Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan orang rimba mengenai perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS) melalui pembinaan PHBS rumah tangga. Metode yang dilakukan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu survei, advokasi, sosialisasi mengenai materi PHBS, pembuatan media informasi PHBS orang rimba melalui media sosial dan media massa sebagai bentuk bina suasana PHBS. Dalam Pengabdian ini ditemukan bahwa perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat orang rimba masih dikatakan belum cukup baik meskipun telah tinggal menetap/ tidak melakukan tradisi berpindah tempat. Hasil survey yang dilakukan pada 22 Kepala Keluarga menunjukkan bahwa orang rimba masih banyak melahirkan dengan dukun (85,7%), menimbang bayi dengan teratur (52,4%), tidak menggunakan jamban ketika BAB & BAK (85,7%), menggunakan air bersih (52,4%), membuang sampah sembarangan (85,7%), tidak membersihkan perkarangan (95,2%), merokok (71,4%), memiliki Kartu Sehat/ dsb (52,4%), serta ketidaksesuaian luas dan jumlah anggota keluarga yang tinggal satu rumah (100%). Pengabdian masyarakat ini juga melakukan advokasi dengan Dinas Kesehatan/ Puskesmas wilayah  dalam membuat rencana kegiatan bersama secara berkala. Pelaksanaan sosialisasi mengenai PHBS telah dilakukan di dua lokasi yaitu Desa Sekamis dan Pulau Lintang dengan sasaran minimal 22 Kepala Keluarga dari setiap Desa. Hasil sosialisasi ini menunjukkan bahwa orang rimba yang telah diberikan materi PHBS, setidaknya berhasil mempraktikan keterampilan ber PHBS di rumah tangga yaitu dengan membuang sampah pada tempatnya, membersihkan perkarangan, tidak merokok. Pengawasan mengenai PHBS bagi orang rimba ini diharapkan dapat dilakukan secara terus menerus oleh kader kesehatan yang telah dibentuk melalui pengabdian masyarakat, dengan harapan PHBS ruta bagi orang rimba dapat terwujud, dan dapat diterapkan bagi orang rimba lainnya dengan lokasi yang berbeda.

Abstract

Increasing knowledge about traffic is one solution to reduce the number of traffic accidents, especially for children. This research aimed to figure to examine the effectiveness of Get Skado App to increase traffic knowledge in children. The method used was a quasi-experiment with a pre-post control group design. The population of this research consists of 18 kindergarten students which were split into an experimental group and a controlled group. The experimental group was given Get Skado treatment. To measure the result, there was a traffic knowledge scale used in the pretest and posttest. The result was analyzed by using an independent t-test sample and paired t-test sample. The result of the research showed that there was significant traffic knowledge between pretest and post-test scores within the experimental group. Meanwhile, within the controlled group, no significant traffic knowledge was found. It can be concluded that Get Skado app can increase the traffic knowledge in children.Keywords:traffic knowledge, Children, get skado

Abstract

ABSTRACT Introduction The health and development of autistic children are very dependent on the active role and support of the family. Family social support is very influential on the development of children with autism, the provision of appropriate social support is expected to optimize their needs and improve their quality of life. Social support consists of emotional support, instrumental support, informational support, and reward support. This research aims to see the description of the social support of families of autistic children undergoing a therapy program at the Pusat Layanan Autis Jambi Province based on predetermined aspects. Method This research is a quantitative research using the descriptive method. The research subjects were 48 parents of PLA Jambi Province students obtained by thetotal sampling technique. Data collection is done online using Google Forms. The data analysis technique used univariate analysis with the help of the JASP application. Results The results showed that of the 48 respondents, 39 people (81.3%) had provided social support in the good category, 9 respondents (18.7%) had provided social support in the fairly good category and 0 respondents (0.0% ) has provided social support in the poor category. Conclusions and Recommendation Reward support is the biggest support given by parents to their children who have autism disorders in undergoing the PLA therapy program in Jambi Province. ABSTRAKPendahuluan Kesehatan dan perkembangan anak dengan gangguan autisme sangat bergantung pada peran aktif dan dukungan dari keluarga. Dukungan sosial keluarga sangat mempengaruhi perkembangan anak dengan gangguan autisme, memberikan dukungan sosial yang tepat diharapkan dapat mengoptimalkan kebutuhan dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup mereka. Dukungan sosial terdiri dari dukungan emosional, dukungan instrumental, dukungan informasi, dan dukungan penghargaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat gambaran dukungan sosial keluarga terhadap anak autis dalam menjalani program terapi di Pusat Layanan Autis Provinsi Jambi berdasarkan aspek-aspek yang telah ditentukan. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 48 orang tua peserta didik PLA Provinsi Jambi yang diperoleh dengan teknik total sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan secara online menggunakan google form. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis univariat dengan menggunakan bantuan program aplikasi JASP. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dari 48 responden, sebanyak 39 orang (81,3%) sudah memberikan dukungan sosial dengan kategori baik, 9 orang responden (18,7%) memberikan dukungan sosial dengan kategori cukup dan 0 orang responden (0,0%) memberikan dukungan sosial dengan kategori buruk. Kesimpulan dan Saran: Dukungan penghargaan merupakan dukungan paling besar yang diberikan oleh orang tua kepada anaknya yang mengalami gangguan autisme dalam menjalani program terapi di PLA Provinsi Jambi. Abstract

