Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penghilangan fonem pada iklan spanduk  di Pekalongan-Batang, mengetahui penambahan fonem pada iklan spanduk di Pekalongan – Batang, dan mengetahui perubahan fonem pada iklan spanduk di Pekalongan-Batang. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah yakni a) penghilangan fonem pada kata ‘ketua’ dan ‘oke’ menjadi ‘ket’. serta ‘ok’, maka ada penghilangan fonem /e/, /u/, /a/ , b) penambahan fonem pada kata ‘enak’ dan ‘sedap’ menjadi kata ‘uenaaak’ dan ‘sedaap’ ada penambahan fonem /u/, /a/, /a/ dan /a/ , c) perubahan fonem terdapat pada kata ‘alun-alun’ dan ‘mantap’ menjadi kata ‘aloen-aloen’ dan ‘mantep’ yang perubahan feonemnya /u/ menjadi /o/ /e/ serta /a/ menjadi /e/.

Abstract

Bahasa, masyarakat dan komunikasi merupakan bagian yang tidak terpisahkan dari perkembangan budaya. Bahasa dan politik bagian yang saling melengkapi dan sarana komunikasi yang efektif. Bahasa tidak hanya sekadar menjadi alat komunikasi, namun dapat menjadi instrument untuk melakukan sesuatu atau sarana penerapan strategi kekuasaan. Bahasa dapat diproduksi dalam kehidupan sosial yang pada akhirnya menghasilkan makna. Salah satu produksi bahasa yang akhirnya menimbulkan makna ada di dalam acara Mata Najwa. Pada acara ini dianalisis dengan analisis wacana kritis (AWK) dengan model Teun A. Van Dijk. Analisis wacana kritis (AWK) membantu memahami bahasa dalam berbagai macam konteks. Acara Mata Najwa yang merupakan bagian dari wacana politik di media massa. Wacana politik merupakan bentuk nyata penerapan bahasa dalam lingkup kekuasaan yang dijadikan penerapan strategi kekuasaan. Artikel ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskripsti. Tujuan artikel ini adalah mendeskripsikan tiga dimensi wacana menurut van Dijk yaitu Teks, kognisi sosial, konteks sosial dan mendeskripsikan struktur wacana menurut van Dijk yaitu struktur makro, suprastruktur dan struktur mikro.

Abstract

This Community Service activity aims to provide training and assistance solutions regarding the creation of library catalogs in the context of turning the Ceria Reading Park, Bandengan Subdistrict, Pekalongan City into a digital library. This activity also aims to make Community Service partners a source of information literacy in the digital era for the residents of Bandengan Subdistrict, Pekalongan City, especially visitors to Baca Ceria Park who consist of children and teenagers. The partners for this Community Service activity are the library staff at the Ceria Reading Park, Bandengan Village, Pekalongan City. The method for implementing Community Service activities is divided into 4 stages, namely socialization, training, mentoring and evaluation. The result of this Community Service activity is that in the early stages of socialization activities can be socialized well. In the training stage, Community Service partners can participate in training well and smoothly so that they can get the latest information and knowledge regarding how to create catalogs and digital literacy. Not only does the training end, the mentoring process can strengthen the knowledge and skills that have been obtained from the training as well as accompanying Community Service partners in the training. The final results of the evaluation stage showed that Community Service partners stated that their knowledge about cataloging and knowledge about digital literacy had increased and stated that this Community Service activity could provide benefits for Community Service partners.  Keywords: Community Service, digital literacy, librarian, cheerful reading park

Abstract

Language, based on semantics, is a system of signs or symbols used to convey meaning. In semantic studies, language is understood not only as a means of communication but also as a medium for conveying meaning that is influenced by the situation, culture, and knowledge of the user and listener. A sentence has different meanings, depending on the response or response through interaction in the Instagram comment column. This study aims to examine the forms of meaning change and identify the factors that cause meaning change in the Instagram comment column presents unique language dynamics, including shifts in the meaning that occur due to the context of use, language style, and the socio cultural background of the speaker. That analysis was carried out by classifying the data based on the type of meaning change, such as expansion, narrowing, amelioration, pejoration, and associative changes. The results of the study indicate that changes in meaning in comments are influenced by various factors, including situational context, language creativity, the use of figurative language, and the influence of popular culture. These findings indicate that social media is not only a means of expression but also a space for dynamic language evolution. The implications of this research are expected to be used as teaching materials or teaching guides in news text learning material in class XI in high school.

Abstract

The ability to understand implied meaning is essential in language learning, as communication does not always convey meaning explicitly. This study aims to identify the forms and types of conversational implicature in the novel Forgulos by Aveus Har and to explain its relevance to Indonesian language learning at the junior high school level. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data derived from utterances in the novel Forgulos. Data were collected using observation and note-taking techniques, while data analysis was conducted using the matching method with the determining element sorting technique. The results show that there are two types of conversational implicature, namely 20 instances of conventional implicature and 10 instances of nonconventional implicature. These implicatures function to convey implied meanings, deepen character development, and support the progression of the plot. The findings are relevant to Indonesian Language Learning Outcomes in Phase D and can be utilized as alternative teaching materials to enhance students’ ability to interpret both explicit and implicit meanings in literary texts.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the language variations used by teachers and students in communication through WhatsApp Groups at SMP Negeri 4 Pekalongan, identify the factors influencing their occurrence, and examine their implementation in Indonesian language learning. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach, with data sources consisting of conversations between teachers and students in the WhatsApp Groups of Grade VII and Grade VIII classes. The data were collected through observation, documentation, and note-taking techniques, and then analyzed using an interactive analysis model involving data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that language variation based on the level of formality includes the Formal Style, Consultative Style, and Casual Style, while the Frozen Style and Intimate Style were not found. The emergence of these language variations is influenced by communication situations, teacherstudent relationships, the use of WhatsApp as a communication medium, speakers' age, communication efficiency, and social media usage habits. The study also demonstrates that WhatsApp Group conversations can be utilized as authentic teaching materials in teaching procedural texts for Grade VII and Grade VIII Indonesian language classes. This research contributes to the field of sociolinguistics while offering an alternative source of contextual and relevant teaching materials that reflect students' digital communication practices.

Abstract

This research aims to develop learning media in the form of a Canva-based e-module on fraction material to foster students' multiliteracies. This type of research is a development research with the Plomp development model. In this model, the stages carried out are: (1) the initial investigation stage, (2) the design stage, (3) the realization/construction stage, (4) the test, evaluation and revision stage). The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire sheet in the form of a validation questionnaire to measure the validity of the product developed and a response questionnaire to measure the practicality of the product developed as well as a test to determine the effectiveness of the product developed. The results of the study showed that the learning media in the form of a Canva-based e-module on fraction material to foster multiliteracies was valid with a validation value of 3.86 and practical with a response questionnaire value of 91%. The results of the pretest and posttest showed an increase of 0.72 (high criteria). Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Canva-based e-module is valid, practical and effective so that it can be used by teachers and students in mathematics learning.
