantu dan merasa dibimbing. Hal ini menjadi hal yang sangat positif bagi Desa Branjang yang sedang mengembangkan desanya kearah Desa Wisata. Kata kunci: pelatihan simulasi; kepemimpinan; konservasi; desa branjang Abstract This community service aims to improve conservation leadership capabilities for the Branjang Village Government Apparatus. Village apparatus is a resource asset that Branjang Village relies on in building an environmentally friendly Tourism Village. The performance of village officials is the lifeblood of the work of Branjang Village. The failure to achieve the performance of village officials has an impact on the aspirations of Branjang Village as a tourist village. The involvement of village officials is important in supporting this achievement. The partner in this service is Branjang Village which is located in Semarang Regency. Based on problems carrying out work, village officials are less active in engaging in work together with the community they lead. The activities that have been carried out are simulation training, group coaching clinic, and personal communication. These activities produced results that could be felt by the community, namely, village officials became more active in assisting the community in carrying out village work programs with a more persuasive and more communicative approach so that residents felt helped and guided. This is a very positive thing for Branjang Village which is currently developing its village towards a Tourism Village. Keywords: simulation training; leadership; conservation; branjang village