ABSTRACT Clean and healthy behavior is important to be applied in our society. Many diseases is caused by untidy and unhealty habit. Such as diarrhea, dengue fever, contaminated larva, any other diseases. Therefore, wa are in need of outreaching, psycoeducation, and socialiszation for implementating clean and healty behavior, especially for children. Its Purpose is for enhancing knowledge on clean and healty lived implementation. This social event was conducted at RT.06 Tanjung Baru, Seberang Kota Jambi. The steps consist of approach, briefing, events, and third party contribution. Events that had finished are to educate hand washing, teeth brush, and throwing the garbage in it place. This activities work effectively in accordance with our purpose and society’s need. Banyak penyakit yang timbul akibat hidup kotor dan tidak sehat. Seperti diare, demam berdarah, kontaminasi larva, dan penyakit lainnya. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan penyuluhan, psikoedukasi, dan sosialisasi untuk penerapan hidup bersih dan sehat, terutama pada anak-anak. Hal ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan penerapan hidup bersih dan sehat. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan di di RT. 06 Tanjung Baru, Seberang Kota Jambi. Tahapan kegiatan terdiri dari pendekatan, briefing, kegiatan, dan kontribusi mitra. Adapun kegiatan yang telah terlaksana yaitu edukasi perilaku mencuci tangan, menggosok gigi, dan membuang sampah pada tempatnya. Abstract

ABSTRACT Background: The implementation of the SKADO (Srabut Kelapa Dorong) game is one of the efforts to improve the character of traffic discipline in children. Objective: To provide knowledge about traffic signs and traffic rules. Methods: The Activity community service uses the lecture method, visual media, and the application of skado games. This service is carried out for 6 months. Results: the Skado game has been implemented with the application of providing information regarding traffic signs and traffic order Conclusions: This community service has been going well. Children can follow the facilitator's instructions well and are able to play with the applicable rules Keywords: Child, Game, Skado ABSTRAK Latar belakang: Penerapan permainan SKADO (Srabut Kelapa Dorong) merupakan salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan karakter disiplin berlalu lintas pada anak. Tujuan: Untuk memberikan pengetahuan mengenai rambu-rambu lalu lintas serta tertib berlalu lintas. Metode: Kegiatan pengabdian menggunakan metode ceramah, media peraga, serta penerapan permainan skado. Pelaksanaan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan selama 6 bulan. Hasil: telah dilaksanakanya permainan skado dengan penerapan pemberian informasi mengenai rambu-rambu lalu lintas serta tertib lalu lintas. Kesimpulan: Pengabdian ini telah berlangsung dengan baik. Abstract

INTRODUCTION Risk behaviors are behaviors associated with health problems. The health problems including infectious diseases, HIV problem even AIDS, chronic diseases, psychosomatic disorder, substance addiction, use of illegal drugs, drinking, and psychological disorders. Protective and risk factors is an ability that is expected to be owned by everyone. METHOD This study aims to difference of protective and risk factors based school. The study population was taken with purposive random sampling technique, the characteristics of which students (including smokers, active sexual behavior, drug users) aged 12-21 years. The sample of this research were 518 responden. Analysis of the data will be used using varians analysis. RESULTS Results showed a difference between protective and risk factors based home school students with a p-value of 0.012. Junior high school students do not have a difference of protective and risk factors than high school students with a p-value 0.0947 , and junior high school students have a difference of protective and risk factors with vocational students with p value 0.022 . Junior high school students have a protective and risk factors a higher risk than vocational students . High school students have a difference of protective and risk factors with vocational students with p value 0.039 . High school students have the protective and risk factors a higher risk than vocational students . Vocational students have protective and risk factors is lower than high school students. CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS Risk behavior has become a part of student life. Institutions in order to cooperate with relevant parties in structuring the activities in a sustainable manner in reducing risk behaviors in students. By conducting the preparation of the intervention module for dealing with problems in the risk behavior of students is expected to be a solution to reduce the number of occurrence of risk behavior.

Abstract

INTRODUCTION Risk behaviors are among student has been a problem in the field of health. The risk behavior including sexual behavior, smoking, drug abuse, bullying. METHOD This study aims to determine how many risk behaviors that had occured and other forms of risk behavior anything ever done by students. The study population was taken with purposive random sampling technique, the characteristics of which students (including smokers, active sexual behavior, drug users) aged 12-21 years. The sample of this research were 518 responden. Analysis of the data will be used using descriptive analysis. RESULTS The research findings show risk behavior has occurred in the school environment. Sexual behavior such as dating, holding hands, hugging, cheek and lips kissing, rubbing breasts and genitals, oral sex, sexual intercourse is a form existiong in student life. Resources porn more easily accessible for students, such as the internet, mobile phones/ gadgets, and peer group. Drug abuse and smoking occurs due to peer preasure. The elementary school is the first time students smoking and drug abuse. The incidence of risk behavior are more prevalent in the home and schools, because of the lack of parental supervision and the environment. CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS Risk behavior has become a part of student life. Schools and government should work together to develop policies regarding the preparation of healthy school standard based physical and psychological dimensions. Keywords: Risk Behavior, Students

Abstract

INTRODUCTION Jambi Traditional Game is one of the cultural parts in Jambi. Traditional game is something (a game) that sticks to the norms and customs through generations that can provide the sense of satisfaction or pleasure for the player. Jambi traditional game is an educational game that has been existed since ancient times, hereditary or habitual, and have benefits in improving the basic skills of children. Technological development, especially modern games nowadays are beginning to diminish traditional games in Jambi Province. METHOD This research is a qualitative research with ethnography study. This study aims to identify traditional games that had been passed down through generations, to identify and describe Jambi traditional games that can be used in improving the basic skills of children, to describe the traditional game activities that are still performed by children, and finding the right way to socialize traditional Jambi games related to basic skills of children. The data were collected by using in-depth interview method, FGD, and were analyzed by using triangulation method. RESULT The results of the study showed that there were thirteen (13) traditional game designs that are appropriate to the age of early childhood, and three (3) of them required guidance from adults / parents while in the process. The basic skills developed by traditional games are kinesthetic intelligence, linguistic intelligence, logical-mathematical intelligence, visual-spatial intelligence, musical intelligence, natural intelligence, interpersonal intelligence, Intrapersonal Intelligence, Spiritual Intelligence. CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATION This traditional gameplay can also emerge character values ​​in children, such as religious values, nationalist, independent, gotong royong (mutual cooperation), integrity. Traditional game socialization can be done by compiling pocket books on games that can be introducted in early childhood education such as playschool and Kindergarten in the form of direct experience as well as training in making Games Tool Education/Alat Permainan Edukatif (APE) based on local culture and disseminated through the website in the form of digital books. Abstract

Introduction Prosocial behaviour of early childhood increased at the age of 4-12 years. Prosocial behaviour is important to developed from an early age because very useful for develop social attitude better. In this era, teaching in early chilhood dominated by numeral and characters. In this case, aspect of cognitive get the bigger of stimulation but other aspect like prosocial behaviour less consider. Objective The purpose of this study is to determine whether the method of storytelling using puppets influences prosocial behavior in early childhood.Method This study using quantitative quasi experimental design. Technique of sample using purposive sampling. Total of subject are 16 with eksperimen and control grup. This research using checklist form observation. The hypothesis test using descriptive technique and paired sample t-test.Result This research shows that there is the significant positive effect between giving storytelling using wayang toward prosocial behaviour of early childhood in eksperimen group. The contribution of sig value (2 tailed) is 0,041 (p<0,05). Based on mean, there is raising prosocial behaviour of early childhood in eksperimen group, the value is 15,13%Conclusions And Recommendations Storytelling using wayang have a positive effect toward prosocial behaviour of early childhood. That is because wayang more interesting for children than only read a book. Storytelling routine can make the children to develop another of positive aspects.Keywords : storytelling, wayang, prosocial behaviour. ABSTRAK Latar Belakang Perilaku prososial pada anak usia dini meningkat pada usia 4 sampai 12 tahun. Perilaku prososial penting dikembangkan sejak usia dini karna berguna untuk mendukung pengembangan sikap sosial yang lebih baik di dalam diri dan lingkungan anak. Dewasa ini pengajaran pada anak usia dini lebih didominasi oleh angka dan huruf, dalam hal ini aspek kognitif mendapatkan stimulasi terbesar sedangkan aspek yang lain seperti perilaku prososial kurang diperhatikan. Objektif tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah metode storytelling menggunakan wayang berpengaruh terhadap perilaku prososial pada anak usia dini. Metode Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan Quasi Eksperimen. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling.Jumlah responden penelitian sebanyak 16 responden dengan kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Penelitian ini menggunakan form observasi checklist. Uji hipotesis menggunakan teknik paired sample t-test. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan antara pemberian metode storytelling menggunakan media wayang terhadap perilaku prososial pada anak usia ini pada kelompok eksperimen. Adapun kontribusi nilai sig. (2 tailed) sebesar 0,041 dengan p<0,05. Berdasarkan meanterdapat peningkatan perilaku prososial pada anak usia dini pada kelompok eksperimen sebesar 15,13%. Diskusi Metode storytelling menggunakan wayang berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan perilaku prososial pada anak usia dini. Hal ini dikarenakan media wayang lebih menarik minat anak dalam mendengarkan cerita dibandingkan hanya dibacakan melalui buku, sehingga pesan yang terkandung dalam cerita mudah disampaikan kepada anak. Abstract

Introduction Early childhood is a golden period to instill health value and has the potential as an agent of change to promote personal hygiene in the school, family and community environment. The game can be used as a media to introduce personal hygiene to early childhood. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of Sehat-i Games against personal hygiene in early childhood.Method The research method used quasi-experimental with a nonrandomized pretest-posttest control design. The research subjects consisted of 10 experimental groups and 10 control groups. The measuring instrument used in this study was a personal hygiene scale. Data analysis used descriptive analysis and Test Sign analysis.Results The results showed that the average value of personal hygiene pretest score was 5.85 and the posttest was 6.25 meaning there was an increase in score of 0.4 (6.8%) after treatment and the Exact Sig (2-tailed) value of 1,000 was obtained > 0.05.Conclusions and Recommendations These results indicate that there is no significant difference in personal hygiene before being given treatment and after being given Sehat-i Games. On the other side, based on the mean there is an increase in personal hygiene after being given a Sehat-i Games but it is very small, ie, 0.4 or 6.8% and there are four personal hygiene behaviors that have increased, there are washing hands and feet before sleeping, washing hands and feet after playing, brushing teeth while showering and brushing teeth before going to sleep.Keywords: Games, Early childhood, Personal Hygiene ABSTRAK Pendahuluan Anak usia dini adalah masa keemasan untuk menanamkan nilai kesehatan dan berpotensi sebagai agent of change untuk mempromosikan personal hygiene baik di lingkungan sekolah, keluarga, maupun masyarakat. Permainan dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu media untuk memperkenalkan personal hygiene pada anak usia dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektiftas Permainan Sehat-i terhadap personal hygiene pada anak usia dini. Metode  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental-kuasi dengan rancangan nonrandomized pretest-posttest control design. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 10 orang kelompok eksperimen dan 10 orang kelompok kontrol. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skala personal hygiene. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis Uji Sign. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata skor personal hygiene pretest sebesar 5,85 dan posttest sebesar 6,25 artinya terdapat peningkatan skor sebesar 0,4 (6,8%) setelah perlakuan dan diperoleh nilai exact Sig (2-tailed) sebesar 1,000 > 0,05. Kesimpulan dan Saran Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan personal hygiene sebelum diberikan perlakuan dan sesudah diberikan Permainan Sehat-i. Adapun sisi lain berdasarkan nilai mean terdapat peningkatan personal hygiene setelah diberikan permainan Sehat-i namun sangat kecil yaitu sebear 0,4 atau 6,8% dan terdapat empat perilaku personal hygiene yang mengalami peningkatan yaitu mencuci tangan dan kaki sebelum tidur, mencuci tangan dan kaki setelah bermain, menggosok gigi ketika mandi, dan menggosok gigi sebelum tidur.
